5461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CEOs will see it ... sooner or later on: April 29, 2021, 02:06:03 PM
Yep. Its first Japan company that I know that put BTC in their balance sheet. It means that they had to have approval from Japanese counterpart of SEC or even Bank of Japan (bank of japan is the biggest stock owner in Japan (Bank of Japan becomes nation’s biggest stock owner) and significantly affects stock market prices giving liquidity and close to free money for all stock market companies).

This might be bigger news that I thought from the begging.

Exactly. Japan is super strict on these things and their own bad experience from crypto (Mt Gox) making Bitcoin a legal currency (I believe also the first in the world to do so as a national law) laid the path for this to happen. Whereas if Microstrategy would get heat from traditional players who will tell them they are irresponsible to gamble, in Japan this move will be respected and acknowledged to be innovative. That's Japan for you slow and quiet, but this will be really the big news people ignored:)
5462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many scammers have you funded by putting your money in? on: April 29, 2021, 12:47:50 PM
Not with any project.

I have a weak heart and not into ICO before that's why I was so lucky that didn't invested and didn't scammed by them. But I missed a lot of opportunities.

Unlike those investors that have a strong risk taking attitude, they've invested to a lot of ICOs and made a lot of money from it. But just as op, there were a lot of scams before.

Then I say good for you. I also got burnt by ICOs as I stated in my earlier post, and I too missed a lot of opportunities which is what led me to go into ICOs in the first place. But all the research I put in and time wasted, I might as well have gone in randomly and maybe even hit a good altcoin.

Lesson is always that if you're not an expert and not too smart and don't have too much time. Invest in Bitcoin.
5463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 29, 2021, 12:04:20 PM
Lost money betting on a winner last night, should have gone for goal totals and BTTS which was what I originally planned for, but who can tell when these teams can suddenly go out and score 2 goals each right?

All eyes on Barca tonight. On a usual type of bet I go for Granada but how can I ever bet against my own team right?
5464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My warning for you all. Alt season will begin soon!!! ALT SEASON STARTED!!! on: April 29, 2021, 09:54:36 AM
I checked tradingview and it says Bitcoin dominance dropped to %50 now which clearly shows we are deep in altcoin season. Although we have time for further price increases in this market. Bitcoin will surely test its all time high in couple of days, maybe in 2 weeks at most. After that point we will see even more all time hits from many altcoins. It is still good to invest in altcoins, this is my opinion.

Yep it's been like this for the past week or so, but less so because of alt dominance, more so because price dropped over 20% for Bitcoin last week (recovered now but still about 15% away from the ATH).

This has happened before of course in 2018 and we all know what happened to alts after that;)
5465  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Million Dollar Race - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: April 29, 2021, 09:08:09 AM
Why should Stake reward it's customers when there are maintenance? The maintenance is done to improve the long-term experience of the user. (reducing errors / improving security / reducing lag etc.)

Will your Bank give you a bonus into your Bank account when their systems are down for maintenance? It is inevitable that sites will go down, once in a while, so we should not demand something when that happens.  Roll Eyes

I find this same issue across all crypto gaming. Casinos in real life and services in real life charge you for everything. Maintenance (my bank charges me maintenance fee can you believe it). Fees just to keep an account when they should be paying US for our money.

But crypto casinos give faucets, loyalty rewards giveaways etc. And people complain here the most.

Every sportsbook I play at users come whining for "lost opportunity" during maintenance. So weird:)
5466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jose Mourinho Next Club? on: April 29, 2021, 07:56:15 AM
The big surprise for me is Wolves the favorite destination which doesn't make much sense to me. Yes, he is Portuguese and there is of course the undeniable Portuguese presence at Wolverhampton but seriously, how is he going to make the team fit into his tactics? Wolves play fast attacking football and if they have to switch to Mou tactics they don't have the players fitted to that style.
5467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 29, 2021, 07:25:57 AM
Wow you just can't rule out KDB. Even if he crosses it can become a goal;) Purely a game of two halves in the end but man I really thought Poch would get his team over the line at half time, didn't watch the game in second half as too late for me, seems I jinx myself even when not watching;)

Man City looked much stronger than PSG... I think that now we know exactly one of the finalists! Grin
I wouldn't want to see an English final, so I expect to see Real Madrid in the final... Chelsea is a good club, but I think Zidane deserves the final fight!

Me neither, it would be so boring. Remember when the last two met in EPL?
5468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are females welcomed in gambling thread? on: April 28, 2021, 05:53:11 PM
There are Muslims gambling during Ramadan and noone makes a fuss, why would anyone ever think gender makes it a problem?Wink

We're all cool and as long as you abide by the rules, we shouldn't care where you come from, which invisible guy you worship and which body parts you were born with.

Say your opinions on the game, talk strategy, and we'll all be fine!

The one thing they did to help keep the winning streak going for so long was to make very few rolls each day. Someone using auto-bet or a script would have made the same number of bets they did in 3 months in 1 day. The smaller the sample size the bigger the chance of variance occurring. That can obviously work against you as well.

Indeed. I haven't gone on long wagering streaks since last year but I definitely lost a lot more hitting the dreaded 20+ loss streak when playing millions of rolls on auto non-stop on several tabs... then I did playing a few thousand over days and weeks and months.

In fact, I recovered all of my past losses doing just that on one particular good run stretched over many months back when they were still doing 5/4/3 promos for Golden Tickets:)
5470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ⭕ ACTIVITY | TELEGRAM, REDDIT, DISCORD, TWITTER - DEFI PROMOTION ⭕ on: April 28, 2021, 03:59:22 PM
When you say imitating, do you mean it's just fake engagement? Am interested in getting some small-scale Telegram engagement packages but don't want bots and the like. Prefer one or two real people reading up on the project and asking very good questions that can then be answered later on AMA. Would you be able to provide a sample?
5471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Forget about ETH Era, We are on BINANCE Era right now!!! Long Live BSC!!! on: April 28, 2021, 03:02:16 PM
I believe by now, ETH team has already seen the popularity of BSC in the market. I don't think they are sleeping on this development. Who knows, we will be surprised at the end of this month by some progress coming from ETH? I don't think ETH team will fail its supporters. This is why we can see that it can keep its price above 2k level despite the fact that they still have gas fee problem. The supporters have faith on them.
You are right ETH gave us a surprise at the end of the month, just look at the current gas prices are very low and unusual. Will ETH's glory return soon and the BSC hype will soon fade away?

Gas prices are low but I hope that's not so much because of a lack of demand and because defi people have all moved to Binance... even if so it shouldn't be a very permanent move once ETH 2.0 comes around the security and ease of use should convince people to come back to it.

BSC hype is still quite strong though don't be surprised if it stays around til 2022 and beyond.
5472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 28, 2021, 01:59:24 PM
I am Real Madrid fans and I know many time Madrid get draw and have little chance to get trophy, how ever if Madrid not success with trophy I hope Atletico Madrid can get the la liga trophy for this year, but I believe and optimist with Madrid chance because Barcelona still have match faced with Atletico Madrid, as Madrid fans hope this match can be draw.

Nah, don't be too concerned about it. Barca fan here and I know it's still a long road to the title for any of us 3. I see that we're all not on our best form, neither are we at our worst. Injuries and form at some point have affected us but football is round we say and anything can and WILL happen. You're still looking for a nice double and Zidane is a smart guy, probably the smartest of all our managers right now.

But like you, I don't mind Atletico winning it, they deserve where they are.
5473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many scammers have you funded by putting your money in? on: April 28, 2021, 01:16:17 PM
Two big scams I can remember myself. Others weren't so much scams as just bad buys (I bought tokens and they did end up being listed but they just never achieved anything great and they at least did develop some kind of product.

What hurt most was that the scams were actually the ones I put the most DYOR effort into. Reputations, etc, escrows, whatever. But when a centralized project wants to scam, they scam. Nothing can help you then.
5474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CEOs will see it ... sooner or later on: April 28, 2021, 11:39:05 AM
Just wanted to say hello to NEXON Co. that just announced purchase $100 Million Worth of Bitcoin at average price of approximately $58,226.
Nexon is listed in Japan so we need to wait to tomorrow to see how it will impact shares price.

Phew, big balls and big buys. Japanese companies don't play around with what they do so this means approval from the very top. Blue chip on Japanese stock exchange and yes, it's "only" 2% but that's already more than some companies even put in gold.

That kind of belief will only spread to others. Wonder when in my country now:)
5475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 28, 2021, 09:46:37 AM
Aguero is an amazing player. The Manchester City team is quite stable. If Aguero is in the squad, they will become stronger. Manchester City need Aguero to win against tough opponents like PSG. The match will become more competitive if he stays in the squad.

As I said, not a huge huge fan of EPL and less still a fan of Manchester City and what they did to football with money but Aguero as a player lit up the stage like others and he helped break the monopoly that money couldn't do for a long time.

Stable team indeed but the fact he pulls them out of messes every season time and again proves his enduring quality. Hope he does well abroad from England:)
5476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin has gone to the sky, a collection of Animal Coins on: April 28, 2021, 09:08:16 AM
I also take advantage of this animal and other shit coins by buying them early at really low price then sell them immediately when I already have enough profit (I never aim for huge profit 10-15% is already fine with me) I can't risk to much for these kind of coins whose project seems unrealistic or I don't get their vision and saw no potential to be a good investment in long run. I was just so amazed how doge did lately I don't understand why a lot of crypto enthusiast is going crazy and still buying bulk. I didn't trust doge before and now that its price already went up high I quite regret but I won't buy it now as I feel like it will crash soon and Ill have losses instead of profit.

Yeah but exactly what is a shitcoin that can go big? Buying every single "ido" coin now on uniswap if you did 5 months ago, you'd probably make 100x on a couple but lose everything else in rug pulls.

Sounds like a nice strategy when you think about it, afford 99 losses for 1 big gain, but what if you miss out on that super gem?

10% profit isn't much when you consider how many shitcoins go to zero.
5477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Killed Bitcoin?? Greed? Government? Fraud? Idiocy? on: April 28, 2021, 08:35:13 AM
You know now I just think about it. Greed, government, fraud and idiocy actually didn't kill Bitcoin but helped make it stronger.

If we didn't have greedy speculators entering the market, we wouldn't have demand.

If we didn't have governments banning it, many more wouldn't have heard about it.

If we didn't have fraud, we wouldn't have people looking deeper to understand fraud-free networks.
5478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 28, 2021, 06:49:46 AM
And fan bias? Ask Liverpool how much they've lost me this season =)
Yep, fan bias is very bad for our profits. You should drop Liverpool altogether when you are not able to play against them. If City had performances like LFC you would be swimming in money  Grin

More importantly, 4 correct scores for me this round. @top 3 watch your backs guys I am getting closer and closer

Tell me all about fan bias. There were many times I should have bet against my own team given their terrible form this season (before the last 10-15 games that is).

As you say, if we just know how to drop our team at least (if we cannot bet against them), we would be saving loads of money. GL catching up Trofo.
5479  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How priced-in is Glassnode data and how we can use it to get ahead of the crowd? on: April 27, 2021, 07:26:57 PM
Never thought about it as it doesn't interest me as much as these days but you have to ask yourself about data providers. They want to make money as well, so they might take funding for research from rich players. It might even pay them off to just leave out certain incriminationg data (or in case of CMC just pay to get wrong data there;) ).

One never knows in crypto.
5480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin has gone to the sky, a collection of Animal Coins on: April 27, 2021, 05:28:14 PM
Although knowing they are purely junk coins and don't make much sense in the market, I have to admit that they would have been very profitable if we got in at the right time and curbed greed. Personally, I have benefited quite a bit from these rubbish, however I do not encourage people to participate in these coins. Money is yours, be smart enough to make your own decisions.

Yes to the rest, never heard of them, but I wouldn't exactly call DOGE itself junk. Fantastically overpriced now for sure, I'm going nowhere near it when it hasn't actually evolved or change one bit from the day it was priced 19 sats just a few months ago. Total hype train FOMO price action that's going to fall apart as soon as Mister Musk decides he wants to make his money.
