5441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people keep playing unlicensed, illegal slot machines? on: September 24, 2020, 03:31:12 PM
Our neighbor had this kind of slot machine and they called it "Bar Bar" it is one of the exact slot machines you are talking about. In our village, people always want to play this game, and lots of kids are addicted to this. that's why the authority won't allow this game and whoever caught having this in their house will be fined and sometimes if they caught, they served months of sentence in jail like what happened to our neighbor. You can see in this picture what I am talking about. note: these are not my neighbors, there are different people but the same illegal activity.  Grin Grin

5442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain and Bitcoin adoption globally. What is the cause of the slow pace. on: September 24, 2020, 02:20:15 PM
You see, more than a decade is not really that long. especially we had some serious misconceptions along the way until we have reached this far. lots of criticisms, negative speculation, and other bad stuffs threw at us throughout these years. However, we have a long way to go to see the result of each of our works to promote Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. The beginning is always hard or difficult but after this long run and after the misconceptions are cleared, we will see some great news one after another and no more criticisms since people will know the truth that Bitcoin and blockchain were only being used by those crooks to give bad names to this industry.

5443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 24, 2020, 01:50:38 PM
So what shall I say? HEAT in 5? Will the HEAT would end the series in 5 to rest early? The game tonight was really exciting, it was Heat who are leading most of the time but Celtics didn't give up, they have so much talent but heat was more on a good chemistry as a team, a rookie putting his team on his shoulder? That's the big news.

The game tonight was unexpected because everybody eyes's are on Jimmy Butler but suddenly the one of the youngest rookie player in the league took the spotlight by giving all his best, managed to out scored Boston up to the final quarter and win the game which give them the lead 3-1 in the Eastern Conference Final.

Tyler Herro has made an outstanding record that not even the NBA all-star has ever made on their career. He passes Wade's record for the youngest who got 20+ points in a playoff game and in the Eastern Conference Final.

5444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin a sure legacy on: September 24, 2020, 01:20:37 PM
I agree that bitcoin is an asset in the future, even for the children and grandchildren, it can be inherited with the condition that the bitcoin wallet is included with the grandchildren, if the wallet is hidden, the children and grandchildren cannot feel the inheritance.

Yeah! this is no doubt the case for the one who really wants to keep it as a legacy to their children's in the future. However, unlike any other assets, Bitcoin should keep along with the instructions to use it. because there are some possibilities that the one who will take it in the future won't have the knowledge to use it. This discussion has been posted for about a year right now, I'm sure the topic about how we can successfully save btc to make it as an inheritance to our kids is here. You are free to search it here in bitcoin discussion.
5445  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Covid masks are dual-use for privacy on: September 23, 2020, 04:00:09 PM
Yeah! crminals also have some advantages with this so-called new normal. In our city alone, shooting incidents is highly intraceble. Those criminals can get away easily now. Even the CCTV cannot give us any enlightenment about the crime and most of the time we can not see them through the CCTV's installed in the city proper. It is because of the damn mask people doing crimes cannot be trace that easily anymore because everyone in the town is wearing the damn mask.

This is just an alibi! they need think another alternative method or all those criminals can shoot whoever they want even though in the middle of the day in the city proper.
5446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: September 23, 2020, 03:25:19 PM
My best solution to prevent to become addictive is to create a paper wallet which I cannot easily reach and transfer 50% of my winnings to. So if I lost after that, I am not able to redeposit all to chase my losses. For me this works very well.

That's a clever Idea and you are the only one doing that so far. I see, when you already transferred some BTC to your paper wallet, you will have some hard time getting it back or I may sat it takes a lot of time that would make you stop playing whenever you run out of money in the gambling site without getting some money from that paper wallet. However, If the gambler pursue to play even though he runs out of money from playing and decide to get some BTC in his paper wallet, he may ended up losing everything inside that wallet. You may say this has not happen to you but I was just talking about the tendency that this could be happened if greed cannot be stopped.
5447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if you invested a $1 in Bitcoin every day for 5 years on: September 23, 2020, 03:03:07 PM
This has been discussed several years ago, they have made some deep analysis of when someone invested $1 every day in BTC. well, everytime the price of bitcoin decrease in the market, when you only invest this much everyday it won't really matter that much to you. Therefor, this is one of the good investing method you can do with bitcoin. you won't really care if how this investment end because the amount of money you are putting to your BTC wallet is not that much and who really cares about a dollar in our every day life?

I'm currently thinking if this idea will work after 5 years form now? I wonder what would be the price of bitcoin after those years. will it continue to increase, or it will not budge in the $10,000 mark like what we have seen today in the market.

Celtics vs Heat game 4. Choose your pick,,.. .

can the Celtics even the series here? What do you think about Butler, can he lead his team for a win and make the series 3-1 in favor of them?
It's gonna be a great game to watch again, the last 3 games was all an exciting game to watch, I have put my bet on the Celtics -3 to win in game 4, what's yours? and why?

We can't be sire about that tomorrow since we have seen how the Boston Celtics handled game 3 and out score Miami throughout the end of the game. Now we have seen some star players choked at the playoff games and those players are not new and inexperience. they've just lose their way to win the crucial games they need to advance. Let's just hope that Butler won't be that way and he can still comeback to win game 4 tomorrow.

5449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin transaction fees be too high in the future? on: September 23, 2020, 01:52:30 PM
This is the chart of Bitcoin's Avg. Transaction fee: https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-transactionfees.html

Right now the median fee is about $2. After lots of halvings the reward won't be enough to satisfy the miners. I guess that after a decade, bitcoin will be more widespread, as a result, more transactions will occur every second. Won't this increase the median fee? If it does, bitcoin will start being a not-so medium of exchange. Imagine paying $5 for a transaction. Even paypal doesn't charge that much.

You have it backward man, as I am typing this post, some developers are already giving us the best of lightning network to be launched. If the lightning network is fully developed, we will see some acceleration in the BTC transaction and the payment will be drastically decreased. it is not the way you think of it. after a few years from now, we will see a major difference both in transactions fees and the transaction speed if they fully initialized and successfully fixed all the current bugs of this technology.
5450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Charlo vs Derevyanchenko on Sept 26 on: September 23, 2020, 01:15:09 PM
I give Charlo the win in this coming fight if nothing goes wrong cause we have already seen how some clean record boxers got their first loss when they understimate their opponents in the ring. this is the most devastating loss for Charlo if he ever lose to Derevyanchenko in this upcoming fight.

I remember when Anthony Joshua lose to Ruiz on their first fight, he had the wrong impression to himself and devastated lose to the Mexican man.

But after their re-match, he regains the heavy weight title again.
5451  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Password Spray Attack vs Brute Force Attack on: September 23, 2020, 12:52:49 PM
I haven't heard about Password Spray Attack, maybe because they are not used often in this field. Can you please give us more enlightenment about this thing? for the brute force attack, I often heard it, and sometimes they are successful to hack some weak passwords accounts. As you can see, until now there still some users who don't use complex passwords for their accounts and used only single password for their multiple social medias accounts. In that case, they are often victim to brute force attacks especially when they used easy passwords to guess.
5452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Micah - Sept 26 on: September 22, 2020, 02:39:40 PM

I think the toughest opponent for him is Inoue, Guillermo Rigondeaux is good but he is not perfect anymore, Guillermo Rigondeaux is fast and good in terms of defense but Casimero is smarter now, he knows how to do the right timing to beat a faster and defensive fighter. Also, I don't like how Rigondeaux  fight as is not a fighter who likes to fight toe to toe, it ain't fun that way TBH.

Let's just hope we can see a fight between him and Inoue when they finish their fight with their current opponents. Now is the time to give our full support to our fellow countrymen Casimero. The only reason I can think why they've cancelled the fight between him and Inoue, is that they are looking to gather more popularity for this boxers so that they can gather more money in the future if he can be like the top popular boxers in the chart. Because if Casimero beat him, his popularity will decrease drastically and that will lose their chance to promote his next fight up to the maximum revenue.

Based on this article: https://www.badlefthook.com/2020/6/1/21276591/naoya-inoue-next-fight-vs-john-riel-casimero-rescheduled-new-date-september-2020-boxing-news

Bob Arum really wants to make this fight happen but I am sure the case is not like that because they are afraid to lose his fighter's popularity just like that.
5453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dollar cost average on Altcoins on: September 22, 2020, 02:02:07 PM
With this average trading technique, everyone could learn trading in a simplest yet working way. by just simply waiting for the price to rise, you don't have any problem to earn some decent amount of income from trading this way. however, this is not always the case because we have known from the start that the price always has this trait called "Volatility" where most of the time happened in the crypto market. just like what we have seen today.

Some of the cryptocurrencies including bitcoin looked bloody today and this is the time when you gonna have some panic whether the price will gonna back to normal again or not. because if this gonna continue, you will have that bad thoughts that the price will not gonna back again to the top.
5454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of BTC (and any other crypto) always higher in Asian countries? on: September 22, 2020, 01:28:59 PM
In our country, if you want to buy BTC from some of our local exchanges, the rates depends on what local exchanges you choose. like for example you will use coins.ph:

The price varies whether you gonna buy BTC or Sell, when you buy from them. you gonna add +4% and when you sell it they deducted 4%.

In some other local exchanges, the price are not this high cause the competition is always the case here.
5455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright To Face Trial on: September 22, 2020, 12:37:37 PM
It took them too long to do it maybe now Craig has run out nonsense theory about him being Satoshi. He may be run out of money to pay them. Now he is facing the biggest challenge of his life where he maybe send to prison with his childish act. I mean, when the first time he claimed about being the real Satoshi didn't work, he didn't stopped with that. instead, he continue to spread that no matter what happened and look at him now he is going into something disatrious.
5456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: September 22, 2020, 12:02:41 PM
The split is already predetermined, Lopez is already guaranteed $ 1.x million, and there are no PPV here, that's why he was offered that big amount. Initially he has rejected it and Loma step up and agree to have his pay cut just to be able to salvage the fight. Of course, boxing now is business, trash talk and stuff, but most of the time, the fighters that is so loud mouth losses the fight, except perhaps for elite boxers such as Floyd Mayweather who can walk the walk and talk the talk.

Lomachenko is not fighting for money, he just want to kick Lopez's ass right away when they stepped in the ring. Now that Lomachenko has already sacrifice some grand just to make this fight happened, I'm pretty sure that we will gonna see some all out war from him. This is some serious match right here, I wonder if he can really make a red mark to Lopez's record.
5457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bloody market on: September 22, 2020, 11:34:20 AM
This is one of the sceneries on the crypto market that you can see every year it is not because of a certain airdrop. You will not miss to see something like this every time the ETH or Bitcoin price has dropped. maybe one of the reasons is there are lots of people who wanted to convert their altcoins to a certain coins or they just wanted to sold it. Unless we will see some news about this sudden bloody market in a few days from now.
5458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP FIVE SECRETS OF MAKING IT BIG IN BETTING WORLD on: September 21, 2020, 01:28:54 PM
I think all the gambling sites should list these rules on their site so that gamblers keep on viewing them and should be careful while gambling. On some gambling site i do see a link of Responsible gambling but it should be more prominent in the form of a popup message.

Just like what we see in the cigarette case, where it says "government warning etc." Yes! it could work for some people who will totally forgot their reasoning after losing straight from a bad bet. But those signs are useless when they are already became addicted on gambling. because we have seen how people act when they already drowned to some kind of bad habit which make them lose their interest to some advise from other people. such as this one:

5459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create a own coin? on: September 21, 2020, 12:48:33 PM
Do you want to know an honest opinion? If you have to ask this question, then please DO NOT CREATE a coin. It's just going to be another one of the thousands of other shitcoins that are just copycats and have no new features. The crypto world does not need such coins. And if you need a coin for a certain use case, then create a colored coin / token on ecosystems like Ethereum, Waves, Neo or others. That makes much more sense.

Most likely this will gonna happen if he planned to sell his coins without some plans and road maps to consider how he can do something with his created coins. But if he just wants to make a coin for some personal studies, he can always do what he wants. To the OP, even if you have some people with you who help you to create this coin, if you don't have a back up from some big companies or some famous people in this industry, your coins will also added to those shit coins like this man said. so you better create a token instead because that will give you less expense even if your project fails, the damage is not that much.
5460  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Evasive URLs in Spam on: September 21, 2020, 12:26:34 PM
This is another way of Phishing, right? in that case we need some more information on how this fraud works. You're right, time passed, we will see such tricks by the scammers are evolving every year and to follow on how to avoid their past tricks, we can easily distinguish those spams from real one. Because we already know how the fraud works base on what they've done in the past. Thankfully we have some people like the OP who always keen and fast to tell people about this kinds of frauds. That's why, people who always read are the ones who lessly falls to this trick.
