Rafa will have extra motive but I don't think he has a chance. Medvedev, Zverev and quite possibly a couple more players like Rublev, Berettini and Sinner have much better hard court form at the moment. Despite his age I still think best of 5 works in Nadal favor so Nadal will do well but I don't see him getting to the final. Semi final seems like most probable exit point for him since he has solid draw.

I am not worried, France will do their part of the job. They would be stupid to go easy in this game since you transfer points in Handball. It is nowhere the same situation if France goes trough with 4 points (if they win against Serbia) or with 2 points if they loose. Much better for them to play it seriously and than Serbia should have no chance.

Knowing all that I took it as well. I did not read the promo rules before today and I thought we can choose our champion and then I would have gone with somebody else. I am blaming foreign coaches as heads for African selections which brought super defensive mindset into the play since it was easiest way of getting the result fast. Now when everybody is playing the same game it gets boring to watch.

Only problem with that bet is that Osaka will quite possibly miss AO this year She forfeited semi final the other day to to abdominal injury. Just watched Gambit - Hydra game and seen 4 vs. 5 game for the first time in my DOTA life. One gambit player left the game after 10 minutes and they continued playing as 4 and managing his hero a bit. After that it was just a matter of time for Hydra to take that 3rd map but Gambit gave them a good run and even had chances to maybe win the decider.

I watched parts of Croatia game and we played better than I expected but France had full control of the game all the time. They played as much as was needed and had a lot of reserve to use when needed.
