No. But it can become the world's history. If something good will happen that every people will know about it and somehow use it then it can create a worldwide mark. But we dont know if that can happen.

I am not agree with you, just think by your logic, People interested with altcoin becouse they was know about bitcoin first. also they still thrust to altcoin becouse they know that there is the first of crypto currency is still life and usefull. just think if bitcoin is die, people who know this news will begin to not thrust with any cryptocurrency. just because bitcoin is a stunning new technology and some say even a miracle it does not mean it is indestructible. remember the titanic? i bet people where also talking about "is titanic designed to last forever?". we live in a world where a currency seldom lasted for more then 100 years. and technology nowadays is changing fast. it would be a folly to think bitcoin will be here forever.

That is certainly true. But if you look at the number of bitcoin that much less of the population of this world then I think that's something inappropriate things to think about. Because if everyone is already using bitcoin, then automatically price bitcoin will be higher because the overall number of bitcoin is much lower (Economic Law), so this would be a great advantage and not a problem

Bitcoin being a code that is open for improvement and upgrade simply means bitcoin is designed to last forever.  with the updates and development, bitcoin will have its usage and importance retains thru out the course of human history.  Unless the developers give up and no one to pick up the development then that will be the time bitcoin will become idle.

I think it will be all about after everything is mined. But I dont think we are still alive to see that. There is a lot to be mined and halving's will come creating less mined coins. So if the support will not end until that time and new generations will be enthusiastic just like people in this community then it wont be a problem to last for a long time.

Bitcoin already did proved that it last longer than other crypto currency. Yes it is still profitable for its miners because it is getting some fees to sustain its miners but in the question that  bitcoin was designed to last forever i think that it is not it simply wanted to have some medium of payment online and this is still experimental

Some day all bitcoins will be mined. That would mean no transactions will be confirmed anymore. I think that coins can still be sent, but without the confirmation, I don't think that people will still use it. So no, I don't think bitcoin will last forever. Besides, I think that the confirmation times will become so slow that long before the last coin will be mined nobody will use bitcoin anymore.

Bitcoin is deisnged to work for ever as long as the community keeps in supporting it.

But in 50-60 years,when we would not have any block reward,and the miners will earn their salary from fees only,we will need a large amount of transactions.

there are some practical problem with electronic format currencies compared to faits. Fiats are always ready to use whereas electronic currencies are basically requires internet connectivity.

Bitcoin as a form of currency and as an advancement in technology is developed with certain time limits as most users quoted. But things gets changed when people start accepting it. On account of this technology might be developed to last long than the previous limitations or the same gets into existence in some other form.

This is philosophical question, probably every creator or designer have a wish on beginning to his work live as longer as possible. But can something last forever? Nature around us says that everything has an end, bitcoin as technology will have and can have much longer life then things from nature.
As a man who have faith in bitcoin, I think bitcoin will last very long time. For now bitcoin have 7 years behind, and when we look period of 100 years bitcoin is still very young currency. We will see how old bitcoin can be, and will something younger and better will replace it one day.
