Is price of the altcoin is based on price of the bitcoin?I have noticed the price of bitcoin falling down for past few days on same the price of altcoins are also falling down
yes that's right, most of the time when Bitcoin goes up majority of the altcoins in the market goes down only few of them that are potentials are also rising their value like Ethereum, and more But when Bitcoin goes down most of the altcoins goes up in my observation in this industry. |

Probably, it is because Bitcoin is the Father of all cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin also have the highest value in terms of virtual digital currency.
Then most of the time Bitcoin for others is really a good investment if we hold it in a long term for sure in the end we will gain a big reward.

I was invited by a friend of a friend to invest in Bitcoin last year. He told me that if I invest 5000 in our currency it will be doubled in a month's time. He also promised me that I will get referral fees and override from every person I introduced to Bitcoin and that prices of Bitcoin are expected to increase. To make the story short I did not join because I believe its a pyramiding scam. Truth to be told I did my research on Bitcoin after that and it turn's out that Bitcoin's price was really on rise unfortunately I did not invest at that time. Currently I'm learning more thru this forum and I thank my friend for inviting me here. Just last December I heard from one of my friends that the company they joined was in fact a pyramiding scam and the money they invested in just vanished out of thin air together with the people who invited them. We should be wary of people offering investments and opportunities to us. Do your research. Opportunity comes with risks as well as the rewards. If its too good to be true, it might be a scam. Bitcoin is not a SCAM but there are people who uses Bitcoin to SCAM other people. Good luck to us and more power to Bitcoin!
It is shows only that Bitcoin is true because if it is not, for sure scammer won't use bitcoin as a tools to scam others. Therefore, Bitcoin can be use for legal and illegal purposes, can be use by good bad people. |

Who are we to make predictions? We can only assume hope and trust. Recently Aldona Creator Charlie Lee has changed his predictions about bitcoin prices.Initially, he predicted the price of 25,000 dollars. But now I've changed my mind. As of yesterday, his forecast is 22000 dollars.It will take some time and we will see the result. I am sure that this result will be positive.
Most predictions of many experts are not realize because previously they are predicting for bitcoin to reach $20000-$25000 but until now the market don't have a positive response. Most of you are confident with the long term for Bitcoin. Yet some altcoins has the same features so why are you so confident about bitcoin and not about litecoin instead?
I compared them and approximatevily the same assets!
The only difference is that bitcoin was the first, is it that important?
Never compare Bitcoin into altcoin pal, because altcoin is just a copy of bitcoin in my opinion. Bitcoin is the highest value of digital currency while altcoins is just a 3/4 price only of bitcoin or less. And we cannot erase that bitcoin is the Father of all cryptocurrency and it can't never be change at all. |

Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).
Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!
If you lost your rock solid regular job, it is a matter of your choice. I don't know if you regret giving up your job because of crypto, anyway, actually, before I got here in this industry I gave up my job under by the government for 7 years of work, but I never regret for what I made a decision of doing crypto currency. Because I believed and saw the potentiality of crypto and I was right about it, and now for two years of being here in this business I bought a brand new house and new car and established also a traditional business because of crypto as my main source of income. |

Bitcoin is my first and foremost choice, second choice is ethereum because ethereum has a good chance in the future and the third maybe I will make a choice on litecoin.
Bitcoin does not belong to altcoins. All coins except Bitcoin are called altcoins.  But I also agree that buying Bitcoins is safer than buying altcoins. Yeah right! bitcoin is differ to altcoins. I think that you should pay attention on such coin: Ethereum, Neo, ripple, OMG, ADA. I would still advise the EOC, but he is influenced by such phenomenon as pump, so wait and you can buy it.
For me Loyalcoin is one of the best then, Utrust, or Tky and Pundix these four altcoins are good to hold em in a long term dude. And those coins that I mentioned is good to buy now due to its cheap better and timely to avail the chance then hold mate. |

I used ethereum to trade some of the altcoins which I think is good to trade in, then sometimes I participated in the ico where majority of them of them are requiring is Ethereum and Bitcoin is allowed to use as payment to avail their token. then, lastly ethereum also is good to hold in a long term just like holding bitcoin. |
