543  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: April 05, 2015, 09:07:22 PM
couldnt every one of these scientific "proofs" be used to demonstrate that god doesnt exist as well? its a circular argument
i quote "proofs" because science by definition does not attempt to prove anything.. it merely tries to demonstrate likely theorems to describe natural phenomena
544  Other / New forum software / Re: Dealing with swearing too much on: April 05, 2015, 11:46:10 AM
are we all children that must be put in a corner to deal with issues? whats wrong with a bit of harsh language? cursing is language and language especially as text are ideas and ideas should be freely expressed. censorship in any form is worse than any porn pic or 3/4 letter word.. and has no place on the internet
if swearing bothers u so much u should consider disconnecting from the web not disconnecting the web from u
545  Other / Politics & Society / Re: CAN MICROBES PASS DNA TO THEIR HOST’S BABIES? on: April 05, 2015, 08:36:53 AM
really nice selection of articles Tusk.. each is significant with vast implications about organisms.. for instance the last one tells us that mice apparently have an affinity for artificial sweetner muncher bacteria with unique glycolitic pathways.. now the question remains, do we share such an affinity? since apparently there exist bacteria that can eat stuff we cant, maybe mice reactively digest certain bacteria we cannot.. tho thats more verging on wishful thinking than reason. anyways it raises interesting questions.

i read through most these sources on occasion, but you found the gems Smiley

548  Other / Meta / PM restrictions on newbs on: April 05, 2015, 03:53:46 AM
Im surprised its not alluded to here in one of the stickies.. anyone have any answers about when this goes away? I have been using this forum pretty extensively for a few months now though mostly PM'ing, so my user class has remained constant. Its super annoying and I'm just wondering how long I need to deal with it.
Thanks and sorry if this is answered elsewhere but I didnt find any straightforward answers

555  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Bitcoin Fog: Secure Bitcoin Anonymization on: February 04, 2015, 11:25:12 PM
By some bitcoin miracle I have just now received the first confirmation on the transaction from blockchain. It looks like the bitcoin gods monitor this forum.
I guess there might be hope for all of you that have lost bitcoins to the internet vortex
556  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Bitcoin Fog: Secure Bitcoin Anonymization on: February 04, 2015, 10:59:49 PM
Same thing happen to me on bitcoin fog, same URL.

I deposited some bitcoins that took way more confirmations than 6 until they appeared in my account. The next day I withdrew them to an external wallet over a 6 hour period. The withdrawal appears and is labeled "finished", but blockchain has no record of any transaction nor have the bitcoins arrived to the destination address. It has been about 15 hours now.

I've messaged support on bitcoin fog and PM'd Akemashite Omedetou on this site and am now waiting for some resolution.

I can only bitcoin fog is not a scam. I've used them fairly extensively in the past without any issues so I'm hoping for the best.

I'll update as to how this proceeds
