5421  Local / India / Re: india bitcoin rules on: February 02, 2020, 10:12:54 AM
I believe that the Government of India will legalize the crypto currency call,
That is a big assumption to make without valid proof to back it. You understand the level of bullishness that the market would show if one fine day a country's government legalizes crypto? Its way way logshot considering the blanket ban currently in effect.

Quote
which is the most important country in the country, who is regulating the currency status!
You have no idea how this works do you? Cheesy

Quote
there is big scope in this country for the investors,
Surely but the politicians dont think that way. They need more money for their Swiss banks account.

Quote
i visited india last year, and i think their is big scope if the government of india approve to use to bitcoin.
The problem is that you only saw a glimpse and not real (<make that "Dirty") picture. Grin
5422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Options is a bit overwhelming for me. Any Suggestions to make it easier? on: February 02, 2020, 09:11:54 AM
No matter what platform it is, crypto, forex or stocks what we really need is to know the basics of trading to read charts and patterns as well to understand whether to know the market. Learning the market and how trade is what matters most.
While I agree that learning how the market works is of utmost important, it is also important to time your entry and exit in the market.

Most traders jump in the fray when the excitement of the panic stages are going on buying high and selling low which is the mistake.

The time to buy is when panic occurs, but then the question comes would you buy something that is causing a panic sell? Answer is yes, if you have a solid belief that the asset is worth money - this is true for bitcoin and partially true for altcoins.

Same goes with stocks though they are more influenced by politics and have a very regulated market.
5423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: two gambling games that are players favorite on: February 02, 2020, 09:05:58 AM
If you only play with other players than yes it is +EV but apparently most sites will take a commission or rake which is 1% or lower, so in the end you still have a sort of house edge.
Well commission is taken from wager whether you win or not isnt it? Its similar to a trading fee taken to execute a trade. So I wont say it is like house edge. Be cause the edge is a percentage that the house has over its players when they are selecting the side on which the dice will roll. While a commission is like a predetermined amount to be deducted from every wager. They are two fundamentally different concepts.

Quote
Also, because only a few players will win the pot to share,,, you have to be really good to make it to a prize. It is definitely not for the average gambler like me!
Some of the gamblers actually work on their skills in EV+ games like poker. Its not for everyone of course.
5424  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is the best way of selling small amount of bitcoin to tether? on: February 02, 2020, 08:59:01 AM
@Brew,
If your amount of bitcoin to be exchanged is small say around less than 0.1 BTC then you may be able to sell on some of the more popular centralized exchanges without having to pass any KYC and get USDT in return.

Going for Electrum and then having to export them private keys to another website seems more of a heckle if you are never done i before but there always is a first time to everything so its up to you to decide.

Be careful about wrongly sending funds to a wrong wallet. There are ways to correct it but I prefer to be informed and safe than sorry.
5425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading for Beginners? on: February 02, 2020, 08:55:07 AM
Many beginner mind set is trading means a biggest profitable platform, this is a vice versa they didn't think, where from who will make money in every month, it's true so much traders take it full time job.
I would not suggest someone to take trading as a full time job. It cant be unless you have been trading for a long period of time but then the question by the OP becomes redundant since they asked for beginners.

When it comes trading, it’s must that we do it in a very proper and careful way because it’s too challenging otherwise. I find it super easy and comfortable with -----snip---- broker. It’s one of the kind that always helps with trading and allows us to perform well, so that’s where it becomes so good working with them.
Forex is not same as cryptocurrency trading. The topic is about the later. Also do not promote some site like that. Give the reason why you think they are good instead of saying they are good. Provide proofs then we can talk here. Wink

For Trading you must have a plan how many percentage you daily want on your portfolio and don't take risks in starting point
That is not everything. You may have a plan of a certain percentage but never reach it. It is important to know how to read the price charts and keep on going with the market even when you think it becomes boring but not trade - for a beginner.
5426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Forks were profitable today - what happened? on: February 01, 2020, 09:10:20 AM
99% of the community here hates Faketoshi,
I am stressing that bolded word. The community here is bigger than the BCH shills, I hope.

Quote
so who is really buying BitcoinSV?
The BCH shills? Or some other brain dead venture capitalist who wants to join the fray and make some quick returns with CSW/RV. Point is that these venture capitalists are not completely brain dead, even though I just said so. They will exit at a sudden moment and make the market crash too leaving the shills crying but CSW already knows about that because it was an NDA contract. Grin

Quote
Probably himself to show us how stupid we are? But at the end we will see who is really thickheaded.
I dont think it is necessary. Those who know what bitcoin is the real bitcoin can jus continue telling the truth and nothing more. Those who want to go the other way, you can not stop them. Let them understand mistakes and come back.
5427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK gamblers cannot use Credit Cards for gambling from April 14, 2020 on: February 01, 2020, 09:06:50 AM
It will still benefit those gamblers who are abusing their credit cards for gambling but they will surely still find another mode of the transaction just to pursue playing.
It is an exaggeration to say that they were abusing credit cards. They have some limits obviously but for addicted gamblers they are probably hitting these limits very quickly. The news says a later date, there might be some changes before that. Some of them who dont want such a change might cut down on their habits or look for alternatives.

Quote
As long as crypto gambling is legal in their country, no one could stop players to gamble because there are still alternative ways except for credit cards.
Except that everyone does not own not know about bitcoin and its usage. The online casinos are available in many countries but starting to use them is a new challange and as humans are by nature, they dont like a new thing to learn or change.
5428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk management , how ? on: February 01, 2020, 08:59:16 AM
successful trading is about managing risk minimising it as possible  as we can , i have read that with correct risk management even with flipping a coin we can do trading and be profitable

Quote
i want to know what methods/rules  are there to minimise risks

1.You can minimize risk by reducing the size of your portfolio.

Risk comes from the volatile altcoins that people become enthusiastic about and move on to those from bitcoin. They forget that bitcoin is what is going to be the biggest coin in the future and fall for the false promises of some shitcoin. So reduce your portfolio and keep bitcoin to the maximum if not 100%.

2. Move to other sectors that just cryptocurrencies. But this depends on your expertise. This helps mainly during the times when crypto is dumping and other market are rising.

3. The internet is full of paid media articles. Stop reading them and the reddit channels on crypto. Its more like breeding grounds for waste of time conspiracies there. Use your own research to develop your own charts and use them to buy/sell and observe how you progress.

Remember that trading is not everyone's ballgame. You may fail at which point it is wise to quit.
5429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Music streaming services which accept crypto? on: February 01, 2020, 08:53:13 AM
there are many crypto/music projects before and yes one of them was viberate  . i recognize it but i forgot the name of the others.
It was music related project but not a music streaming service. It is for locating and buying tickets to local concerts and programs.

Quote
its hard to compete with the music industries knowing that there are now giants like spotify and youtube too  .
both big platforms are popular and free   , so people will usually end up on here than searching for other unpopular alternatives  .  though these platforms offers premium subsricption too and would be better if they suport crypto payments  .
I am not really bullish about any music related cryptocurrency project. End of the day every music content is pirated like anything next to movies. Again like I said in my previous post, the bitcoin users are majorly associated with the bittorrent and p2p concepts. So they are not going to pay very likely unless someone is passionate to support the musicians.
5430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Bustabit) How often do long streaks of red come? on: January 31, 2020, 09:01:12 AM
Does anyone have any idea how often let's say 15-20 red streak come and go? Would like people who have somewhat of an idea, thanks!
First thing first, bustabit is a legit site and it is not specific to them. If you create a similar algorithm yourself and try that then also the probability to having a red streak on a certain multiplier is mathematically found but that is again a probable outcome  or the most commonly seen outcomes. It may not be the same when you play and in rare cases you might find that the outcome is not close the calculated result.

I have tried the Seuntjie's dicebot !odds command on Primedice and Stake chatrooms. It gives you an idea of when the red streak will come but again it is not absolute. But I am yet to see any commands from Seuntjie for how long the streak may be.

This according to me dependent on your luck. You may get a nice green streak on a high multiplier (be sure to stop when this happens and cash the profit) OR, you may get a huge red streak on a very small multiplier.
5431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Quiet Bounty Time on: January 31, 2020, 08:54:51 AM
Bounty section on this forum is now very quiet compare to last year, why is that? Now that bull run is in motion what is stopping new developers from releasing their project?
Bull market pushed some vaporware, that is correct and the craze was big at that time. Currently the market is in a slow phase of movements and that is attributable to the less activity in bounty section. Added to this is the fact that many ICOs towards the later part of the 2017-18 failed to reach any good financial support level.

Quote
Or maybe they don't have any more idea?
They never actually did have any. It was mostly hype. Dont think that people have learnt a lesson. They will be back like dogs again when market becomes bullish to commit the same mistakes and lose more money.

Quote
Even scam projects are greatly reduced
This I disagree. Scammers are always there since time immemorial.
5432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Talk on: January 31, 2020, 08:51:38 AM
What is cryptotalk.org and why is it on everyone's profile?
CT is the forum of yobit, one of the abominations of exchanges out in this market. Good for dumping your shitcoins if you are a bounty spammer. They were running a campaign which ended this last week and now you will see a gradual decrease in their signatures because the participants will move to other signatures. Not everyone was in it though, but many users were taking part in it.

Quote
Is it like bitcointalk and does it also have campaigns?
Fellow bitcointalk user, you need to understand that the biggest traffic share for the bitcoin users is this forum and so other smaller and newly created forums want to predate the traffic from this forum. Not the opposite way. The CT forum is a breeding ground for spamming and spammers get paid to spam. So if you are into spamming to get paid, go there.
5433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO legalities in 2020? on: January 31, 2020, 08:45:25 AM
Agree, if now we want to invest in the Crypto world we better invest in the top coins like ETH, EOS or BNB.
Wrong. The best investment for long term is bitcoin and for short term is any shitcoin that you like, specially the ones you mentioned with the high probability of BNB being a ponzi as in borderline ponzi and EOS being a complete shitcoin with no real usage that is commendable to bitcoin or even close to it.

Quote
The ICO world is dead now, many people no longer believe in ICO projects, and although now it is trending with the IEO project but I see it does not make investors interested to invest.
LOL, IEO is just a rebranding of ICO. Since these people who are wannabe venture capitalists are looking for new method to lose their money the people running the ICOs (read, scams disguised as coin offerings) renamed ICO>IEO to make people forget the bead effects and bad name of IEO. It actually fooled a lot of the investors who are too dumb to use their brains.
5434  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan request, 0.025 BTC on: January 30, 2020, 09:16:06 AM
Seriously, a threat?
If you were going to need money you would not feel it as a threat but handle it logically, which you have failed to do so.

Negative internet points from a forum that's getting too old to even understand NFT?
Your conclusion of why negative trust might be given is wrong. Asking a non-collateral loan from an account with no prior trade feedback is risky. It is done to alert newbies from getting scammed.

Quote
By all means, sink my account to hell with negative trust. I ain't no locking this account.
Of course, you are a troll. Cheesy

Quote
Oh, before I start receiving such “negative trust”, two things: I'll save this to the internet archive, as it's the most hilarious threat I've received,
Attention-whore much?

Quote
and the other thing: you want a high ROI without the risk. There's a name for that.
Visit your local bank an pawn some valuable if you have any if you are in dire need.

I have heard that platforms like Celsius and Nexo are giving out loans for altcoins as collateral. Not sure if NFTs are accepted there. Now use your sane judgement: if they dont accept NFTs as collateral what make you think p2p lenders here would?
5435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Air, Water, Bitcoin on: January 30, 2020, 08:09:23 AM
Sure, bitcoin ain't there yet. Opperative word being 'yet'.
Sure more things aint there? Is it? You can keep speculating and thinking more and more but you would be wasting time because you are not the ones developing bitcoin core. What needs more work in the adoption of bitcoin use by public and merchants accepting bitcoin. This is still very cultish and needs more honest entrepreneurs and not shitcoins that are pump and dump. Apart from the fact that it is rare to find such projects.

Quote
The internet itself is still relatively young and evolving rapidly.
Is that not applicable to everything that you can think of? Your judgement is clouded by biased opinions. Not saying that bitcoin would not be big, but the mode of making a conclusion from your side is wrong.
5436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: January 30, 2020, 08:03:17 AM
I definitely agreed to you sir, were Ethereum is not a shitcoin, it was one of the promising altcoins actually in the market of cryptocurrency.
And one of the most useful platform too in terms of every new project arises in this field of business of crypto as well. Sometimes, we need to be very careful in bestowing like this things here in the forum.
Look, its a subjective opinion. For someone who managed to sell ethereum at the proper time and make money it is not a shitcoin. For someone who was stubborn enough to hodl during a drop would believe it is a shitcoin. Thing is one can hold bitcoin for long periods of time and then sell at good profit but would not be the same with other coins.

Back to the OP, I think you should be careful like I said in my previous comment. You cannot trust anyone on this market and this I cannot stress enough. The site you are speaking of, may just be making up stuff and trying to pump some coin at the expense of another coin. Good luck making money from watching them.
5437  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BITTREX account HACKED - having 2FA ON on: January 29, 2020, 11:38:58 AM
No. A different story would happen if the hacker got the key that was used to bind the 2FA. But, I'm not sure if OP is stupid enough to give away that to a random site even if it looks identical to Bittrex website. After all, no exchange would request your 2FA key again if you login from a new IP.
What if the OP did give away the 30-60 second key to the phishing site? More than once maybe? Does that give the hacker enough data as to compute the next 2FA code? It is recommended not to "give" your 2FA to a fraud caller - similar is the case here if you draw an analogy as the phishing site as a fraud caller.

Once the hacker has that the login id is already given away and so they have complete access the account.
5438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: January 29, 2020, 07:22:36 AM
there were times that I lose control of the hour, sometimes I spend 3 hours to the most when I am winning and it's my lucky day, I usually spend an hour to gamble and minimal funds this is to keep up with my favorite platform and while taking my time in my posts gap, and I can say that I'm not really into gambling only in my spare time.
I think you are doing fine with gambling as long you are not spending too much time on it. All you need to do now is to do a bankroll management. Do not spend more than 10% of your bankroll and keep track of how much you are spending on gambling. What you need to avoid is chasing losses. Remember that you are gambling to have fun and not chase out losses that you have made, but accept them. That should help you decide whether you want to continue gambling or not.

I think this type of self-policing would help prevent becoming addicted to gambling. Dont forget to take care of household chores and work smoothly too.
5439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uber or Airbnb running on bitcoin on: January 29, 2020, 07:04:02 AM
10 years have gone by since bitcoin was introduced and yet it is not in a position to become mainstream currency.
But mainstream projects like Uber and Airbnb as this topic discusses are not interested in them. It would be a huge bullish news if such was to happen and besides the fact that some altcoin projects started on similar businesses there has not been much of a traction in this sector with crypto payments.
Quote
Either bitcoin has not much potential to become a mainstream currency or there is too much opposing power of fiat and local governments who try every tactics to discourage the use of bitcoin as a currency.
Sure but you can ask your bitcoin seller/buyer to exchange bitcoin to fiat and use that to pay for Uber but it thus becomes a two-step process and that is what is not the proper design. Still it is the closest we can get if we want to use bitcoin only for all transactions which is itself a challenge.

Maybe in future we will see more ride-sharing apps that develop their own blockchain and then you can pay that crypto to hail a cab.
5440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can i coin bounty camping on: January 29, 2020, 06:56:02 AM
You have abused bounties using more than one account. That is cheating. How do you even expect yourself to be accepted in a campaign then you have been proven to cheat them of the bounty funds that are not rightfully yours?

You have some balls coming up here with this question. Shows that you did not learn from your mistakes and neither are you willing to stop these bad habits. You could post in "Reputation" if you wanted to appeal for your red trust but I am 100% sure these will not be removed.

Now dont come saying you did not know that using more than one account would get you red trust. You were dishonest and you have to suffer for that.
