542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 12, 2020, 10:10:31 AM
Djokovic said after the game that he did not find his game and that Nadal was fantastic, which proves that he cannot be number one for a long time, if Nadal continues like this, he will get it. The king of clay showed yesterday what a player he is, with the first set 6: 0, I am sincerely glad only because Djokovic won everything with such a result until he came across Tsitsipas and Nadal and showed him that he is not that good.

You should understand where Djokovic is coming from, Lol, he is facing the king of clay courts so what do you expect? 6-0? That say's it all, although it was close in the third set and I thought it will be extended, but Nadal close it with fashion, and thanks to him, it was an easy choice to bet on him and I would say it was really a good odds. But I'm sure Djokovic will be number one though as he has enough points to keep that position.

That's 13th French Open title for Nadal among last 16. It's nothing new for him. Iga Swiatek is the surprising new talent for this grand slam. Clay court and other courts (Grass, Hard and Carpet) are a bit different for players. How good she is on other courts is still to be seen. She have stated that Nadal is her idol as a tennis player. We could expect these two to win again next year if they maintain their fitness.
543  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Is Trump right about blaming China for Covid19? on: October 03, 2020, 02:50:08 AM
It would be wrong to blame it all entirely on China. China could have delayed the spread if they have acted quickly but I don't think it would have been contained anywhere.
The change in political rhetoric of Trump regarding Coronavirus is also a reason why not to take his words seriously. He at a point called it less dangerous than a flu. China could have thought the same.
Even at this time, there are several new waves of virus spread even though the world knows what it is and how to contain it. No, the new waves are not coming from China. There could be other political reasons to isolate China but blaming all the deaths and loss due to this virus on China is provocation.
There are even rumors that the countries that have miserably failed to contain the virus are looking for wars just to deviate the minds of their citizens. A tested and proven way to hide your incompetency.
544  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War between Armenia(Հայաuտան) and Azerbaijan(Azərbaycan) over Nagorno Karabakh on: October 03, 2020, 02:34:44 AM
The current occupation of Nagorno Karabakh is well planned as Turkey's sure neither US nor Russia would come to help Armenia. Both of them don't want to have trouble with Turkey. US have no profit on fighting for Armenia while it's Armenia who betrayed Russia and it's protection in favor of US. The loss of Nagorno Karabakh would be a hard learned lesson for forgetting your past.
545  Other / Off-topic / Re: Weed or cigarettes on: September 29, 2020, 02:05:36 PM
I don't know if its just me or others too have this. I have tried both weed and cigarettes, both are cheap, easy and available everywhere here. Not a regular user of both. It's harder for me to inhale cigarette and chokes on smoke while weed is smooth. I occasionally take weed for health benefits.
546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Creating strong password. on: September 29, 2020, 12:04:52 PM
Creating a strong password is an easier part, saving/remembering all those unique password for everything is harder.
That's why it's better to have mobile and 2FA verification wherever possible. And using different email address for different group of IDs are also amazingly safer.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacker started to eliminate tokens stolen from KuCoin on: September 29, 2020, 11:42:00 AM
If this hacker is not caught and he is able to cashout the stolen money then more people will be encouraged to do so and every exchange will be under threat so it is very important to track and punish this hacker otherwise vulnerability can increase.

I don't have the exact statistics but hacker have gone free with the money several times more than they were caught. Exchanging used to be a problem in the past but with the current trend of decentralized exchange and multiple popular tokens in same blockchain, it's been easier. DEX are not to be blamed here but these crimes and approach would certainly defame DEX and crypto. 99.9% of the blame lies on Kucoin's security.
548  Other / Meta / Re: Appealing my post deletion. on: September 27, 2020, 11:47:05 PM
Here's the catch if your post aren't low quality it won't be deleted. I have people who are actively reporting post of users found to be posting low quality replies on the forum. Permission were taken and I gave a go ahead in the attempt of cleaning the signature campaign. Don't take it personal, you aren't the only one who's posts are getting deleted and assuming your post contributions were deem quality by the moderators then it won't had been deleted. I even have to paused reviewing participants post history to ensure potential posts reported for deletion don't get counted for payment for the week.

It has become a norm that some users barely make it to the 15 minimum posts count in regards to quality contributions. They just spam whatever that comes into their mind inorder to stay active in the campaign. This new initiative was deployed to prevent users like that from getting paid weekly for spamming the forum.

If you can improved on yourself, I'll be happy having you back on the campaign but until then, goodluck in whatever campaign you decide to join. Don't take it personal, it's a decision made in the best interest of the campaign and forum in general.

It's personal when these your "people who are actively reporting" are just targeting a few people but not working to improve overall quality of forum. When users report post to the moderator, they don't have enough time to learn the context of the thread properly and most of them are likely to be deleted. I've already left your campaign but after I raised this issue, the "people of yours" have went on scrapping my older posts.
I would still respect the decision about post quality from the mods but I won't stop writing what I feel like adds up to the thread.

Locking this thread as now it's clear what and whom I need to avoid.
549  Other / Off-topic / Re: SUICIDE IS FOR COWARDS on: September 27, 2020, 04:18:25 PM
No humans are same and hence no two cases of suicide are same.
IMO, there are two prominent reason for preventable suicide.
1. Not being able to control sudden emotion.
2. Not being able to realize the importance of life.
But there's a third reason that is harder to prevent.
3. Realizing that death is the better option.
550  Other / Meta / Re: Appealing my post deletion. on: September 27, 2020, 01:55:11 PM
Tipstar, that someone reports your posts or anyone else's is not strange, no matter what the motives behind it - but if all the posts are indeed deleted then it means that the one who deleted them agrees with the reports. I think any request for restoring deleted posts is a one-way street, but you definitely have a choice to show everyone what your posts looked like - because a low-value post is not something that has a precise criterion.

I think you need to work even harder on your posts and not give anyone a reason to report them at all. I see you left your signature campaign for this reason, and maybe that’s exactly what someone wanted.

LocyeV already seem to have created a tool to look at deleted post of anyone https://loyce.club/archive/members/74/745901.html

I'd always support the decision regarding post quality from the mod, I just want to be sure that it's not personally motivated and the reports are not coming with vested interest.
551  Other / Meta / Re: Appealing my post deletion. on: September 27, 2020, 01:24:48 PM
Two different people have reported them as low value. I doubt it's something personal.

Thanks for the update. So it's mod acting on users report.
Still 12 in two days by two users seems personal with respect to my post deletion history.
552  Other / Meta / Appealing my post deletion. on: September 27, 2020, 01:02:05 PM
I have 12 of my recent post deleted in last two days. That's more that the number of my post that were deleted in last one year.

I'm always in favor of reducing spams in the forum but with the last two days, I feel like I'm being targeted. Some of the mods may find some of those posts not adding value to the thread and it was fine if some of them were deleted but in my case someone is just tracking me and deleting almost all of my post which (in my perception) are adding value to the thread.

It makes me feel like my voice is being silenced in this forum. I guess mods and probably DT members can view my deleted post history and if someone's interested, I can share them the screenshot of my deleted post.

Again I'm not claiming that those were my best post, but targeting a user for two consecutive days and deleting almost all of his post is not what I expect from a mod of the bitcointalk.org forum. The standards should be applied to all users and not just on someone whom a mod picks randomly.
553  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] ▄■▀■▄ 🌟Bitvest.io🌟 - Plinko Sign Camp (Member-Hero Accepted)(New2) on: September 27, 2020, 12:48:51 PM
I'm leaving this campaign as some mod is targeting me as if I'm just posting for the bounty. He/she's intentionally deleting my post so that I'd miss the post limit and get demoted. I might start fresh if the issues been settled.

Edit:
As things comes to be clearer on my thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278516.0
I have reached to a conclusion that one (or some) of the users was targeting me with vested interest regarding this bounty and the format.
Edit2:
I've decided not to rejoin this format of campaign as I don't want to be personally attacked just for some cents. It was nice being with the Bitvest.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: September 27, 2020, 07:46:52 AM
BNB and Eth both are good to invest in long term or short term too. In short term also its giving good profit. Both have a strong community support and mass adoption. BNB have more possibility then eth. I can say because Cz is behind it. Binance is No1 exchange and their are many are many use case of BNB. BNB smart chain is also a good developemet and its a lot of use case so it's good to hold this coin for long term.
well I totally agree with what you said to save BNB because with the support of the world's best exchange places it will make the price of BNB very expensive and of course if BNB can be used to make trading cheaper or faster then BNB can be very expensive because it will increase its demand.

The latest KCS crash is an example how an exchange based token can be a risk in long term. Fess discount on BNB too is going to decrease overtime and while Binance tries to add different perks on holding BNB on the exchange, the reign of Binance as the largest volume exchange would not last forever. As dex and inter-ecosystem exchanges comes to existence, the need for using centralized exchange would decrease. So, in my opinion, ETH has much more potential than the BNB coin even though the supply of ETH is not fixed.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: September 27, 2020, 04:50:14 AM

Seems it's just an echo chamber that tells you your bags are going to the moon... And if the price happens to go down? ?
....then it's another chance to fill your bags even more LMFAO!

One critical observation.... Instaban!

Silly ass shit

Am I wrong?

Telegram is a tool. It's a social network and an messaging app that's been useful for many. Due to the nature of telegram, I don't think it's a suitable place to discuss about crypto and finance. Telegram is focused towards anonymity and hence does not implement any hard regulations on how individuals and groups operate. There are many so called signal and pump group and they do really work, but only for the operators and not the users. The group operators buys the coin first and ask for pump from users. They are the one who profits from the pump at the expanse of users money.
556  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: money from website traffic that pays with BTC on: September 26, 2020, 09:22:22 AM
When it comes to website and money from ads, a-ads comes to my mind at first. They have no minimum payment and pays only in bitcoin. It doesn't have any requirements or restrictions, you just need to take their iframe and put it somewhere visible. There are several banner sizes to choose from and it pays good for unique traffic. I have been using it for most of my sites and they are one of the most user friendly banner service. The also have ability to choose what type of banners to show and what to block like options for adult and hyip ads.
557  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Not your keys, not your Crypto – Kucoin Hacked! $150m Stolen. on: September 26, 2020, 04:54:50 AM
Kucoin is not a localized exchange but an popular international exchange often compared to binance. They are also famous for providing trinkets of coins for holding KCS token in the exchange.
They have forced KYC and 2FA authentication but seems like those things have not been helpful in anyway to stop such large scale hacks. These reoccurring hacks shouts out to both the exchanges and users to rethink how they keep the coins and how they let users withdraw.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: September 26, 2020, 03:03:47 AM
Your friend is not cursed, don't think of it like that. He just getting addicted to gambling maybe because he won once or twice then he had consecutive losses. By that, it keeps him to continue to gamble having his hopes that he will win again or at least get his losses back. That is the common mindset of most gamblers, addiction leads them to that situation.
It never changes the mindset of most gamblers.

It's addictive and when someone can't get off his hands, that's what likely to happen. We get the desire to take back our losses if we have lost that much.

But when we realize, it's better to have that lower amount of loss than to add more of it because of our desire to recover.

It is normal to have the desire to cover the losses we get when playing gambling, by continuing to gamble and hope we can win.
But such a mindset leads us to become gambling addicts, and it will be a problem for ourselves. It should be as you say, we must
realize that having a loss is not a problem, which forced to play gambling again to recover losses, but the more it makes our losses
even greater. And we must be able to limit when playing gambling, because it is very important to control ourselves when playing
gambling.
I think the right thing to say is that in the first place gambling is bad or wrong if only that a person o gambler treat gambling to gain money or such form of obtaining money in easy way, it's not bad play gambling games if only the person view it as entertainment or game and will not chase for it's lost because trying to chasing your losses and desire to gain more money in gambling is a worst mindset at all.

Getting back what I lost is the feeling thats causing more loss and gambling addiction. You could gamble a bit for fun if you can resist your urge to gamble everything and have a budget and a stopping point in case of both winning and losing. People that includes me tends to look at the loss but not at the profit which make us do riskier bets. For an example if someone started with 1 units and goes to 20, if he/she loses 10, it feels like they have lost everything and bets the rest of 10 for just one bet forgetting their initial investment was just 1.
559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: September 25, 2020, 07:56:18 PM
I don't see any 'huge' advantage for Biden here, and also I don't see any advantage for Trump if we look at betting odds here: https://bitedge.com/odds-comparisons/us-presidential-election/
Please wait for presidential debate that is going to happen in few days, and then make make your decision.
Like Joe Rogan said recently, let's just not pretend that Biden cognitive decline does not exist please:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-X5-kZuBn6U

It's getting as unpredictable as a coin roll. Trump is an absurd person. He's stupid but he knows what's good for the country, though his execution maybe bad, he is pure by heart.
Biden on the other hand is a good politician, and I assume he has no vested interest for his own. But he is surrounded by criminals and oligarchs who would sell of their own citizen's lives for money.  Democrats would sound better on debates, they know how to fool people using media.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 And High Transaction Fees.. on: September 25, 2020, 05:25:10 PM
Lower transaction fees is one of the goal for ETH 2.0. The new version of the coin would be using a new concept called shrading. I'm not an expert on it but as I understand shrading would make a transaction cheaper and quicker by making it happen with confirmation form just a few number of nodes and not the entire chain. For a detailed knowledge of how shrading would help solve the scalability problem of Ethereum, I'd recommend this article https://blockgeeks.com/guides/what-are-ethereum-nodes-and-sharding/
