5521  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: Sejarah singkat Harga Bitcoin 2009 sampai 2019 on: January 01, 2020, 12:17:09 AM
-snip-

5522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with USDT or BTC? on: December 31, 2019, 05:44:06 PM
I prefer to choose BTC since I probably have higher gaps between the buying price and selling price. Even if it means there is a chance to earn big profits or big losing. USDT price tends to always stable, while BTC price can go up or down suddenly. In my opinion, USDT is the right coin to keep our money, while BTC is the right coin to trade or invest our capital.
5523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO's popularity is starting to slump on: December 31, 2019, 02:26:40 PM
I think it's because no new promising projects that interest people anymore,
It may be one of the reasons. However, actually, there are many projects that offer promising concepts, with real case products. However, once more,, they are born in the bear market, they follow the market condition, and they always have its challenges in choosing the exchange, in maintaining the community, and other factors.

we can't expect good projects every time, sometimes things will surely get dried
Yeah, probably true. Now, to determine "a good project" is very difficult. They may have good concepts, but, the projects can not survive in this bear market. Many factors influence.

IEO is still a good way of raising fund,
Compared to the other crowdfunding, it may be still worthy. However, I only see from the data above that the popularity and condition of IEO are decreasing.
5524  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question for me and others? on: December 31, 2019, 12:50:37 PM
Can I ask in every post for getting some merits from people at the end of the post line?
You need to read forum rules: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0.
You will see there that each member is not allowed to begging.
Quote
7. No begging.

I made a post today and two replies but no one get me the only one merit.
Don't worry about merit if you have good posts. Merit sources will find out your posts if they deserve for merits. Or people who have sMerit will appreciate your posts once they think your posts are informative, helpful, and quality. You just need to make posts more and continuously. Regarding your previous posts, if you got no single merit from them, it means those are not meritable.
5525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nice value odds: Bitcoin between 5k and 10k on December 31 (odds: 1.60) on: December 31, 2019, 11:41:39 AM
Very nice odds, all serious predictions from experienced traders predict a price between 6.5k to 8.5k.
I have no intention to bet on price prediction but what those experienced traders predict seems will come true. The current price was about $7,2xx and it moved down slowly. I am pretty sure that the price won't move very significant today. So, it is likely you have a good chance to win. However, don't claim to win too early, just wait till the end of the day.  Grin

From: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/

The chart showed the price moved slowly between $7,3xx - $7,2xx on December 31. (from 00.00 to 18.00)

5526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Purposes to play gambling, except being rich on: December 31, 2019, 11:16:12 AM
I choose this "Be an expert/experienced gambler"
I agree with you and I also choose that option. I think it is the main reason for me to play gambling regularly. When I play gambling, I won't spend my time only for fun since it seems so dishonest. I don't deny that the main purpose is for money.

To become rich is our ultimate goal because not all the time we are gambling to win money,
Indeed. We cannot win on every gambling since it is impossible. But we must learn something from every loss. It will be very helpful for the next attempts.

Gambling is a good shortcut to success, IF YOU ARE GOOD ON IT.
Yes, you are right. That's why we need to be experienced gamblers. Amateur will get nothing and waste their time only.
5527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Comparing ROI of Bitcoin's to altcoins on: December 31, 2019, 10:39:37 AM
Is this chart for exchange ROI?  Or investors ROI?
Have you accessed the link I enclose in the OP above? I suggest you read carefully the article to know in detail. Then, I am sure you can answer the question yourself.

But for the current investors, I think Altcoin ROI is better than Bitcoin because most of altcoin are sold with a discount (ICO/IEO) and sold at a full price on an exchange.
How can you state Altcoin ROI better? Do you have certain data to prove it? I'm sorry because I doubt it, moreover once you state ICO/IEO tokens are sold at a full price on an exchange. Can you mention what ICO/IEO tokens can be sold at full prices currently?

5529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin never reaches a new ATH? on: December 30, 2019, 11:57:28 PM
The possibility of not reaching the new ATH is always there. I am sure that many people already think the same as you, they should plan for the worse result in the next year. For me, it is no problem if no new ATH but at least there is a significant rise in Bitcoin value. However, it must be a bit problematic if the Bitcoin price never reaches $20,000 as the highest rate in the second halving. Why? Because investors may lose their confidence and trust in investing the Bitcoin longer. They will note there is a serious degradation in Bitcoin investment. The worst thing if they decide to quit massively.
5530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: Who is the 2019 Bitcoin Drama Queen on: December 30, 2019, 09:27:39 PM
Where is the poll anyway? I can't see it at the top of OP.  Cheesy

I vote for Craig Wright. He shook the world by predicting the price of Bitcoin will reach $1 million by the end of 2020. I don't see any other people with high confidence as Craig Wright. He is absolutely the number 1 Bitcoin's promoter and cool motivator for Bitcoin's holders around the world.  Grin
5531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Comparing ROI of Bitcoin's to altcoins on: December 30, 2019, 09:13:25 PM
ROI of top coins since exchange listing

According to the chart, it is clearly seen that Bitcoin is leading all crypto coins. Yes, NO altcoins can compete with Bitcoin. Even if Ethereum is in second place, it is still very far from what can be achieved by Bitcoin. If we compare Bitcoin to altcoins, it is like comparing an apple to oranges. So, once Bitcoin dominates crypto market and most investors prefer to focus on investing in Bitcoin, we must admit that it is very reasonable.

5532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BNB? on: December 30, 2019, 08:01:22 PM
Don't worry about the future of BNB coin! As long as Binance is still the number 1 exchange around the world, I believe it will be pumped and rising again in the near future. If it was decreasing today, it is normal as the altcoin market was in bearish currently. Or maybe because most investors just focus on Bitcoin because of the halving bitcoin hype.

Thank you so much, it can be one of the motivations that make me do much better again.
Well, I'm still learning and trying to be better member of this forum and trying to reach my expectations in the crypto world. I ever said that I was a bad poster in the past (only focus on fulfilling the criteria for bounty). And now, this is the chance for me to start working better, to be a better member ( not only a quick poster). Hopefully, I can be better again and again.
5535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government Taxing Bitcoin? Here's the Answer on: December 29, 2019, 11:58:02 PM
Taxes for Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies have become issues in some countries. This also happens in my country after there is legal protection for all digital assets, including cryptocurrencies. However, the tax for BTC is not implemented yet. This is still within the framework of the formulation and consideration.

There are always pros and cons toward the taxing for BTC if it will be implemented. If the government really want to tax the BTC, they must have the crucial reasons and must be fair for all people who have the BTC. Additionally, the regulation as the basis of the tax-decision must be clear enough, not only getting tax for the country but also considering whether the BTC holder does not mind about the amount of the tax. IN my opinion why there are still many countries that do not tax BTC is that it is quite difficult to make the mechanism, issues, and also consideration.

But, if the rule is like what OP said:
For me, the way we could still make it possible is to establish a local exchange wherein, if we convert our money to crypto, these local exchanges could already have the portion intended for the tax of each transactions.
I rather agree with this. It may be fair enough for all. But of course, consider the amount, for a fair decision.
5536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and bitcoin is Not good investment new era Next phase on: December 29, 2019, 11:27:35 PM
Crypto and bitcoin Not good investment as before
I don't think so, that BTC is not a good investment. Although this coin is volatile, BTC is still trusted for investment, moreover for a long-term investment. However, I also agree that some cryptos maybe not good for investment, they can be a way for trading to get short profits.
It is very different from the precious BTC in 2017 where the coin has very high value. I hope that after halving, BTC will have better value again.

Simply, BTC can be said as only one best crypto for investment although ETH and other cryptos may also offer high value. We can trust other coins, but it does not mean that they are very valuable.
5537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra coin alive or dead? on: December 29, 2019, 11:17:20 PM
Why you can state it is alive or dead? We know that Libra coin isn't launched yet. So, we cannot state it is dead or alive. Of course, we only can get general information about Libra in coinmarketcap because it is officially still not launched yet. Just wait for the beginning of the next year, we may have surprising news about this.
5538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash the real Bitcoin? on: December 29, 2019, 11:12:02 PM
I don't think so. The real Bitcoin should be the coin created by Satoshi Nakamoto. In addition, BTC still fulfills the purposes of him creating this first cryptocurrency. Although some terms may change, it is only to conform with the time flows. However, basically, the purpose and condition of BTC right now are still the same. On the other hand, Bitcoin Cash doesn't fulfill the criteria because it is not created by Satoshi. This altcoin is also a part of Bitcoin forks, but never state it is the original one. Everyone knows that Bitcoin is the real one, the original one forever.

I target to reach Full member rank soon at the beginning of 2020. And maybe higher ranks (Sr above). What I need to do: having a better quality in making posts and improve knowledge. For the next year, the minimum target is reaching Full Member and the maximum target is to become Sr Member. I think this is my reasonable hope in the next year.
