5441  Other / Meta / Re: Session timed out while posting? on: December 28, 2019, 12:13:17 AM
I faced this thing many times. Usually I get it when I leave my post open without publishing it for few hours. But it also happened several times when I was making few long post. Probably it took around 30 minutes to make post and when I clicked "post" button, I got this error.
I'm not sure what can be done to avoid it. It's just one of forum security features and only theymos can adjust these settings.
I'm guessing when you log in you don't change the "time to stay logged in" it's defualt is 60 minutes. So if you plan to sit down for longer than you should change it, for example I generally set it for 720, as I can come and go as I please during that 12 hour period.
I think it has nothing with logged in time. I have "always stay logged in" and I'm still getting it.

http://www.bitcoins4free.ml
Completely new faucet list is available now. It's not as big as it was back in Faucethub days, but there is quite many faucets already.
Now you can claim from Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Dash, Zcash, Monero, TRON, Digibyte, Potcoin faucets with payments to Expresscrypto, Faucetpay, Microwallet and CedsonHub. I'm going to add few more coins and also Kswallet faucets.

Can Wolves tommorow make surprise and grab some points from City? I think it's really possible.
What did I said yesterday? Smiley Though I didn't had balls to predict it on Superbru ;/
When City was leading 2:0, I didn't believed that Wolves can make such comeback, no matter that they had one player more on the pitch.
Liverpool +14 and one game in advance. Now I really can't imagine Liverpool not winning EPL trophy.
5444  Other / Meta / Re: Two questions related to Forum's history on: December 27, 2019, 03:07:41 PM

Nice answer, buddy. It seems my first question got the answer clearly enough.
By the way, how do you know those profiles are the first one to the 10th one? Check each profile manually?
Yes, I checked each profile manually. I used https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u= link and just added number, for example 1 in the end.
And I see that @tranthidung already have answer about first merit sender and it was theymos. He had to check it to be sure that it works Cheesy. He was first merit source, but also most of us had some sMerit back then from airdrop.

5445  Other / Meta / Re: Two questions related to Forum's history on: December 27, 2019, 02:44:33 PM
You can check it by user id profile;u=
1. First Bitcointalk profile is admin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1
2nd user doesn't exist anymore,
3rd is satoshi https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3
4th sirius https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=4
5th doesn't exist anymore
6th nandnor https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=6
7th, 8th and 9th doesn't exist anymore.
10th Xunie  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=10
As you can see, none of earliest Bitcointalk users isn't anymore, some of them accounts were deleted. Only Xunie had signed in in 2019.
2. I'm lazy to check merit ttranactions on mobile, but I'm almost sure that this theymos post got merit first:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0. But I don't know who is first merit sender.
5446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 26, 2019, 11:56:29 PM
Yeah, Deal almost done for Ibra to Milan.
I don't know how much he can do with them in their situation...

The rumors, for now, are for a 6months deal.

It will be interesting what Ibra can do at top level being 38 years old. Especially in a team which play so shitty. I'mafraid it will be big disappointment.
5447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 26, 2019, 09:43:43 PM
So, Liverpool is leading 4:0 and there is 10 minutes left. These recent Leicester matches proves that their level is very far from LFC and City. Now their goal should be to stay in top 4. While Liverpool another important step towards long awaited EPL title
Leicester in 2nd half tried to play more attacking and open football, but it was suicide and Liverpool solved all questions. I was certain about LFC win tonight, but didn't expected such big score.
Can Wolves tommorow make surprise and grab some points from City? I think it's really possible.
5448  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most people Enjoy Spamming on BitcoinTalk on: December 26, 2019, 04:26:21 PM
Motherf*ker, thats not spam, I have no signature, Do you understand what spam is even?
you are one of the spammer who post shit.
LOL, so, you want to say that people without paid signature can't be spammers? Interesting logic, but unfortunately you're wrong. In reality, big part of spam comes from Newbies who can't even wear signature. And do you want to say that question like ''How Do You Make Money With Bitcoin?'' isn't spammy? I don't think so.
And before complaining, what you have done to eliminate spam? Have you ever clicked ''Report to moderator button? Because mods aren't robots who work here 24/7 and they can't check every single post made by forum users.
P.S. Watch your language.
5449  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freebitco.in scam site on: December 25, 2019, 01:00:04 AM
This story was already used by some people before and it's difficult to in your storie. Be honest, you gambled and lost this money. But it's not an excuse and nobody will return money to you.
Only thing which may make your story real - somebody signed up to your account and gambled these money from your ballance. But still, it would be your fault because you didn't set 2FA on your account.
5450  Other / Off-topic / Re: who knows a language school to learn Ukrainian fast and effective? on: December 25, 2019, 12:05:50 AM
I'm not sure why some of you suggesting OP to learn Russian when he need Ukrainian language.
OP, you have too look for some online courses to learn languages. There is some apps like Duolingo which may help.
Russian language is for use in Russian federation. Ukrainian language is for use in Ukraine. Speaking Russian in Ukraine is like speaking Spanish in USA.
It's not very accurate comparison because in Ukraine most people understand Russian, but Ukrainian is only official language there. And after 2014 Russian language is becoming less popular.
5451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game on: December 24, 2019, 11:53:22 PM
What makes me sad is not that I dont have time to watch, but the fact, that when I open any news webpage, listen to the radio while driving to work or simply standing in the queue, I will accidentally hear/notice the results...

I'm a hockey fan. I remember previous winter games - I've set home tv set to download the nationals team game. Guess what I heard when I turned on TV in the morning and there was news - "our team lost"... (there was even running subtitles claiming that we lost...). What is the reason to watch the game when you know the score... And that happened almost with every game (except final, I've set an alarm Smiley )

Yeah, I know that feeling. Nowadays it's very difficult not to know result if you want to watch game later. You have to turn off TV, computer, ignore all social media. And in the end, your friends will spoil final result Cheesy
5452  Other / Meta / Re: Decreasing number of forum users on: December 24, 2019, 07:24:19 PM
I agree with users above that decreasing number of users is related with current situation in crypto and bear market. But I think there is one more reason related with merit system. Before merit system huge number of people were signing up here just to rank up quickly and earn good money here. There was huge farms of accounts, people had 10, 20 or 30 accounts each. Now when we have merit system it become almost impossible for them to rank up and most of them just gave up.
And @Welsh have good point. Now many people prefer social networks, chatting platforms like Telegram, Discord over forums. Forums becomes into a bit outdated things. But these new platforms don't have historic value. It's good to discuss cureent things. but just after few weeks or months nobody will not remember what your wrote. While on Bitcointalk forum we are still discussing what satoshi, Hal or other historical Bitcoin personality wrote 10 or 8 years ago.
5453  Economy / Reputation / Re: Have you seen Yobit's new signature design? on: December 24, 2019, 12:11:06 PM
Since when Yobit is operating leagally? They don't things like license which would make them fully leagally operating exchange and nobody knows who owns Yobit and etc. And IIRC, Yobit was previously even banned in Russia

About your post:
Russia is the country where president shows cartoons with russian rockets nuke Florida. I don't think this is good example.

and of course it's strange:
> people butthurting about KYC and AML and when Binance blocking their "shady" funds

>the same people butthurting that Yoibt "is not legal"

-__________________-

Maybe Russia isn't best example, but my post was response to post above, that if legally operating exchange would do such things like Yobit do, their owners would be imprisoned. But in reality, in Russia nobody knows who is owners of Yobit.
And I don't see people butthurting about legal status of Yobit. It's all about shady things they are doing.
5454  Economy / Services / Re: [SOLVED] Need some help with Wordpress on: December 23, 2019, 10:51:01 PM
No worries. Whenever you're in doubt just make a backup, and alter to your hearts content. If you mess up, and you will eventually completely mess up your site restore from the back up. If there's a problem ever with you importing your backup you can always give me a message, and I'll see if I can come up with a solution.

Yeah, I know that backup is must have thing in such cases. Thank for help and Meryy Christmas to you!
I'm locking topic now.
5455  Economy / Services / Re: Need some help with Wordpress on: December 23, 2019, 10:40:15 PM
I'm guessing you're using a caching plugin such as WP Super Cache?

Do you use cpanel to host your site? You should be able to go into your files, and then navigate to the path that it indicates, and delete that file. Then you can import your existing site. Sometimes this can occur when you've used too different caching plugins, and they've both generated the advanced-cache.php file. Simply, duplicating  copying it from the main plugin you intend to use to the other location should do the trick.
Yes, I have this plugin and and cPanel. I already previously moved my website from old host to current one. I was a bit afraid t go into files myself to screw something because my knowledge is minimal. But I tried to find this file. Now I deted this file and error had disappeared. Thank you so much for your help!
5456  Economy / Services / [SOLVED] Need some help with Wordpress on: December 23, 2019, 10:06:04 PM
I need some little help with Wordpress. After moving to new host and uploading website backup, I get this error:
Quote
Warning!

The file /home/bitceyyy/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php already exists. Please manually delete it before using this plugin. If you continue to see this message after deleting it please contact your hosting support.
I'm noob in these things, so I'm looking for someone to solve this thing. Looking for high ranked and trusted members only because they will have to access my website. PM me and tell how much you charge for it.
5457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game on: December 23, 2019, 07:37:56 PM
It will be hard to watch Olympics for europeans due to time difference.
I remember winter 2018 Olympics in South Korea... Almost missed all the major event and faced a lot of spoilers in news and radio (before I even watched downloaded game or it was shown on tv).
Yeah, it will be difficult to watch Olympics due to time zone difference. Rio 2016 also was similar, because most of events happened during night time. But there will never be time which would be good to watch in all continents.

Russia is still in the list. Are they still allowed to compete? Or the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) sanction will only take effect after this Tokyo Olympics? I am saddened to hear because Russians are one of the toughest competitors but it seems evidences are pretty solid leading into the decision to ban them in years.
If you're talking about list in OP, it wasn't updated in recent months. Russia is banned and clean athletes from this country will be allowed to participate under neutral flag only.
5458  Economy / Reputation / Re: Have you seen Yobit's new signature design? on: December 23, 2019, 04:59:14 PM
The interest rate is indeed very suspicious. But would a legally operating exchange do such a thing ?! If that's true, then these people would go 100% to prison in Russia.
I will wait for yahoo's decision just because it is unbelievable to me that they could do something so insolent.
Since when Yobit is operating leagally? They don't things like license which would make them fully leagally operating exchange and nobody knows who owns Yobit and etc. And IIRC, Yobit was previously even banned in Russia
5459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 23, 2019, 04:20:54 PM
So, my 7.5 points this weekend is not bad result Cheesy. But I'm disappointed that I got 0 points from Sunday games. Can't wait for Boxing Day matches, it should be fun!
Just wondering...  Who's fam_lfc again at Superbru?
the 'lfc' probably refers to Liverpool Football Club, so I think fam_lfc is either @Pamoldar or @buwaytress.

famLFC is Pamoldar and buwaytress is Sojourner, I remember I asked this question myself some time ago.
5460  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: December 23, 2019, 04:13:48 PM
Amazing moral flexibility exhibited by campaign participants here. Are you sure you want to risk red trust for promoting a ponzi/pyramid scheme?

Why you think it is ponzi/pyramid scheme?
Why do you think it's not? Explain how legit investment program can offer 10% daily returns? It's impossible
@suchmoon, I think that some of these people aren't even avare about what they're advertising now.
