Perhaps it would be better to wait... Theres things I can't say, but everybody knows we are working on a new client. We've put our heads together and we want to give the new client features that a cryptonerd would find underwhelming, but the webcam girls we are now consulting with find quite useful and exciting. Anybody can bring out a coin, and beg an exchange to take it and have it listed in a few days. To create a coin that has utility, and therefore value in the real world takes a lot of work and forethought, and time in development.

Last time I posted in this thread we were at 8.5M/h now we are at 12-15 M/h. We are growing not dying, and we are operating in a heavily saturated market space. We aren't in a hurry because being listed on the exchanges doesn't mean we've made it. We can build exchanges if we need them. Creating a great client and a buzz in the industry leading to real world adoption means we've made it.

I completely agree, I'm involved with a coin that was premined and then quickly abandoned by the "developer" when it didn't hit an exchange. But it does have potential and there been hard work put into it by a community, nobody is rushing it's development for profit but focusing on creating some quality, and it's network is growing... If anybody does different well, good luck to them.. 

If you hold out past the inevitable dump after it hits the exchanges, and the price then rises as websites start using it (and there are a lot of small sites out there that would) and then it gets to just .10$ U.S that would mean you made...

well I should start using words like "microtransactional business model", but to cut to the chase if it takes off, it will probably be accepted by more sites than any other crypto.. If you buy a pizza, it has to come to you, or you to it.. why not use cash? or EFTPOS..the Adult industry is peddling info, which is transmitted easy over the net.. , It might be worth haveing a few stacked away..

Wow, I'm impressed with you guys... I though we had all the diehard miners, but you guys are really hardcore.

Especially since the developer hasn't been online since May and only supported the coin for two weeks.

We had the same problem with "Sexcoin" but the community has picked up the ball and we are going ahead in leaps and bounds. Most of our miners are hoarding coins and we are pushing 14M/h at a difficulty of 0.18.
so there coins to be had mining solo, and we give bonuses out to miners using the officail p2pool, which makes it a favorite with smaller miners. we have two real sites that accept SXC. Not casinos etc.

And we aren't even on an exchange. We have more websites lined up to go when that happens but right now it's like a public premine.

I suggest you get together and put together a long term plan and seriously develop royalcoin, but I hope you see the opportunity and come on over to mine SXC. You've got an attitude we admire..

We have two sites already, and a rock solid commitment that three more will be added as soon as it hits an exchange. The commericial side of things is Fendle's department and I think he could give a clearer answer on what the commercial prospects are.

One thing you should be aware of is that the current development team is not the original Dev. The original client was substandard which retarded the coins development. This team has a long term ,two stage stragedy to address this, and we are nearing the end of the stabilisation phase which ends when the last problem, the desync issue is ironed out.

We do have some understandings (not rock solid commitments), that will come into play when the stabilisation phase ends, however it would be prudent of the Dev's not to announce or depend on these understandings until they eventuate.

Hope that gives you a clear idea of where we are, and where we are heading, and how committed we are to this coin. 

Sigh my 5970 died.. It ran on one gpu for a long while then it started running on both for a several hours and then nothing. Just spent some time trying to resurrect it, and then went through my pile of old cards and found a replacement.. It was second hand, and it was one of the first cards I got, so it wasn't a surprise .. I remember how excited I was when I got it...Kinda sad that it died ..

If you look at the first post of this thread you'll find the tokens, just try them until you find one that works on the lavapit, I don't think they'd all be used but if they are just PM Lavajumper and he'll set one up for you.. and its lavapit.lavajumper.com for the pool since it been moved to a datacenter.. the p2pool hasn't changed..

Well the bonus is back for the p2pool, we talked about it and thought everybody was happy with the way it was running so why change now?

I'm pushing the boat out on the lavapit at night.. warming it up with everthing I got including a 5970 with a sick gpu..I used to keep just one rig on but the hashrate and difficulty is higher than it used to be..during the day I'm having to lower intensity to stop overheating.. sorry if it's a problem for others, but in a few more days I'll have to cut down to just one rig, to reduce electricity costs and that will probably be cut down to night only because of heat.. usually I mine cold months only... my days of getting SXC are drawing to a close..
