5461  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: nCOV(Corona Virus) at Cryptocurrency on: February 03, 2020, 09:22:22 AM
5462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: February 03, 2020, 07:02:02 AM
It taught me many things about real life. Because bitcoin is a form of currency, during my college days I learned that it is really not easy to earn money. I learned how to value it and spend it wisely.
It also helped me to earn some extra money during those days when I'm trading.
5463  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM (118 days left) on: February 03, 2020, 05:45:29 AM
I plan to sell before the halving happens. If you just hold then you won't have any profit. I've learned my lesson since 2017's ATH.
I've been holding since that time and regret I didn't sell. I will take my profit anytime soon and just wait again when I can buy at a cheap price.
If price soars too high I would sell only a portion of it then keep the remaining until the next halving.
5464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest winning so far on: January 31, 2020, 05:29:14 PM
Its only 1 month when 2020 came around the corner but I would like to know what your largest win is so far and if you have set yourself some targets for this year.

We are talking about gambling here so setting a target profit is not good. Gambling is all about luck, so if you're not lucky that time you play then you will end up chasing your loss.
If I gamble any profit is good to me, bigger would be better of course but I don't always expect to win.
I just gamble to entertain myself and to enjoy the thrill of relying on your luck to win.
5465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So a bitcoin scam has been getting a lot of publicity in the Philippines lately on: January 31, 2020, 04:02:04 AM
This is very dangerous, fraudsters involve the names of influential people and that includes defamation, right? luckily there was clarification soon. Lay people will definitely be easily influenced by the Ponzi scheme which is manipulated with language that seems beneficial, even though it leads to fraud and the benefits gained are not much. Especially the profit-oriented newbie will surely be easily affected by huge rewards without learning what is behind them, so let's be more concerned with educating ourselves and those around us to avoid being harmed.
Thank you OP for the information, hopefully, many members make reports so that the fraudster cannot act anymore.
right, this is especially for beginners who don't understand correctly and they think making money here is easy. so they became the target of scamer and finally the new investors regretted, because it was not in accordance with their expectations, and finally they spread negative news about crypto

It's also fault of the scam victims in the Philippines because some of them are gullible that they believe on those investments that they will earn big amount in just a short span of time. They don't research properly what they are investing and only focused on the promised return
5466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: January 29, 2020, 05:22:05 PM
Are you gambling everyday?
twice a week?
once in a never again?

if you gamble everyday, can you stop whenever you want or are you fully addicted?

would love to hear more on your habits here on the forum.

I only gamble on sports betting especially during NBA season and Dota tournaments. I don't like playing on casinos like roulettes, cards, slots, etc. as I feel it's just a waste of money.
It takes one in a million to win on those types of games and often addicting as I see to people playing it.
I only play those together with my friends or relatives.
5467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of crypto trading do you recommend with $50 investment? on: January 27, 2020, 02:16:57 AM
For me, I'd go with bitcoin trading. It's hard to invest in cheap altcoins these days because no one knows when they are gonna pump.
You can also choose top altcoins on the coinmarketcap but I think the profit is bigger if you'll just invest on bitcoin especially the halving is near.
5468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: January 20, 2020, 05:21:36 AM
I've tried it on my work computer a couple of times, but mostly I trade with my phone because it's more convenient and I can trade anywhere I'm as long as there's an internet connection. I don't think it's a terrible idea as long as the computer you're using is fully protected and the anti-virus has been updated and you're also making sure you log out whenever you don't use it, especially if the work computer is common to anyone at work to make sure that nobody can use your account.

The problem is can you focus on both tasks? Anyone can do both but not all, it's a terrible idea if you can't do your job properly because of trading.
Having a job gives you a stable income and if you lose that then it will also put your trading at risk because you have no source of funds.

5470  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxless society idea on: October 26, 2019, 04:55:16 AM
The only problem with the idea is there is no way of any government in the world that could rely on cryptocurrency which they do not control like mentioned. For them, it's better to create their own digital cryptocurrency or digital fiat currency on the blockchain.
I think having no tax is a problem, taxes are being used and spent in many ways, such as making an infrastructure, providing free education and healthcare and many more, if tax will be remove I dont know where the funds will might be get. Tax is essential for a country development. Laws can legal cryptocurrency but I think with tax also, government funds are based on how much they get in taxes.
5471  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: October 26, 2019, 03:32:41 AM
My lessons in the crypto market especially in trading is risk all the things that you can afford to lose, why? Simply because of this you can risk all the things that you have and if you lose you can cover it up eventually and you will not be suffers from a huge loss right? That would be the best motto in my life that I learned here in the cryptomarket.

Sometimes in life, it is okay to take risk, not just something we can lose. But of course, we need to learn first, and while we are learning basic trading then let us just make a capital which we can afford to lose, and once we are confident, sometimes taking risk is good, just don't invest your 100% money, just enough fund and not just $20 after few months of learning, or you are just wasting your time.
People need to risk of they are brave enough, people who taking risk and dont have a strong mind and heart will only leads to a bigger losses in their asset. Trading makes you feel anxious , if you have a weak mind and heart dont risk buddy, risk what you can afford to lose someday. Market is very unpredictable, take the risk together with you mind and body and learn the lesson.
5472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC, why do some people just get it, others really don't? on: October 22, 2019, 02:44:21 PM
We can't force people to know or learn something they are not interested in. Even if they are young or old if they want to get involved in bitcoin they will study it. I myself is really interested to learn more about bitcoin and blockchain technology but the people around me like friends or family are not really interested. Some of them even say it is just a scam.
5473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin coins are losing popularity? on: October 22, 2019, 12:39:54 PM
Bitcoin is an online currency.  Even if started with a lower price.  Now its value is beyond the reach of ordinary people. But, nowadays, it seems that Bitcoin is losing its popularity.Because, not receiving validity in low income countries. It may be the main reason.

What do you mean by "low-income countries"? If third-world countries is what you are talking about, I don't think it is a reason why bitcoin is losing popularity. Here in the Philippines, some universities already offer a course about blockchain technology. Some business also starts to adopt bitcoin as one of the payment. I don't even believe that bitcoin is losing popularity now because it has a big potential in our future technology.
5474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You own a decent amount of Bitcoin, How would you increase it on: October 22, 2019, 11:54:35 AM
  • Join in bounty campaigns and when the token you got (if they give you reward) will be listed in an exchange, sell it immediately.

Bounty campaigns is not that profitable today compared to the past years. Most of them are now scams and even if they pay it is not enough for the duration you supported that project. Imo bounty campaigns is almost the same as gambling now, the only difference is in gambling you will get the result immediately if you earn or not.

Smiley

  • Macontrol ang iyong pc at makuha ang mahahalagang information like bank accounts access, Bitcoins , keys for crypto

5479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: October 18, 2019, 02:41:57 PM
IEO is here for you and all you have to do is go to binance for any new upcoming IEO fund raising, you will get positive results

How can you assure there is really a sure profit when participating in an IEO on binance? I'm hearing a lot from their IEO and some positive results as well but I'm still hesitant to invest because of my past experiences from ICOs. Scammers will always be there where they can get money from people. Binance is just an exchange to hold their IEO, if the team behind that IEO has bad motives then what will happen in the end is just the same.
5480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The top 5 countries are ‘paradise’ for cryptocurrencies on: October 18, 2019, 01:41:37 PM
I would add china.
Why ? Because even their government is banned crypto, the whales in cryptocurrency many of them are chinesse.

How can it be a paradise if their own government banned it? If you use crypto on that country you won't feel safe because something not good might happen to you. We all know that China is a very strict country and going against their rules is a serious problem. If some whales are chinese then I think they don't live in China.

Many big exchanges with super big volume are in china

Tell me an exchange that is based on China. Binance owner is chinese but their office is on Malta as per wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binance
