5501  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which exchange is best for trading? on: May 28, 2021, 10:52:58 PM
I am new in this sector. Learning a day by day. I have interest in trading. Many of my friends suggested me different exchange. So now i am confused. Can yoy help me to find out a Best exchange for trading?
Trading is generalized, so what exactly or how do you want to trade?

Are you into leveraged trading or perpetual trading or just ordinary trading which involves buying low and selling high?

Have you done candle reading, chart interpretation...let me not scare you but you could find this stuff all over YouTube and the best part is it's free of charge.

Trading is quite a complex field if I can put it this way, but it's worth the time, good luck 👍.
5502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im Surprisd btc still alive on: May 28, 2021, 10:16:05 PM
Are you saying bitcoin is only alive today because there are rich people involved in its ecosystem?

I honestly don't think this is true! Bitcoin has been in this for over 10 years and has seen good and bad days, suffered a few attacks  people trying to out smart others such as double spending but all these flaws are what makes it the perfect coin!

Other coins the only reason they can't get ahead of bitcoin is they are run by a central power and for users that want privacy they pretty much can't find it in these perfect coins of today.

5503  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: May 28, 2021, 09:46:12 PM
I was watching my favorite streamer MoistCr1tikal doing a side commentary on a Slapping Tournament, and what caught my eye was that it was sponsored by Totalbet, which means that it is a viable betting although I find it easy to bet if you have prior knowledge about who slaps the hardest. Are there any betting site that has this for betting?
This is one brutal sport to be honest, obviously not as bad as UFC Tongue

Who gives their cheek to get a free slapping in a room full of people, sorry just watching a few clips of the slapping contest I feel sorry for these guys....is this about the money or releasing that anger out of you...whatever the reasons this is a sport for people that want an adrenaline rush.
I think that is because of the money that the winner can get. For some people, that can be a brutal sport, but for others, maybe they can get entertainment from that sport. So they will still watch the tournament same as the people who watch the UFC tournament.

But I can not imagine that it is really hurt to get a slap on that cheek and not many people can receive that slap without any emotion. So I give a salute to the player.

Yes, it's all about money of course. However, this is ain't professional sports because anyone can enter and qualified since what you all gonna do is to exchange slaps until someone collapse because of the slap, simple as that. Unlike in KFC, you have to get a proper training first before you could fight, meaning your body is in a good condition.

Imagine making yourself fit in slapping tournament by getting slap at your home maybe? or slapping yourself until your face get numb? too risky for me.

Excuse me, KFC? I don't think you need to be an athlete to get in KFC, and really, the less you prepare for KFC the better Cheesy But I disagree on some points. First, if you really want a good slap you need to have good technique, and that takes practice so no, not anyone can slap good enough. Second, you have to train your chin and condition yourself on taking slaps. What do you think pro MMA fighters do? They spar and that means getting hit in the face. A lot. Sometimes even too much.
Why am I finding this funny, honestly you got me here, just how does one train their chin for such a sport??

You going up against someone who is bigger and stronger than you if your training didn't have this I don't see how someone would even stand a chance, the worst part about this sport you can't just slap your friend and say you have given up...you too have to endure some of the pain.
5504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin become more stable than Bitcoin on: May 28, 2021, 09:25:41 PM
Stable means there is no tag of war on the markets between the bulls and the bears, and if that's how the markets are behaving then there isn't much activity going on with this asset.

If it's stable you want then there is no better answer than stable coins.
5505  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whales and the bull/bear market on: May 28, 2021, 09:21:31 PM
So do the whales have the ability to dump us into a bear market on their own?
Yes they do, think of them having this to be their bargaining chip into the markets, they ask for something and it doesn't happen then they will show us who is boss.

They would be able to buy cheap Bitcoin but if we're in a bear market they can't sell for huge profits (and then rinse and repeat) until the next bull run. Or is Bitcoin accumulation the be all end all for them?
As much as these guys can make big moves they need the smaller traders to make their moves otherwise markets won't make their moves.
5506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has the Perfect Bitcoin yet to be inveted ? on: May 28, 2021, 07:23:13 PM
Is it Possible for something better than bitcoin to come along? Will an Alt-Coin ever surpass BTC?

There are plenty of them that are better than bitcoin, but a lot of them are separated by how the make changes to the project, for bitcoin a consensus has to be reached before anything is done to the blockchain, for others its just a couple of devs and whatever they agree upon is what goes which makes bitcoin superior in this instance, not forgetting the large community which btc enjoys compared to the rest.

Ultimately think of bitcoin as the Genesis of crypto we can't just do away without it Tongue
5507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A single Bitcoin may hit a trillion dollar if.. on: May 28, 2021, 02:23:01 PM
Hey mate  I don't agree with you here, Stablecoins can't push crypto markets that high because there isn't so much activity with these assets as compared to normal crypto assets we have.

A trillion dollar can happen once we have more institutional investors and perhaps a change in how crypto mining is done because Elon gave the world something to think about and if we go green then there is nothing to stop bitcoin now.

Konate set to sign for Liverpool

Ibrahima Konate has said he wants to join Liverpool – and is now expected to complete a £36million deal before next week.

The Reds have decided to trigger Konate’s release clause at RB Leipzig after making the 22-year-old their chief target as they look to bolster their centre-back options.

It is understood the player has already agreed personal terms having indicated his desire to move to Anfield.

And the transfer is likely to be completed within the next 48 hours with Konate becoming Jurgen Klopp’s first major signing of the summer.

5509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you get mad when the price of your cryptos go higher after you have sold on: May 27, 2021, 10:06:12 PM
Of course there will be that element of disappointment for not holding for a little longer, but you know what they say let bygones be bygones or is it its water under the bridge move on and catch the next bull run!

But honestly speaking I think when it comes to selling some of your coins it would mean its the best price and you comfortable with it best price is constantly moving so it could go either way.
5510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What effect does a growing number of altcoins have on Bitcoin on: May 27, 2021, 07:27:40 PM
I was just thinking, most new projects i.e the altcoins we have today are really not bringing anything new to the table other than enriching the devs themselves, who have these projects milking the life(value) out of established coins like bitcoin which could be the cause of been bearish or the extra load that's slowing bitcoin from going to the moon.

So what could be the long term effect of having more altcoins on the market, will they help build or break bitcoin?

Could exchanges play a major role in ensuring shitcoins don't get to see daylight to protect coins that are established to grow?

Bitcoin Outflow From Exchanges Suggests Confidence Crypto Rout Is Over

With blockchain data showing bearish market sentiment is weakening, oversold bitcoin may succeed in establishing a foothold above $40,000. The cryptocurrency crossed above the psychological hurdle soon before press time, having put in lows near $37,000 during the Asian hours.

The seven-day average of net bitcoin inflows to exchanges turned negative for the first time since April 22, data provided by Glassnode show.

That means coins are leaving exchanges after a gap of four weeks, a sign of investors are starting to take direct custody of their holdings, possibly anticipating a price increase.

The fewer coins available for sale on exchanges, the better the chance of the market going up.

Investors typically transfer coins to exchanges when they want to sell their holdings, so consistent net inflows represent a bearish mood, with outflows signaling bullish sentiment.

5512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran bans Bitcoin too on: May 27, 2021, 07:01:47 PM
Iran bans Bitcoin a few days after China did. This is coming after what seemed like an aftereffect of the Chinese action that saw Bitcoin dip severely (it still hasn't recovered from it).

I'm wondering if there are going to be any side effects or consequences for the Bitcoin community with the action taken by the Iranian government or is it just another case of "the snail shouldn't talk where animals with horns are asked for opinions"? Iran isn't such a big name in the crypto space, by the way.
lets not rush to conclusions, lets wait for the dust to settle and get a clear picture

According to report, the ban is a temporary one which will last only four months to enable the country correct its power blackout.

Do you think this ban from Iran is another FUD?
This is something you dont see everyday and i find to be  interesting, so this ban is being enforced to prevent miners from using power from the main power grind

but if you say there is a blackout does that not mean these guys are using alternative sources of electricity to mine??

Anyway not sure about the FUD part but If this is temporary then no need to be alarmed its just one way of sharing the available resources and a preventive measure to avoid an over load .
5513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ohio offering lottery prize worth one million for those that get the COVID shot on: May 27, 2021, 10:39:10 AM
If you look at the big picture this is a good way to encourage people to take the covid 19 shot because others could be shying away from this because of so much rumours and myths of the shot, things like blood clots and the alike....it could be true it could be false all yet to be proven.

But thumbs up to Ohio for the initiative!
5514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: May 27, 2021, 05:26:56 AM
Well well well and that's how Manchester United failed to clinch the UEFA EUROPA CUP after so much hype and good form, without taking away the fact that penalties can go either way.

Don't want to blame anyone or start pointing fingers but I still feel De Gea wasn't at his best because a good goal keeper has to save at the least one penalty kick but this didn't happen, players are tired maybe.

Anyway this is life you can't win everything, tough luck Man United and big congratulations to Villarreal
5515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: At what point do you stop buying the dip? on: May 26, 2021, 02:51:01 PM
At this point crypto markets seem to be influenced by some speculations, so it's easy to tell when people stop the bearish talk and turn to speak bullish, this should be the time to buy crypto.

The main rule is never to try to catch the falling knife no matter what.. Buying dip is luck + trading skills + experience
Lol I like this, sounds like something I can preach and put into practice
5516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: May 26, 2021, 11:56:06 AM
Staking is good if you believe a coins value will go up, and if you are also a holder this is an opportunity to grow the quantity of coins you have not only in terms of value, so basically this a having 2 for the price of 1.

But imo try find a different coin to stake than eth

5517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Bitcoin traders using up to 100-to-1 leverage are driving the wild swings in cry on: May 26, 2021, 09:58:28 AM
Bitcoin traders using up to 100-to-1 leverage are driving the wild swings in cryptocurrencies

Bitcoin’s aggressive moves are being driven by much more than the next China crackdown or Elon Musk headline.

Traders taking excessive risk in the unregulated cryptocurrency market being forced to sell when prices go down were in large part responsible for last week’s 30% drop in prices and outages for major exchanges, according to analysts. A burgeoning bitcoin lending market is also adding to the volatility.

The price of cryptocurrencies tanked last week, with bitcoin losing roughly a third of its value in a matter of hours. Bitcoin popped to nearly $40,000 on Monday but is still down about 33% from its high.

When traders use margin, they essentially borrow from their brokerage firm to take a bigger position in bitcoin. If prices go down, they have to pay the brokerage firm back in what’s known as a “margin call.” As part of that, there’s often a set price that triggers selling in order to make sure traders can pay the exchange back.

If not Elon or China can this truly be traders themselves, if this is true then we are trading using emotions!
5518  Economy / Services / Re: 1xbit.com honest review campaign (open) on: May 25, 2021, 05:39:29 PM
For starters this thread should have not been self-moderated, how do we know you taking negative criticism on board?

Anyway here goes my review, I have used 1xbit.com several times though i don't gamble oftenly, the things i appreciate about them is security of the account seems to be one of their top priorities, you try logging in from a new device or system detects an ip change this triggers the security system and you will be required to prove that you are the true owner with 2fa being an alternative option if you like, playing games regularly allows you to accumulate some sort of loyalty points which you can later on claim a free bet or balance which is something you don't see on most of our crypto sportsbooks and casino, and not to forget these guys have quite a collection when it comes to promos which tells you they are really trying to keep there customers playing on the platform.

5519  Economy / Services / Re: 1xbit.com signature campaign (open) on: May 25, 2021, 02:38:58 PM
1xbit my advise to you is  if you so wish to win the communities support, solve all scam allegations, if possible list all pending cases and the  status of each case, you cant just say "current accusations don't represent our site and made in order to refund lost bets" prove yourself to the community this is what payers are doing unlike sweeping everything under the carpet !

1xbit.com signature campaign rates look good but protect your participants from being neg tagged like you did in the previous campaign, am sure many want to join but the allegations are too much to ignore!

Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United if Juventus will not go in Champions League.
I read the rumors either - https://www.juvefc.com/ronaldo-towards-man-united-juventus-could-get-a-midfielder-in-exchange/
But, I guess Ronaldo has the choice to select which team he has to join, I'm happy if he joining the rival manchester city because pep has to mention him a half year ago during when winter session to recruit players with 30 goals a year. The City also able to pay a high salary.

Cristiano Ronaldo going to Manchester City won't and I wouldn't like it!

First him going to city a rival club to a team that jam started his career, big NO besides would Cristiano like the rotational style of football that city plays? For his age this would be good but this might send the wrong signal to say his old.

Real Madrid have a deal in place to sign Paris-St Germain and 22-year-old France forward Kylian Mbappe. Is this the final confirmation or can there still be some surprises and last minute changes?

Is this really happening? It will be one of the biggest transfers in the history for sure. Kylian Mbappe has been dreaming about going to Real Madrid for a very long time. It looks like his big dream is finally coming true.  Cheesy
The internet is too quiet for a  Kylian Mbappe move to Real Madrid, this remains as a rumour and what's the price tag on this young talent?
