541  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin survive? on: April 08, 2018, 07:50:18 PM
It's always been a question that's playing in the minds of people of what is really the future of bitcoin. Since we don't really know what exactly will happen in the future, let's just base our prediction by looking at bitcoin's graph since it was launched. Pretty convincing to me that bitcoin has really a very good future.
Yes I also have argued that the same that is always be questions in mind, and it seems indeed bitcoin will have a good future because of demand bitcoin always a lot and growing from time to time
Since the launch of Bitcoin has passed a lot of time, and to judge only on this about the success of crypto currency is impossible. But nevertheless it is very significant that Bitcoin from the very beginning had a price of a few cents, And today we already saw what Bitcoin is capable of, which reached at the maximum prices of 20,000 dollars.
Bitcoin is not reaching the price down to $1k so it is still at its stable price, so no worries too much about it, everything will be fine at the end of the year, we will all again amaze what it would have in the coming months and the increase of the price will start this month so keep your faith.
542  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Dark use of Bitcoin on: April 08, 2018, 04:08:18 PM
Me - I have never used bitcoin for some illegal transactions, but heard that some people do buy drugs with the usage of bitcoin
Since bitcoin entered our community and society many people though of ways to make transactions illegal, just like buying illegal drugs, making bribe for government officials which we cannot control, but the thing is that although we don't have bitcoin we cannot eliminate crimes.
543  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: will all the countries make cryptocurrency legal? on: April 08, 2018, 03:55:06 PM
I still have a dough on taking risk in cryptocurrency as still there are countries who are not making it legal to trade. so is there any chance for those countries to make it legal
Each state has the right to independently resolve the issue of legalization of the crypto currency and recognition of its legitimacy in the territory of that state. Since this is an internal issue of each state, no one has the right to indicate to him how to act in his decision. Everything will depend on the success of introducing crypto currency in the leading countries of the world. If such implementation is successful, then other states will follow this same path of recognition. However, this process will be lengthy and ambiguous. I hope that all countries will ever come to a logical decision to recognize the crypto currency as a legitimate means of payment.
We cannot really control the beliefs of some countries, they thinks all the time that bitcoin was a great way to scam people so they are just protecting their people, we cannot blame them because they are just after more on the security rather than the opportunity for their people.
544  Economy / Economics / Re: Good news or bad news... on: April 07, 2018, 05:40:26 PM
I think this is good news because it will reduce money laundering in the country of japan, may the economy there also improved and bring good impact on crypto
On the other hand it has a positive side, right? Just keep supporting your government as they know the truth and what is best in one country so if they have said that we need to control the price or the value of one thing they can do it.
545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS STILL FAMOUS on: April 06, 2018, 03:40:20 PM
Yes bitcoin is still famous. Even it price value is still on its lowest price many people are still believing and talking about bitcoin. It is still in a positive side on the eye of any people because many of us still believe that bitcoin will rise again that will benefits us and we are all hoping that it will change our life status and make our lives better. And I know time will come that more company and investors will use bitcoin as a payment system to innovate their service and make their transactions smooth and convinience. And most of all it is still famous because more of people who are doing bitcoin have a lot of dreams.
Well, I don't think that bitcoin is not anymore famous anymore, it is still famous we are just experiencing dumping of price but that does not mean that people are not getting used to it for sure they do still believe in it but there are some things that triggered the price to down.
546  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Try to recover loss on: April 03, 2018, 07:12:39 PM
If you want to restore your loss guaranteed, then you better get your patience and do long-term investment in cryptocurrencies. And don't look at price every 5 minutes. Wink
I don't think that there is people here who did not encounter any losses, for sure almost all of us had lose some money/investment here but that is not the reason, we are still here, what matters is that we learned, we stand up and now we are creating our name again here in cryptocurrency.
547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: April 03, 2018, 06:47:16 PM
Money can be stored in a bank, but you never will be able to guarantee their complete safety, and your electronic money is securely protected by well thought out and proven methods.
But if ever, there is an insurance to support your savings in a bank if ever the bank was hacked, theft or whatever but there is just a maximum limit for every depositor, there is no assurance and if you have the money and you want to save in bank what you'll do is to maximize your money thru different banks.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: Wonder how many people can hold BTC for more than 3 years on: April 03, 2018, 06:19:13 PM
I won't feel anything special if Bitcoin is hitting $50K in next 3 years unless and until there is some utility value for the same. I am eagerly waiting to use Bitcoins for my offline transactions without converting it in the fiat currency. I am willing to gain that sense of uniformity on a global level in the financial sector with Bitcoin and price is a secondary factor in this whole process.
Last year when the value of bitcoin becomes $20k many people has been dreaming that their hard earned money could  make them profitable too by investing in bitcoin that they have proven enough that it will gonna reach that kind of amount someday or few years from now, so for sure millions of people will gonna hold their bitcoin too.
549  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: April 03, 2018, 06:09:15 PM
You are right, i am personally concerned to this factor that bitcoin price is volatile.
Though, it may be the reason why some business wights yet prefer not to hold or accept bitcoin as a payment method.
We can only hope of counteraction on its volatility in future if more people start insinuating Bitcoin.
Of course, with the growing popularity of bitcoin, its price and capitalization will grow, which in turn will lead to the fact that the total capitalization of all crypto currencies will reach several trillion dollars and this will make crypto currencies more resistant to infusions of money on the part of individuals in whose hands is concentrated a considerable mass of money. By helping other people to treat bitcoin more loyal and using it to make payments, we strengthen bitcoin and make its volatility lesser.
It cannot be controlled my someone unless you are holding a big part of it  let us say at least 20% of the total supply, then that percentage you will have a significant influence with the price and value of bitcoin, you can control depends on your moves.
550  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin VS bank on: April 03, 2018, 05:49:36 PM
For more than a century, the banking system was used to fund state, endanger the stability of the economic activity, robbing private savings, eliminate one road, promote the financing dependence, even make violent reached an unprecedented scale, all because we do not have different techniques to implement monetary exchange. Now the monopoly is being broken. Bitcoin was born. The fear of the ruling class is only just beginning.

Do you think bitcoin will replace Banks in the future?

Well i have read an article which it said that btc cannot be overtake the banks in future it would be the number one currency but it cant surpassed the banks in the future. Becuse for my own perspective it hard and it would be a huge impact for the people to change the ways that they do for the past years.
It is too early for now to say that bitcoin will lead as the currency of all time, but nowadays banks sees bitcoin as a threat in their cash flow, someday time will gonna come that the bank gonna lose a material cash which will lead to scarcity and unbalance economy that is why they will need the help of cryptocurrency.
551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stop listening to false news on: April 03, 2018, 03:30:16 PM
Newcomers and other investors who don't have the balls to hodl their cryptos during crisis are more likely to believe in FUD and false news. For others, they're still open to listen and read false news besides, they don't believe them at all.
If we will listen to fake news then the tendency will be that we will have a negative vibes about it and we can spread that negativity to some of the people who are close to us especially when we share that negative news to them, we should be noted that we should be positive always, just laugh at those news.
552  Economy / Speculation / Re: What would be better on: April 03, 2018, 02:34:56 PM
Buying Bitcoin and ETH is really the best choice as of the moment because Bitcoin I think will really go back to at least 11k to 12k around July. and will continue to go up like last year.
That is right, we should have them both, those are partners, it is okay to invest in some other coins but don't forget to prioritize bitcoin and Eth in our wallet, this 2 are more profitable and potential in the future if you have this 10 years from now your life will be secured.
553  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bangko Sentral, SEC to educate public on cryptocurrencies on: April 02, 2018, 07:19:24 PM
Looking forward to the rising of bitcoin's value.

http://news.abs-cbn.com/business/03/12/18/bangko-sentral-sec-to-educate-public-on-cryptocurrencies

Maari pero paano? At lahat ba willing? Hopefully yes pero I still think no.

554  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Have people been forced to pay tax over Bitcoin yet? on: April 02, 2018, 06:36:01 PM
The word forced is inappropriate

Actually I've seen in newspaper that a guy faced a charge for money laundering because they've found Bitcoin worth 100k EUR on his computer (he has been arrested for being a hacker and this is how they've got access to his computer). It's close enough to "forced".
But his lawyer managed to get papers from ANAF (our IRS) showing that Bitcoin is not taxed.
The news is here, but you have to use google translate for it.
Of that is sad to hear, maybe taxation in cryptocurrency in their country is legal that is why, I hope that no one will be arrested here in tis forum about that and we'll all gonna comply with the law so that it won't cause any problem  in us in the future, let us obey rather than committing a crime.
555  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Child Abuse Content Found On Bitcoin Blockchain on: April 02, 2018, 06:14:10 PM
I don't see anything wrong with that. It is not the fault of the blockchain. If someone wants to send or receive the photo, he will find a way to do it. It seems to me that the opponents of cryptocurrencies using any excuse to discredit the system of cryptocurrency.
Don't you know that it is likely called as a FUD creation because out of nowhere it came up suddenly were it is too obvious that it happened already before. Seems like this is their first time to know this kind of thing, were it's already been around before but they did not really put too much attention to it since this is a criminal act and they leave it to the police works.
We do have parents that should guide our kids in doing this, so if we allowed our children then it is our responsible, but for me I will not teach my children here until he reaches his legal age,  as I wanted him to take care of his study first before anything else.
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seeing lots of new features in the forum. on: April 01, 2018, 07:14:27 PM
I think it's just an April fool's joke.
It's very creative, and I love this new system, my friend. Grin Grin
We are all confused right now it it was really a joke since today is April 1 'fools day' but we don't know yet the real until tomorrow if this thing will gonna remove but if it will remain then we must follow and observe the new rules for us.
557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC experience for young people on: April 01, 2018, 07:04:58 PM
Bitcoin is a brand new thing. Like the Internet, bitcoin has a whole new layer of underlying technology, operating principles and applications that have never had anything like it in history.

Young people are very receptive to these new things and are willing to accept and use new things.

Telling the general public what bitcoin is, it's like telling people in the 1980s what the Internet is like.
That is right, it is really young people have the chance to explore the world of internet as they do have ample time to so, unlike old people just like me that my time was limited enough but still doing my part to do what should be done making sure that I am still updated with the news.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH next to BTC? on: March 30, 2018, 05:04:17 AM
I just created this thread to gather opinions ..
Ethereum is next to BTC?
I think ethereum earns it's titles as next to bitcoin because it's advantages and it's market cap. Ethereum may be able to compete to bitcoin but ethereum can't replace bitcoin and stay it's track like bitcoin.
Ethereum would be just next  to bitcoin but can never top over Bitcoin, bitcoin will still the mother of cryptocurrency so there is no reason for us to doubt about it due to its existence for almost 9 years and it proves enough for us.
559  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are you saying wait? on: March 30, 2018, 03:34:08 AM
In recent months, the market has dropped a lot. Many people's portfolios have fallen by 50 percent, and the answer is basically waiting.

We can sell it at a higher price and buy when it goes down.

I think we'll lose a little bit less, better than nothing.
We need to keep the faith of waiting and holding for  a long time, I may agree with you but it really varies to you and what your strategies will be, if you want to have a strategy like that then you are free to do it otherwise you can just simply go and do what you want, if no one of us here will hold and will do a strategies like that then for sure bitcoin value would dropped to $1k.
560  Local / Pilipinas / Re: how to earn 2-10% a day on: March 30, 2018, 01:57:13 AM
Pwede naman magoffer ka ng loan service dito if possible at kung papayagan ka pero risky din, kaya kung meron ka namang ibang way para kumita ng pera just like trading mas okay na yon then still don't forget na at least some of it will hold in Bitcoin and Ethereum it will your assurance for future.
