Yes, really. I don't think buying account deserves red trust in any way until it found scamming, spamming or account farming. You wrote all three in feedback but I am not doing any of them.
It does not matter what you think, but what the user leaving the feedback thinks, which is the whole point of the trust system. As an example, KWH's rating, which is neutral, is about what KWH thinks not what bouren thinks about it. I also have not stated that you've done any of the latter. Those actions is what is usually leads to and you can confirm that with both anecdotal and statistical evidence. If buying account directly links to red trust then why it is still allowed on forum? I bought account just to rank up easily otherwise I built account all wisely and of my own.

2) This could be intentional.
3) This could be a correct connection.
It shouldn't surprise you if (2) was the case, as this happens on a everyday basis on Bitcointalk (take a look at my untrusted ratings). That said, you should talk to yahoo and attempt to clear it up.

As much as you might find it painful to hear this, but you're at fault here. This is due to: You really sent over 2BTC to a user with 50 activity, and you didn't use an escrow?
Just because the user in question had an occasional successful deal or two, that doesn't mean that he can be trusted with 2.2 BTC. There are plenty of the people in the collectibles sections that have had a lot of deals, and I wouldn't trust them (upfront) with more than a couple hundred USD. |

As per forum rules: Yes. As per forum *etiquette*: Not really. Trading accounts, especially those that have a history of trading (i.e. ratings) is highly shady. Therefore, anyone who engages in this behavior is shady thus untrustworthy. Tagging them is the only rational response to this behavior. Now, if you're asking why some aren't tagged and some are, that is also rather a simple question to answer. It's time-wasteful to tag every throwaway account seller. The accounts that are actually being traded are those that should be primarily tagged.

1) Don't hire random baboons to manage anything (stick to established managers such as Yahoo, Lutpin, Edward, maybe me (disclaimer: I tend to reject due to lack of time)). 2) Don't give random baboons any money, use escrow. 3) Following those two, consequently, it is unlikely for you to get scammed like this.
