5421  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin finally crossed $4000 on: February 21, 2019, 08:08:29 PM
Too early to celebrate i think. $4K is great but we are still very away from the new all time high. It probably won't happen this year and maybe will happen in 2020. The chances goes much higher for 2021 though.
I would say 2020 would be enough already because we aren't sure if 2021 would be a great year for the bullish market. It might be another correction year for Bitcoin and most of us would suffer too much because we aren't ready for it and we expect the different outcome. And $4k would be the resistance but the market dropped already to $3.9k after a couple of hours. We shouldn't expect too much if we want to have a less worries.

True, we can see it going up and down, it hit $4000 and goes down again, i think it will be hard to see it going up to $4500 or higher. But something inside me want to see it going up to $20k again.

The only option now is to grab some popcorn and watch where the price goes.

This is what you get when you really know how to hold. Congrats to OP, looks like you know how to enjoy life  Cheesy

And i'm agreed with the title, bitcoin makes things possible, thanks to bitcoin i have an online job who pays my rent and life, and i even get a car with bitcoin. So, let keep enjoying life while bitcoin makes it possible for us!
5423  Other / Off-topic / Re: What if 100BTC is mistakenly sent to your wallet? on: February 19, 2019, 07:31:15 PM
lol, no one would return 100 btc, let's be honest with ourselves, if we get $400k we could quit working and travel for the next 10 years. The only motive we would return then is if we get under threats. For example, if those BTC was from the mafia and they know we have them, the smart move would be to send them back if we appreciate our lives.
5424  Other / Off-topic / Re: what do you think about electric cars? on: February 19, 2019, 07:27:02 PM
I don't know its good or not cause this cars are more smart, but cars on gasoline are more faster, so what do you think about this? Undecided

You mean they have better top speed, but that doesn't make them faster. The tesla roadster takes only 1.9seconds to go from 0 to 100, and that is faster than any fuel car. But Electric cars haven't got to 400km/h yet. But there are no roads for that speed so it's nonsense.

I like the electric cars, but i know that we need better batteries, that's the main issue now.
5425  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Shop directly on Amazon.com with Bitcoin on: February 19, 2019, 02:37:50 PM
Is a bad idea to use a browser extension to make this kind of payments, and worst if the extension asks us our auth to coinbase. Maybe OPhas good intentions, but another way he could easily hack our coinbase accounts like it already happens with another kind of extension. I would like to recommend to people who will install this to first take a look to the source code, and then try it.
5426  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin finally crossed $4000 on: February 19, 2019, 02:21:27 PM
Is nice to have this bump, as i always say, the only thing that we know about the price s that it will not stay frozen, it will move up or down but it will move. And this time it decided to go up, that's good for us, now let's watch how high it goes.
5427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The owner of Bet365.com pocketed $1,000,000 every day in 2017 on: February 18, 2019, 11:58:26 PM
I also believe in this one, just think of this idea. Why do casinos offers much like a comfortable and even grand place and freebies like water, juice, alcohol, etc. to its players even though they are winning a lot? It is because even though players won the jockpot many times, the house earned it also as many times as the winner in a row. Where do they get those high jockpots though? Maybe if someone wins, they get doubled.

Not every casino has similar returns. Bet365 is big. like REALLY BIGG!. I know about many casinos and online sportsbooks that are barely managing. Heck even, directbet couldn't keep up with the high bitcoin fees and was probably why they closed 2 years back. They have an edge, but players these days have many options. In order to make money they need volume which not all casinos have these days.

This is true, in theory, the casino profit is 1% of the bets, better known as house edge, if she gets 1 million daily that means the casino is getting more than $100M in bets each day, that's crazy I know, but bet365 is an enormous platform, so, it's possible for them to handle that volume.
5428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Perfect Dice experience on: February 18, 2019, 11:52:02 PM
Hey,

I was wondering about Dice games lately and what makes people choose particular platforms to play. I have my own reasons, but I'm really curious if yours are similar.

So my question is: What makes you choose the particular Dice platform and what are the most important aspects that makes you stay on it?

Bests,
bur4n

There are a lot of factors...

First of all the user interface, if the design or the colors ar a pain for the eye, then will be hard to be there. Another factor is the time between bets, that's an important factor because to wait between bets sucks, and another factor is the casino reputation, is always important to play on a site who will pay your wins no matter how big they are.
5429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - Eating your Brain and Money on: February 18, 2019, 11:45:47 PM
Gambling losing streak,

I’m into gambling for about months now, and in my first game I was able to generate profit enough to be happy, I continued for the rest of my 4 weeks of playing, sometimes its breakeven but I know its ok.

My friend invited me to play with him in casino this time, I have enough money to play for so I decided to say yes. Bad luck comes to me this time, at first my loss was about $500, so I know it is still fine and decided to continue, but the moment we stopped I think its too late now since I’ve already loss $3000, a very bad day for me. I’ve lost the money I’ve worked hard for.

This is an eye opener situation for me, and I’ve realized that gambling was slowly eating my brain and my money. Now I’m broke but still kickin, this can be the proof that chasing your losses is not good at all and it should be avoided. Have the same experience with me? Don’t hesitate to share and give some thoughts for those who are suffering from sitution like this.  Sad

That's why it's important to play with some rules...

*Never gamble with money that you are not ready to lose.
*set a goal because if you don't have a goal, then is hard to know when to stop.
*If you don't feel good or aren't having fun, better take a walk.

I ask myself : DoesTheSatoshiNakamotoHasASister

Opened brainwallet, passpharse uncompressed and got this address : 179Hzd6SEsyfrji7vUQHZzmko8nqcpxpAm , interesting prefix right ?

Damn, that was really close! i think the chances are like 1 in 100,000,000. LoL.

By the way, with that tesla p100 rig you could offer bruteforce services, i didn't know that kind of rig exist and after some googling i see enormous hashing power that rig has, nice piece of technology!.

https://poloniex.com/lending#BTC

There was a few nice slot wins today!

Dicing and got ten-time win at nearly 0.3 BTC in total.
I have never diced, but it looks profitable dicing in the BitDice platform.
How many BTC have you lost before won the latest dice?
That's really a big win, this is not achievable Everytime. Also one needs to be lucky enough to get back such a winning, also the courage to place such a bet is really appreciable. Bitdice provides with the increased probability of winning and also has provided with big wins of more than 300btc which I've never seen on any other casinos.
I've never tried to win like that in one play because mostly I won 200 dollars I think in one play but the total of the bitcoin which is 0.3 is thousands of dollars cost. I hope when I tried to play also dice game I will win more than that. Other people win more than 1 bitcoin. Maybe they have big capital for that and they are lucky on that day but maybe once you are unlucky you will lose it also.

Not every big win come from players with big capital, especially if we are talking about slots. I remember when I won 0.2btc+ from a 10k satoshi bet because I won big on the free spin feature. Low capital and big luck can give you big win as well. Keep trying but keep on your limit.

Agree with you, low capital with big luck could send us to the moon. I had never get the x1000 on slots, but after watching these images looks like is possible, so, i will give it a try soon. This makes me remember the guy who was on a live stream and hit the jackpot on BVC. Should feel nice to get one of these big wins.

5437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC on ESPN 1: Ngannou vs Velasquez Prediction and Info Thread on: February 18, 2019, 02:35:04 PM
I told you guys Ngannou was the easy money, still can't believe he was the underdog. Velasques was bumped by UFC but his time is over, he isn't a good fighter anymore. #SadButTrue

Now let's wait another 3 years for the next Velasquez fight.
5439  Economy / Gambling / Re: $0.70 to $7000. My high payout wins! on: February 17, 2019, 03:21:20 PM
Base on the title you have 0.70 and you won $7000 that's really true,? Because that is not real it is one of the highest win with very small capital incase but I don't think it's real. My capital is better than your but I can't win like that.  What is the purpose of having that post? Maybe I trust you if your capital is like hundreds dollars it is possible to reach that wins which is $7000.

Yes please see the bet below. This one is archived by PD, I need to download data first.

Are you telling us you hit x9900 with only one bet?

I know those multipliers are possible to hit, i have got a couple of x1000 in the past, but takes me close to 300 bets to get that multiplier, now i think about that x9900 should take tons of bets for sure.
5440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The HODL meme and its impact on Bitcoin on: February 16, 2019, 06:46:08 PM
Here is a good thread to read The HODL strategy is not actual. That thread was opened April of 2018, I check the current google trend and it looks like this:

I guess we can see the answer on the graph.

Hold isn't Holding! lol.

I think I'm not the only one who thinks in Spartans when we talk about hold. Did someone thinks about these images too?
