541  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: TORwallet a scam? on: September 19, 2012, 10:32:59 PM
THIS MY FRIENDS... is why I myseldo not use darknet services that I do not build myself. fYou do realize that the TORwallet idea can be pretty much setup by a total noob without much money into the project right?  It's not PhD level computeing.

With that in mind maybe wait for the little boy to.get done with football practice and his homework. also remember his mommy and daddy might have grounded him from the family computer. Give it a few days more then scream in the scammer boards about it.. I'm being dead serious here.

Before last month.. I actually setup my own personal online wallet on our beloved darknet with the help of a .bit domain. I'm the type of asshole who breaks his phones in idiot ways, doesn't remember to pack a charger for my laptop. And in some cases am unable to carry that much shit with me.

So to cover my ass and I took a gamble. believe me with a little effort you can build something like this that is private enough to throw some petty coin in for those emergency payment/wants/needs.

Anyway like I always say. I hope this isn't a shady deal for the individuals who use this controled service. it always in my eyes adds up to being yet one more blow to the dome of this money experiment. Best wishes to you

542  Bitcoin / Project Development / [DEV]BMF 0.1 [A RaspPi Project] on: September 18, 2012, 10:58:24 PM

So a few weeks back I posted that my local Linux club would be talking crypto currency. Sure enough it's been an obsession since. Members have been setting up .bit sites with the namecoin I gave them as a means to demonstrate. Some of these sites I'm sure will wind up being presented here. Durning the whole lecture. The idea of a RaspPi "Hardwallet" was spoken by me... Sure enough  I was challenged to a new project that I will gladly take on.

I've been taken by this little device... The fact that I had 90% of the shit needed to fire it up as an operational computer just brought me to a techno orgasm I haven't felt since i pressed the power button on my NES back in 1988. Seriously who doesn't have the means to cheaply obtain a USB keyboard and mouse for under $15 or even free.. RCA Video cable for ziltch.. Network cable that you can pretty much go down to any phone company and obtain free.. or a micro USB cable and charger adapter for the wall that hey... Most if not all devices use anymore(share the love). And of course the SD card. I have countless SDHC cards between myself and my wife's hardware... It's insane.... Recycle Recycle... It still works!

If you have to buy all that shit you can do so along with the pi for under $75

Now, that does bring us to the OS itself. I've seen many linux distros product by members.. Each one carries something useful not found in the next one. Lets face it to each linux user is own methods. Some are just basic and others are completely fucking bloated to the point it's really a pain in the ass to do anything with them... but again to each is own.

What I'm looking to do is create something for the Pi that can be totally user configured.. a Pre Loader inn a sence. If a user wants to store more then just his bitcoin he or she could during the creation of the SDcard setup decide on alt chain wallets to place within the applications of his or her distro. long with address generation tools. check generation tools. and all the rest of the horseshit we all know and love to hate/use.

The same go's for security tools, along with interweb tools such as tor browser, OpenVPN(or the like) etc.. All options the user can decided before actually placing the card in and  booting the Pi... I'm sure you get the idea.

Here is where I shrug because one way or ANOTHER something will be bloated even if it's the installer.Exactly what we  as unique *nix Os users
can agree to dis agree upon. For you pi owners out there what do you find so far works and what doesn't? May I steal a moment of your time to display some answers here for the "Bad Mother Fucker" project.?

544  Economy / Services / [WTS] Signature Space - Avatar Space Etc on: September 17, 2012, 03:29:11 PM

 Hello community,

I'm looking to fill a small need of mine of 2.5 BTC. Hopefully by the end of the week. At the same time I'm not looking to fight a loan both by validating myself and paying back an ungodly interest rate. One would think with two jobs as well as the resources to make money passively I could obtain this rather easy. But I cannot my family as welcomed a new heart and soul into the fold so offline assets are something I just cannot afford to pump into my hobbies. Long drawn out story short I'm looking to sell my signature space, avatar and well as the little blurb space I can fit underneath the avatar for the price of 2.5BTC for 12 months.  I'm also willing to place an advert within the blog posts of my website http://darktongue.com (a PR1 site currently) for a period of 6 months.

The website is registered until 2014 and has paid it's annual dues for hosting for the next year as of 9/8/12. I do not engage in activities that would ever warrant even the idea of losing my privileges on this message board and can tell with with much assurance on my part that I won't be an inactive poster for the duration of a year.

I'm also willing to break this up among multiple individuals if one person wishes to use my space but not it's entirety. Please feel free to PM. If we have a deal I will make the changes before payment is sent on your end.

Many thanks in advance as anyone willing to do this would be a tremendous help to me right now.

So I' figured I'd announce the birth of my first son is upon the world. I'm delighted and excited for this new life within my own circle. What's really neat is his birth is going to be on the same-day as my own birthday! Will update.... For those that pray... Please do Smiley

Okay I've been helping folks off and on all afternoon with the config files to get things moving. It sucks when all that's wrong with something is a simple config oversight. This should help anyone looking to get that fixed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92H3GrdGCas&feature=youtu.be. I ddid this because like most people I dislike searching for solutions amidst hundreds of threaded garbage. Hope it helps anyone who's stuck...

Portnoy, some asshole won't give me ,.01 BTC because I don't qualify as a n00b :/. The nerve of these bastards not wanting to give me teh monneh... Seriously you don't know me... and hardly anyone here does. I'm a n00b..... :O. It's all because I'm white isn't it? Sad
549  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Free Bitcoins Listing ( *NEW* Coinbase promo give-away ) on: August 14, 2012, 10:35:26 PM
I withdrew my 0.10.. I did not figure it would show up. it's confirming now. The rest of my money and record of it.. other then an email from the system saying it was to be credited back. is still vamos. No word from them at all... Looks like we could be screaming an "S" word if this keeps up.
550  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Free Bitcoins Listing ( *NEW* Coinbase promo give-away ) on: August 14, 2012, 04:10:38 AM

I have had a major issue with Coinbase today.. I was able to rack up 1.30BTC yesterday. They had the unconfirmed issue and emailed me that all the coins would be back in my account. only 0.10 made it back and my transaction history was wiped. I posted a ticket.. an admin replied but then deleted his reply so I don't know what to think right now. Most def not pimping it until I know more.

They also said something about leveling things out within 24 hours so.. Tomarrow I'll update everyone on my end.
551  Economy / Services / Re: Join the Bitcoin-Mafia *Freebtc-Game* on: August 12, 2012, 10:06:18 PM

I'm aware of the cost, I'm also aware of ways to insure cheating is not a common factor in such  website ventures. If you are looking to only have a user click once or twice a day.. Then script it that way. Block proxys.. Hell make it count down like the rest of the faucets do..

The reason I'm calling your bullshit, is during all this you have done nothing to improve the shituation Smiley. Also you wrote the rules as this unfolded. Perhaps a little code tweak and some actual effort will reward this project with a better light upon it. However personally based on how quickly you run from trolls I don't think you can handle it.

I'm done here..
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Print your own bitcoin bills - print.printcoins.com on: August 12, 2012, 06:47:37 PM
Okay, This is pretty damn neat. I believe this will stop the whole "Pay me for paper money" bullshit I've seen flying around as of late. HOWEVER. I'd rather be able to take this offline and print my bitcoin check that way.. I don't think he's going to blatantly scam you if he's got the source code up. I've downloaded it and will be taking a peek here tonight. I'm sure someone will beat me to it.

Not all users however are going to know how to setup a private web server. So may I suggest that a later build be geared for offline use?
553  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dare you to stare into the eyes of a bitcoin criminal.... on: August 12, 2012, 12:23:56 AM
Pointless thread... You dare me? If he's an asshole all that's going to happen is.................... I'm still going to think he's an asshole. Opps sorry, no shock here. You are not a hero. Nor are you Matlock's PI. How about you post a photo of yourself so I can flame bait the shit out of you
554  Economy / Services / Re: Join the Bitcoin-Mafia *Freebtc-Game* on: August 11, 2012, 11:54:27 PM

I don't fucking believe you for shit... Actually I'd believe a steaming pile of shit before you.. A pile of shit at least smells like what it is. You can't sit and say EVERY member you have is cheating you. And so far that is what you are saying. Also the payout level is screaming scam... Most sites offering "Free Bitcoin For Action" will pay in mBTC. You obviously do not have the funding to do this. HUGE red flag for me.

I sweetys,

I am a 29 year old male from the Mormon Vatican USA. I recently found out your dog had cancer and left me of all people with a large some of money. Sadly this money is on the planet UR-A-Balsucka. I need an investment of 0.5BTC. In order to fule the rocketship and get to this remote and distant planet.. I own a sonic screwdriver so I'm to assume this mission will reap the rewards. As a measure of good faith...  I will send 10BBQ's to a BBQ address per investor. All I need is two people to invest... Remember your dog in all this.. He was a good companion and really really really wanted you to take the go ahead on this.. You can look at it and smile knowing you got fucked with something to show for it.. Use donation address for BTC below. I can send you erotic pics of me if this entices you to do the right thing and invest.

 I love you guys,

   Your Love,

11 Posts and you have almost been a year on this? I know I sound like an ass when I say this but seriously. You think BBQ Coin II: Judgement Day is really worth it? You might stand to make more money by putting this effort into an existing project. No one is asking the right questions here. Probably because like i said BBQ2 J-Day.
557  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] The Darktongue Quarterly Paperback Editions on: August 10, 2012, 06:31:39 PM
LOL yeah, like most things i tend to post extremely tired and do not copy edit :\. Lazy is not a reflection of my character.. LMAO

No digital copy, reason being we are looking at the whole project from a real "old school" standpoint. The quarterly publishing's in the 1800's to early 1900's, gave a whole lot of bang for a few bucks(cents).

I'm sure individuals will want to call the Ghost Busters at this point. But you would be surprised. The printed work is not so dead. It IS a lost art. You can set your kindle or tablet on the coffee table with the ebook open. but the screen will turn black. A book is noticed. It's played with. Coffee cups, scotch glasses, ashtrays, dirty bombs and food items... are at times placed on them. Coffee table character is developed. And hell it might even be stolen for awhile. Smiley Only to come back with great conversation in hand

And believe me, well.. you won't but please try.. It's readable Smiley. I

Enter the world as written by The Darktongue's of Helper, Utah. The concept of The Darktongue is to immerse Readers into an eclectic world of fiction not unlike our real world. Then become re transformed by what is produced in words or images. Ether/Or you are apart of something major. This edition is made up of the best of the best in our thrilling and suspenseful fictional tales.

The Stories In This Edition Are
    Time And Time Again
    Waiting Room Trapped In Time
    The Old Bombay
    Waiting On Ashes
    A Minor Spirit Problem
    From The Far Out World
    Neon Ocean Nobodys
    The Delicious and the Lucky
    The Graveyard Tenet
    and Sundowners

The reader may gather more then just thrills and chills form these tales. A little romance a little wicked sexual overtone and some potential MEME comedic candor might bleed through.

All it takes is a little imagination!

Here is a review we received of  the readers experience:

This book directs its focus to the young-minded thrill-seeker who loves a mentally stimulating piece of work. Each story is packed with chilling insight into the far depths of the human mind, and each explains a different version of a twisted Reality.

The stories begin by starting in the middle and relinquishing just enough control to draw The Reader into the mind frame of the Narrator. The details are embedded in an ocean of mind-altering concepts: slow and steady reading is strongly recommended.

The authors have proven to be very talented writers in the area of abstract concepts; it seems as though they, themselves, are unsure where Reality stops & Fiction starts. It's quite compelling to read their interpretations of this "Reality vs. Fiction". These authors seem determined to make The Reader question their own "Reality". - LindyB

560  Bitcoin / Project Development / [IDEA/In DEV] Offline Bitcoin Introduction Class on: August 06, 2012, 02:46:45 AM

Hello everyone, I had an interesting meeting tonight at a local Linux User – Meetup Group. This group consists of about 34 active members who meet for coffee ever other Sunday. Usually we cannot agree to even disagree about a topic of conversation . However by the end of the meeting I had planted the seed for an actual base of topic for the next few months or even years to come. That of-course is our precious  crypto currencies.

I spent out 30 minuets in a state of total happiness. I like talking Bitcoin and it's spinoffs. The drama that comes with it as well as the rewards. As any good geek would they all pretty much listened. Further eyes and ear perking happened when I talked Namecoin however. One member expressed how he would like to own a portion of the Darknet in the form of his own private email provider.. Next thing you know the whole group is down for it.

Next thing you know I'm shooting out links for the clients as well as everything else required to get started. Next thing you know our fearless club leader decides to place me in charge of a “Class” next week to help members get started, purchase and look at other methods of generating coin.

Now I don't know about you... some of you may already teach others offline the in's and out's of bitcoin often I don't know. But the area of the Western US I live in is rural. I figure if I pull this off the community has 30 more potential supporters to fight against the governments if they choose to start raising hell about it.

I also see potential for (Waynes Word Effect) they tell two friends and they tell two friends.. and so on... and so on.

I have about two weeks from tonight to prepare for this. I plan on as much “Coursework” as I can into a 45 minuet time block as I can.. I'm thinking however with all the basic security talk that will be needed to be discussed the course may need to be broken into 3 45minuet classes in the case of this group.

I figure a class would need a History to date on the who what where when and why the fuck for. Further the difference in clients, online services and the risks of all of them. The course would also discuss safe internet practice and remind individuals to use common sense(This alone being invaluable if they listen. Securing of wallets is a must do.

I think the fun part will be the transaction on the NMC to each individual. I remember the first time I received something through the blockhain. Yes for me it was memorable...I figure while that is happening one could discuss the merchant end of things, how developers benefit from it and maybe if it's not to overwhelming at that time talk about mining bitcoin

On my way home I had the idea to give at the very least 5NMC to each member in attendance of this class. That would give them plenty of starting power for one or more projects or if they choose to stick with the private personal email, options for alternate @ABC.bit.

By the end of the first night every member will be walking away with .bit domain names. It will be up to them (Homework in a sence) to have something to show and tell at the next meeting.

On hand I have enough NMC to gift 6 of the members a 5NMC starter package. I still need enough for 24 members. I plan on investing at-least 4 hours a night to compiling coursework as well as presentation visuals and so on. The end result should be something the pupil enjoys.

I plan on having a handout for each person to take home that will cover a few extras. Mostly what Bitcoin is not ie: A Game, A Get Rich Quick Scam etc. Once finished and the class is given I will report how it went as well as upload the raw documents for others to do the same if they so have the opportunity.

Having said all this I do need some NMC aid. At this current time I have an atypical sob story of why I'm broke in the digital currency world. Why  I can say is that if you do decide to support something like this you would be paid back if you so required. I'm looking at getting my miner hardware back online within the next 3 weeks. My wife and I our having a baby and he is due on sept 24th. I could have this paid off by Sept 13th.

If you so do decide to donate without payback I can offer the following to anyone in private that so wishes to verify that this domain credit is not being used for some shady intention.

Individual Member Emails
A Phone Number For The Club President
A Phone Number to the coffee shop
A list of the .bits registered by the end of the meeting night.

Also verbal or written advice and how-to is welcome for the course. If you have any suggestions of what should be covered and post them. I will insure at the very least a username is placed in the copy.

I will keep the community posted

 - Darktongue
