Related note: Why is it so freakin difficult for Betcoin to just come out say and "yea, we fucked up, our bad, we won't make the same mistake again". Why are they going through all of this trouble to delete posts, blame the victim, and to hide a colossal blunder that is obvious to pretty much everyone? Just come out and admit the issue, address how things will be different, and try to do better. Fact is that a player played a game on Betcoin's site where they should have won X dollars, and he didn't receive the full amount. What is all this nonsense about moving on and keeping quiet? When you deposit money into Betcoin and play one of their slots, are you playing with the expectation that if you were to win a jackpot, you would have create forum threads, sign NDAs, and take legal action to collect your winnings?
Valid point, but the problem is that jackpot was won by error in free spin, which should not have happened. That's why they all settled the matter, and Jason was paid an amount he said he was satisfied with, until he wasn't anymore (wtf..) It should not have happened in the first place, but you can't expect casino to go bust on an error, especially when blame is on betsoft, and not betcoin.ag. What makesyou think that the jackpot shouldn't be won during a free spin? Because they said so afterwards? They have other games where jackpots can be won during either regular spin or during freespin bonus rounds, some games jackpot can only be won during bonus rounds. They also said it was because of the wrong denomination. In the end, when considering the betsoft jackpot data and Bovadas reaction, it's pretty clear (in my opinion) that they didn't know what reason to give because they never thought those 5 symbols would appear on a valid pay line and those 500+ BTC (and growing) will never be paid out to anyone. It's also clear that ajaresdale (like cjmoles) has a tendency to make statements as if they are fact when, in reality, they are assumptions or opinions at best and often blatant lies. |

The signature campaign & casino is their service & as clearly stated by the admin the forum doesn't has any TOS on how to. If some idiot thinks that theymos is not advertising them & hence it is not acceptable on forum then its obvious that his senseless brain is not able to understand anything of logic. Theymos could actually waste all the ad spots, it's his call. So does advertising on this forum through paid ads. The fact that Theymos denied Betcoin.ag from advertising on this forum is totally relevant information that should be considered when making your own opinion on the situation. But in the end, we each have our own opinion of the situation and have the right to leave whatever trust we see fit. Personally I don't think "I don't know enough about the site thats paying me to advertise for them to decide whether or not they are trustworthy" is a valid defense for advertising a questionable site. If anyone has a problem with Lutpin, please research Betcoin.ag before jumping to the conclusion that he's just being a bully here for his own enjoyment. Betcoin.ag has refused to address numerous serious issues for over a year now. For the past 9 months they have usedtheir signature campaign to create the illusion that they are transparent and willing to answer any and all questions. When, in reality, they are ignoring many of the real players on their site. If anyone has any questions about the issues, please ask me or anyone familiar with the world of online poker/gambling to clarify. |

LOL, I'm sure you'd follow your own line of reasoning if you were the one that got screwed for hundreds of thousands of dollars. It's pretty obvious from the thread that Betcoin/Betsoft tried to keep him quiet by giving him part of his winnings but not the entire thing. It's pretty obvious he took the deal because it was either that or 0. It's pretty obvious that he just wanted Betcoin to come out and publicly say that they weren't gonna let this sort of stuff happen again to one of their players. It's pretty obvious that Betcoint deleted his posts and just tried to sweep everything under the rug. Duh.
LOL at suing them. Yup, just file an action in an US court, it's that easy. Wait no...you have to serve them in whatever random island they operate out of, hire firms with an expertise in HK law (because for some odd reason Betcoin has that as their choice of law, despite online gambling being outright illegal in HK), and fund a lengthly lawsuit. Well i certainly wouldn't go around forums and whine about how i think someone did me wrong, and i most certainly wouldnt say : I am pleased to say that this matter has been resolved to my satisfaction by all parties involved. Responsibility has been taken by Betcoin.ag for lack of clarification from their customer support, Betsoft has acknowledged that the wording on the pay table may have been cause for misunderstanding with respect to jackpot eligibility. Both parties have been very helpful and cooperative in resolving this and made the necessary adjustments.

Even though someone from management stated the BBJ didn't exist when the counter was still going at around 5-7 BTC's (?), had it been hit, I'm sure they still would have paid it out. There were no terms. No Rules. Managment (paul) confirmed it didn't exist. There was a 0% chance of it being hit, there was nothing to hit. You knew about it and did nothing because you're more interested in your own personal bottom line. You are scum. Get it? It was mismanagement/misguidance/incompetence for them to state the BBJ didn't exist, but you keep bringing it up as if it was a scam, which obviously it wasn't. Fwiw, a staff member actually joined this campaign recently. I called them out for it in meta (for not doing the research) and they left within a few days. If Betcoin were allowed to advertise anywhere on this forum, I would call out whoever was responsible. (like I have here) |
