5421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling tax proposal in Ukraine on: June 08, 2021, 06:02:48 AM
Since you saying it's a proposal depending on how the affected parties react...tax rate could go lower but I see a drop in gambling companies and a barrier to entry for new players in this industry.

But why tax gambling now are Ukrainians gambling alot? Thought with the Corona pandemic gambling was expected to be on the rise.

Nothing to be shocked and heck 10% is something reasonable compare into other states or countries which does have outrageous taxation percentage.

We cant tell on whats the reason on sudden change but with due common sense then its understandable that they would really be needing some add up
not only for sake of economy but also with that pandemic situation i presume.

Taxation is never been bad as long it would be handled out correctly. Bad news for those who do tempt to make a new business but actually its for the own good.

I do agree that 10% is considerably low as compared to other countries.
Just to get an idea where they are positioned at, in terms of gambling tax rate.

This article was only last year. So the rates may have not changed significantly as compared today.
As long as the government is putting those funds into good use, that would be fine.

https://www.casino.org/blog/comparing-gambling-taxes-around-the-world/

Clearly these high tax rates show the intention of the government which is to discourage gambling by its citizens and maybe try to indirectly try to push its people in much more constructive activitiesthan gambling as the govt  sees gambling to have a negative effect on a person and reduce their productivity at work if they keep this up.
5422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 07, 2021, 11:07:31 AM
Whats with these hyped boxing matches ending in draws...first it was the Tyson match now this one this is becoming ridiculous, deception to say the least.

I wonder how much the bookies have banked off this match after pundits going for either TMT or YouTube kid all lost their wagers.

I must say Logan did go an extra mile which was nice to see but Floyd insists that he was simply  putting up a show  Tongue how's about that, for goodness sake Logan was so wasteful with his punches👊 he might have thrown more but he had a low landing rate!

Anyway a draw was enough for both of them.
5423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall from 65k to $30k was the best thing to ever happen to Bitcoin on: June 07, 2021, 01:51:48 AM
From how OP has explained I do agree that there is some good coming from the crash, and the benefits outweigh the bad effects of it.

Of course things like investors confidence will be hurt but like people say one man's treasure is another man's trash **should be the other way round  Roll Eyes** but you get my point...you could choose to dump the coins but others are on the side line waiting to buy the dip.

And the crash got free marketing and have others an opportunity to enter the market.
5424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 07, 2021, 12:33:02 AM
So it looks like Erling Haaland is not going any where after Borussia Dortmund slapped a huge price tag on the Norwegian strike which means no one is ready to break the bank and likely another season to be spent at BVB.

I personally think Georginio Wijnaldum's move to PSG will get him regular football unlike in Barcelona. There is a way they (Barcelona) kind of fuck up with the new signings lately... speaking of which, why is Barcelona interested in signing players of 30 year + lately?
I totally agree, players moving to Barcelona and are hoping to get game time usually don't and if that's what you want avoid teams like Barca, these guys can put your career and love for football on the rocks🪨 as the bench you for most of the season.
5425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the older Meme coins a good investment? on: June 06, 2021, 11:59:09 PM
For me that's a yes and no!

If you are an aggressive trader you know there is buy and dump strategy so you could buy at a dip and dump at the right price when its pumped which leaves you with some profit.

And when we say meme coins been a good investment it can only be dogecoin to be honest because the rest don't have a hype man like Elon and I hate to admit the guy is a force in the business.
5426  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip, and HODL! on: June 06, 2021, 11:57:48 PM
Buying every dip seems like an expensive undertaking for certain coins to be honest, but if the price is right then you could have a target of how many coins you want of this type buying.
If this is the strategy then it's best to go fish for altcoins otherwise buying at every dip would be something done by the big fish(whales) not retail traders (us)
5427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What online betting company you know gave you a b'day present? on: June 06, 2021, 11:52:29 PM
Oh yes did experience the same with 1xbet and the actually gave me two different presents 🎁 during the year one was a birthday present and anniversary present...I honestly thought that was cool but these guys still need to work on their reputation despite been everywhere these days.
5428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand on: June 06, 2021, 11:48:41 PM
It depends who you ask, the younger guys will certainly say something like it's the new digital gold which is an equivalent to fiat while the older generation might not have an idea about it but of course with a little explanation they will catch on,but with some  extra patience because the topic of bitcoin sounds like a ponzi when you explaining it to someone.
5429  Bitcoin / Press / [2021-06-06] Senators Urge Crackdown On Crypto As Ransom Payment After Gas Pipe, on: June 06, 2021, 06:58:31 PM
Senators Urge Crackdown On Crypto As Ransom Payment After Gas Pipe, Meat Plant Hacks

After a second widespread ransomware attack in less than one month, two senators on the Intelligence Committee suggested Sunday that lawmakers should take increased measures to regulate and trace cryptocurrencies, the medium of exchange that’s become popular among hackers for allowing transactions to remain anonymous.

KEY FACTS
In an appearance on NBC News’ Meet the Press, Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) said, “The only way you can begin to get on top” of the “pervasive” ransomware problem is “to develop a pattern,” before launching into a critique of the anonymity provided by cryptocurrencies often used to pay ransoms.

5430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 06, 2021, 06:43:24 PM
The day is finally upon us… Old Floyd vs the YouTube kid. Logan weighed 35lbs more than Floyd at the weigh in, and will probably enter the ring 45lbs heavier. He’s definitely got a punchers chance. I hope he’s able to capitalize on it.
I hate the fact that Mayweather has this habit of accepting challenges from amateurs and calling himself the best fighter but am hoping this YouTube kid can turn out to be boy wonder and fight against the odds.

His weight could work in his advantage provided his not throwing punches that are not landing, this could go against him and tire him out.

Just a few more hours and we’ll see just what sort of spectacle this fight will be. I just hope we see a KO.
Too much hype, KO will be overkill.
5431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BNB the new ETH killer on: June 06, 2021, 06:08:11 PM
In my books bnb is so much better than eth in so many ways ,but what separates the two is eth has so many projects docked on its blockchain and shifting these projects onto another blockchain would cost a lot of money for the project which they dread and not forgetting this could potentially compromise hodlers Holdings who might not have the know how on how to migrate to the new chain.

But with time we all are going to realize that bnb has many benefits to enjoy than using eth.
5432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risks from large financial institutions entering the crypto market . on: June 06, 2021, 05:59:34 PM
Financial institutions using crypto to give stake holders  their financial position I don't think so!

Big financial institutions are likely to be using crypto as another investment from many other invests.
Quote
+Financial institutions are likely to use crypto in the art of accounting like Tesla did with BTC. Crypto will become a tool to manipulate financial reporting metrics rather than an investment;
Cooking numbers you mean...not as easy as it sounds, and btc was another investment that was taken by Tesla and not that the company went all crypto.
5433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOLDING VS TAKING PROFITS DURING BULL RUN on: June 06, 2021, 08:11:27 AM
To make this process is we need to apply the rules of "buy low and sell high " once you perfect this strategy you can never be caught in a trade.

I think we should hold if markets don't go in our direction as we waiting for price to go higher but should market be in the direction we anticipated then we simply take profits. Simple and easy strategy to follow.
5434  Economy / Services / Re: 1xbit.com honest review campaign (open) on: June 06, 2021, 07:58:08 AM
Here goes my review, when you visit the website you are greeted by nice visuals which I have no problem with and the orange blended theme screams crypto probably inspired from bitcoins orange which is not so bright for me,and I like.

Registration
This is one of the fastest registration processes you will ever see and this is commendable. Players that want to play without really giving so much info about themselves will appreciate the one-click Registration.

Deposits

Here players are spoilt for choice and you have over 20 ways to fund your account but with the crypto world fusing with the real world 🌎  fiat ways of funding an account should be introduced.

Bonuses
This should be everyone's interest, here you have several ways to earn a bonus  you take advantage of the deposit bonus or you could play regularly and earn bonus points too, another feature not sure if it a bonus is an advancebet you could wager and if you have a running bet and are out of a balance this allows you to place bets on condition that the previous game is a winner.

5435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 06, 2021, 07:05:06 AM
It's okay to pray before you gamble but other religions or certain dominations will say this is something evil...why because they believe this is a source of greed and greed has no place in the church!

But I guess a prayer should include asking overcoming the temptation of greed and also gaining guidance to make good decisions.
5436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should be taxed on: June 06, 2021, 06:57:54 AM
In Ron Paul's view, bitcoin is money, and it should be taxed as such. How do you view this information?
In the real world why do people get taxed? Because our governments do provide some kind of service to the community unlike in the crypto world were I think there have nothing to do with this....if you said services like electricity we already pay for that using fiat.

So why should I pay tax for my crypto when the governmenthas no hand in it?
5437  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What's your favorite way to earn Cryptos? on: June 06, 2021, 03:52:06 AM
Not sure if gambling is considered has a way of earning but I do gamble to grow my crypto which carries a lot of risk by the way.

I also trade to earn some extra coins

and the usual bounty hunting and signature campaigns, the last two should be the most common and easy to do
5438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Many Different Coins Do You Own? Me = 11 on: June 06, 2021, 03:36:27 AM
I have over a 100 altcoins spread across 4 different blockchains, most from bounties and some didn't see a day on an exchange so their just my shit coins with no value, and I have coins on my watch list am hoping for a pump then I will be a very happy crypto  hodler should things work out as planned, wish me luck guys.
5439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost all my crypto gains this not fair! on: June 05, 2021, 08:48:04 PM
I had 3k on pancakeswap and did almost 4x now is return to break even.
I had Ethereum 4.7 now its 2k
I had ada $2 now is 1.5
Also I lost in ogn

I lost a lot of money on crypto more than 8000$

Is it recoverble this year?
Markets are currently  experiencing lots of negative sentiments from different walks of life and to be honest  we have to look for new reasons for markets to rebound once again and at the moment nothing promising is in the pipe line keep holding good luck
5440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: June 05, 2021, 08:28:13 PM

I would like to know what really causes gambling addiction because everywhere in the world of Gambling people will advice
on  how to address Gambling problems and they have gone an extra mile to offer some one to talk to about this problem....so where is the real problem.

Why is it that the negatives were only stated? Gambling is a big contributor a country's economy, think about Las Vegas, Macau and other countries that have been opened and known to be the gambling capitals.
Very true for those running a gambling business am without a doubt that this is a profitable business and to some players they have found a profitable way of playing their favorite games.
