5441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Monday Is the Best Day to Buy Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2020, 09:38:05 PM
I don't fully believe that Monday is a good day to buy bitcoin because I don't think that weekly analysis will always be right. there is no right day or even the right month to be sure to buy at a low price at a certain time because basically the price movement of the bitcoin market cannot be controlled even it is certain when it will go up or down
I don't believe with Monday is the best time to buy bitcoin because almost one week become good moment and day for investing with bitcoin, just I think at the early morning is the most wonderful time for buying bitcoin, when I wake up always bitcoin have been raise to higher price and many time I got bitcoin back to higher price at the early morning time.
yes bitcoin movement is not based on a particular day, it moves in terms of market factors that are happening. but it might be a coincidence on Monday the price declined. but the traders usually have a certain day, when the market moves quite crowded on Saturdays and Sundays because most people off work and try to trade.
Forex traders believe that Monday is the best day to buy but i don't think it would be applied in crypto specially in bitcoin because traders would just buy or sell depending on the current price of the market. There's no specific date on when to buy or the best day to buy or sell.
With Forex the reason is obvious - the market is closed during weekend and it opens Monday morning. With bitcoin it's different because market is open to trade 24/7. Although there is one explanation why Mondays are the most positive statistically. Because during the weekend you cannot top up your exchange account with fresh fiat so people are mostly selling bitcoin. If they sent deposit of fiat on Thursdays, Friday or they decided to buy more bitcoin during the weekend, the money will most likely arrive on Monday. That is why there is more demand on Monday compared to other days.

I might incorporate this information into my trading strategy so that I will try not to sell during weekend, but I will wait till Monday afternoon when price will be a bit higher most of the weeks.
Valid points but doesnt mean that this would precise yet come to think that it isnt always to be on this kind of situation where prices
do shoots up on a particular day of the week.I agree on what hamphser said that its applicable on Forex but not to this crypto market
which this place is always been unpredictable. When we do talk buying or best day to get in then it will be a matter of choice on your side.

5444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Awards 2020 betting on: January 23, 2020, 10:42:04 PM
I have a family tradition of watching Oscars live (in my country it's at 3 am) every year, and prior to that watching as many movies as we can and predict the winners in each category. I've been placing predictions before, but never with putting my money on Oscars. Perhaps, it's about time I start, but so far I have not been good at predictions, to be honest Grin
Nitrogensports has quite a shady reputation, though, so I don't know whether it's the best website for this... I would use Sportsbet.io, but I don't see Oscars predictions there (I guess it's fair since it's not really a sport). Anyone here who can name a reputable website that accepts bets on Oscars in BTC?
P.S. Pretty sure Joker's getting the Best Movie award.

Weird tradition to have to watch oscars with family but I actually also remember the same when I was very young! Back then of course we did not have computers and phones and devices,,, no internet just radio and television so I guess most families gathered around to watch something. When it was live it was even better but we actually watched the delayed telecast, but it was still a surprise (no internet?).

No bets for me. I have not even watched a single of those movies, how will I know who wins:)
Its not actually weird yet there were people who do really love to watch these awards together with their families (not common somehow).
Even now we do have internet but family bonding times like this do exist.  Cheesy

Some do like to bet on Oscars but majority wont and i dont know what makes them not to be interested about but honestly speaking
winning a bet in oscars is hard basing on experience.

I already gave my choices on previous page.No need to repeat it.
5445  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase Vault query! on: January 23, 2020, 09:58:05 PM
Have you tried on reaching them thru other mediums?

https://www.facebook.com/Coinbase
https://twitter.com/coinbase

Back in the past where i do have problems or issues with Coinbase but their support response only took for few hours.
Just have patience and wait for their reply.Im not really that familiar with their vault.

^ Surprisingly this is true, they are more responsive in their social media pages especially in their subreddit page compared to their actual customer support. Every time a Redditor will be complaining in their subreddit you will always see customer support commenting in their threads with their dedicated emails. It might be because they are trying to protect their image to the general public and they are trying to prevent any further damage on their reputation. Mersal you can try this as well,  and I think they'll be more responsive as each customer support in Reddit has their own email addy.
Yeah i agree to this one and speaking of Reddit support then reaching out to this dude will be helpful. https://www.reddit.com/user/justin_coinbase

Majority of old or veteran member here knows about Coinbase reputation, there might be delay on support responsiveness but in the end of the day

they would able to resolve it out.
5446  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-01-23] Exchange hacks on the rise on: January 23, 2020, 09:40:17 PM
~snip~
They do trying to emphasis the numbers of exchanges rather than on the total amount was hacked and yes most of them are the small guys
but you can actually tell the difference.

Hacks happen because of hackers period and no matter how strict the government is enforcing their laws or how secure their exchanges are if there are still hackers trying to steal our money you know our crypto aren't safe.
+1 to this and the cycle would continue. As long theres money to this market, these hacks would exist no matter what and inevitable.

24 hours still no response, hooe I will get response fron support team sooner. Smiley

As oer the suggestion topic has moved to exchanges section.

You might not be getting the same treatment as goinmerry had as either it might be a case to case basis or goinmerry just got lucky during his experience with Coinbase's support . Maybe you can still wait for another 24 hours before following them up with another email or if you really are desperate you can try calling their customer support hotline just make sure you give them your ticket number to help you right away. @goinmerry what exactly was your issue about? Is it similar to mersal's concern?
I will wait three to four days even to get their response,if I didn't then I will send an email again.Contacting them via won't make anything quicker based on other users experience you may have to wait for 30 to 40 minutes which will cost a lot for international call.

5450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaigns now trial and error method on: January 21, 2020, 08:06:20 PM
It’s good to look for a project with the right team or partnerships, though sometimes these are hard to come by and some of them can still do a good job but just needs the opportunity to prove themselves, but the right team and partnership is a good start.

I have seen various projects that kicked off really good but coming to end they turned to something else and disappointed their investors. Even scam projects there are lots of these days that pretends to be legit and very good, everything about them will look so good and will deceive the investors and as time goes on they show their true selves.
There are actually some good projects with good and legit team or devs but they do still destined to end up on failure. Why? They havent able to get sufficient support or funding

and instead those scammy ones had been funded for millions of dollars instead on the legit one.Finding a good project wont really be that easy and as of todays situation in regards of bounty
hunting where people do already lost up too much trust and we have seen that IEO is the new trend.Even how hard you do make that trial and error method, i would say it wont
really be that worth for your time.
5451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 21, 2020, 06:35:22 PM
This will create a huge hype, I am sure many people wants to see McGregor and Manny fight in the ring. Manny has an advantage since boxing is his forte and he is well known for his powerful left hand and speed. It will be interesting how McGregor will prepare and adjust on this fight if this happens.

Why would he even bother trying to prepare? Surely he can't be so overconfident that he thinks he has any chance of doing anything other than getting knocked out?

Pacquiao isn't like Mayweather, he's obviously going to put the pressure on McGregor and will probably try and finish the fight early. After all, his gas tank probably isn't what it used to be, so I doubt he wants it to go into the later rounds and give McGregor a tiny chance of catching him while he's tired.

I hope the fight doesn't go ahead, and if it does, I hope it flops at the box office. These BS crossovers should not be encouraged.
If it would last for how many rounds then i would say that Pacquiao will make it on purpose. For what? As a complimentary for Conor and for some entertainment and hype for fans.

It would be no fun if the fight would only last 1 or 2 rounds and as this fight would be hyped up then the more money would be generated. As usual where Boxing do becomes a business
for its promoters and the true essence of Boxing is already gone and making it already as an entertainment.  Grin

5453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: To be a successful trader need help of a successful trader! on: January 21, 2020, 04:22:26 PM

Learning from our own experiences is a very personal guide to us in trading. Gaining ideas from other traders is another way as well. They are also experienced traders and learning from their experience enlightens us and encourages us to do better and decide properly. Two heads are better than one as they say. And no man is an island. We need others for us to be more encourage and pushing our best to the limits.

You are right. We can learn a lot from the experience of other people. There are specially designed forums that are focused upon mere purpose of enabling the newbies to communicate with others so that they can get an idea of anything new to them in the world of trading.

there will always be places where people who are more knowledgeable provide information to people who are still beginners, plus now internet access has made it easier for people to communicate with each other. in this forum or in the crypto community out there we will always get information, so we must be able to put ourselves in order to get even more knowledge.

yes you are right that now a days the internet has access to each and everyone and we can get knowledge from anybody we want, there are a lot of websites on which trading has been discussed but i think you should keep one thing in your mind that the information you are getting must be genuine and the person must be trustworthy. As in my case i always get my trading opinion from a trust worthy person who is very sincere.
You wouldnt able to know if its legit or not if you arent that experienced.Reading up some analysis from other people isnt a bad case
but you know on how to verify and if you do tend to apply it on your own analysis then its good but if youve been fully relying on it then its bad.
Market is unpredictable and no matter how good the analysis is, it would really have either a success or fail one.So its up to you if you follow or
would just make your own.

5456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Free coins from yobit. on: January 18, 2020, 02:44:41 PM
Guys, what do you think of the free coins from yobit? Is it worth our time and effort? Does it have value? Or can it have value for the future?
They are all shit coins but you do able to receive some coins which do have good value in the market but of course you will get some peanuts and it isnt really worth to waste your time on claiming.

But somehow there were free coins that do actually being pumped where you can make out some money out of those free claims. So far back in my yobit experience i havent able to be on that situation.
So final answer is definite 'NO, it wont be worth of your time'  and better find another alternative ways for you to earn instead.
5457  Economy / Speculation / Re: Craig Wright's Court Battle - Bitcoin on: January 18, 2020, 01:28:45 PM
The coincidence here that Bitcoin went up on the same day, although a lot of other coins skyrocketed too, so it's more of a large crypto pump across the board.
That tells me that a lot of money was pouring into the crypto market as a whole, and I'm wondering where it all came from.  Maybe institutional investors?  Who knows.

I haven't been keeping up with this Craig Wright drama, but it's certainly interesting.  Seems like the general consensus around here is that he's not Satoshi, but I'm damn curious to see whether he produces the private keys to all that bitcoin that hasn't moved since the beginning.  That is what he's being asked to do, right?

Anyway, I keep forgetting that BSV is actually a coin.  Never had any interest in it, nor do I know why it exists.  Same for BCH.
Neither do I, doesnt have any interest with BCH and BSV yet these coins doesnt really give out relevance on why they do exist but instead the people behind these projects are making out some dramas where
the entire community do already got bored into.

One thing on what community do ask for him to do is to move out a satoshi into a certain wallet to prove out all the things hed been fighting for years now and about BSV price then its just a typical market movement where
everything is rising and as said no one actually knows on where these funds do came from.
5458  Economy / Gambling / Re: Binary Options (Financial Betting) Crypto Trading & No Deposit Bonuses in 2020 on: January 18, 2020, 12:15:55 PM
Don't do binary options. Please don't!

They are a scam! I think that has been well documented on the web by now.

I guess some people just don't care. I don't understand how you don't care if your screwing someone over though.
Not generally but most of them are shady when we do talk about brokers but when it comes to BO i do only trust;

Binary.com
Tradersway.com
IQoptions

I have used this platforms and i dont have any problems with it.When it comes to BO talks then this is indeed somewhat like gambling
if you do just blindly presume on where price would go.

You seem to have a broader knowledge in this business. I personally do not trust the way they work.  Most of the time, trading synthetic indices seem to be too much manipulated. How sure are we that the whole thing isn't controlled by the devs of these projects? Is it a fair way?
As long as you play with a trusted broker like the one listed above I think it will be safe. So the way Binary Options work is that you only choose the price to go down or up during the allotted time. If your prediction is correct, the payment is according to the market presentation in the range of 80-90%.
This is the only thing i do complained about these brokers,if you do win a certain bet and they payout 80-85% of the amount had bet in which means brokers do really have that big deduction on each
prediction you would make.Brokers that had been mentioned above are heavily centralized where these are tied up with Forex and stock market tickers and just only add up bitcoin into their list.
When you are just really aiming to have options trading solely for Bitcoin then Betinance.com is a new one.

Dont know whats wrong with the site yet i cant open it even though i have strong and stable connection.Tried for several browsers but still have the same problem.

Okay setting it aside and basing up on topic title on getting improvement with your trading. It might sound easy but wont really be that simple to follow.
Experience would always be the key for you to learn everything. You would face up common mistakes and learn from it until you do learn it gradually
and making you as a better trader as soon you do realize on familiarizing anything on different market situations and corresponding decisions to be made.
