5481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is more risky. Sport or casino bets ? on: May 30, 2017, 10:04:36 PM
I would say casino bets, Sports do have higher juice than the regular dice site (but about the same as for slots and BJ) but the interesting and convincing thing is that the match is actually played hence verification is easier.
Some people like casino's and some like sportbetting..

Both of them are risky and there is no grantee of wins in either sports betting and Casino games. Just Sports betting has a edge that since the result is based on the outcome of the sports, a site cannot cheat on the results.  However in Casnio games online, you never know if the bot is designed so as to make you lose always. House edge does matter but you cant see if the claimed house edge by the site is actually implemented at the backend.
5482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: May 30, 2017, 09:44:05 PM
as I know experience is important in some gambling games such as poker, but how about the other games like dice game or roulette, do you gain any advantage from your experience, can you used your experience to win the game? or maybe because of your experience you know whether to bet low or high in dice game

So Does Experience matter to you?
Of course it is especially on dealing with your emotions and what will you do when you face a conflict. Not only luck is require on gambling but also skills and experience. For me experience is a support that you will need inorder to win.

Experience does not matter in the actual gambling games like dice or sports betting etc, but it does matter on how you play the game. How much amount you invest and how you take your profits and play calculated so that you will not lose in the need. All these things requires experience, but to actually win or lose from gambling is only Luck factor and no experience in it.
5483  Economy / Gambling / Re: Biggest faucet for dice? on: May 30, 2017, 06:42:57 PM
I am also not sure about which dice site have the biggest faucet for now since most sites have reduced the amount of faucet since the crazy bitcoin price rising to the moon, but in the past rollin.io does have a big faucet for level 11 users, but to get your account to level 11, it is a huge amount you have to wager Smiley

Last time when i visited few dice sites, crypto-games was once highest paying. But you are right these days faucets are giving very few Satoshi that it feels so annoying that you have to do captacha in order to get just 50 to 60 Satoshi. I remember a time when they gave even 500 SAT on a single captacha entry, but now it is difficult to have gather free SAT via faucets.
5484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RANSOMWARE impact on: May 30, 2017, 06:29:29 PM
Windows was the main target and Windows 10 simply resets and reinstalls too quickly too deal with paying these guys.  The amounts of ransom asked for are too high and the price of a new hard drive is too low.  The last set of ransomware that we saw here wanted more than $1000 in Bitcoin to unlock people’s computers.  For $50, you can get a Walmart 1 TB hard drive and have yourself back up in less than 1 hour.  Last time I looked $100 could get you somewhere in the 10 TB range, at least 5.

5486  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: May 30, 2017, 05:15:58 PM
No it doesn't what makes you even say that bitcoin will help fight unemployment, people who are unemployed obviously have very less money so we can't really expect them to purchase 1 btc . Now if you are thinking that government will provide 1 btc to all unemployed then that's a big no. Current status of government is they have enough money for military but no money for the poor

It depends on what you mean by unemployment.  Any payment system that makes it easy to get paid without leaving your home will increase the number of people that are earning money.  Paypal was no doubt one of the first sites/businesses that gave many people that, for whatever reason, needed to work at home greater choices and options.  and now bitcoin is serving this purpose.
5487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was it due to Ransomware? on: May 30, 2017, 04:52:50 PM
I think that ransomware attacks are just a drop in the ocean of bitcoin; the recent attacks have little to nothing to do with the price boost we experienced recently.
I would be more prone to consider the growing interest into the crypto currencies of more people from all around the world as the main cause of the spike we witnessed.

Ransomware is no longer a new thing, it has appeared many times before, and it has survived so far. There are many hacker groups in the world, although their software is different, but they have all the same features, and they use bitcoin to get paid. It can be said that bitcoin has helped hackers steal money from others, but bitcoin is not the cause.

Ransomware is nowhere near as successful as people make it out to be.  The main thing that hurt this virus set of programs was the leak of the code.  When there was a smaller group deploying the virus, there was a higher percentage of people paying out.  The widespread ability to release your own ransomware ruined that virus for those that were using it.
5488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining LITECOIN on ASIC USB Miner is profitable ? on: May 30, 2017, 03:59:51 PM
I would suggest adding a site like miningrigrentals to your system.  Most mining on older, established coins is not going to turn a profit, because of the diff being higher.  That comes from the coin being mined for many months or, in this case, years.  There are sites, like the one I mentioned, that allow you to rental out time on your rig for BTC.  If you sign up on one of these sites, then you mine as usual, pointed to the site.  When no one is renting your rig, it is forwarded to whatever URL/Stratum you set on the site.  When it is being rented, you receive the rental income.

Another cool thing about a site like this is that you can use the site to change your own mining endpoint, which can be easier for new people that doing it in a connected ASIC.  Not pushing any site, just mentioned the one above because it has been around for more than two years that I know of. I really recommend this site.
5489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: May 30, 2017, 01:09:41 PM

By the year 2020 i think there will be bitcoin atm's anywhere

i do not think that by the year 2020 there will be the bitcoin atm anywhere because the bitcoin's popularity is not as much as you think that, yes it is true that the bitcoin price is very high and strong but for becoming an international currency first bitcoin need to be legalized by all the governments of the world and if the bitcoin remain illegal then there will be nor bitcoin atm neither bitcoin will be international currency.

Bitcoin is use everywhere in the world so it is called worldwide cryptocurrency but then it is not accepted all over the world like, there were countries that make bitcoin banned for the reason that it is not secure and it is illegal but it is not true. There is a lot of governments who do not openly support bitcoins and bitcoin has to go a long way before being accepted as international currency everywhere.
5490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japanese Airlines to accept bitcoins soon on: May 29, 2017, 11:16:08 PM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/japanese-budget-airlines-will-accept-bitcoin-in-2017-install-btms-at-airports

According to this article, Japanese Budget Airlines are going to accept bitcoins this year. They declared that later this year we can now enjoy flights without bringing our wallets but our bitcoins in our smartphones. As part also of their new innovation they have installed BTMs or Bitcoin ATM on the airport for the convenience of their customers. With this we can expect an increase in tourist visits to Japan.
Japan has become pioneer in accepting bitcoin legally.Definitely it has boosted the price of bitcoin more.It has become an eye opener for other countries to adopt bitcoin.
I agree with you if more country will accept bitcoin. The more country demands the price will go up Japan adaption is the biggest driving force behind bitcoin even south korea encourage people to turn to bitcoin because it can be a more stable way to conduct transactions.

Japan has already declared bitcoin to be a legal currency and so we shall see many big companies and multinationals adopts bitcoins in near future. Since many of the companies in japan are multi-national, this means bitcoin will be adopted by such companies worldwide making it a real big booster for bitcoin itself.
5491  Economy / Speculation / Re: Took just 3 months to double in price. Bubble!!!!! on: May 29, 2017, 10:47:18 PM
this is not necessarily a bubble just because it went up high so fast. you can not ignore the fact that before this rally started a lot of countries gave some kind of a green light to their people for investing in bitcoin.

something that the governments never talked about is suddenly something they are considering to accept as a legal payment method. this may seem like simple words but this is huge and it attracts a lot of investors. people who have been worried all this time because their government never said anything about bitcoin or was looking at it as something not-so-legal.

Definitely, there is a reason why bitcoin price doubled in just a short span of time.  As mentioned, countries that were previously neutral on bitcoin had announced their support and acceptance to it.  They even removed the consumption tax to attract bitcoin adoption in their country. As a result, we saw bitcoin price to double in just two months.  Just wait, the increase is still not done yet, there is also news that Australia will also do what Japan had done with bitcoin.

This means the increase is not simply a bubble that grows bigger without any reason.

This time around, the increase in bitcoin prices is not really a bubble but infact it is a real increase in the demand of bitcoins. No doubt, bitcoin prices doubled in just 3 months but then there are few very good news for bitcoins. Firstly the idea of hard fork for bitcoin and creation of BU has failed, making bitcoin more strong than ever. Secondly adaption of bitcoin by just two or three countries has made bitcoin price and volume this much high.

Only countries adapted bitcoin and see what happen to bitcoin prices. Imagine what will happen if more countries make bitcoin legal. This will really make the bitcoin adaption and price out of imagination. I am very hopeful that many new countries like australia will adapt the bitcoins legally making it a real big currency of the decade.
5492  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: May 28, 2017, 03:29:26 PM
I think we don't have to try to find an artistic way to teach kids about bitcoin. While teaching, we can make a relation between pennies and bitcoin so that they can understand much easier. We need to imply that bitcoin is not physical unless you make a paper wallet or metal coin wallet.

Kids mostly like physical notes and coins and they have a habit to collect them from their parents. They would like to feel them in hands as they do not know the real value of money. Since bitcoin is only on internet and cant be seen / hold, kids wont be much attracted towards it. Also they cant access computers and internet, so bitcoin is not for the kids.
5493  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: May 28, 2017, 02:53:18 PM
Panic selling are only done by profit takers, if they already seen that they get profit even if its too small they will sell thier bitcoins, profit takers are the traders sometimes.

I am of the view that Panic selling are not traders. Traders are experienced persons and they know where the market will move beforehand, so there will be no panic buying or selling from traders. Good Traders always buy and sell with proper calculations .Panic sellers are the normal people who have bought bitcoin only to get profit and seeing a dump in the market they sell,  gaining whatever profit they can or sometimes even they fear of loss make them less in loss also.
5494  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BITCOIN FOREX USI-TECH. NO SCAM! THIS IS FOR REAL on: May 28, 2017, 01:33:27 PM
You have to do better than this to prove it isn't a scam. All the other details you provide sound exactly like what other hyip scams are like. Why tour and ask all us small people for our money? If you are a legitimate company, go for the big exchangers and miners. 1% a day is double in 2 months and 10 days compounded.

Most people think that if a site offering less percentage of profit everyday like 1% or so, it will not scam and people also invest more in these sites as they make this criteria of selecting of, it will scam or not. I must warn you that even a site is giving only 1 Percent daily , there is no grantee it will pay you all the way and it can get a lot of investment for a month or so, and simply go away scamming all!!!
5495  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible big Crash coming within 10 days on: May 28, 2017, 12:49:30 PM
I think and I am predicting that a BIG CRASH is coming within the next 10 days.

Why?
Because there is no investment or asset that can increases itw own prices the way Bitcoin is doing, less than a month ago the price was at 1,300 usd and now is at 2,500 usd this is crazy and it is not possible.

Actually this has happened back in 2013 when the price falt like a rocket been knocked down to the ground.

Actually if you ask any profesional investor in the world what do they think, the will really tell you that it is too beautiful to be truth, and that you should stay away frrom anything that shines like gold, without been gold, because it is 100% that is a ponzi scheme.

So becareful and sell as soon as possible, before the boat sinks.

I hope also will not happen because I also like it, and I am amaze with what have happened, but lets be realistic, is impossible this utopic situation.

The OP prediction was right to some extent but this is not 2013. and this time bitcoin will not fall much and will recover very quickly. You see after touching 2000$ price again began to climb and at the time of this writing we are close to 2450$. This means the weak hands has dumped and now we will smoothly move towards 3000$.
5496  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: May 28, 2017, 10:38:41 AM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?

When you say "searching for bitcoin" do you mean earning bitcoin?
Bitcoin is not a hidden treasure and we don`t have to searhc for it. Grin
Btc reduces unemployement here on this forum, because of the sig campaigns.

Bitcoin reduces unemployment in number of ways and not only through Signature campaigns. There are a lot of job openings which now pays in the form of bitcoins. Since bitcoin is easy to use on internet (as compare to credit cards) , many people has started online business which buy and sell via bitcoins. So its has made people life easy online as everything can be buy or sell via bitcoins .
5497  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: May 28, 2017, 09:14:02 AM
cant say if it can improve economy , but it can destroy the economy , as bitcoin is anonymous it is difficult for government to control the money flow and get tax from that
I agree with you seeing bitcoin can not be traced due to anonymous factors. Even the government will not know anyone who uses bitcoin? Because they are invisible. I think giving taxes to bitcoin users is a stupid thing

Government have a power and they can make a site or exchanger that will enable them to track down the users of bitcoin in their country and we all know that the government is not that small time organization and they are one of the powerful organization in the world so they will find a way to solve that anonymity issue of bitcoin to have more security.

No matter, how powerful is the government of the country, one should keep in mind that no government can un-ban the anonymity feature of bitcoin. And Mind it anonymity  is not a issue but a great feature of bitcoins. Most government do not accept and make legal bitcoin in their countries only because they will have no control over it ,if implemented.
5498  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase service unavailable on: May 23, 2017, 06:30:05 PM
Coinbase mobile app is working fine for me.

I do get the error messages, but click through them and you can still accomplish anything needed - buying, selling, transactions.

I haven't tried from a PC.

Btw, their maintenance page is worthless. It doesn't actually provide status (or it didn't yesterday) it just mentioned what issues are going on, which if you're checking the maintenance page you're already aware of the issue.

EDIT: Access via the PC is also working fine.

Maybe they've completely fixed the issue.

Yes, Coinbase is back online and it bring relief to many as many people are storing their coins their including me. Whats make me more worried is that it is twice there site is down in space of 2 days which is a big of a shock for me. I hope now since its back online, its remain online and safe for all of us.
5499  Economy / Speculation / Re: How MUCH will the FINAL BTC be WORTH? on: May 23, 2017, 06:16:58 PM
All I can say is that the final numbers of how many bitcoin can be produce is 21 million bitcoin, that is final. But the value of bitcoin is in infinity as you can see and project if you rely on the price hike that is happening right now. and if you think a million dollar per bitcoin will happen, maybe yes, maybe not. Only time can tell, maybe the 8 decimal satoshis will go 9 or 10, only god knows what will happen.

Bitcoin final number 21 Million and 8 decimal places Satoshis are final and will never change, unless the dev fundamentally change the whole algorithm of it. But no one can predict the final price. I think it will never be a final price from bitcoin and it will be increasing forever, no matter how high it will go.  21 million total bitcoin will not be sufficient for the whole world.
5500  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Africa on: May 23, 2017, 06:01:54 PM
Africa most live from safari. Two safari, one picture and kill.

Although most Nigerians and Africans scams another African, yet it is one of the hottest business in Nigeria. Now they are trying to attract Asian to invest in their scam bitcoin scheme and investment plans.
