31 minutes since the network has solved a block... is that a long time or is it just me
Meh... they are all slow today
2 days ago I saw 57 minutes since the network solved a block, it was a period where about 70Ph fell off for a while, since the diff is based on network hash and say a large pool has issues and the network looses 70ph, blocks can get quite long. I see that as an issue if say China lost all internet in a massive attack or natural disaster. Since more then 60% of all the hash is in China, we would be in deep dodo with blocks going days and maybe weeks.

|
|
BLOCK! Good thing its not in the 500%+ field. Now lets nail a few under 50%
|
|
|
Oh boy, over 200% already.......One would like to think that after a 666 block, the next dozen would be under or around 100%

Yea, these fuckers are paying for links with the 14 btc they stole from me! Fell for the hardware sale scam and now out 14 btc!
uhh really? sorry for you loss, but can you please provide us here some evidence like bitcoin TX, order mails, screenshots etc? Actually, I don't believe, that you sent them 14 BTC, but if yes, please prove it. did you start legal actions? Also, I did file a fraud report with action fraud.police.uk and provided all the details and evidence. I'm also conferring legal action, but not sure where to start on that and if I need to get a lawyer in the UK and then the cost of that action vs. the likelihood of getting back. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have a buddy in the UK and asked him to stop by the corporate address to see is anyone is there. Nothing, there was a women that came to the door, but knew nothing about any CloudThink company and said she works for the real estate office thats at that address. At least a dozen emails to support address via website and direct email, called toll free number daily and also plays a looping msg that all agents are busy them drops call after 3 loops. Did you get a tracking number from FedeX, or have you heard nothing from them? When ordered it was pending, once payment was made via coin payments.net then it went to complete as it stands now. Was listed as Fedex international priority and states 10-20 days for US and 10-30 days for EU. No tracking number, no shipping notice, no communication at all. Tried email a dozen times and phone calls also which just play a all agents busy loop 3 times and then drop your call.

are they already a confirmed scam ? I mean did they scam everyone yet or are they still "legit"
They are never "legit" to begin with. No legit company will need to lie so much ever since the first day they decided to lay foot in bitcointalk. Apart from that, the definitions of scam depends on your personal perspective because for me they are already a scammer since day 1, they didnt pay their signature campaign ( which I dont care but still that is a scam to me ), didnt pay for their social campaign ( again, dont care but still a scam ) also they change their business model from "investment" into selling hardware all at sudden along with heavy advertising throughout the social media which indicates that they need a quick buck ( pretty much a scam to me) Also this guy that claimed he lost/was scammed over 2,500 pounds ....I'm out over 2,500 pounds....
See link of the orders, payments and emails for the hardware I order from them. With regards to a post that someone posted about resisting details and company. Anyone in UK can register a business under any address so long as have proof are their or if doing on company house, I simply takes one phone call, and some personal details, payment over phone or can be sent to them, and business is registered legally. Yet if complaints are made to companyhouse no doubt an investigation would take place to remove them.
I have reported them to Action Fraud Team in the UK, CRN:NFRC150701127117. Trying to see what other agency I can report this fraud to, I'm out over 2,500 pounds and I'm sure there are many other victims of both the cloud mining scam and the recent hardware sale scam. BTW - Know of a hacker for hire that can find the scum bag behind this company? I'd be willing to escrow a good reward!

just found us a block 25 minutes ago Oh my god, a 59% block. Surely the pool must be broken! Any idea why these big fish leave? If they would stay it would be a 5ph or larger pool. We are still over 100% long term and top notch code and service. Just don't see where they can do better, I think anything over 100% luck is best you can do compared to the pools you have to choose from. Unless they usually solo mine, just don't get it.
Any insight anyone?
I wonder about this as well. They would receive a majority of each block reward at this pool, so the payouts would be larger (but less frequent) than if they were at one of the big Chinese pools. I would love to hear from them and know what their strategy is for where to point >1PH. With that much gear running I'm sure they have to maintain a pretty decent amount of btc incoming. Maybe with that much hash, you can't take any variance and need x amount daily to pay the bills. But even with variance, you still need to be at 100% to cover your costs and the big pools are between 98-102 on avg. Over a 30 day period I think you would do good on a smaller pool and help get the hash out of China. I will never mine a China pool, I don't have much hash but if all the under 100th guys mine smaller pools then we can make a dent to decentralize.

OR they got bribed with coin and are doing this out of greed. You never know. Also, has anyone started receiving their payments for the $500 free package yet?
They are most probably bribed, because as far as i know; they ad an article about the company before, and removed it, only to place this new one just now. They know what they are doing, and they know who they are advertising. Indeed. It would seem that they were simply paid to publish an article, which isn't uncommon. The verification is something that poses no risk to them either, they're simply verifiying that CloudThink is a registered company. That doesn't mean they're trustworthy. So did anyone actually get any of the hardware they are selling?

Well obviously Kano fixed the pool code, right? Hopefully some/most/all of the hash that came to bust that block stays on this pool. Aannd... It's gone. Any idea why these big fish leave? If they would stay it would be a 5ph or larger pool. We are still over 100% long term and top notch code and service. Just don't see where they can do better, I think anything over 100% luck is best you can do compared to the pools you have to choose from. Unless they usually solo mine, just don't get it. ... and one of the top two miners who added multiple PHs hashes on to that evil 666.666% block just found us a block 25 minutes ago So the top bar of the stats say 1,748 Th, but when I look at the pool stats page, just the top 5 miners make up over 2.5Ph. Which on is correct? Seems like one of those is off. I have actually seen this case several times where the pool stats on the top 5-10 miners are much higher then whats reported as current pool hash on the header bar at the top. Different rolling time frame. They're all accurate in their own way. Kano can elaborate when he has time. I see the different hash rates on the stats page, current, 5min, 1hr, 24hr. The list of miners says 5min hash rate, so I would think that list should match the 5min total at top, but it does not. Also, the teal color hash rate next to CKPool in the header, is that current, 5 min or 1 hr? That looks to match the 5min on the stats page, but again the miner list says 5 min and adding it up does not match any of the other totals. Not a big deal, just curious

Ahh finally. 666.67% wow, so thats the new records block for this pool.nice we have 5Ph for a while to get over this block. Now 12 more under 100%
|
|

Help come in...2 Ths. Enough to quarrel.
Better break it now, 2.4 Ph just came in to help kill this 550% block. Yesterday Slush had a 900%+ block. Hope we don't need to go that high

At some point don't we have to cut our losses and simply assume that there's something wrong with the pool and bail? I've already shutdown my less efficient miners because of this bad luck. I'd hate to lose my shares that I've built up during this time but I simply can't run my gear with no revenue incoming. I hate to think that I can't support small pools but the reality is... I can't justify (under any circumstances) an entire week without finding a block. I have supported this pool on and off. I Have supported solo.ckpool pretty much on. variance or luck can suck bigtime.But for you guys to complain just look below 12 blocks in a row all good times. So you caught a shit one a 99% cdf it happens what about the 12 good ones here. 281 365637 bitminerpro_S3R.2059A0C3EB62 >>> 25.08284573 2015-07-17 01:26:22+00 Matured 13,415,052,999 26.26% 0.231 280 365602 melancon_004 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 25.33853126 2015-07-16 19:32:15+00 Matured 40,757,569,911 79.80% 0.550 279 365509 canaan.dq6 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 25.07354634 2015-07-16 01:55:45+00 Matured 7,657,237,878 14.99% 0.139 278 365491 melancon_022 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 25.16632509 2015-07-15 22:33:56+00 Matured 32,902,151,742 64.42% 0.475 277 365383 canaan.dqe >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 25.12963832 2015-07-15 07:53:32+00 Matured 49,003,014,038 95.94% 0.617 276 365257 BTCWoman.3Jo >>>>>>>>>>>>>> 25.13419375 2015-07-14 09:29:50+00 Matured 11,465,257,986 22.45% 0.201 275 365224 canaan.dq6 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 25.47074934 2015-07-14 04:05:35+00 Matured 7,315,108,528 14.32% 0.133 274 365204 canaan.dq6 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 25.16541863 2015-07-14 00:42:52+00 Matured 36,505,299,231 71.47% 0.511 273 365089 canaan.dq6 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 25.09490192 2015-07-13 07:47:38+00 Matured 15,464,398,776 30.28% 0.261 272 365061 canaan.dq6 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 25.18186700 2015-07-13 00:38:41+00 Matured 23,959,388,224 46.91% 0.374 271 365003 aluz.18 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 26.16233241 2015-07-12 14:01:22+00 Matured 15,866,544,419 31.06% 0.267 270 364961 melancon_020 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 25.25408248 2015-07-12 07:24:10+00 Matured 16,479,406,100 32.26% 0.276 I have not mined here in a while and I am being crushed at mmpool.org at this time. Slush killed a block that was over 900% about 8 hours ago and now they are on to another almost 200% block so far, again my comments that last 2 days now very few blocks outside china. very odd. Ghash also had a 2 day block they just hit, only ones doing well are the China pools. Hmmmm
