I have one of these arriving soon and will post my review.

Did you get your miner yet beast?

I have to think the ethernet card is dead.

I can do one more test I can trade cables from a good machine to the machine with the dead eth card.

if the card lights up then it is just a dead cable.

I emailed sushi-review for a support part or rma .

So far 19  hours of no hash time. My email was sent an hour ago and I posted on threads about 10 hours ago.

Shame as this  delay will make this buy a loser Since time is money.

I will continue to post on this rma as it will help people decide if buying and mining with this gear is worthwhile.

I will post back to let you know if cable swap worked.

Can you use wifi while you are waiting for a response from sushi? I use wifi with mine and have no issues...

I wrote a transcript of the Japanese news item on Gox:
Thank you for doing that.

+1

Right, I agree.  Just saying the pre-orders from last year are finally hitting the network slowly but steadily this year for Cointerra customers.  6% of the total hashrate is pretty significant.

Indeed, see your point - well made

I sold mine on eBay, with all the new TH/s miners being sent out diff will get even higher, your going to see a very small ROI on these if any.

What TH/s miners are being sent out? I don't see any shipping now?

I'm guessing he's referring to Cointerra's 1000 units:

http://www.coindesk.com/cointerra-ships-1000th-miner-powers-6-network/

If I place an order at cointerra.com it says Shipping June 2014 - and by June, 5 ant s1's would have made well more than a 2 TH/s will make...

Looks like I lost my 0.68 coins... I can live with my gamble epic fail (ok not epic - it was £100) but I do feel sorry for those who had thousands/tens of thousands tied up in gox - I hope they see some of it back when the bankruptcy dust has settled...

Hai XYT,

when will be the Antminer S1 (180GHS) available in Germany?
Is it possible to pick it up?

Friendly regards Yello

Just wondering.

atm only the USB dualminer

Plus... no block found for 45 mins - this is the end of bitcoin...

[edit] Oh it's ok, just blockchaininfo being slow - panic over

[edit2] unless there's a correlation here - I reckon Mark has taken over blockchaininfo and he is 'pretending' blocks have been found...
551  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is Sushi Group buy for the Antminer S1 legit or scam? Who is legit? on: February 24, 2014, 06:07:15 PM
I was in sushi's early feb GB - got my miner fast, no issues mining away.
552  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [850 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: February 24, 2014, 01:14:16 PM
This pool really has 850 TH ?
Is 850 TH on the top end or is their a larger pool ?
At the time of writing it's up to 869 TH/s.  It did top 900 before we had a run of bad luck and some people ran away.

Some pools are much bigger: BTCguild is currently 5206 TH/s, and other are larger still, but I CBA to look them up.  Cool

All these test withdrawals are either invalid or not confirmed

https://data.mtgox.com/api/0/bitcoin_tx.php

https://blockchain.info/search/f73763efc856147662b1e543d49a110def90d7402becba47e30ab1b0dcb3f5b8

I think that a sign for the worst is yet to come Sad

Thats my finding as well. Nothing is being processed.

The reason they are not confirming is because there is no fee and so the transaction is only medium priority. This is probable because they are just testing and not as a result of a technical problem.

[update]

After the 8+ hour wait for my okpay fiat funds to reach gox, I managed to buy 0.68 coins for 100 UKP. Now I'll wait and see...
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking: MtGox Now Testing Bitcoin Withdrawals on: February 23, 2014, 12:47:25 AM
The only reason anyone should care if other people want to send money to MtGox is that it will allow them to operate a ponzi for longer if that's what they're actually doing now.

If that's what people are actually worried about, then the answer is to get regulators to look into whether MtGox is in fact solvent.  That's going to have a far more immediate and greater impact on their operations than encouraging people to either boycott them or support them.  Anyone sending money to MtGox at this stage is motivated by greed and knows full well that they may never see their funds again.

Hey repentance, have you involved yourself in bitcoin for greed or are you speculating?

I have made many gambles in my efforts to mine bitcoin such as joining group buys (and wondering if my miners will ever turn up). I've made enough profit to 'speculate' my 100 UKP and I'm willing to lose it (hoping I wont). I'm clearly not the only one as the gox price is jumping up fast. I don't care about the politics of gox and how people are so 'aggrieved at the abuse of bitcoin' shown by them. I see an opportunity, I can afford the gamble. I'm not greedy, in fact I'm quite a generous human...

Bull shit.

Nice use of the English language.

[edit] It's my hundred quid - not asking you for anything...

[edit2] and bullshit is all one word my friend...

Bitcoins tend to flow from weak hands to strong, and you sir, have balls.

Like my mum always taught me Yogi, you've got to be in it to win it Smiley

Anyone know how long an OKPAY deposit of fiat to mtgox takes?

why would u do that ?

Worth a hundred UKP to test the waters - I've done it anyway. Found another thread saying it takes 4-6 hours to show up on gox - then I'll buy 0.75 of a coin for 100 UKP - I'll let you know if I ever see the BTC...

I'm running a Corsair Professional series 860 Watt for 2 overclocked units. Most people run 1000 Watt for 2 overclocked units, but the high end Corsairs can handle the load.

Got a link to your psu? and do they both mine ok? - I need to buy a new psu(s) for 2 more miners

The second one just came in today, but both are overclocked to 393.75 MHz getting 200+ GH/s since I hooked them up. No issues whatsoever.

Thanks !
