5501  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New price comparison site for Bitcoin & Crypto on: December 22, 2019, 02:01:30 PM
I'm just a little bit curious about in the login/register feature of the site, what is the use of them? Like what can unregistered user can do compare to the registered one?
This website is good and I hope this will improve especially new features and functionalities.

I think I found some bugs here: https://gocryptomarket.com/coins

If I click the Market Cap which is for sorting(probably). I am not getting the highest market cap to show first, just like what in the attached picture, it should bitcoin to be in the first spot and others are scrambled.

Otherwise, a good job and a nice website! Keep it up!
5502  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I enjoy posting on bitcointalk on: December 22, 2019, 01:52:06 PM
Same thing I felt few months ago, sometime I just ended up for some hours exploring the forum like reading some old posts or thread, like connecting the dots, old controversy about Bitcoin that can be found here, and some Bitcointalk dramas too  Cheesy

It's not about earning here. Earning is just a by product and one should not consider it as the main source.
Some people here think otherwise. Apparently, if you're in a signature campaign, you're only posting for the money.
Hmmm, not all wearing signatures are only here for money, you should not include those who are really into the community, like sharing their knowledge or learning/exploring bitcoin/cryptocurrencies on this forum.
5503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simulation/Machine Learning Effects on Gambling on: December 22, 2019, 01:31:51 PM
(..)
Aside from all other issues, including being illegal, how can a machine or program provide reliable data on horse racing? These races are organic races. So there are many factors involved, including the instant condition of horses. It seems not possible to me.
Hmmm, nice question. That's also sum up, maybe there are public data available, like previous games stats and they gathered those data and analyze, then use it in the future games.
As others said above, it's not accurate and not 100% sure, so probably they have some model analyzing that could be probably huge data.

After reading some of the posts above, hell yeah! I thought it is not true that they are making huge money on it. But it is illegal and for sure, there are still some people who operate it secretly.

5505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss, A life saver or a evil? on: December 22, 2019, 05:58:39 AM
What do you guys think, is stop loss something or, or not so good?
Why it become an evil? It is exactly a live saver!
That's why it's called stoploss to stop your loss. Stop loss is one of the best weapon of a trader.
If there is no stop loss especially in some leveraged/margin trading, you will always end up to REKT city!
5506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 10 (Celebrating the 10th Week!) on: December 22, 2019, 02:11:14 AM
What if,...
Before this year ends you finally get to win a Jackpot then suddenly a big disaster came up out of nowhere then brings an outrage for people outside. Would you care to enjoy your winnings for yourself? Or be a good human being to help to save others.

If you're going to be a good fellow human, what's the first thing you'll gonna do?
I think this kind of situation is really different for every person and their personality.
Their are some people that are really generous. Just like me, enjoying my winnings alone is really not that kind of happy.

Just what I remember before when winning even small  profits on gambling, I used to share it with other people, buying foods for my family and buying drinks for my friend, no matter small profits or huge.

My first thing to do is figure out first what is the problem, identify the solution and start to use my winnings for the solution, like buying what they needs.
5507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Simulation/Machine Learning Effects on Gambling on: December 22, 2019, 01:36:38 AM
I am a little bit curious about this because  my boss just told me last week that on their country, they have tools maybe software that predicts or simulate the horse racing game (not sure if this is an A.I.).
He said most of the people using that kind of tool/servce are winning a huge profits.
This thing is just like, you don't need to analyze or think anymore, you will just place your bet.

Here's the questions,
Is this really possible on gambling(any form)?
It is not illegal?
5508  Economy / Gambling / Re: FIRST Peer-2-Peer betting website. NO HOUSE & NO DEALER 1$ UNLIMITED GAINS on: December 22, 2019, 01:20:35 AM

I have a question about this item on the Frequently Asked Questions(FAQ);
By this means, there will be no restriction on which country the user is located?
Like for example in some gambling sites, they always indicate which country are not alllowed to play on their gambling site and they are extremely strict with it.
5509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 21, 2019, 11:03:38 AM
Tonight is the crucial game for Meralco Bolts and bad news, their first quarter went bad, a lot of turnovers already and fouls too. But for sure, they can still do some points.

Here are the current odds now, we are still in the 2nd quarter of game 4.
I love to bet after the 1st quarter, betting on pre-game is quite difficult, need to figure out first.
5510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: to be able to get a large profit in today's trading is very difficult! on: December 21, 2019, 10:58:30 AM
Exactly! OP has some points. But as a trader, you should still generate profits, small or large, that are still profits. You shouldn't go for large in first place, because it will also take some large risk.
For the past few weeks, we experienced some huge price actions like massive pumps and dumps, especially in Bitcoin, even you are trading short positions or long positions, these massive dumps and pumps will still REKT you.
For OP: you should also learn how to trade short positions so even bear market you can do some short positions or even in bull market, it's up to you.
5511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Candlestick patterns on: December 21, 2019, 10:45:26 AM
A tool that you might find useful, candlestick patterns detection https://coinalyze.net/candlestick-patterns/
I tried to explore that website but it seems like it has minimal information and this is not advisable to use by some newbies on trading or just starting to learn how to trade.
Before using this kind of platform, a trader should learn first in a manual way, like how to identify by ourselves, this is much better then.
Btw, thanks for this, I'm a little bit amazed since there is already some tool for automatically identifying candlestick patterns.

Wow! Amazing promotion. This is helpful and fun, especially for asian countries which are celebrating christmas is important.
I have a question about Term and condition:
Quote
Gifts will range from $0.50 to $8 and can be in the form of credit or tournament tickets.
Does gifts does not have any expiration? Like what if I got some credits ro tournament tickets but I will not use them for some given hours/days/weeks ? It will not expire ?
5514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 19, 2019, 11:30:26 PM

Standings update for the quarter finals, both arr 2-1 for this best of five games.
1 win left and we can see who will advance on championship.
I want to see Ginebra will choke on game 4 against Northport Batang Pier, let's see what coach Pido Jarencio together with whole Northport team will do this crucial game 4.

On the other side, TNT and BOLTS. Meralco can still fight against, on their game 3, it was close. 4 points lead only by TNT.
5515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STPT Listed on Coinone, Price Jumps 40% Within a few Hours on: December 18, 2019, 11:33:56 PM
Is this what you have called the price jump for STPT https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/stpt/
it is very sad to see the the price of STPT is going down 30% and that means if that give a short hype while bitcoin is jumping back again to the top as the bitcoin is being manipulated by the whale. (...)
Exactly! Manipulated at it's finest for sure, lot of hypes and boom dumps. Majority of the pump and dumps manipulation has connected with some news regarding of listing on an exchange.
And I also suspected if Coinone is involved on this kind of issue, like pumping it and dumping it or in short manipulation.
5516  Economy / Speculation / Re: Two Years Ago, Bitcoin Was Over $19,000 — What Happened? on: December 18, 2019, 11:29:02 PM
For me, I think the market has matured enough and it may not likely repeat like what happened in 2017 (but I could be wrong too if analysts are correct about their bull run prediction), but it would be unlikely.
I think, you only can say this because of previous dumps happening on Bitcoin especially fall from $19,000 upto below $4,000..
Although that is also unbelievable but for what I saw, that is just an correction for the parabolic run upto $19,000.

But you also have a point when you say the market has matured enough, I also think that. But still, majority of us still hoping a new all-time-high.
5517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 18, 2019, 11:10:40 PM

Take a look on this stats. Northport is really lack on defense on their recent game same with the second one. For sure, coach Tim Cone already figured out after their lost on game 1
Northport extemely lack on rebounds. Their next game is much exciting if Northport will force a game 5.
5518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has this year Christmas favor your cryptocurrency portfolios? on: December 18, 2019, 11:05:07 PM
I have much better safe now since after all this year, I started to minimize my holdings altcoins, slowly I converting them to Bitcoin, I'm a little bit less worried now and enjoy this upcoming holidays for sure without thinking too much on my portfolio.
5519  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Recommend trading strategies sites on: December 17, 2019, 01:06:06 AM
I can suggest this : https://www.babypips.com/
Lot of tutorials about different candlestick patterns.
Although it's main content are about forex but overall, you can still apply it with crypto, since you will use a chart and candlesticks for technical analysis.
Lastly, you can go to Trading Discussion on this forum, lot of trading strategies there and we can do trading discussions too.
5520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much ticket you have till now ? - stake xmas raffle - on: December 16, 2019, 10:44:52 PM
(...)
Just to give out some few words about that sharing problem of that certain guy above.Theres no prohibition for sure on posting up this kind of promo
yet we know that this forum is a good place to get more players on certain type of event.Talking about that raffle which i shall say that its quite high for the total wagering
amount to be reached yet not all gamblers would able to reach that threshold to get a 1 ticket. So basically means that whales do always have the edge into these particular events no doubt.
Those complaints of being high total wagering to get tickets should be under the ANN of Stake located at Gambling Section, if y'all don't like stake's criteria for raffle, then don't join and find some gambling sites just what ryzaadit shared above.

Speaking of whales, whales are whales, even though they can easily join and get some tickets, those prizes probably a small amount for them. They are playing and risking huge amount of money then there's nothing wrong to get some high edge in this event.
