541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think this BEAR MARKET will LAST? on: April 03, 2019, 04:48:05 PM
Bull market will be confirmed when Bitcoin has passed previous ATH (20,000+).

Until then, be careful, many expect a bull trap and further downside to new lows.

Lol, you mean to say we need to touch ATH again to confirmed that we are in a bull run? I beg to disagree though. Bull run happens when we see the price just going up every time. But I would tend to agree that as investors we really need to be cautious at our every investment. If this is a bull trap then just hold on it and then buy at lower lows and continue to accumulate.

I concur the idea of being cautious in every investment we take , because no one can forsee the outcome of the market and when it will desist from bearishness. As the market struggled this long bear market we have to hold on and keep it till the value of BTC pump up consistently.

Lol. I chuckled after reading that we have to hit another ath to confirm a bull run. If that's the case we may never ne able to get another bull run for years. I think bear market has been cleared at this point and we're waiting for a change in trend, which is at the moment, seem to be what's happening. And though it may take a lot less than another ath to say that there's a bull run already, we don't have one at the moment.
542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: minimise possible losses in trading on: April 03, 2019, 04:16:18 PM
I guess we can do this by working with more reliable sources and not jumping into every opportunity. It is not possible to reduce the loss completely, for that we should not trade for it. But, with smarter risks, we can reduce the loss a little.
Thats right, that's what we can do, with reduce risk in trading. You can do that by enriching yourself about the science of trade, strategy, and honing your skills. if you want minimize losses, what you can do is cutlose or try to recover by trading on another coin

HODL. For at least a year. If you're that much afraid of losses, then just put your money in a well researched coin and leave it there for a long time. Day trading is not for people who are afraid of getting losses. Though the longer you're active in trading the more you'll be ablenti cut on these losses by accumulating skills to better read the market. Actively trading would be your long term solution if you're determined to excel in day trading.
543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This PROVES market manipulation, 20,000 BTC order at same time on 3 exchanges! on: April 03, 2019, 04:08:07 PM
What's so surprising about that? Market manipulation has been a common occurrence for the longest time in this market. It's been happening for the longet time and good traders know how to read these manipulations and ride the movements. The big players may have gotten bored with the market state and decided to spice things up a little bit.
544  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market is back? on: April 03, 2019, 04:04:25 PM
Bitcoin pump to $4,919 and back down to $4,671 at the mean time.
Why is this pump happening? Bull market is back?

Price: $4,671
24h high / low: [$4,919.39 / $4,124.31]
Market Cap: $82,303,956,910
24h Volume: $17,479,334,170

for a bull run the continuity is important because the stability will only make the coin to be more valuable every time so if you are thinking it is the starting of bull Run it needs to be more stable otherwise it will reduces very soon.

Exactly. That's why i'm not too excited about this current situation. It did fan hopes though that we're on our way to a bull market but if i were those people, i'd lie low on my expectations. I'll take it on a day to day basis. If we get to stabilize above the 5k mark then probably we can hope for more positive movements.
545  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Here we are! lovers' of bullish trend. on: April 03, 2019, 03:59:38 PM
You could think of it as a bullish trend but i'm not going to bite that. I've seen too many bull traps to determine a real bull run from one that can't get sustained. It made a lot of noise yesterday when btc suddenly pumped to above 5k and crypto trading groups suddenly came alive.
546  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any reason to day trade anything other than bitcoin? on: April 03, 2019, 03:56:15 PM
Serious discussion please.

Obviously some alts can have significantly bigger gains than bitcoin when it comes to long term and bull runs, the last bull run from 6k to 10k for example, sure bitcoin was strong, almost a 2x but some of the top alt coins did more than a 2x even 3x. However that's only long term.

Short term I don't see any reason to trade anything other than bitcoin, especially knowing how little volume some of the other coins have, even top 10 alt coins, for example stellar only has 33m volume. So my question is, what's the point of trading stellar, for example, instead of bitcoin? You know that even if you are a whale and trade a lot, you wont be moving the market as much, if you have 1m and you trade stellar, that's already huge and we all know the 33m volume is probably not even real, a lot of it from bots trading.

It's also much easier to follow bitcoin because, well, the whole market follows bitcoin. Bitcoin dictates where the market goes.
my opinion is if a person doing a trading he will need the money every day on the profit also was important for him so he need to day trade every time and get the profit again and again then only the income is convenient at the end in a month so I think it depends on every person who are in different situation.

There's a whole lot of reasons as why you shouldn't day trade btc. Bigger volume but less movement compared to other alts.  Before btc moved up by almost 1k yesterday, it was moving sleepily sideways. Not really the perfect situation if you're going to day trade since your entry point would almost be the same as your selling point. It would be such a waste of time.
547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHY THE SUDDEN DUMP WITHOUT ANY MAJOR NEWS? on: April 03, 2019, 03:51:09 PM
Since the bull run in 2017, many major traders have been very active in the market, they have always been trying to manipulate it in their own benefits. Specially newbies are getting caught in their trap, as they are not well-experienced.

I wouldn't say manipulate but those speculators are trying to short bitcoin day by day that's why we didn't see a jump on the price. But seeing the price spike in the last 2 days? I wouldn't say that they can easily manipulate it as they used to be because a lot has been jumping on the bandwagon and doesn't want to miss the boat again.

As for those newbies being trap, I'm sure they have learned their experience in a hard way and and at a cost  as well.

Yeah we're not getting any sudden drastic dumps anymore aside from the usual corrections. It's possible that majority of the weak hands have been flushed out of the market already and those that were left are those who understood the movements better. But manipulation of course can't be discounted at any time. Even if we don't admit it, the market can and would probably be manipulated by some people with the means to do it.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 03, 2019, 03:42:29 PM
This season, there's chance that James Harden will be once again proclaim as MVP, he had less off nights than Giannis and he scores a lot.

Giannis has played in 70 games this season, Harden has 74.

I would like to ask all James Harden's MVP cheerleaders out there, where was he the first two and half months of the season? The time when Rockets where a bottom 4 team in the west. That's quite a lot of "off nights".

No matter how you look at it, James Harden deserves to be called for an mvp award this season. So asking you, where would the rockets be right now if Harden did not play like he used to play right now. I can say he is phenomenal this season eventhough he is a ball hugger.

It's given that he scores a lot. With all the chances he gets each and every game, and with his undeniable scoring talent, he's bound to get those points day in and day out. But i'd give my vote to giannis here. The guy lets the game come to him. And he could be a very dominant player the longer the season goes. And though it's just between these two for now, i'd also like to toss in paul george who's having a great season as well. That's even with a statpadder like russ as the alternate option for his team.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did today bullish trend affect gambling! on: April 03, 2019, 03:37:08 PM
Haven't adjusted my bet. But I'm sure I will play with less bitcoin and just hold because we might be in a bull run for all we know.

Dogecoin will be a good alternatives though. I'm not really sure if you guys have been using it. But it's one of the best option, at least in my opinion.

For gambling yes. Doge has been one of the most popular alternatives for btc since a lot of gambling sites also accept that parody coin. Though i haven't adjusted any betting amounts i had because of the price hike. It doesn't have that much difference in my small bets yet. I don't usually make big bets so changes in btc value doesn't affect me the way it affects frequent gamblers.
550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm Sick of "100% Guaranteed Win!" - My strategy gives you an edge at bitcasinos on: April 03, 2019, 03:33:08 PM
We are already sick on seeing threads like these saying that they have some working strategy that make them some money on playing.
You are just lucky to win that game and as said this wont be constant and later on you will surely experience loss.Just cherish those winnings and congratulations with that.

Lol. His strategy is not much different from all those other people in the forums saying the same thing. I don't buy that anymore and it's likely that others won't as well. I doubt you'll get anybody to get interested in how you do your strategy ewith an edge 😆
551  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC now above $5k, seem like its not just a pump? on: April 03, 2019, 01:48:15 PM
It seems we're going to seriously go for that 5k mark again and this time i hope it gets sustained. I'm watching the price from binance and it did go to 5030 at one point. A few more bucks at the moment and we're back at 5k. If it becomes our new support line then the second quarter of this year would be quite promising. The entire 2019 could be promising.
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SENDING BITCOIN WITHOUT THE INTERNET on: April 03, 2019, 01:27:52 PM
I do not see it from that point of view, you may have confused some concepts, because until now to make transactions with Bitcoin you need to have Internet service, and this turns out to be a limitation for sites where it fails or simply does not exist. For now we will continue to depend on the Internet service to operate with cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin also will be having transaction without internet, yes, that is possible there's a wallet that can transact bitcoin without internet but I think that is temporary, it still needs internet to have an update on blockchain transaction. As I read the article "Samourai wallet" can do that thing. Please refer to this link to read more regarding offline wallet. https://usethebitcoin.com/sending-bitcoin-without-internet-or-satellite-is-now-a-reality/

Still trying to figure out how that will work since blockchain itself and mining is internet based. But i'm also intetrested why there are people who really believes it's possible. How? Probably a transfer from one hardware wallet to another through a link cable between two devices?
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big is the role of the government in the development of Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2019, 01:23:16 PM
In my opinion, the government plays a very important role in the development of Bitcoin in a country. For example, a government announces that it will accept Bitcoin in that country, so I'm sure the development of Bitcoin in that country will be very fast!
BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC
What do you think, the Government or the community who play an important role in the development of Bitcoin?!

It's basically the same. The community provides the demand for btc and it's growth will basically depend on mass adoption. And it's survival also banks on the government either showing support of just indifference towards bitcoin. You can't have growth while the people ate afraid to use btc because of crackdowns and illegalization.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about a Bitcoin government ? on: April 03, 2019, 01:20:25 PM
~snip~
The fact that the creator himself has moved away from bitcoin tells us quite enough in which direction bitcoin shoud go, and that is decentralization. If only one man make decisions things would be completely different probably in a negative sense. In the case of some bitcoin government the problems would become even bigger, not just because of centralization but also because of the way how those people should be elected.

Real power of bitcoin is in people, millions of voices speak as one (not as Borg), and facts that it is very hard or impossible to silence them all. Some imaginary government which would represent bitcoin would be subject to various manipulations and influences of actual governments, this is not something we want.

I agree. And how do we suppose to elect a governing body for something ungovernable like btc? Seems impissible and it definitely would not get any support if some group manage to come up with an idea. It's one thing that banks dislike about crypto. It gives power of individual holders over their own money. Having a governing body over that feature contradicts what btc is supposed to be.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON - is Justin Sun all hype? on: April 03, 2019, 01:15:06 PM
Probably, probably not. I've also followed the tron project and i think they did put in some effort in building a seriously competitive team. And with the acquisition of btt, you know justin sun isn't just trolling around. I made quite a lot already riding tron's volatility and i'd say it's one of my favorite trading coins. Btt may have more us and value in the future but i don't think tron would be irrelevant at all.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIT COINS WILL ALWAYS DISAPPOINT on: April 03, 2019, 01:10:10 PM
Working with shit coins is always risky. Because it’s more likely you’ll lose everything. But there is also a small percentage that all the same you will manage to earn something.

Lol. There's a reason why they're called shitcoins. I don't understand why there are even people who gamble with these coins with the hooes of someday they'll get value. These coins are like parodies to btc and all other legitimate alts. Bogus tokens made by greedy scammers who don't really have any real vision for their projects.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future for cryptocurrency? on: April 03, 2019, 01:07:18 PM
I am sure that in the future, cryptocurrency will not only pay off, but it will leak into our lives and into some other areas. It will be used everywhere, Because this fall is a convenient technology.

We're already seeing glimpses of that even now. Perhaps not everyone sees the advantages of crypto blockchain because we're still so used to the current financial system but just like how email changed the way we communicate in long distances, crypto will make doing transactions, all kinds of transactions, easier and faster.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how you feel at this point(currently) on: April 03, 2019, 10:36:53 AM
i am feel , this stable point keep for some time, after 2-5 years we can expect huge bull run. near future i am not expecting and i dont think bull run comes.
now no new investment coming.

my portfolio now below 50$ , i am anyway ok. i know this will be rise ...

how about your thought

https://www.bitcoin-socialclub.com/
yes I also believe my portfolio will also rise. because bitcoin has shown an upward trend and followed all altcoins this week in green. this is a good start. I am very happy. and hopefully this situation continues until the bull comes. many predict the bull run to come in 2020. hopefully.

Yes, hopefully it will happen in 2020, prices will be like last 2017, but this also shows a recovery from last month's decline.

I don't really feel anything special at this point. We're still way below where we were last 2017. But the good thing is, the market is starting to improve steadily. Not a forced pump or a hyped fomo, but a slow, steady move upwards. That's good news for everyone especially for those people who took a blow when btc dropped from 6.5k last december to 3k.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning: This John McAfee-Pumped Cryptocurrency Has Major Red Flags on: April 03, 2019, 10:34:01 AM
By CCN.com: Another day, another John McAfee tweet pumping a cryptocurrency project that has alarming red flags. The latest dubious crypto token is called Apollo, an “all-in-one” cryptocurrency with supposedly-private transactions.

CRYPTO DEVELOPERS CALL OUT MCAFEE-LINKED APOLLO
However, according to crypto development firm Jelurida, Apollo’s so-called privacy features promoted are not so private after all.

https://www.ccn.com/warning-this-john-mcafee-pumped-cryptocurrency-has-major-red-flags

I don't think many people are taking his tweets seriously anymore. There was a time when i would jump into any coin that john mcafee promotes but now, he's probably just making money from his followers. Though i still think he has good vision for bitcoin but he'd probably eat his own dick come 2020.
560  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why its need to know every coin/token background that you are involved with? on: April 03, 2019, 10:31:21 AM
You raised 13 good points there dude and usually, you'd be able to determine a project's legitimacy if they meet those points. If you're going to spend something on an investment, of course it's your responsibility to know about the product you're placing your money on. And these are good items to check if you're planning to do it on a crypto coin. Mind also that even if these points are checked, it doesn't guarantee that the project will have good value soon. It may take time before it's value is realized by companies and users.
