5441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Potential Lawsuit to Bitcoin on: February 17, 2020, 12:02:31 PM
Wright is worse than a bad joke, he is nothing but an embarrassment to the human race and should be treated as such.

his claim has not merit.

I am glad that there are at least a few issues out there of which we are all in agreement upon.

One thing that we also have to admit is Craig is a masterful liar for being able to keep the ruse going this long. Of course, for many of us, the ruse was over by 2016, yet the fact that it remains an economically viable one is a testament to Craig's ability to tell a compelling tall tale.

I just got done reading his entire blog post and it seems like he wants to redefine Bitcoin to give him complete control over its every aspect, which is of course, the antithesis of what Bitcoin was originally about. For example, from Craig's blog:

Quote
People need to move away from the concept of “Bitcoin is decentralised” as a political goal. The registry is distributed, but the property rights remain mine (through trusts and companies I created and the structure I set up to enforce such rules).

From Satoshi's introductory post on the P2P Foundation forum:

Quote
It's completely decentralized, with no central server or trusted parties, because everything is based on crypto proof instead of trust.

In addition to the stupid database ownership claims, he also attempts to:

- redefine the definition of nodes as meaning only miners
- claim that all 21 million bitcoin had been minted they were mined
- redefine the role of a miner as being a contractor under his employment (more or less)
- claim that all forks need his permission in order to operate

Of course this is all bullshit. Not only that, but it rests on the idea that he is Satoshi. Since he's clearly not Satoshi, his entire blog post is a moot point.
5442  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: COINSBIT.IO SCAM EXCHANGE + PONZI SCHEME !!! on: February 17, 2020, 07:53:02 AM
If you will make research on the Internet, you can find positive reviews about profits. But reviews with some proofs of poor and deceived users cannot be found, probably because there are none.

You sure didn't look very hard:

From https://www.cointelligence.com/exchanges_list/coinsbit/:

Quote
Coinsbit’s website supports 13 different languages, and claims to offer 24/7 support in 7 of these languages. Despite this, however, questions can be made regarding the quality of the support given. A quick look at Coinsbit’s website displays poor use of English throughout the majority of the website.

Coinsbit also seems to struggle with public opinion - especially on popular social media websites like Twitter and Reddit. There are a lot of users talking about their dislike of the delay in withdrawals, while many other users are talking about the quality of support they receive on the website. This negative public opinion is never addressed by Coinsbit themselves, despite having their own semi-active social media pages, which leads to a question regarding their transparency. As an example, hardly any information can be found about the founders, employees of the company, or about the company itself. As a platform wishing to distinguish itself from others, something should be done to address this lack of transparency.

Further, I recommend you to familiarize yourself with the concept of Scam itself https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/scream_(disambiguation)
I hope the question is settled.

LOL wut? This is what appears when you click on the link you provided:

Scream (disambiguation

Did you mean: Scream (disambiguation)?

Wikipedia does not have an article with this exact name. Please search for Scream (disambiguation in Wikipedia to check for alternative titles or spellings.

Hope you don't mind if I think that not much is "settled" here.

No need to bring Jollygood threads. Firstly, no one takes this boy seriously, and secondly, he has some kind of unhealthy attitude to these projects.
As far as I know, he worked earlier in one of them and he did poorly his job for which he was fired (and insulted in his heart)

As far as you know, huh. Please cite your sources and/or references because this claim sounds like a steeming pile of dogshit to me.
5443  Economy / Reputation / Re: PrimeNumber7 is an alt of Quickseller, Take 2 on: February 17, 2020, 06:57:38 AM
So much for giving Quickseller a break. This is why you never bend the knee to tyrants. They never stop until you destroy them.
So you are saying that primenumber7 and quickseller are alt accounts?

If you read my post again, you will see that my question is directed to PM7, not quickseller, but thanks for your criticism anyway  Smiley

HAHAHA... That is effin' hilarious. What's even funnier is that TS is so indignant and afraid of appearing wrong that he will now never remove PrimeNumber7 from his trust inclusions, even though he still has Quickseller distrusted.

5444  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust System Abuse By TMAN on: February 17, 2020, 05:25:51 AM
You could stop making excuses for him, and join me in advocating for his removal from the default trust.

It is easy to tell everyone else not to rock the boat while you sit on shore sipping on a piña colada. None of this has any effect on your ability to use the forum. This does have an effect on my ability to use the forum.

To extend the metaphor, I think you quite enjoy rocking the boat for no reason other than the thrill of sitting in a wobbly boat. But then when the boat tips over and you get drenched, you open a thread about how it wasn't your fault, and everybody needs to change except you.

You will never get Vod, TMAN or Lauda removed from DT because everyone can see your own behavior isn't conducive to your end goals -- so why should others pitch in and lend a hand? I have a feeling pretty soon this section will be nothing other than your threads complaining about how everything is unfair.
5445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig W. only claims to be Satoshi, because he knows the real Satoshi is dead? on: February 17, 2020, 05:12:46 AM
And yet, as we are today Gavin has still never fully retracted his endorsement. He left it at an 'I'm not sure what happened, maybe I was fooled. It doesn't matter anyways'-- something which wright's promoters continues to use to promote wright's legitimacy.

As far as I know, this blog entry of his from 2016 was his last formal comment on the issue:

Quote
Now that six months have gone past, I’m being asked if I still think Craig Wright was Satoshi.

I think there are two possibilities.

Either he was Satoshi, but really wants the world to think he isn’t, so he created an impossible-to-untangle web of truths, half-truths and lies. And ruined his reputation in the process.

If he was Satoshi, we should respect his wish to remain anonymous, and ignore him.

The other possibility is he is a master scammer/fraudster who managed to trick some pretty smart people over a period of several years.

In which case everybody except the victims of his fraud and law enforcement working on behalf of those victims should ignore him.

So, either he was or he wasn’t. In either case, we should ignore him. I regret ever getting involved in the “who was Satoshi” game, and am going to spend my time on more fun and productive pursuits.

So Gavin believes there's an equal chance that Craig is a "master scammer." The narrative that he completely believes Wright is Satoshi has been bogus since before BSV was even an idea. Either way, he clearly says Wright should be ignored. You never see BSVers talk about this blog entry when they talk about Gavin, its always a YouTube clip of an interview he gave _before_ he wrote this post.

I sent some coins to the exchange’s wallet. And after many days i still don’t have this coins on my wallet. I wrote to support but they just talked to wait and we are start looking for errors. Don’t use this exchange.

I think they re-hired this idiotic thread bumping service to cover up comments like yours. Obviously this exchange is highly fraudulent. Everybody is warned to steer clear of it.
5447  Economy / Reputation / Re: Please make your vote for the flag created against game-protect on: February 16, 2020, 05:15:12 PM
109 bitcointalk accounts support that h4ns withdrew his false red flag towards game-protect!

Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=874254

Why is the red flag still shown above my threads and why is the "Warning: Trade with extreme caution!" still shown at my public profile?

Because you're still a scammer.

Whatever EarnShit did or does, when the BET fantasy token (you can not use to bet Cheesy) was purchasable September 2019, investors lost 80%!

https://cryptorank.io/currencies/earnbet/price-chart

In the source you provided, it says its down 75% from its all-time high. The all-time high is not the price paid by 99.9% of all "investors."
Correct.

Thanks for admitting you're just here to deceive people. For what reason exactly, I have no idea. You're literally the only one here complaining about the token price. I suggest you try to drum up business elsewhere. Preferably on another forum, or planet, even.

It seems like EarnBet as a whole has been an immensely successful operation:

Obviously you're not drumming up business by writing such stupid and unprofessional messages, so what are you really doing here? Just trolling?

Why should anyone spend more time to explain what Bitcoin really is if you dont see the sense

The guy who thinks BSV is Bitcoin is going to explain what Bitcoin "really is"? LOL.

What I see is that you think nonsense is sense. The only thing you've ever managed to demonstrate is that you are capable of regurgitating Craig and Calvin's bullshit talking points into low IQ, underdeveloped bird feed responses.

I give up

That's a real shame. Probably best to head on over to MetaNet with all the like-minded people who "get it."

Be very careful when visiting this website and remember that your IP information will be given to them, which can potentially be used to tie your account name to your location.

I have doubts about the intentions of its creator, but admittedly I may be worrying about nothing.
5452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BSV] [Bitcoin SV] Satoshi Vision - Unmoderated Thread on: February 16, 2020, 12:19:22 PM
You ve no clue about incentives and game theory, right

Bitcoin is saved and secure by economics. The tech layer is just a poor instance of it. Don't get blinded by little techy things you might be able to grasp

The bigger picture is embedded economics (where store of value is a result, and does not come by funny definition in a book) and international law

What? That made no sense at all. I didn't mean to trigger you into having a stroke, I just wanted to know why anybody would use BSV when its obviously run by a scam artist and databases are much more efficient at storing data.
5453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 16, 2020, 12:08:54 PM
BSV only goes Satoshi's BitCoin and locks down protocol and dev fights.

Industry choses stable protocols

"Locks down protocol" after massive hardfork that left 75 nodes (23% of all nodes) permanently stranded, LOL. I bet BSV hard forks again within a year, but you'll be making excuses for it then, too.

Imagine 250 nodes (what remains) being responsible for keeping a $5 billion market cap afloat. Dogecoin (460 nodes) is laughing at you.

Industry choses stable protocols

"Industry" has completely bypassed Bitcoin Craig. Not a single use case outside of storing weather and preev data. I'm certain you don't use it. Frankly I don't understand what you're doing here except for trolling.

BitCoiners build, sustainable

LOL. Having your network dependent on the health of 250 nodes doesn't sound very sustainable to me.

What's the deal with the 75 nodes that still refuse to upgrade? That's a large chunk of your overall node count:

https://blockchair.com/bitcoin-sv/nodes

Furthermore, why would people use a centralized blockchain when there are already databases that do the same thing that SV does better, faster and cheaper?

Seems not miners.

Why do you still care about relay nodes? They don't help. No need to count those clients.

Miners are honestly running the blockchain and network.

Not pees or raspis

It would appear that your dream of cutting out validating nodes has become a reality. Now everyone on SV will be 100% reliant on 3rd party wallet providers to store their funds. No need for privacy or security with Bitcoin SV, right?

You didn't answer my other question: why would people use a centralized blockchain when there are already databases that do the same thing that SV does better, faster and cheaper?
5455  Other / Off-topic / Re: You may win 1 (one!!!!) whole merit if you guess cryptohunter's new username on: February 16, 2020, 04:14:48 AM
I'm not so sure.  His language, vocabulary, and ability to adhere to a specific topic without going hyperbolic seem to indict a different pompous, wall-posting windbag.  The attempts to point the bloodhounds into CH's direction (and away form the one whom I suspect) seem quite calculated, in fact.

I'm sure. The sheer involvement of time they have already put into the account means its them. I feel the chance is greater its CH trying hard not to be CH but still failing, as opposed to someone is carefully emulating their comeback attempt. Don't understand why someone would try to be them: dramatically spraying diarrhea everywhere. I put them on ignore already.

He was temp banned for what was likely trust system abuse but is now unfortunately unbanned.

He has about 40 active accounts, a decent list of which can be found here. Some of the accounts are already banned, so he should be banned for ban evasion, but I suppose he hasn't because there is no direct evidence linking him to the banned accounts (even though its obviously him). Regardless, he should be banned for trolling.

He's left me a total of 10 flags so far, so don't feel too bad about your 3.

We did tried to reach the guys that have put negative trust explaining that the case is very old and has been resolved with a refund and there were never any accusation for DD since then, but no one seems to be bothered even answering us.

Can anyone suggest or know if there is any formal procedure for appeal?
Negative trust can't just remain forever there should be some way to clear your name, or?

Sure, you can open a thread in the Reputation section of the forum and state your case. Unfortunately I'm certain that you won't be able to remove _all_ of the red trust, but if you can provide compelling evidence that the previous situation(s) have been resolved, then you may convince some of the users to remove their tags.

You haven't accrued any more negative trust in over 2 years, so that's a good start.

I would put @ + the name of the user who left the red trust, they may be pinged by a notification of the thread. Not everyone reads the Reputation section regularly.

In the last 24 hours:

BTC down 3%
BSV down 14.5%

I am sorry to say it Theymos, but you are a rube. I share a lot of the same ideological goals as you, but you are far too naive an idealistic to acheive any of them. It cost Lauda nothing to do this. There was no compromise, no sacrifice. If anything this act did nothing but serve Lauda by giving them cover for their other abusive behavior. Your little social experiment failed Theymos, and your willingness to be manipulated by people like this is responsible.

Too bad you're not a senator, theymos isn't an emperor, and this isn't actually Ancient Rome, because that would have been a great speech.

In reality its a forum about Bitcoin, a subject which I've never seen you write one post about. However, in the spirit of Ancient Rome, what has been democratically decided is that your opinion on these matters is, well, less than valuable.
