I have 12 of my recent post deleted in last two days. That's more that the number of my post that were deleted in last one year.

I'm always in favor of reducing spams in the forum but with the last two days, I feel like I'm being targeted. Some of the mods may find some of those posts not adding value to the thread and it was fine if some of them were deleted but in my case someone is just tracking me and deleting almost all of my post which (in my perception) are adding value to the thread.

It makes me feel like my voice is being silenced in this forum. I guess mods and probably DT members can view my deleted post history and if someone's interested, I can share them the screenshot of my deleted post.

Again I'm not claiming that those were my best post, but targeting a user for two consecutive days and deleting almost all of his post is not what I expect from a mod of the bitcointalk.org forum. The standards should be applied to all users and not just on someone whom a mod picks randomly.

Two different people have reported them as low value and they're seemingly reporting posts of a lot of other users so I doubt it's something personal.

Thanks for the update. So it's mod acting on users report.
Still 12 in two days by two users seems personal with respect to my post deletion history.

Like hilariousandco said, it doesn't sound like anyone's targeting you specifically.  It sounds like there are one or more members who are doing a bunch of post reporting, and the mods apparently agreed with the reports against you.  I would have no way of giving my opinion on whether yours were low value posts since you didn't quote them, but just take this as a learning experience.

Bitcointalk goes through periods where posts/threads are purged, kind of like crackdowns.  When they happen, a lot of members end up with a lower post count than they had before the purge.  And I'd say most members here have had at least one of their posts deleted before, so don't fret over it, don't take it personally, and move forward.  If someone reported a bunch of your posts because they thought they were of low quality, well, maybe they were.  Take that as constructive criticism and try to do better.

Still 12 in two days by two users seems personal with respect to my post deletion history.
That does seem like a lot.  I bet you that whoever was doing the reporting went and took a look at your post history and reported a bunch of them.

Thanks for the update. So it's mod acting on users report.
Still 12 in two days by two users seems personal with respect to my post deletion history.

I try to stay out of discussions like this since 99% of the time when I take a look I agree with the deletions.
This time when I did take a look at some of the removed posts with Loyces scraper

https://loyce.club/archive/members/74/745901.html

I think the removals were not needed.

For the ones I looked at that were removed while they were not great literature, they were on topic and not any worse then a lot of the other posts in those threads.

I could see someone looking at one of the OPs posts that was marginal and then went on a reporting spree. But if it's more then one user, seems personal.

Just my view.

edit since The Pharmacist posted while I was typing: Also what he said. Agree that occasionally some people do reporting binge you might have been caught up in that too.

Tipstar, that someone reports your posts or anyone else's is not strange, no matter what the motives behind it - but if all the posts are indeed deleted then it means that the one who deleted them agrees with the reports. I think any request for restoring deleted posts is a one-way street, but you definitely have a choice to show everyone what your posts looked like - because a low-value post is not something that has a precise criterion.

I think you need to work even harder on your posts and not give anyone a reason to report them at all. I see you left your signature campaign for this reason, and maybe that’s exactly what someone wanted.

LocyeV already seem to have created a tool to look at deleted post of anyone https://loyce.club/archive/members/74/745901.html

I'd always support the decision regarding post quality from the mod, I just want to be sure that it's not personally motivated and the reports are not coming with vested interest.

Whether something like that is motivated by some personal reasons or not is less important in this case - so someone can report my posts as low-value or spam, but that doesn't mean that moderators will delete them if they really aren't. Again, you should take into account that not all moderators have the same criteria - the person who deleted your posts thinks it is justified, while perhaps another moderator would have a completely different opinion.

Although I never report low-quality posts, I can assume that someone might be interested in your account.
Take a look at this post
The future of cryptocurrency depends on to Lightning network. Lightning network is a new technology and they are still finding bugs and problems and solving them. Lightning network is still not ready to handle large scale transactions. In lightning network, the real funds are frozen while the value transacts. I'd say there are not any disadvantages with the LN network, just some problems to get solved.

Here's how Harpeet Singh Gauri puts the advantages and disadvantages of LN

Pros of the Lightning Network

Lightning network was invented for speed and lower costs. Although the degree of increased efficiency is still to be known, Layer 2 solutions will generally enable a significant increase in transactions per second Micro payments can be carried out with better efficiency with the lightning network and it will be instantaneous. Lightning network has also started support for altcoins making it horizontally scalable The initial transaction fees in this network are cheaper compared to that of the original bitcoin network Lightning network has the same security as Bitcoin’s main chain while keeping transactions in the layer two till the time they are settled on the main chain.

Cons of the lightning network

Major criticism of LN is that the parties will have to have “fund” the channels. If I shop at a coffee shop, I will have to have so much funds in my channel that connect me to the coffee shop. These funds are just lying dormant until the channel is closed and transaction registered on the main chain – which costs money. A major drawback of the lightning network is that it does not support offline payments. This is an issue to users who do not have internet connectivity 24 hours in a day. There are some experts who believe that Centralization might be encouraged in the payment portals. This makes it quite similar to miner centralisation. Since these transactions are sent off the chain, they aren’t tracked by the main channel, leading to privacy concerns. With all points in perspective, Lightning network serves as a brilliant alternative at this point for Bitcoin transactions.

Although you listed the author, again, you did not indicate the source.
https://www.quora.com/What-are-the-pros-and-cons-of-the-Lightning-Networks-proposal-for-transaction-processing-on-the-blockchain

Usually, ironically, it happens that if there is one plagiarism, then the second is nearby.
Take care of yourself:)

Here's the catch if your post aren't low quality it won't be deleted. I have people who are actively reporting post of users found to be posting low quality replies on the forum. Permission were taken and I gave a go ahead in the attempt of cleaning the signature campaign. Don't take it personal, you aren't the only one who's posts are getting deleted and assuming your post contributions were deem quality by the moderators then it won't had been deleted. I even have to paused reviewing participants post history to ensure potential posts reported for deletion don't get counted for payment for the week.

It has become a norm that some users barely make it to the 15 minimum posts count in regards to quality contributions. They just spam whatever that comes into their mind inorder to stay active in the campaign. This new initiative was deployed to prevent users like that from getting paid weekly for spamming the forum.

If you can improved on yourself, I'll be happy having you back on the campaign but until then, goodluck in whatever campaign you decide to join. Don't take it personal, it's a decision made in the best interest of the campaign and forum in general.

It's personal when these your "people who are actively reporting" are just targeting a few people but not working to improve overall quality of forum. When users report post to the moderator, they don't have enough time to learn the context of the thread properly and most of them are likely to be deleted. I've already left your campaign but after I raised this issue, the "people of yours" have went on scrapping my older posts.
I would still respect the decision about post quality from the mods but I won't stop writing what I feel like adds up to the thread.

Locking this thread as now it's clear what and whom I need to avoid.
