not bad for so called 'pocket money' hey sp? ...
will be nice to retire ... i may do the same soon ...
enjoy the crabs ...
You still think he built that farm with pocket money? How much did you donate? I am about to pay my debts. That would have been impossible without cryptos. Still need to figure out how to live in this third world country ((

Education systems aren't the same across countries bro. Some countries the last couple years of highschool is considered higher education, even though it's on par with US high school system. There are also others that are considered 'higher education', even though it's just vocational training, the same as tech school/community schools in the US. Germany comes to mind, where kids go right into vocational training.
That's not the same thing as a four year bachelors in the US.
Bensam, do you have any children? Like your stop orders, this is again some bullshit I can't understand.

I don't know about sp_ but must say this totally new brand xcnbeer, whoa so good!

I don't need any marketing. I have made the fastest zcash and monero kernels for the pascal chipset, and my farm is growing... Soon $1 000 000 in debt.. I will probobly be logging off the forum for good as well.. With crab pots on my private island.. he-he
Go for the crabs! I was always wondering why you didn't go offline earlier. It was all about faster code, amiga?

Critical thinking involves looking at problems and attempting to solve them, not ignoring them and not talking about them. You'd learn that if you attended any sort of higher education.
Agree, that's what I have been trying to teach to my children. One of them spent 4 years in business school in the US, another one is about to start her last year in the UK. We'll see where they go... People who 'whine about whining' are usually just primary school grads that still think in the same mindset.
That's how it works in the US, where I live everyone who has grades good enough gets some sort of higher education. "Free". That's why we have Trump as a president in the US and people are getting angry now that they are encountering issues that effect their life that the 'whiners' originally 'whined' about. Of course I'm sure they don't think about it that way.
+1 ;-) There isn't always a answer to your problems through your own hands. Group work teaches you that. You can't always figure it out.
Again true (get out of that jesus mode). I have spent some time in places where group work kept you alive. I had my family with me. Also weird how you act pro-business
Men's hobbies tend to get out of hands, this one really did. What you don't understand is that if you never dumped you are looking at some really big numbers here. One gpu could easily pay college. Nothing against sp_, just don't like that marketing against newbies. But hey, how do you say it, fool and his money are soon parted? Nice elephants, peace.

Amph, you are again speculating too much.
Sometimes it's important to ask your boss why you are doing what you are doing. If he can't give you a good enough answer you should change job... True, that is why I have been my own boss most of my life. I just hate this whining about profits, if I remember right you were whining too about 16 months ago. You were told to stop that whining and instead do something to earn more. You did, much more than that 30 cheap donated btc. You don't need to whine anymore, now there is a new generation whining. Must say I don't like your modded business model, in my perfect world I would like everything to be opensource but knowing how almost everyone here is only after profits... couldn't care less. edit: OT, Japan is ruling btc trading volume, why doesn't it show on unconfirmed transactions?

i don't have 1000 gpu mining with 150k return
Amph, you are again speculating too much.

Until 2 days ago, it had a GTX 980ti in there. As you guys know, it is terrible for mining.
It never shined on eth but it is still very profitable on equihash and some other algos.
|
|
|
Risers help a lot, that way you only need to remove the sidepanel. I have seen old office desktops that mine happily with four gpu's.
|
|
|
Those gpu's are too old to mine eth efficiently, dag buffer size has grown too big. Most propably it is more profitable to mine equihash based coins with them.
There is an easy and fast solution to get those cards mining again, nicehashminer. Just add your btc address, it downloads miners, runs benchmarks and starts selling your hashpower automatically. You are paid in btc.
After you have them running you can start reading and learning how to get better earnings out of them.

Exchanges briefing: - BTC38 still on hold: I've been working with them for months to no avail (yet). The volume is huge and I still believe it's their interest to finally re-enalbe the wallet.
- Poloniex: trading closed but wallet available for withdrawals. To be listed again, we should submit an "add coin" request as if it was new.
- Bittrex: they just keep ignoring me.
- Novaexchange: We are progressing quickly, I think we will be listed in a few days.
- Bter: I haven't used the exchange for years so I can't speak, but I read reports of it working but with issues.
There is also bx.in.th, low volume but deposits and withdrawals work. https://bx.in.th/BTC/XCN/

Anyone have any hints on how to get this card usable again? My card is ASUS Strix 390 8GB.. If anyone has another BIOS file that might work, can we PM?
If it has dual bios, you can get the other bios. It doesn't. Original hynix-only bios if dooferorg still needs it, use dos atiflash: https://ufile.io/ztip3

This is interesting: With Monero a I7 4790 runs at 300 H/S using 90W power.
One of my laptops can do 110h/s using only +20w when mining, it kills all my desktop i5's and i7's in terms of w/h. And is really close to best gpu's.

I normally connect one fan to psu just to easily see if it is on or not, would that help in your case?

I DO MOST OF MY OWN COOKING--
But thanks for telling me my 980ti was slow. I have since turned up the fan, and blasted the card with compressed air. It appears to have a dust problem. A little maintenance may help things. --scryptr
Looks like there are at least two cooks here then, I am my own cook too. I am a bit jealous to sp_, this weekend I am going to try to catch some small herrings, meanwhile sp_ is harvesting king crabs. Damn. How much did you get out of that 980ti after cleaning?
|
|
|
Why dump now. Bether to wait a few months and sell on a bigger exchange..
True, I mined some and wait. Looks like about everything that has even remotely blockchain in it shoots up. Year 2000 again.

Calm down guys, bitcore mining profits are soon leveled. Next one please...
IT TAKES TWELVE HOURS TO CONFIRM-- And then another six (6) hours at the exhange before you can trade it. My McD's burger is already just another sack of fries. --scryptr Haha, you could have two sacks if you fried them yourself. I mean 980ti is already cooking so why not?
