541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Blockchain is transaction is 14 hr long on: December 02, 2016, 09:44:09 PM
No replies or comments by OP, i think his transaction is already confirmed now.

Paying enough fee could help to speed up the confirmation, but this isnt guaranteed everytime. Sometimes you have to wait more than 24 hours, but it get confirmed in the end, don't worry about this.
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Longest bitcoin transaction that you have waited? on: December 02, 2016, 09:36:58 PM
The longest bitcoin transaction that i have waited was around 2 days or so, it was few months ago.

Luckily it was small amount received, and no need for it urgently.
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi reveals himself, what would be of Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2016, 09:33:39 PM
If satoshi reveals himself, I think bitcoin will gain great exposure,  Bitcoin will be the news in almost every news site in the internet.  Aside from that, having gain alot of exposure, people will then try to get in bitcoin and buy demand will be boost.  Probably there will be a temporary bubble because of sudden influx of people to bitcoin.

I don't think so, may be if satoshi reveals himself it will make some buzz for some days or weeks in news and so, but it will not make great exposure to Bitcoin itself, because people interest more about the Bitcoin as different currency with a lot of valuable features, regardless his creator
544  Economy / Services / Re: ★ Coinroll ★ Signature Campaign ★ on: December 02, 2016, 09:29:25 PM
There is this note on the site

"As you know, dev is in exams period. There has been a few failed entries (and for some almost daily for the past month.) Dev has pushed a retry script to process failed entries and increased delay of requests to forum for daily credits script to prevent further issues. Daily cron works, but it seems some variables were mixed in the rushed retry script. Database will be reverted to before the retry script, rerun after fix, and users affected by failed entries will receive some compensation."

This mean everything is ok now and we can withdraw as usual ?
545  Economy / Services / Re: ★ Coinroll ★ Signature Campaign ★ on: December 01, 2016, 05:32:30 PM
Any word from the campaign manager? It s been 2 days since this problem has appeared. We should have some info by now.
I've just added Namworld on skype and explained the situation a bit. It's just a matter of time before he will read it and take further actions to fix this. Normally payments are done manually so they should always notice such extremely high amount.

I hope you let us know if you contacted Namworld about this issue. We need new updates about it soon.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince my dad that Bitcoin is a trustful currency ? on: November 29, 2016, 11:16:54 PM
Here is the story: My dad just found out that I am storing bitcoin and he try to prevent me from using this crypto. This is absolutely the worst situation I have ever had since I started used Bitcoin. I am living in the country which bad guys abuse Bitcoin for illegal activities. Therefore, most of the people here who do not have a proper knowledge about bitcoin believe bitcoin as a stupid, dummy coin or even MLM. My dad is one of them. Any solution to solve this problem ? It is quite hard though because I am still a teenager so it is extremely difficult to persuade him
Thanks in advance

There is some methods to convince your dad that bitcoin is real money and real currency just like fiat, for example you can buy something online using bitcoin and then give this thing to your dad as gift and tell him that it was sold by bitcoin, or if he connect and use internet you can invite him to this forum and show him some real deals made with bitcoin (there is a lot in the marketplace section).
547  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to do escrow service on: November 29, 2016, 11:06:09 PM
You have to make deals with bitcointalk members and to get positive feedbacks from them before doing escrow service.
The escrow is someone known as trustworthy, and that's need time of course.
You are newbie, learn more about the forum first, make some deals and build your trust and with time you can become escrow.
548  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to sell bitcoins for USD on: November 29, 2016, 11:01:43 PM
It would be better to not sell them. However if you decide to sell make sure you do a very strict research on the website you want to sell.

Coinbase, Circle, Bitstamp and Localbitcoins are some of the most well known websites to help you achieve that.

If you want to go somewhere else not long ago a few exchanges popped up in the service discussion  here and the only transaction they did was scam someone even with very low quantity.

Always use well known and famous websites for such thing.

Coinbase, Circle, Bitstamp don't support all countries worldwide, while Localbitcoins still the best because it's open worldwide (or at least for the most countries).
But as you noticed , selling the coins should be the last choice.
549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can people advise of the different bitcoin scams they have encountered on: November 20, 2016, 10:20:41 PM
Obviously the cloud mining sites (or most of them) and the ponzi schemes which appear everyday online should being treated as scams because investing there is really risky
550  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think people is interested in bitcoin if they know it's profitable? on: November 20, 2016, 10:18:32 PM
Yes people would interest more about Bitcoin if they see its really profitable for them. For example we noticed many new users started to use Bitcoin after the last rising of its price recently
551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: November 20, 2016, 10:16:50 PM
I think Bitcoin is already treated as international currency, it's used worldwide and many people make their deals and trades with it. But it still need more advertising to get popularized more
552  Economy / Services / Re: I am paying $50 BTC too everyone who.... on: November 17, 2016, 10:51:36 PM
GUYS, this is far from over!  I have over $10,000 USD I am allocating to promoting my site.

We are still offering $50 btc for everyone who registers and posts 25 HIGH QUALITY threads or 35 HIGH QUALITY reply posts to already created threads! (IF YOU DO MORE, YOU COULD EARN MORE!)

WE are also offering DOUBLE your earnings if you refer someone who also participates!
If you are serious person then try to escrow funds then hope these negative feedback also removed by users which post in your trust rating and you can achieve your target very quickly without any problem

I already offered this but no one stepped up, so I guess I'll just continue to do what I've been doing

We are still offering $50 btc for everyone who registers and posts 25 HIGH QUALITY threads or 35 HIGH QUALITY reply posts to already created threads! (IF YOU DO MORE, YOU COULD EARN MORE!)

That's really shameful, you should be banned from the forum and your shitty thread have to be locked asap.
Trusted members like Yahoo and others confirmed they dont get paid from you , and you still try to scam more people with your idiot lies.
Don't post in his forum take care he is low life scammer !! Review the previous posts from the trusted members !!
553  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Sell something here. on: November 17, 2016, 10:28:31 PM
As selling beauty products is almost specialized to feminal customers, i advice you try another marketplaces like ebay and amazon for example, because there is no many girls using bitcoin right now unluckily.
554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buy bitcoin without id verification on: November 17, 2016, 10:25:18 PM
Buying and selling Bitcoins without id verification is easy, for example you can use the exchange section of this forum to buy/sell your bitcoins easily and you can use escrow to make your deal safe.
555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 17, 2016, 10:22:51 PM
Personally i don't see any real difference between Bitcoin and other currencies (i do believe that Bitcoin is in fact real money). We can use Bitcoin the same way using fiat and other currencies.
556  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: November 17, 2016, 10:20:58 PM
No, i don't agree with the idea of "Bitcoin Bank" because one of the main features of this crypto currency is that's decentralized and anonymous currency, and should still with this features.
557  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: November 14, 2016, 10:33:08 PM
Surely Bitcoin is a good investment now, simply because it's having really promising potetial and it's price is increasing smoothly right now and its expected that it will increase more in the future
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: November 14, 2016, 10:31:42 PM
I use offline wallet and Blockchain, because i think this are the most secured and safest wallets. The exchanger wallets don't secured enough to use them for the long run
559  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is Mining profitable? on: November 14, 2016, 12:17:51 AM
Mining is profitable only if you have very cheap electricity in your country . Otherwise its not profitable method nowadays because you will need to spend a lot of money.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is there to do with bitcoins these days ? on: November 14, 2016, 12:15:54 AM
Simply hold your bitcoins and wait for the price increasing, you can make some earning easily with this method. But if you have good experience about trading altcoins you can try it as well
