Unfortunately, I can no longer access this site from my location. Too bad, it used to be. Perhaps the policy has been adjusted and tightened with allowed countries?

Where are you from? Looking at your username and some of your old posts, you are from Indonesia like me (unless your account has changed hand/bought account). If you are from Indonesia, I have no ideas why you are unable to access it because I can access it easily with any internet providers. Anyway, you can use vpn if you want to access stake.
True.
Stake along with almost all casinos require you to use some sort of vpn service or another for the past three-four months now.
Firefox had just released a vpn built-in their browser from what I noticed during the last update I did a couple of days ago.

Also noticed an update to the stake site yesterday but didn't know it was an official release of stake 3.
Only did I realize it when I saw a banner on the forums showing stake 3 just arrived here. Wink
5402  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★BetBTC★ Sportsbook | Bitcoin Sports Betting | Since 2014 | Instant Withdrawals on: October 29, 2020, 11:58:59 AM
We have just shared 0.09BTC this weekend to users on different campaigns!

Participate in the draws for the next weekend, to earn your chance of winning free money, and also increase the prizes:

more participations = higher prizes 🎉🎉🤑🤑

Will it be when you have reached 50 participants across all campaigns combined will the prize pool be the 0.05btc?
That would be more enticing to the bettors from other sites and platforms to perhaps want to join in.

Only my observation of what other betting sites are offering to their customers and competition plays a vital role these days to gain their attention. Smiley
5403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: October 28, 2020, 05:30:22 PM
^^
Yes, I wasn't too sure which thread which was described in the notification the free bets were distributed for to be honest. Cheesy
But it was for the discussion in this one. Smiley
Already won with the one I received:

So it was a lucky one! Grin
It can be simply done by putting in your selections for the multimasters and you would get the free bets placed on your accounts.
5404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to BTC if just a few whales will buy all left supply? on: October 28, 2020, 05:26:00 PM
OP that's not possible. You don't understand how the free market works.

If even 16 million is really in circulation and accessible how much of it do you think is on exchanges? I'm sure it's less than half of it? Then how much is in open orders available to be bought? Half of that? So only 3-4 million BTC can be bought if you had enough money.

Even if you had unlimited money and wanted to pay 50 thousand USD for a coin right here right now you'd maybe be able to buy a few million coins.
I see what you are saying. Because those who are whales trying to buy up all the bitcoin so to monopolize it won't own all of it since there are those who mine it and if those whales are trying to make it more scarce, then they will be paying that $50k per coin then those who are mining the last few will just hold on it to. Wink

@buwaytress: Hahah, no probs man glad I can put a smile on your face after the liverpool game. I was busy watching the one I had a bet on and just caught the last minute when the penalty was awarded to salah and the vid being shown on their stream.
Yeah it was a funny one I must say.

Did anyone else notice sportsbet.io new splash page up? I was there the same time they have the sportsbet.io app banner at the top of the home page. Pretty nifty if I do say so myself. Cool

It seems to be a result of the partnerships done with owner and all the teams they sponsor now.
Also they had some nice gifts for those who take part in discussions on bctalk forums when I saw these new improvements on the site! Grin
5406  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: October 27, 2020, 11:18:38 PM
Right boys and girls! Going to sit down and enjoy the next 90 mins of football. Played a nice Betbuilder at almost 5/1 for Liverpool, Salah, win both halves, clean sheet, 1 card, 8 corners. I don't really care as long as we win but we should use this game to get some confidence back!

Inter drew, Bayern almost dropped points. Crazy, crazy times!

@leea-1334: What a way to win, you did well in the pool too. I got yellow cap over there so am enjoying some very generous freebets meself =D

Hope you got your betbuilder bet cause Mo Salah got to score right at the end with a penalty awarded... so you just might have got your bet right. It ended 2-0 so clean sheet was there as well.

This is from the stream I was watching after he scored:

5407  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: October 27, 2020, 08:26:39 PM
@ leea-1334   for a second i thought you actually got 15 correct results and won the whole thing LOL  congrats and enjoy those winnings! +1 invisible merit - Sent
Thank you very much! If I got all 15 correct I would be rich enough to retire actually,,, well not really but I would probably have 10 years of savings all at one go;)
Also winning, Leea-1334, WELL DONE! Multi Magic is darn hard these weeks with the strange Football results, so enjoy the 300 Mbtc!

THANK YOU I am definitely enjoying it now and wondering what I can do with it, maybe on my leave day play a lot of casino Wink I have not had good results since joining but tried a few draws for the big teams like United/Chelsea and it seems now people do not like to score a lot anymore.

Next Multi Magic is of course automatic selection for me.

Enjoy CL everyone. 1-1 Lokomotiv so far and I am soooo sleepy.
Maybe come join us at the multimasters thread too. Wink
Your welcome to come put in your picks if you wish too. Of course that would be up to you. Smiley
Damn tyKiwanuka.. so close... Still happy to see someone around from here to catch the prize. Would be great to have leea-1334 here around as well in Bctalk MM group  Cheesy.

Anyway seems like list for next MM is up. Time to be back at it again boys Cool

Here is the thread if you want to check it out for the next one is up and ready to put in your predictions.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5208617.msg55457703#msg55457703

There are a couple who are on the thread who have predicted 11 correct but shared the prize with the others who had the same, so having the winnings all to yourself is quite the accomplishment! Grin
Enjoy your winnings and just surprised to not have seen you on there in the past.

Fenerbahce has started the season badly but I think they will start winning from now on. As for Barcelona, they will take the win at the Spanish derby with the help of their squad quality.
Sounds good to me as I have Barcelona to win their next game.
They got to get their confidence back some how. Embarrassed

Back to the new multimasters. Wink
I think I only have two draws and the favorites to win.. so it will be another loss for me. As you all know there is always an upset or 5+ draws during these things. Undecided

Always worth but a dollar to try and get the 0.3btc prize jackpot just like leea-1334! Grin
Congratulations if you decide to visit our modest thread and put in your predictions for all to see. Cheesy

This is hiveos. If it's not there (it wasn't there for me until I did the following), then you just need to update or use the latest version of their os.
They released memtweak for phoenix miner since earlier this year.
5412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.1c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: October 26, 2020, 02:24:03 PM
8x580
phoenix 238mhs, clay 243mhs
why such difference? long time ago mined eth and phoenix was faster.
With Phoenix it's need to use AMD memory tweak tool to set REF parameter. Claymore can do this by -rxboost option. Phoenix not.
Yet. Hope the developer will soon add this feature.
I hope too. But dev several years didn't add this feature... Hope slowly dies...
AMD mem tweak is there!
You just need to set the value to 30.
Even though it states 20 is default I've found 30 works better according to some researching about it.

Now they just need to release version 5.2 already to fix the 4gb mining problem where the current release states those cards don't have enough vram to start mining. The warning in bright yellow is at the beginning of the process for detecting the cards you have installed in your rig.
And yes, the program has been like this for the past month from the beginning of October.
It is a problem Phoenix Miner Devs! Angry
Look: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5281830

Lolminer has already addressed the problem with their last release several weeks ago.
5413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: October 26, 2020, 12:04:58 PM
Yes it was someone from the forums as you said it was leea-1334:
OH MY GOD EVERYONE!!!

I did not even realize I won MultiMasters! Most of the games happened while I was asleep at I even did not realize I hit almost everything in last night. This is my first season to play and I thought it was really really tough but I just saw this notification in my account:

Congratulations! 🎉
Your winnings for participating in the Multi Master promo are now credited. Can you do it again next weekend? Check your mB wallet to see the reward!

And it is all there,,, I have never won a prize this big before in one game, for $1!!!

Thank you Steve and Sportsbet! My heart is still beating so hard:) Now I have to bet in every special every week!!
They won it now they should be a part of the group of winning 11. Grin
5414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: October 26, 2020, 12:00:04 AM
^^
I think you won (shared in the prize pool) cause there was one player with 10 going into this last match and it ended in a draw.

I doubt they had it set as a draw. Embarrassed
With 2 minutes left to go Flamengo RS scored to tie it up. I could of had 8 but I will settle with not getting it correct if one of us can win the prize for sure!
Congrats if you did manage to clean it up at the end.
You deserve it with all the work you put into setting up the table graphics for us all to enjoy the competition a bit more each week!

How do you guys like my new singnature? Need to update it though its ba bit wonky.
It certainly is nicer on the eyes and yes, it does need to be stretched so it fills out the signature space out more, then it will be perfect micro. Wink

Nice promo for the UFC last night as everyone who bet on the heavy favorite Khabib won double their winnings cause he won by submission. Cool
Should be showing on our player accounts this time tomorrow as it says paid out in 48 hours after the fight completes.

Also, Despite those who are complaining about the sportsbook in the past couple of posts on the thread,
I am quite happy with the amount you are allowed to bet with and the limits I have received to wager on.
As you can see on my last ticket I placed with such as low amount allowed and have bet up to 0.075btc on a match before,
so I haven't had these sort of issues with your sportsbook section of the site. Grin
5416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MLB - Major League Baseball- Betting Thread on: October 25, 2020, 04:13:59 PM
^^
The notion of world series games going under, with high defensive skill coming into effect once it starts, is completely out the window.
I looked at the score and seen it 6-6 and then turned it off.
Woke up to see the rays won 8-7. Shocked
I would go for the overs as the bookies are having it o7.5 from now on for the rest of the games. Undecided
5417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: October 23, 2020, 06:59:46 PM
Look at the premier game of the multimasters Sad

Can barely see the players. Lets hope Sassuolo can find the net in the first match of the day.

Nice collection of mindrust quotes. Never read them before. Gives a good insight into the "mindrust mindset"...

I would like a wall of Mindtrust quotes..uhh.. for prosperity purposes. Cheesy
Do you think it would be meme worthy enough to make them postable? Undecided
This is interesting.  This is likely very positive.  I do not *think* they would be doing this if they were not bought into the ecosystem philosophically.  In other words if Bitcoin is just a precursor to PalCoin that's one thing... and I do not doubt PalCoin is likely.
I think this smells. They have known about Bitcoin and other crypto companies since 2012/2013. They could have bought any number of them then for cheap, and enabled crypto payments a long time ago.
So why now?
The likely culprit is that their profits are falling, and they're looking for another way to lock in users into their payment services platform. And also to scoop 0.5% on every crypto buy/sell. It is all greed driven, that is all. Absolutely nothing altruistic about it.
I CERTAINLY do not think PP's motivations are altruistic in any way.
But this continues to make my point.  Bitcoin does not care if you are altruistic or you are  bastard.  And it will crush you if you stand in it's way.  Over and over that has happened.  And I expect we will watch companies that try to game it, or own it, or overcome it, or break it be destroyed by it.  Possibly PP.
But I would think they can work any greed angle that aligns with the network.  Bitcoin does not care.
Also I think altruism can cause us to stand in the way of Bitcoin as well... and it will run over the altruistic just the same as the bastard.
Corporate money is and always be 'in it for the greed'. They don't do it for the sake of bitcoin's good in the world. Trust me on this one! Wink

Exactly.
The word "altruistic" is not in Bitcoin's vocabulary. In fact, it only understands 2048 words. The rest is hexadecimals and base58.
Cool! Grin
The more you know. Cool

hey everyone has panic sold something at some point (admit now.. well, except bob with his titanium training) but that was.. well that was some next level shit.
I still remember the "China bans bitcoin" crash of 2013 like it was yesterday. I was at the airport, watching the chart on my phone. It was all a nonstop sea of red straight down, and within an hour had falling well below my average buy in price. I felt sick, and certainly had many of these same thoughts.
But I hodled on. Refused to panic sell.
Yeah, it's happened to me too. In early January 2017 I had bought some coins around $1100 and then it dumped to under $800 (IIRC). I tried to sell on the way down, but Kraken saved me by not executing the order, due to their server s/w being run on ZX Spectrum 48Ks... Thank you Kraken, you saved me some losses from selling and rebuying.

So yeah, it's not so easy to keep your cool, especially in the early years of HoDLing. Would not do that now though. I feel I know how to handle it now, after years of HoDL hardening...
Seems like Kraken is doing something good.
Posted to their "bitstampie" like trading view to install as an app.

Hey!
And a just released desktop tool for wall watchers, Kraken owned: https://cryptowat.ch/apps/desktop

Some moves are being made by other big crypto exchanges with ex-exec of gemini going to bitstamp.

So Kraken did need to do something to keep up with the joneses.

... it's actually a good thing, bitcoin could ruin paypal and if there's one bad implementation of legacy finance on the internet it is the abomination called paypal, that musk shat out when he didn't know any better.
The way big money corporations such as paypal, whos business is moving money around,
I wouldn't doubt they'd be looking for former experience in the space and who has had the primer of it than ex-boss of Mt.Gox

Paypal are green when it comes to cryptocurrency (they still have the clause 'can not use their services to buy cryptocurrency using paypal funds from another account holder' in their terms of service; they only want you to buy from them on their platform!
