I occasionally hear that marginal trading and leveraged is bad for Bitcoin, can someone explain ? I don't know about trading stuff, just a hodler.
not sure why it is bad in general, but its probaly one of the reasons for great votality. leverage + weak liquidity = high votality It works both ways as we will discover this year. What has gone down will come back up again! Uh why exactly? Because all those shorts will have to close at some point. We will see, if you look at the volume of people getting the hell out of Bitcoin it sort of looks like they will have plenty of opportunity to close shorts without a significant rise in price. |

Most religious people don't have the courage that there are things they can't not yet or never understand (lack of knowledge and intelligence). It is easier to rely on an almighty entity. That's some shallow stuff. I guess atheists can be dogmatic and judgemental as well. |

but sooner or later difficult will adjust and things will go back to normal again Or not? Yes, of course. People will jump off the network at different price points. But we are moving thru a lot of those price points nowadays. So we might have to wait up to 20-30 days for next diff change. That means that blocks will on average take twice as long to solve. Not exactly the best PR for Bitcoin. |

i say 150... dont worry ill just mine with my computer i got this Nope. I've been saying since a few months ago, I'll buy Bitcoin under 100 and I'll get them for under 100. What if it drops below $10? Massive suicides... A lot of companies inverted MILLONS in hardware for mining bitcoin or providing services with it. This could really be true. I could see hanging myself if the btc went under forever :/ Keep your head cool and decide if you want to ride it out or if you want to bail out and buy in again later. It has gone past $1000 before. There is still money to be made. Bitcoin won't die. |

Manipulation, to fool bidders and then dump hard, this shouldn't be allowed.  (BTW, I'm still short) LOL!!! What phase are we in when even bears are offended by the dumps? I'm not complaining about dumps, but about order book manipulation (with a bot?), although it has served me well, I closed my short at 229$. Still... |
