5481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Normal Game Setup - a success or a failure? on: October 16, 2020, 04:06:37 PM
Some of the sports leagues that got canceled due to the pandemic already finished with their respective resumes with some still on-going and lots of future events will take place under the new normal setup.

We have seen how these leagues put big efforts to somehow bring the sports back while people don't need to go outside to watch. They also think of a way on how to help players feel that the intense and excitement is still there performing in front of the fans.

Even with low ratings and small revenue (as expected), I consider this new normal setup as a success. It's not that easy to set up an own bubble amid the dangerous pandemic.

Kudos to their effort.

I only know NBA, boxing and MMA and they all have successful season and events, I don't know about the others, these three sports industry have a market and huge community to provide sporting events, they cannot just stopped their events because so many people are relying in these mentioned sporting events and they are multi million industry, they should do it even there is no profit in the gate.
5482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forming an investment portfolio on: October 16, 2020, 03:33:48 PM
Hi, mates!

I am forming an investment portfolio for the next six months and want to invest part of the funds to accrual it not by increasing the exchange rate.

There are few options here. I set out to compare all existing projects that offer regular passive income. By "passive", I mean pos-mining or something like that - not pyramid scams with restrictions on withdrawal in half a year.

Prizm immediately came to mind, but I personally have only one thought about this name in my head – financial losses. The idea of the project is not bad, but now it is just nothing. They also advised UMI, OURO, and Decimal in chats, but I haven't seen such unpromising and underdeveloped projects for a long time…

I was advised only with two interesting things: YodaX and QOOBER.

QOOBER was praised as a real panacea in the telegram chat as a real silver bullet. I rejected the YodaX project immediately because of the subtleties of its trading and the impossibility of withdrawal.

QOOBER is also a piece of work, it is not so easy to find any qualitative information about it. The first impression - it is something raw and not interesting at the moment.Their coin brought some ambiguity in my attitude toward it. The dynamics of its cost growth exactly. It is not traded on the stock exchange for a week, and has almost made X3 with a daily trading volume of 50K+ dollars.

.,

If you are building an investment portfolio then why concentrate on new projects the first investment portfolio should be top coins in the market not new and unheard of, it's way to risky to invest in new projects right now that is not making noise in the market, you should change your direction, and only add the top coins in the market and just add new coins or token in your secondary portfolio.
5483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will UNISWAP become a centralized exchange? on: October 15, 2020, 09:13:48 AM
Given the latest hype news from Uniswap, is it possible that in the new management scheme there will be risks of centralization and possible absorption by big people?
For example, the Dharma Corporation may well exert pressure and control over Uniswap.
So far Uniswap is one of the biggest decentralized exchange we have and and because of this the Decentralize Finance is making headlines and booming we should not let them become a centralized exchange, there's a lot of flaw to the centralized exchange, the only issue we have on why we do not want to trade in decentralized exchange is liquidity, now there are liquidity people are now coming here to trade.
5484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: October 15, 2020, 08:14:28 AM
Cheating or NOT Cheating?

Coming from altcoinstalk forum I've experience few projects going against their own rules like saying on promotion page that no KYC will be required and after promotion ends they tell promoters to go and open account on an exchange and pass KYC, what can this be called? Cheating? Any consequences for such projects on this forum? Thank you.

It's outright cheating there's no other word for that, yes they can change the rules but they already know that some bounty hunters do not want to undergo KYC, so the team will have a free promotion from these bounty hunters, and some projects have a hidden agenda they set up a bounty campaign just to obtain the bounty hunters credentials so they can sell it online.
5485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON FLIGHT TICKET on: October 15, 2020, 01:58:38 AM
New trend? how about no.
There's not that much information and you just want us to click the link out of curiosity but I wouldn't do that. Why not leave some explanation of what this coin is all about?

Just look at OP he change his posts to smileys obviously he cannot defend his project and he has no answer because he is caught and that his project is just to scam people, this is how scammers reacts they change their thread or lock it or just go away, hope no one take a bait on what is he is offering.
5486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNI Token Eligible Wallet To claim free Uni token! on: October 13, 2020, 01:06:36 PM
Did anyone experienced having another wallet used in uniswap but you lose the private key/keystore file to access the wallet and the wallet is eligible to claim 400 uni token?. As far as I know, the price of each uni token is around $3 to $5.

Have you? people should never misplaced their private keys even if that wallet has no coins on it, you never know if a campaign you participated for a long time or an airdrop you forgot suddenly send their token to that wallet, when it comes to wallet and private keys be organize never misplaced it.
5487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next trend for 2021? on: October 13, 2020, 12:01:35 PM
DeFi is going to be the trend to watch this coming 2021 we are not yet over on this after the massive airdrops and the profitability of the Decentralized exchange it will reach it's hype this year, 2020 is just a preparation but as always Bitcoin and Ethereum will always become the trending topic, just like the past years.
5488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: October 12, 2020, 09:40:33 AM

Of course and it will never be a title fight for a boxer who did not even win at least one fight in boxing, obviously this is just an exhibition fight and this is expected to be a fun fight to watch if Conor McGregor will engage by being aggressive.

The first boxing match of McGregor against Mayweather shows the weakness of McGregor that he is not a very good boxer he is more of a martial artist,  Pacquiao has been boxing for over 25 years and he is still on top of his game I don't know if McGregor will able to withstand Pacquiao assault, Manny do not like exhibition so he will take this seriously.
5489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Claim that 400 UNI on: October 11, 2020, 08:29:40 AM
Am I eligible to claim airdropped that UNI if I have traded uni in binance and have been trading since sept 27..I have no wallet except that binance wallet..TIA for those who will reply

No. You are only eligible for the UNI airdrop if you have traded or interacted with the uniswap website before September 1st if not then sadly, you were not eligible for the drop.

Glad that I'm part of the airdrop this is the biggest airdrop this year and because of this traders are now looking on decentralized exchange, because of the airdrop and the so many hacking incidents that's happened in the past month, decentralized are making waves now because of the Decentralized Finance and of course they feel that it's much safer to trade in decentralized exchange.
5490  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: India plans to introduce law to ban cryptocurrency trading on: October 10, 2020, 02:27:57 AM

India’s decision will be crucial as more Asian nation countries weigh pros and cons of virtual currencies. Rival China, which banned initial coin offerings and virtual currencies in 2017, recently allowed Bitcoin trading as virtual property, not as fiat money. It is also planning its own central bank digital currency. Both Singapore and South Korea regulate crypto trades.

A renewed trading ban could affect more than 1.7 million Indians trading in digital assets and a rising number of companies setting up platforms for the trade, data shows.

Instead of a ban, India needs a regulatory framework to protect uninformed retail consumers “to ensure adequate oversight of the government and the RBI over cryptocurrency businesses,” said Sanjay Khan, Partner, Khaitan & Co, a New Delhi-based lawyer who advises firms. “India can actually benefit from such a regulation to attract cryptocurrency investors and businesses.”

How many time they are trying to do that! Do you think they will achieve this success by banning cryptocurrency?Huh?
I have seen so many threads like this in this forum the government of India is thinking backward, where majority of industril and supower power countries are adopting Cryptocurrency, her eis India trying to bean Cryptocurrency, India is one of the worse place for Cryptocurency traders and traders living in India will have to resort to underground trading or get out in India.
5491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of Japan to begin digital currency proof-of-concept in 2021 on: October 10, 2020, 02:12:03 AM
Just found this article on cointelegraph it says according to BoJ's report they will begin the first of several testing phases for its own CBDC sometime in 2021. This will include the development of a test environment for the currency and experiments on its basement functions as a payment instrument.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bank-of-japan-to-begin-digital-currency-pilots-in-2021

Japan is a role model when it comes to Cryptocurrency adoption, they have fully integrated Cryptocurrency into their system and the lives of their citizens we can take their lead after this experiment, this is going to be huge not only for the people in Japan but the entire Cryptocurrency community as well.
5492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to move on if you've failed to meet the due date of a bounty campaign on: October 09, 2020, 04:55:39 PM
I know that most of you can relate to my situation where I failed to submit my entries on or before the due date of the bounty campaign. Not just once, but a few times already. I know how it feels, as I've felt the same way too. However, I've learned a lot and finally getting used to it.

I experienced that a lot of times and it really happens because if you have an offline job like I had you will sometimes miss the deadline,  experienced that on Dfinance twice where I failed to reach the 15 limit posts but that's ok with me as this is a weekly allocated campaign I just make it a point to reach the following week..
5493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Now Bounty Program totally worth less !! 90% Bounties are scam on: October 08, 2020, 05:15:11 PM
90% is correct and it could be higher I am into signature campaign for the whole year, but out of all the campaign I've joined I only made profit on one campaign which is Oikos all the other are useless or ends up like a shitcoins, I'm still lucky that I have one some of my friends are not lucky as none of the bounties that they've participated yield them any profit.
5494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My experience as a newbies in ICO/IEO on: October 07, 2020, 01:49:26 AM
. And when it comes in to buying into a new project I advice you wait until the project hit the exchange because over 50% of the ICO today sale below their ICO price on the exchange market so best you buy from exchange.

I also recommended that there are first dump of every coin the first time it hit the market it's inevitable some investors wants a quick profit right away, and of course we cannot stop bounty hunters from dumping their shares, this things really happen and if it is in the market then things will be excited and you can follow the development of the project.
5495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: October 07, 2020, 01:15:43 AM
Telegram is thrash if you entertain people there about there offer and you are in a wrong project, but telegram is important to get an update on project that we have invested and promoted, not everything on telegram are thrash but there are a lot of scammers here, you should know how to pick the right group.
5496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The digital Yuan is almost a fact on: October 06, 2020, 11:55:20 AM
You can say what you like about Communist China but they have been more innovative than all other western countries so far. Now China is almost adopting the Digital Yuan and how far are we in the west with these developments?

Read more: https://www.worldcoinindex.com/news/china-central-bank-digital-currency-digital-yuan-already-conducted-pilot-transactions-worth-1-1-billion-yuan

This is huge and since the Chinese have business across the globe they can make an impact just got this excerpt from the article, they are geared to become the first and possible the biggest, and if they can make it in the market, they can make a huge impact in the community not only  in the Chinese community but all of us here.

Quote
The governor noted that more than 113,300 personal digital wallets and 8,800 corporate wallets have been opened as part of the pilot program. The Digital Yuan is used for several different payment methods like facial recognition, bar code, as well as tap-and-go transactions.
5497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: October 05, 2020, 01:42:48 PM

Durations doesn't matter, small duration bounties can pay high rewards and long duration bounties can pay worse rewards, it's all vice versa, what matters is the quality of the project you promote

I agree that the quality of the project should be the first thing that you have to look but the stakes pool should also have your concern some bounty campaign only allocate 1% or a thousand dollars worth of their token with unlimited participants, if many are joining the campaign you are not going to make much.

5499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if "De-Fi" platforms become regulated in the future? on: October 04, 2020, 11:24:36 AM

I think if the blind DeFi craze continues like this, Governments would most probably try to regulate them as they did with the ICOs. As most of the DeFi projects work on a governance protocol, the Government can successfully regulate them by pressurising those who are capable of modifying the governance protocol which the DeFi projects rely on.

I'd like to see that happen but the smart contract is made as no interference it is programmable code that cannot be altered once it is uploaded and it's for everyone to check the code they cannot alter the code they can just go to people who created that code but not the smart contract.
5500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Mark Magsayo vs Rigoberto Hermosillo on Oct 3 on: October 04, 2020, 11:12:10 AM

What Magsayo's advantage here on why he won the fight is because he is throwing more clean punch although the total number thrown of Hermosillo is I think almost half of what Magsayo has only thrown in this fight.

This is good for Magsayo fighting a fighter who keeps on coming he will have a lot of that now that he is in MP promotion I'm sure Pacquiao will give him a lot of tough fight before he goes up for a big title fight, he has a great records but lacks big names in his resume.
