5461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever won a unexpected amount with a small amount ? on: November 03, 2016, 03:03:01 AM
I would hope on this but it never happened so that is a pity for sure but I also do not really mind because I gamble for the fun and not for the profit.
i gamble for fun too by the way and i have won 210 mbtc with 3 mbtc stake only.

i was predicting a correct score on arsenal vs chelsea few years ago , it is live betting while chelsea leading in the first half and arsenal get a legendary wrong red card lol plus chelsea have a penalty reward i bet on correct score 6-0 the odds exactly give me 70 , and i won it! i really bet for fun never expect to win a profit.
Wow thats huge mate me i got some lucky day yesterday winning from the dice inside yobit small start from .002 btc to .012 btc then i quit after that and enjoy my winnings i know if i continue it will burned out again.
5462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: November 03, 2016, 02:57:50 AM
No sports betting is not really gambling
what is it then, some kind of investment, come on be a matured level headed individual.it is gambling
Those who said that sports betting is not gambling have not experience the same, it is apparent that when we put money to make money it's called gamble even if it is a game or not. Simply sports betting is considered as gambling since we are betting on the team we root to win to give us money.
I cant find reason how they can say that its not gambling if we are using our money/btc and aim to win earnings coming from that bet.
5463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: November 03, 2016, 02:46:27 AM
We don't know what they think about it but they only said when they heard bitcoins it is nothing or just like a token in some fun games to buy some stuffs and if you are trying to explain onto them they won't even getting curious they will just ignore it so the thing is better to accepts what they knows about it ,Don't argue with them.
After they understand that big possibilities of earnings is waiting for them i guess they will change their minds the only thing we needed to do is just give them some sorts of idea and show some proofs of profits coming from our btc investment to attract them to look deeper about it.

5465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: November 03, 2016, 02:25:14 AM
For me it is not the same gambling is for fun and entertainment.. but trading is business for me and it is like on forex.. you can predict your own and set your own margin to make a profit you dont need to bet or something like in gambling because gambling you will lose there and you can not recover anything.. unlike in trading that you can recover some partial of loses.
But what are the similarities you are finding with gambling and trading and I believe you might got many situations in those you got feel of doing your trading in gambling way like throwing blind balls to book unexpected huge profits. But, both gambling and trading has mystery to unveil only we touch them. But, we should never go trading in gambling approach.

It's not possible to know with sure how much profit we will make with trading. Nobody can knows with 100% sure if that coin will increase its price in the future, maybe the prices can go down and you lose your investiment on this coin. I think that is a unpredictable job, it's not very dangerous like gambling, but it's not so safe like buy BTCs and hold it.

Trading is an investment so there is really no assurance on how much you can earn with it. And it depends on the fluctuation of the coin in the market and that is why trading is unpredictable job, I think it must not even considered as job because that is just a sideline, but well there are a lot of people depending on bitcoin trading and treat it as their job.
Because if you learn deeper from btc trading for sure you can earn a lot fluctuation really play the big roll with this investment knowing when to place your entry and exit point will be an edge.
5466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: November 03, 2016, 02:19:59 AM
No, and I have no plans to do so. It would be a very risky decision, even for a well-established technology, such as the bitcoin technology. But I think 25% sounds like a good number.
You need not invest all money into bitcoin ecosystem, but it is highly recommended to invest into bitcoins 90% of your investment networth into bitcoins. This is because of the possible huge returns we may get from bitcoin's future value appreciations. If you have any other options, then you can go less than 90% of total investments with bitcoins.
Well, that is acceptable if you do not have any other investment in the physical world. For me, if you think of online investment nothing can beat the profitability of investing in bitcoin. Here, you can see more opportunity to grow your money as there are even gambling sites that you can put your bitcoins and that would give you double benefits as you can grow your bitcoins as its value grow as well.

Hatuferu is right, it is very hard to find some legit investments online. Because there are a lot of offers you can see throughout the web but most of them are just a bunch of scams. So if you are going to invest with bitcoin , with some portion of money then you got the right decision. But investing all, I think that's a different thing. You need to still have some remains on your own.
If you can risk bigger for sure you can earn much mor btc is really rallying right now and if you got in the right timing placing your entry profits is for sure in the long run just needed to assess yourself if how much money you can afford to risk.

5468  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin may likely touch 728.68 before second week of November. on: November 03, 2016, 02:07:43 AM
I saw the price at my xapo wallet and it was $755! Better than i expected. I thinks its going to be $800 a piece at the end of the month. Yesterday the price was about $725 a piece. This is a great boost of price. Thousand a piece is what i expected before the year ends. For now, im keeping my btc.
Thats right the price will rises up even more expecting more and more is very possible keeping my btc while price is rallying up. We should continue supporting the chain if we want to keep the price up.
5469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: November 03, 2016, 02:02:19 AM
For me experience does really in gambling. Many will say that experience is a must because that involves strategy on how to win it. However, there are some people that rely on luck. I better believe on strategy from experience because it also makes you strong. It makes you more prepared and adjust yourself to all the frustrations and irritation while playing. Experience makes you understand yourself and managed your emotions. Experience counts more.

Without experience chances would be more little unlike when you have a lots of it the edge of winning would be much better its really needed when you are playing gamble.

5471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: November 02, 2016, 09:42:41 AM
Give me a good reason to buy at 8k when I could buy at 1k, 2k,3k, 4k, 5k,6k, or 7k.

 Grin

you could..but you didn't..that's the point of people buying at such low prices..like 7k.... Ask bitcoin buyers - why they are buying now at 700 USD per 1 bitcoin, when they were able to buy at 10 cents per 1000 bitcoins at 2010?

That and look at the demand vs supply (5M demand vs 1M+ for sale) Cheesy

I'd say it's a good reason to buy

I will think about buying when it get close to 30k sat then.  Wink

what's the point? some kind of a magic number?

30k comes after 29k which itself comes from 28k.

It's already magic tho, no need for any random number to be magic.

No point in arguing this numeric sarcasm. Stratis has values and let the market speaks for itself.
Let its usage dictate how much value this project will go as we all expecting much better price we just needed to trust the dev and watch out for its movement progress will make this happen for every investors.
5472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What would be your recommendations when trading crypto? on: November 02, 2016, 09:39:23 AM
the first thing you should do is to learn why price goes up and down and also learn how to find the best price to buy and then sell at.

this is the most important step and the most common step that most new traders skip and end up gambling with their money in an altcoin market while pumpers become richer and richer while taking their money.
Thats why we better to look for more details before we enter trade industry because the more educated we are the more possibility that we can gain profits knowing fundamentals and make good assessment is really needed to be a successful traders.
5473  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How much bitcoins can you collect from faucets per day? on: November 02, 2016, 09:35:52 AM
Realistically 30k per hour is decent so 30k x 24 =720k
720k x 7 = 0.0364 btc a week

If you want 1btc you need to make 0.142 or something btc per day
so over 0.005 an hour....
Also btc is $730 do you think it is going to be that easy to make that kind of money ?
"Realistically"? I'm not sure you're using that right. Have you seen somebody be awake for 24/7? I know there are drugs out there that are available to make you awake for 48 hours or even longer but I'm 100% sure that that drug is much expensive that what you'll get from non-stop doing faucets.

People go to school/work, go to sleep, eat, take a bath, etc. Most people only have 8 hours maximum to spend in front of the computer in a day. That would divide your calculations into three since 24/8 = 3. Thus, the maximum earning you can get from faucet sites is just around 0.01BTC. I don't think that's worth doing. There's a lot of better ways you could've spent all those time.
Unless you have a lots of referrals and all of them will work the same way you do you can collect decents earnings from faucets but you alone i guess you must value your time looking for more options.
5474  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Bitcoin designed to last forever? on: November 02, 2016, 09:30:12 AM
Yes nothing lasts forever, especially in the tech sector.

I agree with you , nothing  really last  forever and  shall passed away  its  either  been broken or  just  normally passed away  but   in the field  of  technology  , i could  say that  bitcoin is not designed  to last forever   but  im somehow assured  that  it would   took  up for  many years  before it would  gone because as  we all  witness now  that  bitcoin  is   already being  adopted  by people   and  increasing  as the days  goes  by and this  indicates  it would  last  up, bitcoin would end if  no people would  tend to use it anymore.
Time will tell and its the users will make it possible with so many adoption and so much earnings coming from this investment many interest has been gathered so we really cant say if btc can survive forever but hoping that it continue to works the way its working right now.
5475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: November 02, 2016, 07:08:06 AM
No, i do not. Trading is never the same as gambling although many people have said that it is. Trading requires a lot of experience and skill which can help you to earn the profit. And you also need a tutor to guide you, help you and explain how trading work.
Having a tutor is great but most people are not going to be able to find one, what are they supposed to do? Give up trading? No they will have to learn on their own that is a lot more difficult but it is possible to do it.

I can consider that trading is also gambling in the way that you are taking a risk and every type of investments are just like gambling and you must be able to accept that fact that you need to take it.

And if you don't want to take a risk in trading then you must stop gambling too, because if you are going to keep on gambling, you can just trade easily.

This is wrong perspektif. trading can be a gambling if you do it without any plan or analysist, just random buy/sell. but otherwise, it's a dignified profession.

if you think trading as gambling why people on wall streets risking their life with gamble.
If you will also take into consideration that there are two kinds of gamblers. There are gambler that uses his skills and the other one relies on his luck so basically we can say that if you are gambling you are just randomly picking your bets as that belongs to a gambler who relies on his luck.

A skilled and experience gambler has a chance to be successful because he studies gambling and improve his method although it's hard to win.
Even a pro sometimes lose just like in trading even we knew or expect certain movements its still sometimes go in other way but unlike gambling we can expect that it will make a bounce back just needed for some time.
5476  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump Vs Hilary Clinton on: November 02, 2016, 06:49:56 AM
I was convinced that Trump would lose against Hillary after the 3 debates, but right now im not sure anymore... the email leaks don't stop coming, and the polls are looking real tight, we'll see.

Trump is making noise,as always while Hillary is kind of a decent candidate. It is a tight race between them as there are more election issues that coming out, more disinformation also.An educated voter is a must,to discern those issues and unmask the incompetent one.
Lets wait and see the result i know both candidates have their own issue and its depend on the voters perception to choose who's going to support we are all praying for what is the best and who will be elected whoever wins hope america will still stay strong.

5478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRUMP] TrumpCoin SuperPAC on: November 02, 2016, 06:42:14 AM
I honestly thought this coin would be burning down along with Trump's campaign at this point. Yet its up a whopping 60%, and Trump is doing well. This coin just refuses to die.  Cheesy

If Trump wins....there is only one way this coin is going: up.
Glad to earn little coming from this project if i only knew that the price will pump that much i should rather wait for sometime before selling it. Let see what the election will bring for this project. Good luck
5479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do you prefer your money to be in cash or bitcoins? on: November 02, 2016, 06:39:32 AM
I like storing money to be stored in Bitcoins because it's all digital and the chance of someone hacking into my account is slim to none. I can also process transaction from my computer instantaneously and I don't have to leave the house as much (I'm lazy  Wink).
As of now i also considerig my money to be in btc because while its save the possibility to grow is going bigger and more and more uses can be find online so its really making it good option to get more involved with bitcoin investment.
5480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many Millions of People Use Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2016, 06:33:43 AM
I think at this point bitcoin users very much. I can not guess how many hundreds of millions or billions. but if we look at the site blockchain purses, wallets blockchain themselves have created 9 million wallet. I think because blockchain is the official website of bitcoin transactions.

That is not enough to determine how many users are really into bitcoin. Some dont use blockchain and others have many accounts in that site. In 10 users there might be 7 of them who have multiple accounts.
Thats right we really cant count it that way as many users make multiple account and most of us use either local wallet or exchange wallet just like the concept of anonymously maybe we ca leave it that way.
