5501  Economy / Speculation / Re: And here we go in the red zone again. BTC under $220 .WTF s going on? on: April 15, 2015, 09:57:09 AM
I also have a feeling whenever we face one of these large dumps, it might be something to do with some illegitimate companies closing their doors and just running away. This time I have not been able to identify a company which might ve done this. Also, do not forget we still have lots of early adopters owning hundreds of thousands BTC. Selling 2-3k to buy a new car or an apartment s not a problem for them and it does affect the price.
5502  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Top Cloud Miners Compared by Profitability on: April 15, 2015, 09:53:08 AM
Profitability means nothing if you invest in ponzi and lose all of your money.

Only 2 companies currently pass my non-ponzi test, Hashnest and Bit-x. If anyone else would like me to test them or even write a review about them, just let me know.
5503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream on: April 15, 2015, 09:49:36 AM
I would put my money on Wall Street. Once big investment funds start investing and trading BTC, it ll become mainstream and no different then any other commodity like oil, corn or gas. The problem is that none of these firm s gonna touch BTC unless there is the appropriate legislation in place, especially the one aimed towards consumer protection. So yes, we need some forum of lose legislation first.
5504  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Got my ROI some days ago... on: April 15, 2015, 07:28:03 AM
This photo s what makes them ponzi 100%. Nobody puts miners so close to the wall. No cables, nothing.

If the photo s fake, then you can only ask, WHY FAKE IT IF THEY ARE LEGIT?
5505  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: April 15, 2015, 07:25:37 AM
This BTC price drop changes the picture again. It s going to prolong ROI significantly and reduce prices of contracts as well. Cloud mining s become a really tough business to participate in but I still have no major complains about Hashnest. I would like to pay fixed amount per day, like Genesis Mining for example. This good/bad luck s really discouraging.
5506  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloudminr.io is a nest of thiefs beware on: April 15, 2015, 07:22:56 AM

All rest look to me like paid bad advertisement from another service.

Have the same feeling !!
[/quote]

Why do I have a feeling this price reduction they ve been having recently s not going to end well. That price they offer s simply not sustainable, especially with this BTC drop.
5507  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 14, 2015, 08:36:54 PM
Paycoin s really got a devoted community, they simply do not give up. I guess they might pump up the price back up again.
5508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy bitcoin with credit card on: April 14, 2015, 08:34:03 PM
Bit-X or Cex.io (if you are verified) and there are a few exchangers too to whom you can send fiat through PayPal (using CC) and get your BTC...
Also, check out https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/How_To_Buy_Bitcoins_With_Your_Credit_Card to see the complete list of all the exchangers that allow CC to BTC... Smiley

+1 to this. However, cex.io required a credit card with 3D security and extensive verification. I would try Bit-x.
5509  Economy / Speculation / Re: And here we go in the red zone again. BTC under $220 .WTF s going on? on: April 14, 2015, 08:30:33 PM
Weve tested these levels before and according to past performance we should be able to get back into a upswing soon but i gotta agree, this may just be the market shaking out weak hands again ...

Not so sure. Look at the long term general pattern. Definitely going down and not recovering. Do not like what I see.
5510  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a coin that is primarily a store-of-value succeed? on: April 14, 2015, 08:28:50 PM
Yes it can. DMD Diamond s primairly store of value and it s going to be big. Yes, I have invested in it and yes you can consider this as a promotion. However, if I think it s smart to invest my own money in it, I see no reason why I would not recommend it to other people.

I don't see a point for a coin to have any value over Bitcoin, unless it does something that Bitcoin can't do. I do not think DMD is the case.

Its the same as saying it pointless to have Pepso, Fanta and Sprite since we have Coke. Well, I like my choices. I m sure other 2 million supporters of other alts also like their choices. Can BTC stake?
5511  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X] Buying Avatars + Personal Message on: April 14, 2015, 08:15:31 PM
Why not, Bit-X has delivered everything as promised so far. I would be delighted to be part of this campaign.
5512  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: April 14, 2015, 08:13:16 PM
This sucks big time. Hope the price recovers in the meantime for owners of Umisoo.

On the other hand, if these get turned off, would this affect diff?

There is no guarantee that they will be turned off, or that S2's are currently hashing for the UMISOO contract.  If Bitmain has gone in and upgraded all S2's to S5's already, then they can provide the hashrate for the UMISOO and S2 contracts for cheaper than what they are selling it for.  It also means they will probably continue to mine with them or resell them as S5's now.

I also always bet that they had cheaper than .098 kw/h electricity rates, but charged us that amount.  So they could still run them for themselves if it makes sense.

So you are saying Bitmain might claim to shut them off and would not actually do that?
5513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin is a ponzi game on: April 14, 2015, 07:47:42 PM
It ll bounce back. It always do. This is just another round of profit skimming.

I do buy when price is good ... meanwhile staking only ... I have neoscrypt for sale on westhash at p=4.8 (surprisingly some buyers at my rate Smiley ) and also mine now on yammp.

Unfortunately, you ll never have a good price anymore. After reduction, price ll go only up.

yes yes in the nederlands it already is you can order food to your house with bitcoin

There s no doubt this is useful trait but the question was whether a coin which is primarily store of value can succeed?
5517  Economy / Securities / Re: Anything sustainable worth of investing? on: April 14, 2015, 08:18:29 AM
More people, give me more. What about PoS coins. Any success with that?

Want some PoS coins? Take a look at Paycon Grin It looks promising, way better than Paycoin Cheesy

No thx, just the name makes want to skip it. I wont invest into Pay-anything anymore.
5518  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a coin that is primarily a store-of-value succeed? on: April 14, 2015, 08:17:10 AM
Also, it s a coin with a very limited and scarce supply as a real diamond should be.

Just FYI, diamonds are common.

Really? How many diamonds do you have? As opposed to some other carbon stone? I can find coal in my back yard, diamonds, a bit harder.
5519  Economy / Speculation / Re: And here we go in the red zone again. BTC under $220 .WTF s going on? on: April 14, 2015, 07:47:08 AM
To summarize: most people, outside of hardcore bitcoiners, don't really care nor hear about bitcoin.  It's not making headlines anymore, and when it does it's for the wrong reasons.  The shorters are the only ones sustaining and controlling the market right now.

If this is true, then the outcome s quite clear. We re almost at the edge....

Regarding mining, Umisoo and S2 miners have become unprofitable yesterday and will be turned off soon. If the price keeps going down, S3 s next in line. This is cloud data.
I m sure home miners are not far away from that.

Speculators and scammers, they simply have to destroy everything.

Oh, crazyivan...

I have a difficult time understanding why anyone disagreeing with you allows the degradation of all common manners.

And for the smart people out there, trade with the bulls & bears.

This is not true. I have no problem when people disagree with me, that s completely fine. I have a problem when people who are obvious trolls and promoters of other coins come here and troll this thread stating members of DMD team are thieves who are gonna run away with reactor coins. Integrity of DMD team is INDISPUTABLE and this reactor is an excellent solution, it has always been a great tool bringing a lot of great elements to the table. I stand behind this and I will ALWAYS have a hostile attitude towards two groups of people: trolls and scammers.
