5422  Other / Meta / Re: Forum Ban on: January 28, 2020, 11:16:51 AM
1. Do people ever chat privately  in this forum? I dout because everyone is scared of being ban, I have seen alot of ban on this forum seems they're even more than the active ones, please can the admin introduce temporary ban (warning)  before the permanent  ban?  Anybody can fall victim because ban appeal don't work I've seen so many complaints concerning it.
Yes you can chat privately here. Try to familiarize the Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ so that you'll never fear about a possible ban and AFAIK that if you get more temporary ban you'll get a permanent ban. LOL ban appeal works it's just that some are too long but mostly that depends on the case of the ban.

2. Forum should allow the use of profile pictures we're not ghost workers I don't even believe female exist on this forum.
You can get your profile avatar once you reach Full Member rank, you can get some information here: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?. I disagree, even on our local I know a few people that have an account here, I guess they just prefer not to disclose it.

3. Private chat should remain private.
I can't comment out if it's really private but I guess it's not.

My friend just cried to my house yesterday poor boy.
What a melodramatic friend you do have or is it just an alibi because it's your account that's been banned, am I making some sense?

Order ID: grdnoyxno88oocc8

I'm in. I guess Hhampuz you should clear to participants the end of submission for their unique ID's here in this thread, it seems that it hasn't been set yet or if I'm wrong does submission is still accepted until 10th of February as long as the draw not yet commencing?
5424  Economy / Reputation / Re: Selling download+reviews+ratings for money. on: January 28, 2020, 05:21:49 AM
Today another thread created by a newcomer. What do you think about it now? I think both are similar and deserve tag.
More likely it's his alt because the other one has negative tags in it. I think so too.

Selling review is a very specific theme, I can also look at it negatively. But, You can find paid reviews in many places.
What is any bounty campaign if not paid feedback and paid fake interest to project? Social media, contest, Reddit, blog... what we have here. Paid to post and spread the word on Twitter or Facebook is also "review selling" but we still have new campaigns opened every day. This is not just in the crypto world and bitcointalk forum, you can find paid "good words" in all niches.
I do not want to defend this user, I have no way of testing his service and I can't talk about them. But if we tag "paid review" in his case just because it's paid review, not based on the quality of his service, we must tag all bounty participants, Reddit upvote reseller, content writer etc...

It's just my opinion.
Well, let's not get out of the topic this is about Google Play and App Store giving fake reviews. The ToS of their service clearly don't tolerate such kind of act, it's totally fraud and what if the app contains malware or other things and the user downloaded it because of good reviews he just saw, were in fact fake reviews.
5425  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Poll - How did you find out about Bitcointalk? on: January 27, 2020, 03:07:29 PM
Actually I've just seen a few ads on the forum I used to lurk in but what really pushes me to go through was some acquaintances as well on that forum and they recommend that you'll earn money there. Honestly, that's the motivation that gets me here but as time goes by and start learning things here sometimes I put it aside from the learning I get here and one more thing this forum made my written communication with English quite improve since the set out to venture the bitcointalk space.
5426  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Posting on BitcoinTalk: how do I know when my post is "too long"? on: January 27, 2020, 04:44:43 AM
If you can't express it shortly there is no harm to do it more than that, as long as your post could be understood by the reader, that's all that matters. But a good post even when they're long do have to be some paragraphs rather than congesting it onto a single paragraph with 10 sentences around it, that's way not good IMO.
5427  Other / Off-topic / Re: Kobe Bryant's Death on: January 27, 2020, 04:18:02 AM
Well I did some research on his self owned chopper. They rate at a high safety level.

More then 1,000,000 miles per accident.

But he used it a lot a real lot. So I guess it was not as big of a surprise as I thought 💭.

Sad 😞 as a lot of people died. Nine people.

God bless them and the remaining family.
I thought it was just five as they were going to the basketball camp to train some kids and watch his daughter play that's also onboard. I condole for the rest of the bereaved family of those who lost. Just to tribute Kobe's greatness on the world of basketball I'd wear this profile text of mine saying "RIP". God bless them.
5428  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Become an Owner of 1 BTC - Only the brave and courageous wins! on: January 26, 2020, 04:27:23 PM
I just wanted to add, for you fellow 3rd world country bro's out there:
Hello, thanks for calling out on me bro Grin, Well, getting at least 0.1 BTC with the current price right now needs some effort and reliable source of income, yes, especially for us living on 3rd world countries (I guess this is way achievable faster on the last quarter of 2018). But in reality, even if you have the effort and the source most of it will be set aside into basic needs plus you have to deal with the ever unchanging inflation rate every year, those add up too.

As the subject says it's only for the courageous and the bravest of us all that'll make it own a 1 BTC. So, this is just my opinion and those have chances to own at least 1 BTC on 3rd world countries are those:
1. Those who are bachelors or joking aside those who have not a demanding GF Sad Undecided
2. Have the desire for crypto.
3. Not having an extended family (experience is a valuable lesson, you know what I mean),
4. Those who have bitcointalk account (go for the risky bounty then convert it to BTC or get some BTC for signature campaigns then HODL, trade, etc.,)
5. Those who have part-time getting a job that pays BTC or simply those who have part-time jobs.

Those that I mentioned above are just from my own perspective, feel free to add if you have some especially for 3rd world buddies here in the forum.

5429  Economy / Services / Re: Stolen Poker content on: January 26, 2020, 10:11:21 AM
To be honest, it isn't allowed and there's no way the forum will notice that those were stolen contents. If I were to the buyer since this isn't a selling platform I suggest to hire a trusted escrow that's way more reliable to do. The thing is even if DT tag them they'll just continue making another account to continue such fraudulent acts. I better buy on a trusted site in regards to these kinds of contents rather than taking the risk in buying here in the forum with some Newbies with no history of successful trades.
5430  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why now using merit? on: January 26, 2020, 05:06:19 AM
but whats is merit?
What is Merit?

Merit is a new system created in order to reward quality contributions to the forum. Now to rise through ranks you will also need to acquire Merit in addition to Activity.

why my account still newbie??  i remember my account is Jr member
You can read the whole information in this thread: Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements

By the way, welcome back to the forum. The merit is design to avoid countless spam that's been brought here in the forum. I think it's better this has been implemented and the outcome is really tremendous in a sense that spam really reduced. You can get some information a lot through here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats on some posts been merited from past and the recent plus other things like who's the most merited user in the forum, etc.
5431  Economy / Gambling / Re: Acewins.io - Bitcoin Poker | Free Entry to Tournament-250 USD in BTC Pool Prize on: January 25, 2020, 10:45:34 AM
And the tourney has been completed and I'm glad that I made to get a reward even for a total noob playing poker online along with some regulars from Acewins. Just a suggestion I guess it will be good for the chat room to be optional rather than getting it is seen aside, I know it's good to see that feature but if a player gets serious and want that to get rid of it that will be handy, I think.

Edit: I think I've found the answer to the chat issue I just said above and one more thing does it really goes to a minimum of 0.01 BTC withdrawal on your site, seems I didn't find it here on the OP. Really you have 0.00075 fixed fees too for withdrawal?
5432  Other / Meta / Re: Is this an error or forum really accept this kind of scenario. on: January 25, 2020, 07:58:37 AM
12. No duplicate posting in multiple boards (except for re-posting it in the local language boards if it's translated).
The good thing is he hasn't posted it on multiple boards because that means violating the unofficial forum rules but examining it I guess that is just an error on his part not that it's a forum fault.

I know that if you already post a topic or certain response the forum will prompt you that you already posted it. But why this post still reflecting on this?
I think there is no notification you'll be getting if you double your topic, I think it is just when you post a reply and you'll be notified that you already responded to it to prevent double posting I usually encounter that one when I get a slow internet connection but can't remember that notification to be honest.
5433  Economy / Gambling / Re: Acewins.io - Bitcoin Poker | Free Entry to Tournament-250 USD in BTC Pool Prize on: January 24, 2020, 05:38:10 PM
The tournament will be starting 14 hrs.+ from now, who's getting excited? Looks like there are only 42 entries (at the time of writing and 8 more to go for the 5th table) that registered but it's still plenty of time to register. By the way, when will be the topped up of chips happening is it before the contest? Does this first come first serve basis of registration on where table you'll be assigned or there is a draw lot on that?

Alarm on! Grin
5434  Other / Meta / Re: my topic was delete on: January 24, 2020, 02:14:57 PM
This is your topic http://loyce.club/archive/posts/5327/53278845.html that's been archived on Loycev's page. I don't know where this has been posted but if just a simple mistake that it isn't created on the appropriate board and reported then the mods will just move it to the board where it's intended to be but removing it, I guess there's another reason than that.

Please click the link above if you want to restore the text/theme, just a reminder don't create another topic first if this hasn't been resolved yet or no proper explanation from mods regarding putting your topic onto a trash can.
5435  Other / Meta / Re: Where’s this years happy second birthday to the Merit System’s thread? on: January 24, 2020, 10:45:15 AM
Happy Birthday, Merit System!

By the first anniversary of the merit system, I am already a member and got 12 merits and I'm thankful I already achieved a new rank during that time. I know that by my activity right now I will be a Hero member if the merit system hasn't been implemented but I am also thankful that shitposting has been reduced almost totally through this.

And if the Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements hasn't been implemented too I think I will not be persistent up to today to earn them. I'm glad to be part of that 66 Sr. Members that ranked-up. The merit system is not a failure and I'm proudly saying that it's a success.
5436  Other / Meta / Re: How to earn merit in 6 EASY steps! (2019-2020 Edition) on: January 24, 2020, 07:57:31 AM
1. Make a nice art.
2. Post it on the art contest thread by theymos
3. ? ? ?
4. La-di-da! Merit + btc prizes.

Feels like that wasn't old yet, anyways I don't think it will be done again by theymos but during that moment many (including myself) had the chance to get amounts of merits from different sources and I'm thankful to it that it made me Sr. Member right now. By the way, are you one of those users that missed the chance to earn there, am I right?

It isn't necessarily you have to create a topic to earn merit/s there are other ways you may earn them even just by replying to a certain topic like giving them valuable information, helping them or you somehow made them realize that what you said or replied is something funny and has sense of usefulness to a certain user. Just my two cents.

By the way, why does your title still for 2019?
5437  Other / Meta / Re: User spamming links to dark web markets on: January 24, 2020, 02:36:38 AM
He needs to be nuked IMO. I think he violated the unofficial rules number 11 and 17 and lots of other rules in there like posting on an inappropriate board for his topic. Though the links aren't that clickable still he is selling there some totally illegal products and the forum doesn't tolerate that to be honest.

Mods please nuke the user.
5438  Other / Meta / Re: lol at orange trust because of inactivity ! on: January 24, 2020, 01:28:27 AM
Examining your current post style and grammar it doesn't really match the previous posts you did, I am guessing that this account has been hacked. You should probably sign a message with this BTC address found on your posts 1BNmMbpCk1XzM4JXGC189jpnYPPEcxQxN7 to lift the doubts on your account.

I think you know to sign a message of your BTC address, am I right?
5439  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: scam spam on: January 23, 2020, 03:17:55 PM
Well, this kind of scam is purely for noobs if done recklessly then the chance is big to be a victim, it's always better not to click any links passed through emails or even logging in to a SSH is really not that secure too. GMAIL nowadays is some kind of annoying really because I experienced sometimes too that even a spam email is connecting with me but it didn't even filter the mail. So I look for an alternative email platform especially for the important emails I want to receive, you may try protonmail I guess.

i received the same email like that but what makes me surprised that they know the password of my email then after i read that i immediatly change my password for all my email.

then i confused why they can know my email password?
Change your password regularly to avoid the same case. Tough luck for you mate that they inform you first and haven't them change it maybe you have better security on your emails like 2FA.
5440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So...Is Bitcoin the ultimate coin that does not need more development? on: January 23, 2020, 12:15:01 PM
As subject goes, is Bitcoin the maximum version?
Seems this is a vague question there's no such thing as maximum version of it.

Is it still possible to develop it?

or

Can we still expect better coin than Bitcoin?
It is always on development and AFAIK I never heard of any that there's a better coin right now than Bitcoin and I think not even on another decades or even if the last bitcoin be mined.
