5421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: February 28, 2020, 02:24:40 PM
No matter how you keep a record of your losses if you can't control your urge of doing gambling, it will still not benefit you. The first thing that you have to do upon entering gambling is to set up your limits. You should know when to stop and when to continue. Allocating enough funds for gambling would be an effective strategy to control yourself.
5422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unfinished Projects on: February 28, 2020, 01:11:23 PM
the same way you need to think before you invest in any projects that have a finished product. this of course increases your chances of success but still does not give any guarantee. you need to think before any investment.

That's the reason why most investors are now trying to get rid of new projects because most of them don't get finished successfully. It's just that there are investors who are trying their luck by taking the risks. There are still a few successful projects so most of them are still trying to invest despite having no guarantee of gaining a profit through it.
5423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a failed experiment? on: February 28, 2020, 11:42:18 AM
You still have a little hope for Bitcoin. Long time holders have experienced more than that. I think it will be too early for you to give up. Investing with Bitcoin is like a roller coaster ride and you have to deal with every market situation. Bitcoin itself has a strong foundation so we don't have to blame it during the times that we're doubting. As you invest with Bitcoin, you should also have the courage to wait and have patience because there will always situations wherein its price would dropdown.
5424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My top 7 exchanges for trading on: February 28, 2020, 10:18:06 AM
There is no need to be told about exchanges such as: Binance, KuCoin, Bittrex, if you have experienced it and have done it in trading.

If I think of something about the members here, maybe 80% already use the trading site you mentioned, In my opinion they are trading sites that can be trusted and responsible.

This is definitely true. I have been trading using those three trusted exchanges for years and I have no doubt that they're providing a good service. Binance, despite all the controversies of hacking still remained trusted and operating smoothly. Trading using top exchanges is really an advantage and as important as choosing a coin to trade with.
5425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins so fragile compared to Bitcoin? on: February 28, 2020, 05:46:32 AM
Bitcoin is already known as the father of all coins so it has gained the trust of most investors. Merchants have chosen it as a mode of payment rather than other altcoins because it has shown huge potential. It has passed all the tests of time and if we'll look at its history, we could see how it went so far. It's well-established already and it could stand firm no matter what the market situation is compared to other altcoins.
5426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So are we in bullish times or Not?? on: February 27, 2020, 04:35:47 PM
We have been through this kind of situation and I don't consider it as bullish times. We might see the prices turning red but it's actually better than the previous market status. There are just correction times that we have to deal with. We all know that the dip is a part of cryptocurrency's volatility so I don't think we should get bothered by the current situation.
5427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach $5k in this up cycle ? on: February 27, 2020, 03:23:54 PM
Ethereum still needs to go through a lot before it reaches that value. We all know the history and the whole journey of Ethereum and it will be hard for it to reach $5K easily. It has huge potential but we shouldn't expect too much out of it because that might only lead us into disappointment. Just have patience and when Ethereum has gone through a process of developments and adoptions, it will surely hit a good price.
5428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bad News for Bitcoiners, The price will not go up at the Halving, but DOWN$! on: February 27, 2020, 01:21:12 PM
Many of us might consider that Bitcoin wouldn't help the price of Bitcoin to rise up but it will surely recover in time so there's no sense for us to be hopeless about investing. There's always hope in crypto especially in Bitcoin. We might not get rich through it instantly but it could still turn into a better market situation one day. Bitcoin has passed through a lot of tests of time so I don't think it will fail most of its investors.
5429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: One Altcoin to invest on: February 27, 2020, 10:49:13 AM
If I were you, I will just hold that 0.2 Bitcoin and just wait until the price gets better. Through that, you'll surely have the guarantee of gaining a good profit without risking your funds with altcoins especially now that almost altcoins have just turned red. If you really want to invest with altcoins, you better choose top coins with high potential.
5430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying low selling high ain't always successful on: February 27, 2020, 08:41:01 AM
Simply because the market is really unpredictable. No one really knows when the prices will go high or when will the dip approaches. Even reading the charts and listening to crypto professionals won't give us the guarantee and assurance of 100% accuracy of the future prices. The best thing that we can do is just to have patience and be hopeful of our holdings.
5431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: February 27, 2020, 07:45:58 AM
Earning money is real hard and it's a no-brainer. So basically what I do is I write down in a diary of my daily income along side with what I have sacrificed for earning that amount.

Yesterday night after finishing my own assignment, I worked as a freelancer from 12am to 2 am to complete an assignment based on electrical engineering to earn $20.

I wrote down in my diary - earnt $20 - sacrificed 2 hours of sleep, 2 hours of not watching netflix and put in mental effort when mentally I was exhausted.

Now when I would have the urge to gamble with that $20, I would just see the diary and would realize I am not just gambling with $20 but gambling with that sacrifice of time and effort which I'll never get back. And it has worked for me to a certain level.

What's your opinion on this......

That's a good and effective strategy. Sometimes, we have to remind ourselves that working just to earn money is really hard so we'll know how to spend it wisely. As for me, it's better if we'll allocate money for gambling only if we have more than enough to sustain our necessities.
We have to control our emotions and focus on our needs before our wants.

5433  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk is racist on: February 26, 2020, 03:27:18 PM
As for me, the best thing that they should do is just to ban spammers from those countries instead of generalizing and labeling them as low-quality posters. Deserving participants should still be given a chance. There are still great posters from those countries for sure that are worth paying. Anyway, that's their decision and we can't control it. Maybe they see that as a way to improve their site easily.
5434  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona Virus is a Fake Flag to destroy China! on: February 26, 2020, 01:52:43 PM
I don't think coronavirus was planned just to pursue the release of a new coin. I think that's too much because they could release their own coin better if all is well in China. A part of me believes that the Corona virus was planned to destroy China but I don't see the connection of it with cryptocurrency.
5435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus ain't helping on: February 26, 2020, 12:24:07 PM
Coronavirus has been affecting most countries particularly in Asia but I don't think it's affecting cryptocurrency that much.
Crypto could actually help countries that are affected by the virus through online transactions which could help people franchise goods online. I just hope that they could find a cure for this sickness because it's starting to take away lots of lives. People who are trying to stay indoors for their safety purposes could also switch to crypto usage to avoid direct contact while transacting.
5436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT BITCOIN on: February 26, 2020, 10:51:11 AM
One of the common mistake of most beginners is investing without enough knowledge and their wrong interpretation of Bitcoin. They only see it as a shortcut to success without knowing about its risks. It's a good thing that he has found the right person to ask about Bitcoin. It's also an advantage that he's willing and eager to learn everything about it. The best thing that we can do to help beginners and newbies is to be an eyeopener for them to know that crypto investment couldn't make us rich instantly and teach them to invest what they could only afford to lose.
5437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good or bad plan? on: February 26, 2020, 09:54:04 AM
I could still see the current situation of the market as a positive thing. It's actually not the bottom because as we'll take a look at the history of Bitcoin, we could see that it has already reached the real bottom. As for me, there are just lots of current events that are affecting the market either positively or negatively. I believe that the Bitcoin halving would affect the market positively so we have to expect the best out of the current situation of the market. Corona virus will still pass and I don't think it's affecting the market that much.

5439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you looking at tokens that are not top 50? on: February 25, 2020, 03:05:44 PM
Just like me and I also have assets that are under the top 50, some are even not in the top 100 list. It does look doubtful, but there are clear considerations that are our fundamental reasons for holding it and believe it will be an investment that can provide profits.

I have been holding altcoins that aren't on top of the list as well. I gained most of it from the bounty campaigns that I have joined before but I'm not losing hope that the prices of my assets will go better in the future. There's no harm in risk-taking as long as we're not losing most of our funds because there are still lots of potential altcoins that could grow unexpectedly in the future.
5440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As a Bounty hunter, don't expect too much on: February 25, 2020, 02:04:31 PM
Gold times of Bounty hunters are gone

I do not believe that gold times are gone, i rather term it that an opportunity was lost and there will be more opportunities.

Bounty Hunting is best enjoyed when its a side job done on your leisures, this helps you to screen, scrutinize, examine and choose Bounties to join.

If you are a full timer Bounty hunter, then you are wrong because until you learn patience and patience, you could get to work for several unpaid projects.

Don't expect too much from Bounty tokens, but make most of your participation by learning and applying knowledge

There's always a season for everything and it might not the beat time for bounty hunting. However, I still have my hopes for bounty hunting and I believe that we will gain a good profit through it again in time. Bounty hunting is like a trial and error where there's no guarantee that we could get paid with good value of tokens. We shouldn't expect too much so we'll never feel disappointed in the end.
