541  Economy / Economics / Re: Does People Really Care About Decentralization? on: April 10, 2023, 11:59:50 PM
Hence that’s why many want to stay away from the centralization world and want something decentralized like Bitcoin and the new dex that we have right now. People don’t want to depend on a governing body for their safety when the times get tough.

Aside from that, the comfortability between centralization and decentralization is a big thing.

Although lots of risks being under decentralization, it's good to experience the freedom we are getting being in that.

I'm not against a centralized system but it's just that, not all the time we should always deal with that.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 10, 2023, 11:59:43 PM
Im not really that so convinced that Nghitumbwa would really be having that kind of crowd pressure considering that he held that belt then its impossible that he isnt really get used to big crowd.
You wouldnt really be able to achieve up such state or condition if you do easily get rattled when ever you do able to encounter this kind of ambiance which it is unlikely would be an issue.
Speaking about experience then Casimero is really on edge but he shouldnt really be that confident when it comes to this because we know that upsets
could really fucked you up hard if you are really that careless.

Should be a warm-up fight for Casimero. If he loses here, say goodbye to his goal of becoming a world champion again.

Nghitumbwa is nowhere within top rankings and recognized boxers. If Casimero will struggle against him, what's more to the top ranked boxers.

Casimero just neeeds again to impress the boxing fans with a good KO win. If he do that, WBO might moved up him in rankings to at least Top 5.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Times When Casinos Will Ask Certificate That You Are A Responsible Gambler on: April 10, 2023, 11:59:35 PM
I wonder what would be the guidelines for having the certificate? What's the procedure?

If that requires looking for the financial aspects of the user, I doubt that is breaching the gambler's privacy. KYC is now slowly accepting even though others don't want it but looking for much deeper information like salary and financial capability, that is not a good thing already.

Government and casinos will just keep the usual way of reminding people to be responsible in gambling.

I prefer to have a dissenting opinion because there is really nothing impossible online, thirty years ago no one would have thought that you can play casinos in the comfort of your home but we have hundreds of them right now.
the requirement need not apply to all players but to specific types of players that contribute to being compulsive gamblers there's the possibility of casinos complying because of the license issuer requirements and it should be put in their TOS.
It's not really a good thing but the government and authorities will always have a way, so this is not really a remote scenario, in my opinion, the possibility of anything is always there.

I disagree. Even no one thought 30 years ago that we can play casino at our home, it's always possible to happened. It's different to the concern of yours about certificate since it now involved too much privacy concerns. As I said, I'm sure one thing that will looked at here is the user's financial capability and that means casinos needs to verify where our funds came from.

It will result for some users leaving that casino. I do fine with KYC but if financial documents will be required, that's a total bullshit requirements.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: April 10, 2023, 11:59:29 PM
This fight is a mega fight. This should happen because the boxing fans around the world are not only hoping that this happens, they demand for it. Not only that, both boxers also want this fight to happen. That's why I don't understand why promoters cannot reach an agreement. Isn't it that they should prioritize the fans or even the fighters they are handling? These greedy promoters are not only milking the fighters, they are also hindering the best fights to ever happen.

This is really should happened because there's nowhere it should go the other way. An unification fight is always mandatory for those champions at the same division that holds their respective belt for long. They are also the top ranked boxers at 147 and they need to face each other no matter what.

Last year, it's almost a done deal but still failed at the end. This year, the news came out and they are expecting to face each other now. Although the information is still lacking, I hope there will be no dissapointment that will happened.

546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 09, 2023, 11:58:42 PM
We all know that Inoue is capable of knocking out his opponent, but I think if the benefit outweighs the risk then it is not hard to decide whether to fight Inoue or not.  Inoue is labeled a monster and many believe that he can dominate the super bantamweight division.  I think Fulton being the champion of the division is being challenged and beating Inoue can give him a foothold in reputation.  If Fulton defeats Inoue, his popularity is greatly boosted and his being the champion will not be questioned anymore.  So I do not think it is a hard decision for Fulton to fight Inoue.

Facing Naoya Inoue is a big achievement to anyone especially if they will be able to upset him.

Stephen Fulton take that chance since if he able to upset Inoue, that was a big recognition waiting for him.

Not just that, a more good fight with a high value is also waiting for him if he beats Naoya Inoue even as a challenger.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 09, 2023, 11:58:32 PM
Anyway, it's like a chess game where the losing team will make some adjustments for them not to lose 2 straight. TNT will bounce back (like always), so maybe betting on them would be a good choice. Cheesy

But if we saw some clear problems that TNT is struggling to do, expect that even they adjust, Ginebra will just do better.

It's not just the losing that will do some adjustment but also the winning team.

Ginebra, clearly knows that TNT will make some adjustment that's why they will do some adjustments too once there will be a change of tactics and gameplay by the TNT. Example, if they will see Pogoy or Williams is showing a good performance in Game 1, Ginebra will considered shifting their strategy to contain these two.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 09, 2023, 11:58:27 PM
Following you, before throwing trash talks, a fighter already envisioning the possibilities and how he will want the fight to end,
he's aiming to work with his words and will try to accomplish what he said.

A trashtalk by Casimero seems also his way to make himself hype at the fight.

For all the trashtalk that Casimero needs, in fairness, he is able to show that he is not just by words but can send a big statement once he fights.

Casimero just needs to throw his trash talk in not considered below the belt to make things not worst.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 09, 2023, 11:58:23 PM
Yeah, this championship fight needs to happen, and so is the other sanctioning body's championship and eliminator. The Inoue going up in weight created this kind of mess.

What? How Inoue created this mess? In the first place, he already achieved all things that were needed in the bantamweight division and it just makes sense for him to move up. No need to stay in the 122 division.

It's Jason Moloney who created this mess because he backed off this fight.

It's just that there's no official date released but it's not a problem. We just need to wait.
550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: April 08, 2023, 11:59:17 PM
Or if this is already official and every boxing news outlet are reporting it already, then it could be true and probably no one is going to wait for that April 22 date to hear it from them.

It doesn't mean that even most boxing news websites are reporting it, we can call it official. It was the same on the first negotiation last year, it's almost on all news websites but failed even though the negotiations are publicly active.

Without an official announcement, don't take the chance that it will be pushed.

We should already learn our lesson especially involving Spence lol.
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 08, 2023, 11:59:00 PM
Good point, we've heard that he wanted to go up in weight already, but maybe he was advise by his camp to still campaign here even at the last time to face Inoue. As he is a good name in his resume and he will be really tested on this one. So I will say that it's a good move for him and it's a win win. Even if he losses this fight and the belt, he will proved to the boxing fans that he is not afraid to face anyone in the ring even against the Monster in his own country. And boxers love this kind of challenges and this is a great opportunity for Stephen Fulton to cement his legacy this early in his career, rematch or no rematch.

As far as my memory is concerned, it's already known to everyone that Stephen Fulton will really move up to the Featherweight division. Boxing fans are even waiting for Stephen Fulton's rematch against Brandon Figueroa but this time, in the Featherweight division since for those who didn't know, Fulton and Figueroa face each other at 122 with the former winning the fight. Currently, Figueroa decided to move up to 126 as he recently defeated Mark Magsayo for the interim champion. And Naoya Inoue on the other hand, decided to leave the bantamweight to face a new challenge at the super bantamweight.

EDIT: I want to share this Twitter tweet 5 months ago saying Fulton really decided to move up to 126 without even showing interest to fight his counterpart champion at the 122, Akhmadaliev. But things changed when Inoue enters the scene at 122.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: April 08, 2023, 11:58:47 PM
We can't tell which news or update that may bring enlightenment with what will be the plan. All we can do now is to wait.

This is correct. But we can safely say already that Spence fighting against Keith Thurman is not an option now.

If the April 22 announcement referring to the possible fight between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence is a failed one, I believed that Spence might fight another boxer but not Thurman, and it will be on the original plan of fighting at the 154.

Damn, so much drama involving Spence. He should go with the flow for damn sake.

EDIT: I tried to look for any fresh and recent news about Keith Thurman but it seems that all is silent on his side.
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 08, 2023, 11:58:40 PM
How can the gamblers verify that the actual amount of people are receiving the drop or the bonus, if there are no list to verify it? Let's discuss this.. I am curious if other people also thought about this...  Tongue

I think there's technically no way for users to know that real deal about that.

I'm more of will just rely and depend on the site's reputation and believed they won't do some crappy things about that.

Not unless the site themselves will show a way to at least prove the fairness.
554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Signals vs Own Analysis on: April 07, 2023, 11:59:59 PM
1. No one can generate signals with a 100% accuracy.
2. When the winning percentage is 80%-90%, we have to make use of all the signals to get that percentage.

Impossible to have that 100% accuracy. Trading signals are just meant to give us the possible outcomes that a certain trend will go referring to where the trading indicators result. Really hard to trust a trading signal group claiming a 100% accuracy to their banners just to attract new users to paid money for it.

It's better to work on our own and do the work for ourselves. It will take time to at least understand the market behaviour but we will get there soon.
555  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: one mistake that crypto beginners should be aware of ? on: April 07, 2023, 11:59:54 PM
If you are trading in the market and you are using big fund when we can't even control small funds then that is a big mistake thah needs to be prevented because if when enter the market with a big fund and price goes against us then we might end up losing in a manner we would never want to experience. Trading is hard to achieve but some persons still does not understand the effort pro traders are going through to make sure that theykeep making profits from the market. We need to make sure that we acquired the necessary skills so that we can be able to beat the market.

Regardless if the trading fund is small or not, it's our own money therefore a serious approach should always take place.

Once we decide to put money on something, we have to make sure that all things and preparations are in 100%.

It's ok to make mistakes along the way but as long as we learned from it, that what matters.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 07, 2023, 11:59:09 PM
Yes, it's a huge chance for Donaire to be a champion again or even unify all the belts. I think that's what he is doing now and taking advantage while there are no boxers that can be a threat in the division that can probably face him. Well, if time permits, Nonito will and can surely unify all the belts at 118. For now, let's see him fight because his last fights weren't that flashy anymore.

Not unless Nonito Donaire will lose this fight against Santiago, I will still stick to my personal belief that Donaire can stll dominate the bantamweight division despite his age now that Inoue is now out of the said division. Seeing the current rankings at the 122 across all boxing organizations, it's only Jason Moloney for can give a tough fight to Donaire.

But seems Moloney still recognize Donaire's power and try to delay the time they will face soon by backing on the fight. It will result for them to meet each other at the possible unification fight if they will be both become champion but at that time will happened, Donaire is aging more.
557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: April 07, 2023, 11:59:01 PM
Casimero may do trash talk again but he definitely knows how to proved it up especially when his opponent is not as impressive and famous fighter as he is. Surely, this fight might be an easy win for him, but let’s  not also underestimate the performance of his opponent. He might be an exciting fighter that may give Casimero a good and competitive fight.

I have to agree that even Casimero is a trash-talker, he can backed it on the actual fight. Unlike other boxers that just pure of talks.

I don't see though that this fight will be an easy win to Casimero but at least he should win by 90%.

Casimero faces already a much ranked boxer compare to his upcoming opponent. He should not have a big problem here.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: April 07, 2023, 11:58:51 PM
We can now officially conclude that no Spence-Thurman will happened.

We can also assume now that Spence will not moved up to 154 as per prior plan.

It's been circulating on all over sport news that Spence-Crawford will now officially happened although we have to wait until April 22 for the official announcement and everything,
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 07, 2023, 11:57:07 PM
Meanwhile I have read rumors that SMB big man Fajardo is on the trading block, do you guys have any thought on this rumor?

I have read that too but I'm not buying it as I believed, Fajardo will retire as a Beermen and will never have the same journey on the other Death Five.

Fajardo is a heavily considered already a franchise player, a future Hall of Famer and possibly, the PBA's goat.

I don't see him being traded to other team, I'm sure of that.
560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: April 07, 2023, 11:55:13 PM
Is this final and official though? And they have a date already but no official announcement? and they want to tell the public and  claimed the official announcement is expected at Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia on April 22nd?

I still one of those who still wanted to see this fight despite the initial negotiation ended up dead and all fingers are being pointed to the camp of Crawford as the one who stalled the fight and he has pictured to be ducking Crawford. So if it happens then mad respect for him to accept it.

Don't expect until it was clear in the sky that everything is official.

Although lots of sport news website gives buzz on that news, to avoid being frustrated, we just have to wait for the official announcement. I'm looking that this fight will now happened as people are too sick on these expected fight but will fail at the end.

Intense announcement! let's wait.
