Lol that would be the trollest day in human history. What if you use network difficulty instead of the price? Difficulty correlates with the price, because the higher the price, the more profitable mining becomes, which means more miners, which means more difficulty. Of course, this is far from perfect, because change happens over long periods of time, but if you can create a script that checks for network difficulty, you'll be able to avoid dealing with any third parties, which is totally in spirit of Bitcoin.
I think this is a good idea because we can get that information direct from bitcoin-cli, but the problem now would be that the script would need bitcoin core to run, so, is almost the same than have a 3rd party plugin. |

Could be profitable if you focus on the fees, but the problem is the bitcoin volatility, because if you create an ATM some part of the capital will be in bitcoin, let's suppose you have 50% in BTC, so, what will happen if btc price drops 50%, then your business will be down by 25%, and that could represent a huge lose. But you can think about the inverse scenario, what would happen if BTC goes up by 100%, then your business would be up by 50%, so, in the end is a bet where markets takes the decision. |

Estuve leyendo sobre el tema y se me hace algo muy interesante que utilicen blockchain para inventariar las cartas, creo que solo por eso les doy un +1, pero como mencionas, al transcurrir el tiempo como las cartas van teniendo mas copias dejan de ser tan especiales, por lo cual el precio decae.
Ahora lo que me interesa sabe es sobre el sistema de referidos, que tal la ganancia por ese lado, ahí si es negocio?

Giving this info to alert every person around here and stay way from this kind of scams !

I recently watched the movie Goosebumps 2 with my kids and Bitcoin was once again mentioned briefly in this movie. The one boy mentioned Bitcoin and the other boy called it Nerd money.  <My kids turned to me and said, Are you a nerd?> So it got me thinking, why would people label Bitcoin as Nerd money, when people use electronic payment options like PayPal every day? What feature about Bitcoin gives people this impression about Bitcoin? The first thing that comes to mind is the technical IT knowledge that people need to understand the concept about this technology and also it's origin amongst very highly skilled programmers and developers in the IT industry. I am definitely not a nerd, but I am more than willing to carry that label, if it means that Bitcoin should be part of my skill and knowledge set in this world. Bitcoin Nerds will rule this world! <Bill Gates is 100% proof of that> If they call it Nerd money they do it because only smarter people understand how bitcoin work... How can you explain bitcoin to someone who doesn't even understand internet? How can we explain bitcoin to people who think internet is Youtube, Google, Facebook, and Twitter? or how could we explain bitcoin to the man who saves his bills under the bed? Is there any plan from bitdice to add poker (Texas Holdem) in the future. To be honest, there are only 2 'good' poker sites and would be nice to see more competence, it would be easy to add with some software like poker mavens or cubeia. So, any plans about this?
It would be really difficult without a big existing playerbase. I’ll second that most of the players on Bitdice I have seen are playing Dice or Blackjack, adding that game will take time and I don’t think the current players are poker fans. I feel instead of adding the poker game right away they can make a survey, asking players if they wish to see poker on the site. On the basis of the input they get, they can take a call going ahead. There is a big playerbase about Online poker, sadly from that playerbase only the 5% or less is on cryptos. But i think that's because there are no god cryptos poker services like full tilt poker, or one of those. Maybe if a good engine comes out that will bring more professionals players. But you are right, maybe now is a bad bet. |

Estuve revisando esa moneda, es inflacionaria (tipo Dogecoin) y ciertamente en lugar de direcciones blockchain se pueden usar direcciones IP o dominios supongo. se puede minar con CPU o GPU si tiene 7GB de ram (con bminer desde 4GB). ¿Porqué le pareció interesante, tal vez su protocolo? Tenia ganas de crear un nodo para ver como funciona pero por ahora todo es en Linux asi que no me queda otra que esperar a que salga en windows. Puedes instalar Linux en una máquina virtual (o una PC vieja/raspi) y listo. Muy interesante el dato de las direcciones IP, lo cual me hace preguntarme que pasa con la gente como yo que tenemos un servicio de internet con IP dinámicas? Este tema de green es algo complejo pero vale la pena estudiar lo a fondo, si Theymos esta apoyando esta moneda no creo que seaporrazones personales, ha de ser por fundamentos técnicos. |

Gracias seoincorporation por la intro al tema, digamos que se invierte en montar el servidor, e instalas todos los programas y paquetes.
Que habilidades (me refiero a lenguaje de programación) se necesita para el desarrollo, se que BTC esta programado en C++, si no me equivoco y sus creadores eran visionarios pero no programadores expertos en el verdadero inicio de las criptos, por ende la sintaxis no es la mejor de lo que he leído y por ello hacer contratos inteligentes es mucho mas difícil y toma mas tiempo.
Volviendo al tema de programación y habilidades que lenguaje de programación cuales se requieren para correr todo y conectarlo a través de una aplicación web y móvil. Nos podrías diseccionar un poco mas, hay quizás alguna guía para empezar.

Es un tema extenso, pero te puedo guiar con as bases. Es bien sabido que bitcoin core esta programado en C++, Pero ya que la inencion es utilizar las funcionalidades de bitcoin core y no modificar su funcionamiento lo que necesitamos es un 'wrapper', imagino que el termino wrapper es algo nuevo para ti, asi que te explicare lo que es, esto es un codigo que nos facilita usar diferentes plataformas o servicios. Con respecto a plataformas o servicios me refiero a bitcoin core, SQL y Apache. Personalmente mis desarrollos son en JS (JavaScript) pero bien pudieron ser en Ruby. En JS conseguí wrappers para SQL y para Bitcoin core. Algo asi como lo que puedes ver en el siguiente enlace https://github.com/bitcoinjs/bitcoinjs-lib y con esto podemos ejecutar ordenes desde JavaScript directo en nuestro core de bitcoin. Es importante en este punto entender el alcance de bitcoin core y utilizar nada mas las herramientas que gustemos. Por ejemplo, si nuestro interés es depositar y enviar bitcoin, tenemos que hacer un algoritmo con listunspent, y los comandos de rawtransaction... Para concluir me gustaría mencionar el roll de Node en todo esto. Node es lo que nos permite que JS se ejecute como un programa y no como un script, y a la par es lo que nos permite la comunicación entre el backend y el frontend. Creo que es la columna vertebra de un proyecto. |

Bien lo ha mencionado dominguero, Venezuela es el primer país en intentar esto. El detalle es que no se esta basando toda la economía en la criptooneda sino que es una alternativa. Yo creo que el primer problema que nos topamos en este tema es un problema de infraestructura, Para poder tener una economía basada en criptomonedas quiere decir que vives en un lugar en el cual tienes internet todo el tiempo sin importar en donde te encuentres. Y el segundo problema que encuentro es la volatilidad, imaginemos que la moneda pierde 10% de su valor lo cual haria de el el pais 10% mas pobre. y no creo que a ningún gobierno le agrade esa idea.
