I agree with you that Nvidias are way easier to handle, you can basically install the drivers, MSI afterburner and only find the better config, probably TDP, Core and Memory clocks, period.
About AMD, they are beasts in Ethash, and if people want to mine ETH and another coins Ethash, they need to face AMD and the tweaks (change bios, find a decent brand of memory, change clocks, timings etc)

For a newcomer, Nvidias are the way, but a enthusiast could handle AMD easily

About the new generation of Nvidias, no one know...they could bring something exceptional, but only time will tell...

Radeon VII is not easy to find the "sweet spot" for mining and you have to tweak a lot to find it, another thing to consider is the RMA, we have a lot of cases of RMA of people using VII to mine

Vega 56, 5600xt and 2060 are more expensive cards and we are at a medium term of mining, the profits are making sense to people who have cheap electricity rates, but it's not worth to invest heavy yet

Você falando sobre fechar de forma honesta me fez pensar que um grande tabu para ser quebrado para que uma exchange seja viável/lucrativa é que precisam ter a confiança do cliente a longo prazo
Já vi algumas exchanges que fazem umas parcerias boas, com pessoas conhecidas, parecendo muito profissional, mas no longo prazo não passava muita confiança e isso me fez pensar, pensar e desisti
Nós acabamos usando as mais conhecidas e que tem mais volume por acreditar que no longo prazo ela não vai simplesmente fechar e ficar com seus fundos
