5521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why i prefer mining and investing in ICO/IEO on: October 07, 2019, 01:36:12 PM
In my case mining is not so profitable. Cause you have to pay a good amount for a mining rig then youbhve to pay for your electricity. And in my place electricity is not so cheap. But who have this facilities is cheap price then it's fine to go for mining.

That's why many people still prefer investing on ICOs and IEOs. It is not easy to build a crypto mining rig and you'll need to consider many things not just the capital. You still need to maintain those rigs weekly or monthly. And you also need to prepare some countermeasures when there is an emergency like a fire.
5522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one you buy Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: October 06, 2019, 11:58:14 PM
These two coins are the safest option to invest in crypto. But for investment, I would pick the Bitcoin. This year Bitcoin investors earned a good profit, at least they recovered the loss of bear market! But Ethereum is not doing better since last year's price collapse! And the growth of Ethereum is not good enough. So, invest in Bitcoin always the best decision for anyone

Ethereum's hype from previous years was because the hype of ICOs. It almost drive it's price to 0.1 btc per ethereum. It's still a good investment and they have a big update together with bitcoin's halving. If it's not a good project then it wouldn't stay at the top 2 spot of coinmarketcap and start to lose value.
5523  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: October 06, 2019, 11:58:49 AM
I am considering myself as a bull but if I need some urgent money, I withdraw minimum amount that helps me. But I am not happy about this and looking forward to have additional sources of incomes. I will probably regret all the withdraws in the near future.

Almost everyone is in the bull's group but never knows when they should sell. They believe in some speculation of a bigger price after a pump. Even if they are already in profit they are too greedy wanting to have more. Until for a long time they hodl at loss waiting again for a pump.
5524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Popularity of BITCOIN on Twitter Declining? on: October 06, 2019, 06:31:00 AM
1. Bounties & Bounty Hunters: During the Bull run bounty hunting was at its peak and all the bounty hunters participated heavily in twitter campaigns. Most of the tweets had some basic condition to add a few hashtags related to cryptocurrency I think that was the reason why the graph looks so tall during the bull run.

2. Trading Mentors & Media: A lot of hype was also created by all types of media around the world when they continuously posted around regarding bitcoin and how it went to moon. Moreover even every damn trader became a trade mentor because every coin was going up people gave calls blindly and became trading mentor. These mentors were giving calls on daily basis with these usual hashtags relating to bitcoin.

People are more aware now on those people. Way back 2017 ICOs are in hype and bitcoin price as well. Some people predicted that it will increase more the next year but many didn't expect what happened in 2018. Bitcoin crashed to almost $3k and scam ICO projects have increased. Some already learned from their mistake and wiser before they invest.

5526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many times have you gone against majority on: October 06, 2019, 03:09:48 AM
The majority vote can guide you which of the team is the crowd favorite, which has strong assets, and which as the least risks of losing. Though it is not correct all the time. Especially in esports, between the two teams, one can lead in the first half but the other team can still have chance to fight back and lead until the end of the game. I've seen this too many times in DOTA and LoL competitions.

It also happens to different type of sports not just esports. We all know that sportsbetting doesn't purely rely on luck. It depends on the gameplay of the team on that match. It's normal because no one would bet if they know they have high chance to lose in gambling.
5527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice - A small mistake emptied my wallet. on: October 06, 2019, 02:24:49 AM
~snip

I think most of the dice players experienced this once in their gambling activities. So I thought if it's possible for dice sites to implement a confirmation message when a bet is above the specified amount like 0.0005 or 0.001 btc. This way errors like this will be prevented, it would be more disappointing if someone bets 0.01 btc or above mistakenly.
5528  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 04, 2019, 11:52:58 PM
99% of the world's population still does not understand, do not know and do not trust Bitcoin. And everything is fine. Bitcoin adoption is a lengthy process that may take decades or centuries to happen.

How can you say that bitcoin is still not trusted by many people? It's price increase over the years meaning its demand also increased. Many institutions now starts to acknowledge bitcoin. If we don't spend bitcoin how can we spread awareness. If we want more people to trust it why we should not spend it?
5529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think majority of the people heard or read Bitcoin one time or another on: October 04, 2019, 09:56:53 AM
I think yes, most people these days have their own smartphones and have an access on the internet anytime. I'm sure that they've seen something about bitcoin. On social media these days it's easy to spread ads and can also be found on some random websites. What more 10 years from now, imagine the technology that time.

5531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: October 04, 2019, 01:47:15 AM
I am a beginner gambler. when I win in gambling I will buy valuable items such as gold or I invest in companies that need funds.
but not all the gambling money I bought gold or I invested, but half of it I used for gambling capital again.
so that I am not in vain playing gambling when I get older will have a lot of gold savings.

If you want to secure your future then why just invest all the money you use in gambling into the things you've mentioned. Gambling is a game of luck so it's like you depend your future on it, you'll just invest for your future if you win on gambling. If you still want to gamble for enjoyment there are some sites that offers a free amount to play.
5532  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinmarketexpert:Do you trade, HODL or both? on: October 03, 2019, 02:50:13 AM
Before I was both a trader and a hodler but after failing many times on my trading activities I stopped it. I can't control my emotion well in trading, sometimes I buy at fomo and sell at FUDs. I don't want to lose more money from trading so I'm just a hodler now. My crypto holdings are now only for long term investment.
5533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will There Comes A Time That All Online Gambling Sites Are CryptoCurrency Based? on: October 03, 2019, 02:18:11 AM
Yes it is possible but there would still be an option to use fiat. You can't force all people to use cryptocurrencies and there are still some countries where it is restricted to use it. Fiat will never disappear like what other thinks. Not all can afford and adapt to use cryptocurrencies as their main medium of money.
5534  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Sino dito ang naka experience ng last bull run (2017) on: October 02, 2019, 10:24:15 AM

Bounty campaigns ba tinutukoy mo kabayan?

5535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold on to patience even when it feels like wearing off on: October 02, 2019, 08:55:04 AM
I belong to the group of hodlers and I would rather hodl my coins than selling it for some few cents. As they say cryptos are really volatile so no one knows what will happen tomorrow. Who knows maybe that coin will rise up again after some few years. Like what my friend use to say, it's just paper loss, you will just lose if you start to sell.

P.S. I only hold ltc and eth.  Wink
5536  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin seems to be going up rapidly this morning on: October 02, 2019, 05:59:23 AM
I believe that bitcoin can be back to $10k because that is the price that bitcoin needs to break so when the price can do that, it will have a big chance to break another highest price.

We'll really reach that point before the year ends or even this month. Bitcoin sometimes shows the unexpected. It can rise $1k in a day or the otherwise, only whale traders will decide that. One thing for sure that bitcoin may hit new ATH next year because halving event will happen again.
5537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What have you done to promote the Blockchain technology & cryptocurrencies? on: October 01, 2019, 02:32:16 PM
I've introduce it to some of my friends, use our local cryptocurrency wallet, spread awareness that bitcoin is a digital currency and not a form of ponzi investment.

It's really hard to introduced crypto and blockchain to old generations like 80's. Some people even want a quick return so they ignore investing into cryptocurrencies. Good thing there are big companies that starts to adapt to blockchain technology now. It helps a lot to spread awareness to make more people interested in it.
5538  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bull push to 600k ? on: October 01, 2019, 07:13:18 AM
Can the push reach the new highs like 600k?

We haven't even reach new ATH since 2018 and now the speculated price is $600k? I don't see it happening and just imagine how much whales will have in fiat value with that price. Better hide yourself from the public and authorities if that is really going to happen.
5539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which betting type gives you the most payout? on: October 01, 2019, 05:22:00 AM
Straight bet for me, let's say a matchup of top8 teams then top1 vs top6. There is a high chance that the top 1 team so I'll definitely put my bet on it. Underdog or the last spot team doesn't win that often, most of the time their players are not strong enough to beat the top teams.
5540  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Babala]Biased Reporting (Shilling) Maari Nating Ikalugi on: October 01, 2019, 04:27:01 AM

Our kabayan has little knowledge in crypto only, so we should guide them, I really think that there are a lot of scammers in our country that is not concern with their fellow mean and they are just thinking of themselves.

Ngayon after a year  nag ibang bansa na daw yung doktor tangay yung pera ng mga nag invest.
