all i know is bitcoin isn't going to get bailed out... but that doesn't mean it will die off, quite the opposite.

I don't understand why holders are selling their btc

People that hold btc are doing so because they believe that it will be used worldwide by pretty much everybody, right? (="going to the moon")

This means that each btc will be worth thousands (or millions) of dollars, according to this thery.

In this view, btc are underpriced now... so why sell?

The only possible answer would be that they don't really believe in this technology, I guess

that and or they think they can buy back lower.

which might be true.. i don't think they will be able to... but they can sure as hell try.

who knows!

when you feel you've hit rock bottom, sell all your bitcoins.
I'm sensing sarcasm? If yes, I mean, if I'm selling at $360 I don't feel like I've hit rock bottom, I feel like a rock bottom is eminent... hehe.

thats only slightly better.  Cheesy

For the first time i'm wiring loaned money to exchange. Let's see how this turns out Cool

Maybe i'm already ruining my cash game career or my life for that matter.

Worst case scenario, i'm sure someone of you nice fellas can get me a g23 so i can blow my fucking brains out Grin (Living in sweden it's tricky to get guns)

you're not sane right now

step away from bitcoin and come back next year.

I'm actually, legitimately, nervous. If we significantly breach $350 or $300, there's no telling how low we can go before the mass selling ends. Perhaps it's just a momentary paranoia speaking.

paranoia is driving prices...

we are doomed!
I'm fighting off the urge to cut my losses and accumulate a bit more. I think if we breach $360 I'll be doing that... it's hard not to. I lose money everytime I try to time downturns but this feels a bit different for some reason. Might still just hold and accumulate w/ fresh fiat if we go much lower. This paranoia isn't helping Sad

when you feel you've hit rock bottom, sell all your bitcoins.
5514  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else buying? on: October 03, 2014, 06:16:41 PM
"Averaging down" is not a good strategy. Avoiding bitcoin completely is the best strategy. There is zero indication that we will ever reach an ATH again, and in another few weeks, people will likely be wishing that they had sold at $350!

Wrong. It is best to follow a strategy that is not based on emotions. This means buying low and buying high. In the end as long as an ATH is reached again, which it will, you will profit tremendously.
HAHAHA DELUSIONS! IT WON'T.

how how how would you know this?

Huge pumps? Time to buy? All i see is green @1min graph

Nope its a trap the bottom is 340 it will bounce from that wait some more time. because if it brake 340 hell then !

well fook now everyone is going to  sell to 350, and a few panic sells after that will break 340

we are doomed!

Well i think if panic selling start (i hope not) we will see $300 max somewhere there bulls awaits.

if we breach the "bottom" of 340 or so, doesn't that mean that miners no longer have an incentive to run the network?  I don't see how the whole thing would be allowed to collapse in on itself...the processing power of the Bitcoin network alone is tangibly valuable.

as soon as a few minner drop out, it will be more profitable for all the others.

but i agree with you

and its not like this is the only thing that gives bitcoin a market price..

this price... it makes no sense... i'm guessing things get worst b4 they get better tho, everyone is feeling the pressure and caving in one at a time at this point.
5519  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 03, 2014, 05:20:03 PM
Man...these dumps! Where do these coins keep coming from!

2011-2012?

Possible, if they were bought below 20$ the sellers are still making a nice profit.
But they had so much time to sell at 1,000$, then at 800$, 600$, 500$...

they probably did, but only a few... thinking it would bounce back and recover, we all thought it would...

now they are grabbing profits b4 its gone?
