5441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Problem about Blockchain.com - Stellar airdrop on: May 28, 2019, 05:40:58 AM
I think blockchain.com mark you creating a lot account with the same IP/device that's why you got this problem, try to use a mobile device blockchain.com if you still got this problem went using a browser Laptop/PC.

Yes, I make block chain for my grandfather Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
If that's true and in this case you have created multiple accounts on the same IP and those accounts used to claim the stellar airdrop? *lol another joke this day. that guy above you said was true go to another PC with different IP and then try it again. When it's still getting the same problem and try it on your phone remember to use the different IP.
Roll Eyes How much account that you have created on your IP?  Roll Eyes
5442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can I start mining on my old PCs? on: May 28, 2019, 05:33:47 AM
Ya,according from my research an old model of pc has more need power supply than new model and it cost too much so for overall even you can get profit from your old pc it will still small profit at all coz you are using a highly cost power of a computer.
It cost more electricity to mine crypto and that's being so far from the efficient in the electricity. Not only less efficient and consumes a lot of electricity but that will waste our money by buy a new model of VGA but we can't make it too go all of its performances. small profit and long ROI and it's not worth to try.

If you want to mine, why don't you choose POS?

People who use 6 video cards minyut $ 50-100 Your computers look like a parity. Perhaps something can be minted on them. But I'm sure the electricity bill will be much more than a profit.
POS needs a lot of money to get decent amount and only a big players will become a winner. I prefer MN rather than POS but when it comes to the medium POS coin and it's still worth to try.
5443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why The Excitement for IEOs? on: May 27, 2019, 02:30:45 PM
The IEO will not kill the ICO's, they will be a new magnet for those individuals who are going to burn their money to make a fast x10 profit... cause is safe to invest through exchanges...
cause exchanges are the safest gateway to hodl and invest your crypto

excuse my sarcasm, but this is what is going to happen, nothing much safer than the standard ICOs, a new bull run is coming, noobs getting scammed in this or in the other way
I like the IEO, which in my opinion is more convenient because of the IEO for me to avoid fake projects, and of course crime. Even if I invest, I believe because I have listened to the market. And I can invest long or short term investments.

Bittrex together with Ocean deceived 5000 traders on 1000 BTC

this is only one example how investors can be manipulated

still think that IEOs are safe?
It looks like the main problem was on the ocean team, that looks so weird because they have agreed with another exchange site to add it before bittrex was adding it. Bittrex is very well known as a garbage exchange site right now and bill share and his team just like a scammer.

The started price of trade was around 1k satoshi and it's already below more than 50%.

Even some IEO coins on binance are getting lost too.

Thanks for that link and that's I what looking for right now to prevent my friend invest in shitty bittrex IEO.
5444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Crypto ranking from Chinese Government on: May 27, 2019, 01:56:34 PM

China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology realeased a new ranking of cryptocurrency on basic technology, applicability, and creativity.
This is the 12th list published by the CCID. Of the listed currencies, EOS still leads every of them to be no. 1.
Honestly, we don't know about how accurate this content and I will never try to believe this chart. EOS placed on the number one of platform but there was no a lot of demands and especially for TRON. These platforms are leading the popularity in the china only but ethereum is still leading the world wide ranking as the popular smartcontract platform.
TRON placed on the number 2 caused by Justin was shilling it anytime and that's my guess.
5445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PDATA - REVOLUTIONIZING BROKERAGE OF PERSONAL DATA on: May 27, 2019, 05:43:50 AM
PDATA Initial Exchange Offering on 3 top exchanges!

A partnership agreement has been concluded with the three main cryptocurrency exchanges - Coineal, P2PB2B and ExMarkets - for the initial exchange offer, which will begin on May 11, 2019. https://medium.com/pdata-token/test-755126c06141
I have not had to work with these exchanges, but I hope that they will be good. Tell me, when is the listing expected on these exchanges?
That should be after IEO has already ended, I believe those exchange sites have already applied the same rules for any IEO that launch on their own launch pad. An instant listing after IEO becomes a standard from the first when IEO system already launched.
5446  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency companies still can’t open bank accounts on: May 27, 2019, 05:30:57 AM
Banks aren't willing to play ball unless they are getting a large cut of the action.  Money talks and they aren't going to risk dealing with small companies.  They will take the risk if they are pulling in big profits because then it is worth their time.
Not all of them but I can agree with you if some non-financial institution is doing it especially the authorities this can become the best example https://www.coindesk.com/sec-negotiations-have-cost-kik-5-million-says-ceo
But can you explain about those early exchange sites that could have opened an account in the bank when it was started? Most of those crypto exchange companies have started with low liquidity and they can't be considered as big companies.
5447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining ETH is now no profit on: May 26, 2019, 11:04:57 PM
I think most ETH miners are banking on the assumption that ETH price would replicate its previous ATH soon and that they still continue to mine it in the hope that its price will rise again even when it seems still like a losing operation.  I personally would like to call this mining-as-an-investment strategy.  Smiley

I saw this coming a while ago. Rewind 2 years and mining Ethereum was profitable. Then it got to a point when it gave you no profits. Now it will give most of the small time miners a loss, but they hope it will give them a profit later on if ETH skyrockets in value.
I'm not sure about that, remember the next halving has already planned and it will get another halving as soon as possible as per FFG whitepaper. For the last blockreward for the miner will be around 0.5 eth and there are some miners (BIG) only that will mine ethereum. OP may get a big cost on its electricity that makes it doesn't profitable anymore.
5448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can I start mining on my old PCs? on: May 26, 2019, 10:56:45 PM
Just wondering if I can utilize my old PCs to start mining cryptos. But not sure where to start for those old types of equipment. Need advice.
Here is some small information about the equipment I have in my storeroom:
What I'm looking for? Which GPU should I buy for each PC? I mean which one will support with them. Also, you can suggest any CPU mining coin.

1. Quad-core 2.9, Intel G41 mainboard, 8 GB RAM, 1 GB internal graphics
Which GPU best suits this one for mining? (if any)

2. Core 2 Duo, Intel G31 mainboard, 4GB RAM, 1 shared graphics
Which GPU best suits this one for mining? (if any)

3. Core i5-650, H-55 mainboard, 4GB RAM, 1 GB onboard graphics
Which GPU best suits this one for mining? (if any)

Thanks in advance for your valuable time.
Here's my answer for you

you have a lot of choices but remember you will feel there was a lot of decrease in its performance caused by you are using the old motherboard. When you are using GTX1070 but the performance of that GPU will be the same as the performance of the lower series of  GPU just like 1050 when you are using it on the latest MOBO.

Choose it wisely and here's the list.
GT 1030, GTX 1050 Ti, GTX 750 Ti, Rx 460, Rx 550, GTX 1060, 1070 , RX 470, RX 480
5449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Need help - Trusted wallet for Stellar blockchain tokens. on: May 24, 2019, 09:25:25 AM
Hello,
If you want create stellar wallet you can visit this site
https://www.stellar.org/lumens/wallets/
You can choose a simple method to create wallet, I recomendation stellarport. for activate your wallet, dont forget to send minimum 3 XLM to your create wallet address.
After activated your wallet, you can send and receive XLM or token based XLM technology. For add token, you must create trustline according token name that you will added in the balance menu. if you want using mobile wallet App, download LOBSTR and login with your wallet secret key.

Vote for this one because stellar port has already supported almost the whole of stellar asset. But most of wallets that listed on that sites are related to store our stellar coin.
Only a few of them are supporting the steallar token. smartland is a good choice too because I'm using it right now and it's very stable.
5450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HELP with mining Monero [XMR] on Azure on: May 24, 2019, 09:13:19 AM
I am not doubting your claims but it seems azure have long time disallow crypto mining, I also tried to check the date that your mining guide was published but found nothing on their website.
Azure was able to detecting the mining activity automatically
OP must see this link https://medium.com/@isunnyoswal/azure-detected-crypto-coin-mining-activity-on-my-subscription-b98b320ef30a

Just give you an alternative that takes only 1% as donations https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2980323.0
Maybe that will not a bad thing to try
5451  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Intraday vs HODL on: May 23, 2019, 08:05:52 AM
Intraday vs HODL

In the current market situation which one best and what do u guys prefer
HODL is always a best suggestion given by most of the professional traders considering the previous history. The peoples who HODL their coins from the late 2010-2013 made immense profits as the price for bitcoins was pumped a lot and in some minimum investment, peoples made higher profits so HODLING is always a better thought if you do not have any financial needs which can be fulfilled by selling your coins. You can HODL maximum amount if you really are excited to make yourself rich and wealthy ahead. Intraday(Day-trading) can be riskier for a lot of peoples including new peoples as risk is higher in there compared to profits.
Are you sure about this, because if you said Holding is the best option for most PROFESSIONAL TRADERS, let us look at the word trader here, most crypto trader will not hold their coin, most crypto trader will take advantage of the volatile market to always take profit within the shortest possible time and that is how they make their money and do turnover too.

The people you referred to are simply long term investors and they don’t really trade crypto that much, which I am not disputing the fact that it is the easiest way of operating in this market, but you can’t say it is the most profitable; it depends on the coin that is being traded.
HODL is not always the best strategy. It could be best strategy in one scenario when your cost of investment is more than the current market scenario. You should not sell low for that would incur you loss. In addition, if you are gaining profits due to low initial cost of investment and the market is rising, you should HODL. However it is never advisable to hodl when you have achieved big and the market looks in bearish mood.

Generally, HODL is much better than any other choices. As can be seen, the reason why hodl is more dominant choice than others is that this seems to be much more secured; especially when you are confused to make a decision in the market movement, still we completely in safety zone if we choose hodl. It depends largely on each person skill, technique as well as knowledege that can help us to exploit profit from each way of earning, because we have different strong point. Personally, i just know that i am compatible  with Hodl, so i tend to prefer hodl to intra-trading.
Any strategy will be a good thing depend on what the situation is, HODL will be a good strategy when it comes to the bullish trend and have you seen what will be the worst thing from HODL when it was getting only bearish trend? a lot of people being depressed to see their amount got decreased anytime. And on that time try to be intraday trader is much better rather than not doing anything and we lost our value.
5452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone uses wireless HDMI on: May 23, 2019, 07:34:26 AM
I have a monitor and a keyboard.

The keyboard (with touchpad) is wireless already.

The monitor is not wireless yet. I need a 5m cable to connect the rig with the monitor.

I wonder if anyone uses wireless HDMI instead? Does that really work? I want the computer and the monitor to be able to behave as if it's using the 5 m cable?
I'm not sure about that but I was following someone from youtube that uses wifi smart plug that makes me able to control my mining rig through my phone and it's working very well.
But I'm sure if that will work consider what you need to sync it.
I just agree with someone above to use RDP but it's not wrong to try too.
5453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] COBINHOOD - ZERO Trading Fee Cryptocurrency Exchange on: May 22, 2019, 08:30:12 AM
How long will cobinhood still work? There are many concerning gossips about the coming end of this company and cob price plummeted...
So what's up with this ? Should we sell ?
I think there is no problem with Cobinhood, I see many projects that have IEOs in Cobinhood and that is great for the future of this platform
Please you can now start to surf to the internet through use your browser and then search the latest news about that, it looks like something fishy has already discovered. Zero fees trading is a non sense thing. Exchange needs to keep its operation and basically this is how a bad project running away with a lot of money. I can even build a simple site like cobin in short time. lol 16 millions are too much
5454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta vs ForkDelta on: May 22, 2019, 08:23:33 AM
I don’t see much difference between the two stock exchanges. In essence, these are two identical platform conditions are also equal. There are a lot of different coins that have not yet been exchanged. Here you can buy different coins at a good price. I think that both exchanges are useful.
To clarify about both have built by the same person and look at the how wallet that used by FORK and DELTA. Both of platforms are using the same hot wallet and that can be confirmed of both are the same.
But this is not going right because that platforms look so terrible for me consider about how complicated even when you wanna do a single transaction.
IDEX looks a better platform than it.
5455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Proof-of-StakeWork for miners! on: May 22, 2019, 08:19:59 AM
High electrical energy consumption is one of the challenges for miners. It makes miningless profitable in areas where electricity is very expensive. If this innovation is going to cut down electricity cost for miners, then this is a good news.
Have you understood what has already written by OP? the new concept is not removing the POW but it was adding POS that can be used only by the miners. there must not be a lot of differences with a platform that used POW only. but that new concept was bring more profit to the miners and the stake holders get nothing from their own pocket. That's a useless concept.

Why do not get nothing. After all, they can continue to mine on their investments with the help of POS. In general, I am now interested in projects that allow you to earn on investments with the help of PoS. Right now, one of the top Harmony projects will be built POS on mining.
POS only applied for miners only and I meant about that. Basically that POS is not allowed to be used by a common holders. As far as I know there are some hybrid platforms that used POW combined with POS and you can do both at the same time. But the fact that this system looks similar with it.
5456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin, ETH, and XRP To Become Mainstream By 2024? on: May 21, 2019, 07:13:22 AM
How plausible do you think this is? https://tipestry.com/topics/5cdf21bef8abf15fcdee649a/sneak-peek-2024-is-absolutely-the-year-bitcoin-becomes-mainstream
I would think we would become mainstream by 2021 or 2022. By mainstream, I don't mean 100% adoption or the extinction of the dollar. What I mean is, Bitcoin being used more and known by consumers.
That article makes sense and have you seen the latest news about some companies are opening the possibility for bitcoin to be adopted by more people in the future? maybe this will require the help from the 3rd parties but that's even better than nothing. This time I know a lot of sites and services that accept bitcoin and another major coins too especially dash.
More publication for crypto created everyday and that's possible.
5457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: May 21, 2019, 05:38:46 AM
Dogecoin is currently facing a major correction. Probably the $0.0025 support level will be tested, read more:

https://coincodex.com/article/3630/dogecoin-price-analysis-bears-eye-00025-doge-correction-is-not-over/

Correction is always healthy process especially before bull run get started Doge is very popular and it have very big community I don't think there is any kind of sign of worry soon it will explode to the moon.

If you guys look at the dogecoin history chart, we can see that dogecoin makes this corrections moves to it's low support level in the bitcoin pair so I am expecting to enter doge again at around 20 sats and with luck at 16 sats  Wink
I don't want to be a greedy but correction to the 20-30 satoshi levels will be my entry ticket for stacking the Dogecoins. Support and resistance levels are useless things in the crypto trading and I don't care about the technical analysis.
have you guys seen the real problem of doge? technical analysis will not suitable for a coin without hardcap supply. Look at the whole chart of DOGE and there was a pump that has already repeated so many times.
I just wait a little bit longer than you to create my entry point for doge.  Cheesy
5458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO or STO or SAFT? What's the safest bet? on: May 21, 2019, 05:30:26 AM
OP, would you like to add another choice like IEO? if you can and i will choose it as my safest bet on the speculating a new platform.
The ERA for SAFT and STO have already ended and both were getting only short hype but ICO and IEO still become the main bet right now.
Visit icodrop and you will know about the average return that has already generated by IEO.
5459  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price - Is $11,000 Next? on: May 20, 2019, 08:50:10 AM
The bitcoin looks stabilize its position and when it was a bearish trend and the price of bitcoin goes down a lot but this time there was no a lot of movement from the price of bitcoin to go down even lower. It's easy to go back again after a short dump to the 7k rate. Bitcoin seems get another bullish trend again in the future. I agree with that article.
