Speaking of, is there a reliable way to extract them from old coins? Coinomi app wallet is 0retty simple and secure, if you move your btc first. Tried that with bcash, didn't work. Had to use a btc.com wallet to extract those. Possibly because it was from a pretty old electrum wallet? I know they changed format once or twice. It You need to recover from seed use bither app. You can also claim bcd and sbtc with it. If you have problems pm me and I will be glad to help you  Edit: if your old private keys didn't worked in coinomi, your problem is probably related to compressed/uncompressed format, you can convert the format using bitaddress.org. During the early fork days I helped out a lot of people, I become some kind of expert xd Alright, got bither running (on a spare phone). Set up a wallet and tried to scan my private keys from electrum, but apparently they are not in bip38 format? What do? Are they unencrypted? It Yes, just click "wallet details" in bitaddress.org (better use it offline, the github source for download is linked on the site itself) and use their tool to convert them Use Import Private Key and then select From Private Key Text and scan it in. |

...I think that if your goal was to make an interim cashing out of BTC around the value of 60 BTC at $17k, then you could have started cashing out in 10BTC increments and met the same result with an incrementalism something like this: 1)10 BTC at $14,500, 10 BTC at $15,500, 10 BTC at $16,500, 10 BTC at $17,500, 10 BTC at $18,500, and 10 BTC at $19,500...

Yesterday's dump was the most hilarious fiasco I've ever seen.
My partner was asking about the crash yesterday, and all I was able to respond with was some mumbled grumblings about "South Korea", "CoinMarketCap", and "Panic Selling" - not quite being able to clearly articulate what was going on. After a few moments (... I tend to ramble on...) I was able to finally sum it up as "A bunch of weak hands got flushed and a bunch of stupid people panic SODL'd because CMC changed stuff, making it look like the prices of shitcoins crashed", to which, he shrugged, and got back to playing Candy Crush on his iPhone. I believe that the supposed "crash" is more easily summed up as normal consolidation. Perhaps our more narrow consolidation range is $13,000 to $17,500 and the broader consolidation range is $11k to $20k. Maybe you can get a little excited if we break beyond the more narrow consolidation range - but the more meaningful excitement woudl come from breaking beyond the broader consolidation range. Anyhow, what I am trying to say is that you should tell your partner to shut the fuck up and stop bothering you about petty matters because nothing significant is happening yet, until we perhaps get close to the boundaries of one of the consolidation ranges - in one direction or another - and for now, we are largely bouncing around in the white noise middle. I like you. I'm going to venture that however, you would not if you two were in a relationship. |

Get your Bitcoin diamond with Bither wallet. You can import the Bitcoin private keys and then extract the BCD - it will ask you for a Bitpie BCD address but I think it doesn't matter what wallet you use. Bitpie is written by the same programmer as Bither. You could probably extract them directly to an exchange wallet. I used gate.io |

Whats important is when you can deposit, not just trade. Yobit doesn't allow deposits in any of these coins. Currently: Bitcoin Diamond, sell on gate.io SuperBitcoin sell on okex.com You can download clients from github and import you priv. keys. Prices are slowly declining.. How do you claim them? You don't need to claim most of them, you already have them on the forked chain, just like BCH. You just need to access them. Is it worth it? - I've made about 1.5% (of my total BTC) profit for both Bitcoin Diamond & SuperBitcoin. I was quick off the mark, and that returned has probably slipped to <1% now. How did you manage to get bcd FluidJax? I couldn’t find a working wallet for it to import my keys? I am on Windows. Did you have to compile the wallet from the source code on github? Bither wallet allows you to import the bitcoin private keys then you can claim the BCD coins from a selection in the advanced menu. You will be promted to send them to a Bitpie BCD addy. I used the Bitpie wallet and then sent to gate.io Do it fast... Price is tanking as coins are dumped. |

as long as the network congestion/high-fees aren't resolved, bitcoin will not move anywhere - currently ripple does up to 1500tx/s with low-fees btc and eth are currently mostly gateway coins premined does not mean "not decentralized", IOTA and Cardano have interesting concepts let alone the fact that botcoin and his brother buttcoin are also centralized through China-SHA256 and extremly resource hungry who do you think will own the master-nodes for LN?  the problem is the distribution of the coins for the premined projects, i guess the creators have the most, but that is also a problem with btc and early adopters currently btc can't cope with much more new users - a price of 50k$ is not justified will you pay 100$ transaction fee? - i wanted to buy some cardano and converted my btc to eth before transaction inb4 ripple shiller: i sold my stash at 20ct  Ripple is a company run by few individuals with unlimited cap and blah blah. I dont know of anybody mining ripple... It is just like a tokenized visa, makes little sense to me Ripple cannot be mined and if anybody tells you differently, they're trying to rip ple you off. So how the hell are transactions validated? Seems to me like it is just a public db It is a public db. There are nodes which relay candidate transactions and also special validator nodes which use an iterative process to come to a consensus on candidate transactions that will be included in the ledger. I believe the nodes hash the resulting set of candidate transactions and compare the hashes among themselves until there is a supermajority in agreement. There is no reward for running a node or a validator node. |
