5521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying has never been the same in crypto. on: February 04, 2019, 03:36:20 PM
snip-
All the above, on crypto, if bitcoin goes down all goes down, if bitcoin goes up it all goes up, hence diversifying doesn't really matter as much as it does in stocks.
The word that I bolded above is the real fact and that is true, the price is going up because the price is going up. No need to diversify other altcoins because is that just the same. It will go up when bitcoin goes up, so now, let's get to focus on Bitcoin. Altcoins diversification is not advisable since we don't know when the price going up, they are swinging their prices when Bitcoin price moved. Let's just give full attention to Bitcoin and altcoins is our second option to choose.
5522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler was being robbed on: February 03, 2019, 08:29:19 PM
I mean, 75k USD dollars in cash aren't supposed to circulate in a single person pocket, in a random taxi... this guy has really done bad maths about his personal security.
I've got your point there, a 4million pesos cash( Peso-Philippines currency) is quite more than enough to circulate in a single person pocket or even he handling it inside the bag. That was his mistake carrying huge money especially at night is not advisable, and probably that was an inside job from the casino staff by giving a piece of information against the victim.

Lesson to learn how to handle and keep safe your valuable money and used cryptocurrency in gambling fewer worries and it is very simple to do so.
5523  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin continues to decline? on: February 03, 2019, 07:16:12 PM
Do you think bitcoin will continue to fall to prices below $ 3000? I saw the market conidisi kept red, without green. At the beginning of 2019, there seems to be no sign of a change in a better direction. What do you think about this? Please give opinions that are simple but easy to understand. Thank you!
I think bitcoin will not fall below $3k again. There are a lot of adaption in cryptocurrency this year and I'm looking forward for more. Also, the level of support in Bitcoin is very strong and as of now there's no sign of pull back.

Yes, it might happen, as what I have viewed the video link on youtube posted by Jet Cash post in Bitcoin Discussion here, The price of Bitcoin is going down because the price is going down.
Even the CEO of Twitter social media says "Bitcoin currency is the native currency on the internet" they are supported with Bitcoin and they have a Cash App also that is supported with Bitcoin. No doubt Bitcoin will soon raise up soon even this bearish trend happen. However, as what they have said, only time can tell. So let's just wait at the right time.
5524  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Gambling] Etherdice.io - Provably Fair Dice Game - Exchange [Gambling] on: February 03, 2019, 03:37:49 PM
Who owns the house? What are the house fees?

You own the house!
snip-
I have viewed the site it's quite very simple interphase and dark theme which is harmless to our eyes as a player.
As what I have noticed, we have owned our private key so it seems decentralized gambling site?

So, how much the value of 1 Ethereum to dice?

Is there auto roll mode of dice I didn't see on site?
5525  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Bitcoin is still down? on: February 03, 2019, 02:56:31 PM
what is the another ways to lifted up the Value of bitcoins in the market?

I think the main reason is a lack of confidence in the market, although progress is being made and many companies are developing. Sooner or later the situation will improve.
Self-confidence is needed then you are right, as what I have seen many people(weak holder) do panic selling when they know the market is red and they think cutting losses is the best solution there, they want quick profit on it. They never care about the real value of Bitcoin, when they've seen Bitcoin will raise up that's the time they jump the price and hoping profit in a shorter time.

Here is my own opinion, we need massive adoption and giving a real value of bitcoin. And let's bear this in our mind that Bitcoin must be the currency on the internet and not only getting profit.
5526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The price of Bitcoin is going down because the price is going down, on: February 03, 2019, 02:09:04 PM
I saw the video, that was pretty good the CEO of Twitter supported bitcoin and looking forward what the fundamental of Bitcoin is. He mentioned also that to shut down trading, yes probably he was right. Most likely happen of a scam now is on the trading exchange a lot of news of that and the latest one is Cryptopia exchange hacked.

The price is going up because the price is going up, (Bitcoin have massive adoption and continue spreading). The price of Bitcoin is going down because the price is going down, ( Do panic selling because they want to cut their losses). That's the hardest thing to understand to those people who didn't crypto enthusiasts, greedy people they all quick profit they didn't care about Bitcoin. Yeah, it must be the currency of the internet is Bitcoin.

I've never used any avatar before, but I want to ask, can the avatar be removed?
As what had Bl4nkcode said refreshing your browser to clear caches to appear your avatar and updated.

snip-
.. Now my phone is the only problem. Tongue
The same thing in your mobile mate, there's an option there above refresh, just like circle arrow symbol.

@ OP mate, you may now lock this thread if you are satisfied with getting information for possible spam replies happen.
You know already what to do Wink
5529  Other / Serious discussion / Re: This is why we have to keep cash on: February 03, 2019, 06:04:11 AM
Using cards for all transactions is probably will happen from time to time, people still looking cash especially if there is set outside of the city and towns. No machines for ATM cards or plastic cards where stored money. But these arguments have pros and cons that we may look forward to both sides.

There's a bunch of reason why we need to keep our money to the bank, and the reason why we shouldn't be hiding money in our house is just that we earn no interest on it. And the last purpose one will help keep your money more secure and safe.

I think you should not put all your eggs in one basket, having digital currency and cash isn't bad if you had it all.

5531  Other / Off-topic / Re: A KYC database sold on the Darkweb ? on: February 02, 2019, 06:12:14 PM
True. However we need to take into consideration that we have no idea how much they are investing on security and how many security professionals they are hiring to take care of the protection of data. It's pretty hard to defend them without that information publicly available.

snip-
This is the reason why I hate KYC. I heard those big companies will use these KYC/personal data to make AIs which will dominate the marketing industry. KYC is often used to execute sales and advertisement.

I hate it an app asks me to provide the personal data since I know those data could be jeopardized. I still imagine, what if facebook's data about everyone gets hacked and will be sold to some illegal organization will ruin anyone who they would like to ruin? It would be so scary. KYC needs attention and this is a serious one.
5532  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to secure your wallet from scammer on: February 02, 2019, 05:27:06 PM
snip-
These are helpful but let me add some options.

..for number 1,
If you don't have your personal pc, "https://www.protectedtext.com/" could help you save the links of your trusted website.
Facebook messenger would also do it and all you need to do is search your name on the messenger search bar then click the chat bar of yourself right there.

..for number 2,
To create a secure password, you may use special characters and it is limitless.
For example, password: vampire1<*.*>

..for number 3,
it is not that necessary to have an authenticator since there are also some consequences of having one too. But some of the wallets gives you the option for authenticating your wallet too.

..for number 4,
You can actually download internet security like "kaspersky.com" to avoid being hacked with software and sites from your browser.

These are the things I would like to add for this. I hope I could help you all and have fun!
5533  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto Exchange QuadrigaCX Missing $145 Mln After Death of Founder on: February 02, 2019, 04:49:18 PM
Worst possible scenario for traders who have funds in QuadrigaCX as the founder is dead:
snip-
I think can we say also to their clients on QuadrigaCX exchange that condolence to their fund.

As I have noticed on the link that the issues are many people asking proof of death by Mr. Cotten that to prove of his passing.
Sounds like shady because not showing proof of that but besides they respect Mr. Cotten's wife and family because they are now in pain.

Well, we don't know the whole story but that's impossible even his own family member doesn't know or having access even access on the gadget that he used(laptop/pc) maybe there's a seed phrase their to recover the cold storage of the said exchange and back all client's funds.
5534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep your funds secured? on: February 02, 2019, 09:21:53 AM
snip-
By the way, It is said "you don't own your Bitcoin if you don't have the Private keys."
If you need secure place to store your coin safely, then use electrum wallet https://electrum.org/#home as some above suggested.
I agreed I also now currently used that wallet an Electrum, feel safer than other wallets.
You can actually go ahead now and save your cryptocurrencies in hardware storage if you really wanted it to be 100% safe.
Of course, you have to save the hardware yourself as well and keep it in the safest location you will ever imagine.

But if you are looking for a good exchange, you may also try etherdelta.com. But if you want a centralized exchange, try Binance since it is one of the most trusted centralized exchange. I don't know why you were hacked in the exchange and let your money be stolen by someone. You have to be more careful next time because everyone would love to look for someone like you in this industry and make you a victim.
5535  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: *** Online Jobs to Earn Cryptocurrency *** on: February 02, 2019, 08:51:45 AM
@ OP, you can go ahead now and post the skills you have and make sure to get ready your portfolio. I've been there and done that.
I tried to do my best to find an online job through the cryptocurrency industry. First thing's first, joining a signature campaign is an option but beside from that, you can actually post your skills in the service section and wait for the people who are interested to hire you as their employee/freelancer.

Good luck to you and have a nice day!
5536  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: coinbase tax on: February 02, 2019, 05:26:49 AM
I don't any tax jurisdictions for this though I could consider this as a personally sent money. It will appear as your family member sent you through coin base without any agreement of lend on because you and your family member had an agreement personally. But if you will go to some lending companies/sites, you would probably have a little charge but not a tax.
5537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Smart Contracts indeed Smart??? on: February 02, 2019, 02:37:40 AM
Well if it comes to replacing a lawyer with smart contracts, that would be impossible. A smart contract is just a program and a lawyer is a different thing. A lawyer is human smart contracts are not. That's the point. I agree that smart contract is great when it comes to decentralized automation. But it is not enough and human trust is still the answer. Also, smart contracts would not be able to replace traditional contracts. Paper is still different as of now and smart contracts have the issue to solve still.
5538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AMA (Ask Me Anything): The current state of Bitcoin in the Philippines 🇵🇭 on: February 02, 2019, 01:29:25 AM
snip-
How is your people's response about crypto in the future ? ( especially when current market is on downtrending )
Well, prices are down so most people are out. In the future though? It depends a lot on what the price is in the near future. Like I said, only a very small minority are actually truly interested and passionate with bitcoin. Most are just in the space for monetary reasons,; shilling referral links and stuff on social media.
I also come from the Philippines, that was I've noticed too even my friends they did not care the Bitcoin currency that have a good technology, they much preferred to convert fiat than holding and waiting when the market recovering from the downtrend and yes, one of the main reason is monetary purposes.

Those people who are passionate in Bitcoin are a real crypto enthusiast, they know much better Bitcoin is profitable in the future. (I belong to this group of people).

snip-
Actually, I'm also looking for an article regarding this about few minutes ago but I can't find one. But as far as I remembered, I already read a post about this in our local board section and what I've understand is that Cebuana Lhuiller will focused more on XRP that's why they will no longer accept btc withdrawals soon....
You're right mate, as far as I know, they preferred to use Ripplenet product than Bitcoin blockchain since Bitcoin is not centralized to our government. Maybe they've to care for their reputations as the best remittance industry and transfer their partnership to Ripplenet Blockchain.
5539  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should the UK return the Venezuelan gold? on: February 01, 2019, 12:09:39 PM
Golds in Venezuela should be returned. The United Kingdom must return the gold under Maduro's administration and that's my personal opinion. Maduro is considered as the temporary President of Venezuela and is more reliable compared to the puppet Guaido. Maduro owns the gold so he has the rights to get it. I don't know why the UK keeps on blocking the gold withdrawal by Maduro maybe because the U.S whispered to them to block it.(IMO)

Theymos has explicitly said
Trust spam isn't allowed
However there's a lot of spam and very little is being done.
I noticed that usually, trust spammers are those newbies and Jr. members rank especially if their main account/s have tagged by DT members. I guess they are using or create a new one alt account to spam trust who DT's tagged them.

Then, can I suggest that newbies and Jr. member ranks are restricted to leave trust rate unless if they are in Member rank above? or they purchased copper member rank account.
