5481  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Paypal phishing attempt on: January 04, 2020, 12:38:32 AM
Hahaha, they are starting to spread again, omg. Can you share what the email address they used to try to phish you?
And also btw, do you really have a PayPal account? And just a little bit curious why he/she knows that you have a PayPal account.

Scammers aren't even trying to make it look professional but they are still successful, otherwise such emails wouldn't be sent.
This is kinda difficult for them for sure, maybe they are expecting their victims at are same levels with them or below.
5482  Economy / Speculation / Re: I Bet Bitcoin Reaches $10k In the Next 5-7 Days! on: January 03, 2020, 10:17:29 AM
Why need to bet? We *must of all* are hoping more upward prices of Bitcoin.
But for me, kinda not healthy, pumping for almost $3,000 in just a span of 5-7 days, although we already saw it before, even more on that, what I just want is something healthy on price action.
About network hash rate, I think that's also one of the reasons why we are still not breaking below $5,000, the network has rate continue to grow.
5483  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whale alert tool on: January 03, 2020, 10:11:58 AM
Welcome to trading, lol. Kinda new now, before paid premium signals, now whale alert tools.
So, it's also something like some premium paid trading signal which giving you a signal when to buy, at what price you buy or sell.
Friendly advice, since you are here in Beginners & Help, probably you are starting as new. Go first some fundamentals, especially in trading which is also a very risky way to earn more bitcoins.
5484  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [BEWARE] Chrome Browser Extension PHISHING for Ledger Wallet Users!! on: January 02, 2020, 01:34:09 PM
(..)
Have you notified Ledger? I think they could better access the support team at chrome store
They are already aware about it: tweet
How long this phishing extension got already 156 users, lol. I hope there's no such casualties on this. Looks like those 156 users are for sure from the creator of this phishing also, and 5 stars rate, really weird.

5487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $$ FREE FIXED MATCH BASKETBALL $$ on: January 02, 2020, 10:25:09 AM
Lol. This is scary, I don't know if this is really legit.
This is a huge problem if one of the teams mentioned above or involved in this fixed match will be proven as a fixed match.

Last time I heard about the fixed match is here in our country, those teams that are involved, they disqualified to the league and there are a lot of big-time people behind the fixed game and for sure they are suffering now.
Scary af.

Gamble at your own risk fellas.
5488  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What are the setup costs of developing your own bitcoin blockchain explorer on: January 02, 2020, 10:20:38 AM
(.....)
In terms on online server, amazon instances are pretty good (we run both an BTC and ETH explorer) which are accessed from anywhere in the world using RPC calls and runs 24/7. Cost is about 300 USD/month for the data transfer.
This is quite a huge amount of money since the OP said he/she wanted to gain personal experience of developing blockchain explorer.
Do you have any idea if, for example, I'll do it first locally, just for fun or experience just what like OP wants, Do I still need those 500GB of space
or minimum/DELL R200 with 4GB of ram and an old Pentium CPU just what you told?

@Bitcoinstein, probably this is one of the best personal experience to be added in your portfolio.
This is also one on my portfolio bucketlist, a blockchain explorer or any blockchain-related that code from the scratch. Well, good luck to you.
5489  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Ideas for increased security on: January 02, 2020, 12:29:14 AM
It is probably a good idea to enable users to check for an update before the password is entered but implementation might be difficult as it then changes how the software loads from the very start(....)
This is something like, if ever there is an update you will be notify before to enter your password. Is it something like forcing the user to update their electrum client?
Might be difficult if that so, what if the user don't want to update their client? do they can still proceed?
Difficult implementation for sure .

5491  Economy / Gambling / Re: CasinoCo.com now accepting cryptocurrency for lotto betting. on: January 01, 2020, 11:12:15 PM
Please note, as we are a Curacao-licensed site, we are unable to offer our services to some countries, such as USA, UK and France.
(...)
This kinda sad news since you have restricted countries.
So, every user in your gambling site will undergl to a Know Your Customer(KYC)  policy? Kinda sick on butt for every people who are from restricted countries.
5492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery In Your Place on: January 01, 2020, 12:34:43 PM

5493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: December 31, 2019, 03:42:31 AM
anyone here familiar with the www.bitcoin.com mobile app. I bought some bitcoin cash but they have not appeared on the mobile app. Bitcoin.com supports team is unable to help.
Oh, I never tried to use bitcoin.com mobile app. But how did you contact them? Did you try it here https://www.bitcoin.com/contact-us/ ? which located on their website. It seems odds why the support of that service unable to help you which they are the one can solve your problem.
And I also found out that they have an official forum located here.
5494  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for partner starting bitcoin farm on: December 31, 2019, 03:32:45 AM

5495  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: I learned about a cold wallet called SafePal.Please help! How about this wallet? on: December 31, 2019, 01:28:54 AM
If it is covered by Binance, why is it not being officially announced on that platform, I think you will find more acceptance if the sale is through Binance.com.
(....)
Binance invested and backed SafePal so something partnership.
Since they also enabled the SafePal hardware wallet to the Binance Dex.

5496  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Moving wallet from one phone to another on: December 31, 2019, 12:36:56 AM
Thanks for the prompt replies! The new phone is not activated yet. There is nothing on it.  I will be keeping the old phone, but need to transfer everything from it to the new phone and the easiest way to do this is to synch them via bluetooth.
(....)
Can you share with us if you able succeed doing the syncing the two IOS mobile phone via bluetooth without resetting anything in your breadwallet like it's completely normal after syncing it to another device. Since as you said, you still have your backup seeds, I think it will be safe.
Since I also don't anything in IOS environment, I'm a little bit curious and amaze about this.

Nakuha ko na pala Paymaya Card ko. Di nga lang natupad iyong 5 to 7 days delivery time lol. (...)
Wow. Meron rin pala ATM card si Paymaya.
May nabayaran ka ba sa pagkuha ng card sa Paymaya?
Need badly this which as what you said na mas mababa ATM transaction fees niya compare sa GCASH.
5498  Economy / Gambling / Re: ** Soft Launch ** Moonlanding.io **WITH WELCOME BONUS** on: December 30, 2019, 11:38:32 PM
Introducing Moonlanding.io - the P2P bitcoin gaming platform!
Does P2P bitcoin gambling platform means my opponent is my fellow player which probably not the gambling website platform itself?
So for example, I'm the only online in the platform or I don't have match or another player to play with, means I can't play?
5499  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: trezor 12 or 24 word recovery on: December 30, 2019, 03:07:25 AM
Just want to ask, anyone here tried to use 12 words recovery by default on trezor hardware wallets?
Trezor T generates 12 word seed by default. If you want to generate a 12 or 18 word seed on your Trezor One then you have to use trezorctl and follow these instructions.
Oh, that's cool, thanks for that. It seems not so friendly work for non-techy hodlers. I'm comfortable and much safer now with my 24words recovery.
5500  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How do I set up my Electrum Wallet to Legacy? on: December 30, 2019, 03:00:32 AM
You can't "convert" your existing Electrum wallet from SegWit to Legacy, you would need to create a completely new wallet (File -> New\Restore -> Standard Wallet -> Create New Seed) and then specify the "Legacy" option when asked what seed type you want to use:
(.....)
Since I can't do it with SegWit to Legacy, I can't also do it if I want to convert my existing Electrum wallet to SegWit one from Legacy?
Since I tried it with the new version of the Electrum wallet for both SegWit and Legacy, it still won't work. Maybe it's on the latest version of Electrum which is not supported or it is really not allowed?
