But consider there wasn't any huge expectations for Dele Alli (he played at League 1 before Spurs).  Dybala on the other hand was branded as the 'next Messi'.  Lololol.
I think media hype does more harm than good to this players in achieving their goals, if only the media can take it easy on them and allow them mature before putting huge titles and names on them, maybe this players would concentrate more and mature faster.

Dybala hasn't really done so much to earn all the praises he gets, he hasn't been at a consistent level, and doesn't score much goals, I think this players need to be told to take their eyes off the media and concentrate on their game, playing everyday like they have something to prove, not like they have achieved much.
5462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 27, 2019, 08:17:53 AM
Jose Mourinho is much expected in Tottenham now, will Mourinho be able to bring Tottenham back to the final like last season? I hope so I am glad Mourinho was there.
Jose Mourinho is very smart, I wouldn't be surprised if he puts all his attention on the UCL, there is no chance they can win the EPL, even a top four finish may be too difficult for them, but the UCL is open, no team is really spectacular this season, and they are last season finalists, he can build on that and see if the can make it to the final again, let's see how far they go.

Manchester City are also through, even though they made me lose my bet last night, they never really hit top gear, they seemed comfortable with a draw knowing it'll take them through, and with one eye on Newcastle this weekend, that's a must win game for city.
5463  Other / Meta / Re: Should we report questions that can be easily answered? on: November 27, 2019, 07:21:47 AM
Moreover I see some threads made with simple questions. Just answer them or ignore them.
And the problem with this threads with very simple questions is it gets so much replies, and in the end you take a look at it and almost everyone was saying the same thing(giving the same answer). All I think those threads with simple e.g "How to earn merits" questions is just very few replies to the op, maybe with links to read up with.

When the replies gets so much for those simple questions, it starts to look really spammy and worth reporting.
5464  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Password changed / Woke up recently. Good signals to know potential scammers on: November 27, 2019, 06:38:46 AM
Email change too could be added to the OP, I believe it could be a sign that the account has either been hacked, or sold(generally changed hands). Once you click on a users trust page, you can see if the user changed email recently.

All these does not make such users scammers, but it's an indicator, a sign, most especially when all three are present, password changed, woke up recently and email changed, you must be careful with that user, and report them to the admin if you receive a pm from them.
5465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: No matter how successful a bounty project is...... on: November 27, 2019, 06:08:31 AM
The miserable price of the tokens after the ICO is the real problem, not how many participants were in the bounty, if there is a good bounty and participants are much, don't you know those participants wouldn't bother holding those tokens, and see how fast they will grow, this is more income and profits.

But even the bounty hunters themselves know that the coin is a shitcoin, and may never sell for a higher price that they can get at that very time, that way everyone is scrambling to sell off. No mater the number of bounty participants or any other supposed problems, if a good ico is over, participants must really earn something good, but I can't remember the last time I saw a good ico though.
5466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 26, 2019, 01:59:27 PM
I don't know whether to classify this news as good or bad lol. but this seems to be good news for Manchester United fans and Ole career. Aguero will not play during the Manchester Derby derby on 7th December because he is injured. hmm Aguero missed this match, and it looks like manchester city won't make a goal party in this derby lol
With Aguero's impeccable scoring form againnst Manchester United at the Etihad, it's bad news for city, but it isn't much of a good news for united, going by their form, I don't think it'll be too difficult for city to beat them without Sergio up front, Gabriel Jesus is good and he'll do well to fill in for Kun.

It's ironic how the manchester derby looks like its going to be one sided(in the favor of city)yet again, it was just years back when city couldn't come close to compete with the red devils, now it's only a miracle that could save united from defeat on the 7th of December.
5467  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am self made Senior Member now on: November 26, 2019, 08:33:39 AM
Your threads in the last weeks have been great, not just because they earned you merits, but I read most of them and I was able to grab alot and educate myself more, most especially your thread on the LN and Bitcoin Android wallet, its good the way you make it all that simplistic, as I'm still trying to learn everyday, thank you.

Congratulations, you moved very fast from full to senior member, good improvement, we'll all take a lesson or two from this.
5468  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't run for merits! on: November 26, 2019, 07:37:34 AM
I’ve always said that the real challenge is not in obtaining the first few merits, but in moving along the middle to higher ranks. It’s doable of course, but it does require one to put in quite a fair share of time into it.
It's indeed a real challenge, and the time factor you mentioned plays a big role, for users who are really tied up with one thing or the other in real life, they could spend more time in a particular rank than another user(with almost the same knowledge)who is more often less busy and has more time to spend here.

But the best thing to do is to make the best of every time spent here, and that's exactly what I try to do, and if you keep believing the next rank will come and you're doing well to get it, it will take time, but you'll rank up.
5469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Streamlining Data Storage In The Healthcare Sector on: November 26, 2019, 06:34:06 AM
And why do you need to create a coin for this business?
Just to complete the IEO and give out their shitcoins, and we are sure nothing will be done concerning improving the healthcare system through the blockchain technology. If they are really concerned about the HS, then they will focus on use cases of the BT that will advance the HS, not creating a shitcoin for their own selfish reasons, why do these IEO and ICO's always come out with good ideas and plans, but they always don't want to work hard to make it a reality.
5470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 26, 2019, 06:03:52 AM
Barcelona vs Dortmund is a match that will be exciting Dortmund must win against Barcelona because if they lose then Inter Milan will have the chance to enter the next round,
This group is really tough, and every match is like a final, you cannot just predict who will win and who will qualify at the end, I think this particular game will end in a draw, Barcelona are still yet to convince me this season, and I think any team that really prepares well to face them, hoping Messi has an off day, can beat them. I think Barca and Inter will be the teams to make it to the next round.
This result is clear as day, Tottenham will win this match, I think 2-0 would be sufficient. Trivia: Mourinho never fails at the group stage, and he never will :p
Mourinho has been in charge for just one game, he is still trying to figure out his best team and players, I believe this is the time olympiakos can get a result for themselves, I will be predicting a 2.2 draw in this game.
5471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to bet in sports? on: November 25, 2019, 05:07:00 PM
The truth is that I do not believe there is a perfect or a right way to bet in sports, every betting strategy works and also fails, so doesn't that mean that they are all good and also all bad when things go the wrong way.

The thing is never try to make profit quickly, take your time with your bets, even if it's slow income, it's better than rushing into a fast and big loss, I know how difficult it is to make profits through betting, so any strategy that works for me, I stick to it, no matter how slow and low the income is, I take it that way.

5472  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Intro to Bitcoin Video, Explained Simply and Quickly! :D on: November 25, 2019, 03:49:02 PM
I like the effort you put into the video, but I think you need to do more studying about bitcoin yourself so you'll be able to do a simplistic and more informative video, your video is about seven minutes long, but you just seemed to spend about two minutes introducing yourself and the channel. Watching videos is not quite easy to do for many people, so it would be better short with the nail hit on the head quicker.

And also there are numerous high quality and also informative videos on Youtube explaining that same content, you need to do more work on yours if you want anyone recommending it to beginners.
5473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 25, 2019, 12:41:55 PM
It is possible to occupy 4th place because of the difference in points far next week Manchester will face Aston Villa and it must win because the next match will face Tottenham. I will be difficult for Manchester United to move up the table.

The top four have around 7 points difference with the #5. So, in order for United to get inside the top 4, then one of the teams must lose at least 3 times and at the same time, United keep winning their game.

That's a tough task, considering the current top 4 has consistent runs.
Do we even need to go through all the mathematics to see the impossibility of united making into into the top four, we just need to watch their games, and understand that with the level at which English football is at now, that team(united)can't be among the teams that'll be present to compete in the UCL next season, if they do not improve even, they may miss out totally on European football(even the Europa league)
Solksjaer = Norweigan PE teacher
Lol, the PE teacher would be sacked very soon, I think it's because he's a club legend, that's why he's still even in the job.
5474  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As new members, take it easy and go step by step on: November 24, 2019, 04:11:53 PM
Real Bitcoiner will HOLD and will never panic in such situations.
I do not believe the option to hodl or not to do so decides who a true bitcoiner is, we all have preferences and areas we're good in. If one knows he can afford to buy bitcoins and keep them for years without worrying about the bear period, then they are good hodlers, some others do better in daytrading and some people sell off to cut their losses.

I do hodl, and I advice people to do same, but rather than hodl and lose sleep whenever there's a bear market, it's better to sell off at intervals when you've made some profits at least, and buy again when it's convenient for you.
5475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Mobile Mining exists at all? on: November 24, 2019, 02:19:55 PM
For me any coin that can be mined with a mobile phone is a shitcoin, those mining this coin you mentioned probably have hopes that the price of the coin could go up in years to come, but if we are to be honest with ourselves, we know it would probably not happen.

Yes I know It was easier to mine bitcoins before, but that is the bitcoin, look at its use case, it was a super product from day one, it just needed time, but this altcoins today isn't any of that, and mining this coin or any of them is going to be a waste of time.
5476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of some Deflation tokens on: November 24, 2019, 01:23:33 PM
This strategy is similar to that of the deflation tokens but the deference is in the quality of the project and their contributions to the industry
You're correct, the idea of deflationary tokens is not a bad one, neither is it as scam as some people may think, but the projects are coming out with just that strategy alone and that's very foolish, you cannot just create a coin and burn a particular percent at a particular time and expect that to be the master plan that'll lead to the success of the product.

If the coin is good, has a good use case, real good product, then burning tokens may not be a bad idea as the supply would be reduced at intervals while since the product is good, it will attract more users and the demand would go up, which would increase the price of the coin too.
5477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet best for your currency store? on: November 23, 2019, 07:19:57 AM
Number one is a terrible advice, you can buy and sell cryptocurrencies on coinbase, but do not hold or store your coins on any exchange, not even coinbase. Didn't you hear of the Mt Gox hack, the Bitfinex hack etc, research properly so users aren't misled by your information.

Trezor wallet is the only advisable one on your list, it is a hardware wallet and can provide it's customers good security of their coins.
5478  Other / Meta / Re: The Bitcoin Forum is 10 years old! on: November 22, 2019, 09:28:49 PM
TBH cryptocurrency and bitcoin would not be fun for me without this forum, I'd just have my coins to myself, with nowhere to talk about them, no where to learn about how to secure them, nowhere to know what's trending and nowhere to learn from others.

Bitcointalk is just like attending school for me everyday, but I wouldn't want to graduate from this "school", I want to be here always, happy birthday to us.
5479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JuSt a wish on: November 22, 2019, 05:54:16 PM
It is not going to be possible to force those top exchanges to reduce their fees because the cryptocurrency market is not at its best time now, they have a reason why they charge high, and that is the same reason why it's only serious projects who are really ready to spend in order to promote their product that would get listed on those top exchanges.

And about the Binance IEO you talked about, do you think Binance would just allow any shitcoins to conduct IEO on their platform and ruin their reputation, no they wouldn't, all this measures are good to encourage this projects to work hard, they can't simply be having it so easy and scamming people in the process.
5480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 22, 2019, 12:43:13 PM
Mourinho mostly thrives of expensive transfers. It would be interesting to know how Tottenham's transfer activity changes now that he is their coach. If they get busy in the transfer market and buy players then i think Mour can turn them into a cup winning team.
Isn't that what every big coach in the game today does, pep had a horrible first season, he made the club buy exactly the players he needed, and he was able to win the EPL back to back. You cannot perform well as a coach if you do not have the players to play your style. Spurs hardly spend money during transfer windows, but the audacity alone to make mou the second highest earning coach in the world means they are ready to spend as much as city and other big teams in the next transfer window(not in January though)

Another thing is, it will be interesting to see the calibre of players Mourinho would be able to convince to come play for spurs, we all know Spurs are not so much among the elite. If Mou is in a team like Madrid/chelsea or United, he can attract for example a player like Pogba, but in spurs can be do the same?
