I am getting bonus blocks paid-out. Everything seems to work fine for me. The only thing I still wish to see is this back on the exchanges. Even if it is a private exchange, setup by some of the people using the coin for selling goods.
Someone should still talk to the owners of all the sites listed on sharks-lagoon and the other flash-games and virtual sites. Not to mention the many, many popular Anime, Manga, Hentai, and other high-demand sites. They are constantly looking for other forms of collection that is not related to credit-cards, pay-pal, or e-gold.

Well, then, he must have found the fix himself, good on him! or maybe lava sent him the fix, doesn't matter as long as it works. Lava's close to releasing his fairly paying pushpool frontend on github, so that means anybody will be able to put up a push pool without a hassle. I think he's doing some compiling so he can run the lavapit on that new server in the datacenter for its beta... I wasn't aware that is was ever on the exchanges,or that it had been dropped ? Which one ? With all the work thats been done, maybe we can get it relisted.. Though not Crypsty... SXC deserves better.. Miners, I ve been watching the hashrate over the last few days.. Remember I said we would enjoy making out like bandits with low difficulty , low hash and no spikes.. well its been climbing steadily and it's at 14 M/h now... so if your wondering why your SXC booty is so low (Saying that can get you slapped in a nightclub) , then now you know why... We are on the radar.. Do I get tired of being wrong ? Nah..It's a gift And Kesley is a winner ..again..he's good, damn good...

I'm surprised, there is no fedora- or openSUSE-build in your homepage.

I'm surprised, there is no fedora- or openSUSE-build in your homepage.
Joe, Lynos is working his magic on a "Miners Site", My vision for it is downloads for all the clients, in fact there is one for Red Hat in the works... The MMCFE front end we used for the "Lavapit" didn't payout properly, it skipped blocks and dumped the proceeds to the pool op. It probably wasn't built for faster alts . I said it was "Hard to spot", but we are honest and Lava wants to post the results on Github, so anybody who wants to run an honest pool can. That would be good to have on the site as well. Also a "p2pool pack" that has everything you need to run a p2pool on a windows box, with step by step instuctions, and links to mining software and tutorials. Your contributions will definately be there.. Fendle has put up the "merchants" site... that will have all the stuff that merchants want, widgets, plugins, marketing graphics, etc. Basically the non-cryptojunky stuff. We really appreciate the work you did on the fedora build, and I would have liked to move it into the sexcoin repository on github so all the clients could be found in one place, but I didn't want you to feel we were taking credit for your great work..

Thank you very much. You're free to do it. No problem - it's github.

One thing I would like is a little feedback on how we are doing as devs..
I noticed Gr33k started a push pool for "spots" and it went straight to the OP of their thread..
I checked the new sexcoin pool out before I even considered endorsing it, Gr33k honestly admitted it didn't pay out bonus blocks, and lava is going to help him with that when he can...
I think it's in the best interests of the coin to make sure of things and to look after our miners who are loyal.. I'd rather a reputation for honesty and thoroughness ... even if it means less pools at this point..
How does everybody else feel in general ?
Thank you LittleDigger - that is definitely accurate - I do not know how to implement the bonus block finding, nor have the code savy to design this in to the software, and have stated such. I CAN however apply updates to the services and patches as needed. I'm not a n00b by far, but I am not a developer either I am savy with compiling stuff from source, and using git repos to upgrade, and svn's...but again - I'm limited to the abilities of a sys admin, and a code enjoying enthusiast. I honestly don't know when we get a bonus block other than looking at the server's wallet balance and seeing more coins in there than blocks found, fees, and donations. I have been thinking of creating maybe a faucet for SXC and dumping them in there for everyone to benefit. I've no intention of stealing these coins by any means. It's simply due to no open source software currently being available (that I'm aware of) that puts in to account the bonus blocks, and how to handle their distribution other than just dump it in to the pool op's liquid assets. Also - given the low value of the SXC - I didn't think it would be a huge issue in the present...but more so when/if the coin gains value. Imagine getting bonus blocks for BitCoin... That would definitely need to be shared amongst the miners as a "thank you"! Manually dispersing these is possible - however not the easiest solution given the bonus blocks are not kept track of in the transaction logs (thus the math is manual - and I hate doing math manually LOL!) Please don't hesitate to email me @ gr33k420 - at - gmail.com if you have info or software on this. I'm happy to do what I can to implement and test it for the benefit of the community

Anyone want to take it out for a spin? 0% fees during official beta! lavapit.lavajumper.com stratum+tcp://lavapit.lavajumper.com:3693 Here's what's going on. The 'LavaPit' is up on the new server in a Datacenter and its ready to be beta-beaten. During the beta, as always, mine at your own risk, but I will be as fair as I can in the event of something going wrong. That being said, its proven to be quite stable. When it comes out of beta, I'm probably going to change the addess. Once again, I'm picturing beta ending after 2 weeks without incident. I want you to know, I'm serious as a heart attack about this installation. I've done a mountain of work porting this to Postgres and getting it so that its fair, stable, responsive, accurate, durable and precise. I want to thank everyone for the hashpower you risked on the p2pool. Digger and I have no intention of bringing it down, mine on it if that is your preference. I've actually grown fond of it myself I need feedback. If you are mining on it, please provide opinions, suggestions, observations and complaints! When you register you need a 'token' to create an account. I'm posting ten 'tokens' for the first ten people to sign up. Tokens are a 'one use' so if someone grabs it first, try another. I think it would be good if you could post here that you 'claimed' the token so people aren't needing to run through a bunch of trials until they hit a valid token. Once these tokens are gone, send me a PM to get a valid one. Please use a valid email address when signing up. Its used for down worker notifications and password resets. jimmybob coinsplat
