5441  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: BEST BITCOIN WALLET FOR ANDROID on: July 21, 2017, 09:38:17 AM
Mycelium Win!!!! for android what about for laptop?
Tho your question is seems like off topic here but for me and base on my experience, I prefer to use Electrum desktop wallet, much easier to use since it's too light that never requires downloading the blockchain.
5442  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Please help. I lost my Cryptocopia Slack email! on: July 21, 2017, 06:05:15 AM
Thanks to google chrome I have no idea what email I used. I was really enjoying the community, is there anyway I can get added back in?
A small tip on offer for anyone that can help, it was a good chat Sad
Thank-you sooo much!  Smiley
Is there any guess or any idea on what's your email used on that slack channel? Its really little bit impossible that you forget those used email, except if you're using a disposable email, a new email, or an email thats not totally yours which is not really going to happen. If you cant remember at all, maybe making a new one is not that bad idea here's the link to there slack https://cryptocopia.herokuapp.com, just introduce yourself ad explain what happen.
5443  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: which is the best? Blockchain or Coinbase. on: July 21, 2017, 05:10:29 AM
I dont know why some people do choose coinbase rather on blockchain? They are just seeing on the feature that you can able to buy and sell bitcoin on coinbase and yes its possible since its an exchange which  blockchain is just really a pure web wallet but in terms of security i will really go for blockchain.info (hands down) incase they stop operate you can still have access on your bitcoin since you do have the private key.
Just a correction you can't get your private key directly from blockchain.info, only the recovery phrase, but there's a way to get those private keys using the seed.
And I bet they only choose coinbase for buy and sell, not for storing funds in a long run but if they do then they completely don't know how to secure their coins.
5444  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: is bitcoin wallet based company is going to close or it will safe.. on: July 21, 2017, 04:53:25 AM
Since you are talking with an exchange then that suggestion from them is better. But if this exchange/wrb wallet are operating from your country, that it was registered from your country as a business then its safe, because if they want to stop without prior notice of transferring your coins to any client hen jail is waiting on them. But for this coming august then its recommended that you store your coins to a safe wallet that you can access your private keys Wink

5446  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Alternative Bitcoin transaction accelerator? on: July 21, 2017, 02:47:38 AM
It seems that they made a new interface for the viabtc's website, and they transfer the acceleraor to a new subdomain of viabtc thats why get error 404 for that page. And oh, the network starting to blow up ahead and getting huge backlogs thats why people should use this accelerator again. And to OP there are several members here offering for free accelerating of tx, just search it on service section since I dunno there thread. And you can still refer from the people posts above of some accelerator but you have to pay atleast.
5447  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Lost bitcoins Phrase Recovered Blockchain Wallet on: July 21, 2017, 02:29:51 AM
What could be the reason that my funds are not transferring to my new wallet that I have recovered via the pass phrase?
Are you so sure that you paste and typed the phrase carefully base on its order from first to the twelfth one because if you type it inorder then probably the address will change definitely and your address will not reflect to you newly recovered wallet.
5448  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Bitmain Antminer S9 for 1000 Euro! (with Power Supply) on: July 20, 2017, 04:37:43 PM
I guess computer hardware section belongs this thread link here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0
You can move this to the mentioned section by clicking the lower left "move topic" clickable link
5449  Economy / Exchanges / Re: had withdrawal from POLONIEX (scumbags) to timed account, pending 1 month on: July 20, 2017, 04:23:32 PM
Sorry to hear that from you, polo got to many complaints this days but 1 month is too long enough to solve that issue, and there's too many thread about poloniex also but dunno if one of them got resolved already.
5450  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Making a living from signature campaigns, is it possible? on: July 20, 2017, 07:19:05 AM
No, people should know that joining signature campaigns are incentives only on this forum you can't make a living from them, it's not enough to provide your daily needs, and  once people depend on this, probably they are the ones who got banned from campaigns to campaigns and from this forum because of spamming and copy pasting sometimes. If you have different sources of income besides signature campaigns, like bloggging that can earn monthly, trading, and some passive income then I guess it will do.
5451  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trade bitcoin for Paypal dollars on: July 20, 2017, 02:33:18 AM
if you want launch exchanger site is good youre post in exchange section or service announcement section
if you want direct transaction in bitcointalk member you can promotion in curency exchange section
I'm recommending this reply, since there are bitcointalk members offers also on BTC to paypal exchange and vice versa, just make sure that you use an escrow and don't ever trade with newbie accounts, only to trusted members here only to Sr. member and above to make sure that you will not be scam, you can view it on their trust page, like this

and just click that clickable link "Trust" to view his trust feedback if he/she's don't have a negative feedback or some positive feedback that he made a transaction with paypal exchange or just click his username and you can see the clickable link "Trust:".
5452  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help with wallet on: July 19, 2017, 01:07:30 PM
Is Jaxx safe for BTC Split?
I must say yes? But probably not safe to store your coins.

Other question.
In Electrum wallet, I saved a key which is a sentence with words.
Is that the private key ? Is it specific to Electrum ?
I thought the private key was some kind of random string  Huh
They are the recovery phrase of your wallet which is 12-words, its not the private key rather but the two of them have the same purpose to secure your coins and in case of lost of your device or if it broke then you can recover back your coins using them.
5453  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Newbie here What is blockchain.info wallet ? on: July 19, 2017, 06:06:40 AM
Blockchain.info is secure, maybe too secure. I've been recommending this wallet to use, after a little survey you can easily find out Blockchain.info such a secure online wallet that have better security elements rest of the others online wallet.
I'm opposite with this idea, blockchain.info wallet can be trusted for small amounts only, I dunno if you not wondering that blockchain.info is not on the list of bitcoin.org wallets. Because they are not totally safe. And what's this "better security elements" they have you are saying here? Wondering if whats that  Roll Eyes
5454  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Livecoin.net reviews on: July 19, 2017, 05:46:42 AM
So far I don't have any bad experience from this exchange as I don't use them always, I'm on Bittrex and cryptopia depends if the coins are available on them and price also matters, and regarding for the speed of the transaction, it always base on the network if there are no huge backlogs and on the transaction fees, the exchange has the minimum withdrawal fee of 0.001 BTC.
5455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Warning to everyone regarding polinex on: July 19, 2017, 03:12:37 AM
Could you post the TXID of the transaction you made?
I'm seeing and reading also some complaints about polo these days on this forum and I don't know if they are solved already but its 10 eth and that's not just 5 USD. And this thread is not in its proper section, you can move this to services discussions section.
EDIT: Even on their twitter account doesn't have any updates regarding this issues encountered by their users, it seems suspicious now.
5456  Other / Meta / Re: 2 Copy/Pasters on: July 19, 2017, 01:44:41 AM
Seems they are out of words to post on that board since TrueFlip signature campaign requires a lot of posts from gambling section that makes them do this kind of thing and some mods have to ban them.
5457  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Question About Exodus on: July 19, 2017, 12:13:53 AM
Thanks very much for the clear answer . So 12 word phrase is not exodus' feature but it can be used with any wallet that support it. Got it.

Regards,
Duffann
No problem dude, and yeah that's right as long as the client supports for this kind of wallet, just make sure that your device e.g. Personal computer is completely safe and secured to store some important files like Bitcoin I mean installing strong anti-virus will help you.
5458  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: how can i get my pin to send my funds if ive forgot it Help!! on: July 18, 2017, 11:54:28 PM
I have my wallet on my phone. i have funds and want to send them, i have forgotten my pin anddo not know what i must do,
can anybody help please!!!!
What wallet are you using?
If you forgot the pin on it, I must say that if you have the recovery phrase/seed of the wallet since most wallets have this feature instead of exporting private keys then you can recover it using the same wallet or other wallet that support the length of the seed I mean the the numbers since there are 12, 15 or 17 words and also if you have the private keys of this wallet. But if you don't have this recovery phrase or private keys then there's no way to recover it except if they have some support that will help you to solve your problem or some email function that has the same feature of forgetting password to recover your pin as the password.
5459  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Since Blockchain.info disabled multi send feature, which should i use now? on: July 18, 2017, 11:30:30 PM
Yes, the post above was right and you can use them since it's the most recommended wallet IMO and actually I'm using this wallet also.
There's also one wallet that can do like this as they have the send to many features with the Bitcoin core tho you have to download
the blockchain first before you can use them at fully sync.
5460  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nagadota is a scammer, running ponzi faucet on: July 18, 2017, 04:05:51 PM
This are the most common disease of people nowadays IMO. First and foremost the user was tagged already by running some Ponzi sites by some DT Vod and whywefight then you still have the courage to "invest/deposit" there knowing the consequences already.
