5521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance-WazirX Acquisition a ‘Historic Day’ for Crypto in India on: November 22, 2019, 07:20:53 AM
I would not start calling it "historic" right away because the RBI (Reserve Bank of India) and the Finance minister has not be lenient on cryptocurrencies here. There is a problem with banks freezing accounts which deal with crypto and this is a current topic of discussion among the Indian members. There are court hearing about the plea to stop this blanket ban which is getting delayed and postponed every month but we are still optimistic about the future adoption of bitcoin.

You never know when a certain news might trigger a counter response. This is just the start of the news from Binance. Lets see what the government of India has to reply in their official statements. They might as well say no and stop the entire operation.
5522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Projects Scamming Bounty Hunters on: November 22, 2019, 07:17:34 AM
Majority would really be hoping for some possible good pays with their shit coin without even realizing that they are just basically wasting up their effort and time on doing things which doesnt even considered to be paid up in the end of time.
Its all fluffy and warm when you first start doing it but you see the bad effects after some time, if you know what I mean Grin

Its true for these bounties too. But they realize it later, just like any other newcomer. We try to do out best to tell them to not take part in altcoin bounties but take part in this forum which can lead to a better rank in the long term and they would be able to join the bitcoin campaigns. But few actually listen. First timers are the biggest victims of these waste of time hunts.

They still think 2017 bull run will happen every year. How you expect them to understand the truth?
5523  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Crypto Marketet Is Dumping Drastically !! on: November 22, 2019, 07:13:36 AM
That just how market goes mate even gold and fiat currency doesn't always maintain its all time high sometimes it needs correction so is bitcoin, given its decentralize nature no one could possibly maintain its current price in short volatility is inevitable for crypto currency like bitcoin.
Even centralized commodities dont get a stable price for long. Bitcoin volatility is lesser than gold to a great extent. The current slow dump occurring over a period of few weeks does not really matter because soon a bull pump may start. In other words, centralization and volatility are not directly related.

Quote
Maybe try learning reading technical analysis to predict the price dump and not get shock when the price falls.
Tech analysis always a 50-50 predictor. Its not confirmatory and the opposite is always possible. But we can get idea of the trend only when it start to appear. Other than that price dumps if they bring a shock, that person should stop trading because we dont want anybody to fall sick seeing the market.
5524  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a loan to start up my CBD Hemp business on: November 21, 2019, 11:16:41 AM
but I just thought If you don’t ask you’ll never get.
You are asking for a kick on your sorry bum? I would very happy to give multiple ones to you if you need those. Kids like you need to be spanked to be reminded to stop dreaming in your druglands and come back to earth where people dont do businesses with beggars but only with those who are having a good reputation to rely on.

If you want a loan here. Provide a valid collateral. If you cannot, your best option is your bank. In that case they would provide you the bumkicks. Grin
5525  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Selling Bitcoin Miners, Mining Rigs in India ! on: November 21, 2019, 08:51:36 AM
UPDATE : SOLD 2 X GTX 1060 3GB
Just made this thread (no pictures yet) and already sold 2?  Huh

This is suspicious just like we see on the general "Marketplace" section of this forum.
And dont think I am trying to trash your sales here. These are legitimate claims. If you want buyers and people to be interested in your products please provide some pictures.

Also if anyone is dealing with this user please post here so others can get an idea of the products and the seller as well.
5526  Other / Meta / Re: default sorting in the altcoin announcement forum on: November 21, 2019, 08:46:21 AM
i have noticed the default sorting in the altcoin announcement forum isn't chronological (last post) like in every other forum. anybody knows by what it is sorted in that forum?

Its because of the new bumping system which previously some users tried to spam bumps to keep their topics on topic. Now its a more organic method of bumps. Go to any of these thread and check the top right corner where you some some buttons like "reply" "print" - you will "bump" there too. If you like a topic, bump it.

EDIT: you would be able to bump after you rank up. Thanks for correcting me @khaled0111

Possible Workaround: I have tried this, but correct me if I am wrong.

Click on the "Last post" button on the deep blue header - click it until the arrow beside it turns down and you will get a chronological ordered thread list. Go back to the default view by clicking on the name of the section for example "Tokens (Altcoins)". I hope that makes sense.
5527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be Gift of Santa Claus in this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers? on: November 21, 2019, 08:24:25 AM
Now, I think the last 1 year is not good for the BTC hodlers.
A hodler who gets scared with one year of down trend is not a real hodler at heart. A proper hodler should be able to hold for 5+ years without even a single on their fingers.

Quote
So, I just ask Gift of Santa Claus this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers?
I am sure "Santa" is not here in this forum so its no use asking. But I like your spirit so I would say like any other "bullshit" technical analyst, 50-50 chance of going up or down based on what news occurs around the market. Dont get all cozy with high prices, more chances of dropping price because people will spend their coins to buy stuff with fiat.

Offtopic: Years go on. They dont repeat.
5528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ERC20 token mixer? on: November 21, 2019, 08:21:04 AM
I don't know these websites - test it only at your own risk!
Then why are you posting them here anyway? You are answering your own question as well by posting them but without having any knowledge about their service being legitimate.

Fact is that erc-20 tokens that have values much lower than other cryptocurrencies will never become a good source to be used for mixing. I dont even remember any ethereum mixers but there might be some, which are less popular here.

At one time we could use shapeshift to convert these tokens to other currencies and then back to bitcoin which could be mixed easily with many known mixers.
5529  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Selling Bitcoin Miners, Mining Rigs in India ! on: November 20, 2019, 02:03:32 PM
If would be better for buyers if you provide some pictures for the models that you have in stock possibly with date and time. Although it does not guarantee that you are having them still it should provide a start to your sales.

You are a junior member so you will be able to post images unlike newbies. Upload them to any known image hosting site and link them here to display them.

Also it would be helpful if you declare about what escrow you would like to use. Nobody here would anyone with their money without using an escrow to mediate the trade.

Good luck on your sales.
5530  Other / Meta / Re: I'm Hero Member Now - Thank You Everyone on: November 20, 2019, 07:49:27 AM
Great job on the rank up. There are few members of this forum who are not shitposters and worthy of being merited to higher ranks but dont get that much attention from merit sources but its good to see that you have put in some good effort in giving something back to the community - your card topic and now you got a fine reward in the form of the next rank.

I can understand your delight at this because I was also getting stagnant on earning some last few merits to reach a self-made Senior rank but managed to reach that too last month.
5531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: November 20, 2019, 07:45:15 AM
The phrase "being accused of being a gambler" - is what you are getting the wrong idea from. You have taken it for granted that being a gambler is worth being accused of being one, meaning it is a crime to gamble and leads to bad reputation. This is not true. A person can be a gambler and have same reputation as a non-gambler. It is completely how they mange their time and money and their social life.

Again you say that the person is gambling for fun - so then they are being responsible too. So that should not hurt their reputation.

However one point is that friends and family should know about your bad habits because they will save you in the long run. But if they are revealing this to others and making your look bad, then they are not people you can trust with your problems anymore. Wink
5532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Deflationary model failed? on: November 20, 2019, 07:40:48 AM
OP is promoting his own shitcoins here, you all fail to realize this. Anyway onpoint fact is that deflationary model came from bitcoin and that was where it was supposed to work but then many altcoins started adopting it and using it as a buzzword to promote themselves. What they did was make a bad impression of cryptocurrency in general and ended up being pump and dump.

Whatever Initial offering is done, rest is same as always. They are shitcoins, only good for short term gains and quick sales. They have no long term holding value so do your own research before buying them.
5533  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Please help on: November 19, 2019, 12:38:01 PM
Helll guys please help me i lost 0.5 btc by scammer on skype.
Next time use an escrow who is reputable on this forum to mediate the trade instead of sending first to some unknown person on the internet.

Quote
if i make police report will they do something?
Not likely. Cryptocurrency trading is not legal in many places as well. Depending on your local laws you may want to report this to cyber crime but I doubt anything good will come off it. Mistake was from your side too and bitcoin transactions are irreversible. You should know these things before you start transacting in them.

Quote
i hope this never happen to anyone
It will keep happening if people trust any username they see on the internet and sends away money without using a middleman.

You should provide a proper Scam Accusation report as given here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0
If this scammer has a bitcointalk account at least that account can be marked with a red trust to possibly save other people from dealing with them.
5534  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to systematically learn to trade crypto from being a newbie? on: November 19, 2019, 07:48:35 AM
Would probably grab a book/start reading this forum.
Read the bitcoin whitepaper written by satoshi.
Its the first step that every bitcoin user should do but most of them miss out. What this will do is make your faith in bitcoin stronger and that helps to prevent being swayed by altcoin shills and nocoiners trying to make you sell your coins. Of course it is totally your own choice what coins to buy but bitcoin by far is the most safest of them in terms of long term holding and future aspects of acceptance and usage.

Prefer to go for a stock market trading analysis book if you wish, because there not many known bitcoin trading books out there and technical or fundamental is similar for both.

Avoid youtube channels because they do nothing but shill their own coins.

Also you can start dummy trading with virtual cash and based on that cash buy/sell as per marker quotes and see the outcomes.
5535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you lured someone in Gambling? on: November 19, 2019, 06:55:44 AM
This sounds a bit unethical to me.

If you refer to affiliate marketing then the person to person exchange of information is more liable to end up with a bad relationship. You dont want to ruin a friendship by making that person an addict. Rather you can take advantage if you know how to promote the casino but no directly make the person sign up. Thats how advertising companies work - they hit the psychology of the viewers to make them buy their product even though they dont need it.

But if you taking your friend to a casino then you are even if not directly, still responsible for your actions. Any harm that may happen will bother you throughout your lifetime and you dont want that.
5536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the halving a catalyst for a Bitcoin price bubble? on: November 19, 2019, 06:51:59 AM
If the price will bubble again and reach 20k level then expect a dump from people who bought at ATH.
If you are hoping to see another 20k rise then stock up on bitcoin at this stage to be ready to sell at that level. But doubts are there about such rise because in 2017 there were a number of reasons why the market rose like that, the BTC forking, the tether manipulation which fueled the price to rise a lot.

These things are not happening twice so probability of a huge pump is low.

Imagine mining reward as a cost to run Bitcoin. When cost halve then yes value of Bitcoin is to increase. It is simple as that.
Things dont always go as per the dictum. What about the miners who are more interested in the slow selling of bitcoins to balance their ROI and keep a bigger stash in lockup for future selling?
5537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Hunters Please Explain This ? on: November 19, 2019, 06:48:34 AM
That's because bounty ain't in its glory days anymore.
Glory days? More like shitposting days if you had seen the forum in those times. No wonder theymos came up with merit system to stop these people from ranking up with just posting twitter reports all day. Cheesy

Quote
There are still a few successful bounties, but we don't know which one unless we've tried them one by one.
Would you waste time on doing that or develop some skills and get a proper job which pays you?

Quote
Despite our research about the projects, it's such a hard thing to find a good one.
Because "good projects" dont exist. If they would, then they would not come for crypto as investment method. They would go for the stock market and give out their shares to investors willing to pay for them. Every initial blah blah offering is a cashgrab now.

Quote
It's all due to too much scammed and failed projects the past years that makes investors kinda hesitant to invest their money in some projects. With lack of ideas, copycat of other projects and all. Even if you found a good bounty, it doesn't mean that the end result will have a good price.
True, many projects dont even have an MVP (minimum viable product) to develop on. They start projects on what they feel good about without testing if that project really has a market or not.
5538  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Crypto Marketet Is Dumping Drastically !! on: November 19, 2019, 06:42:42 AM
I noticed before that Bitcoin price will drop in every weekend but now Bitcoin price was struggling to surge back in the market.
The weekend drop in price is often a point of interest. Some say that people cash out some coins to spend on stuff with friends and family, going out, party and so on. Typically what a "normal" human would do.

Quote
I consider that Bitcoin's price is unpredictable and there's nothing we can do is to hold longer if we don't see our profit were there. We will wait for a very promising event which is near to happen. The next halving scalability which is all crypto enthusiasts talking about that. Or, that was the same to BAKKT that nothings happen to bitcoin price.
BAKKT was said to be sold news to some bigger investors. What they did was they sold their news and those who got the news dumped. But the truth of these statements cannot be confirmed but only speculated at. Lets accept it for now and not waste time trying to dig out an unending hole.

Halving is the next event that bitcoin users are looking forward to hoping it would bring the next bullrun. But who knows, we may have another bullrun very soon.
5539  Other / Off-topic / Re: If Other coin likely ETH Will Take over on: November 18, 2019, 03:11:52 PM
If ETH Will Take over Will the bitcointalk Will be changed to ETH talk??
If the objective of this forum was to allow discussion between users for of bitcoin, what's the point of asking this question?

Quote
If That's the Case how the Bitcoin talk Forum admistration will act?
They dont care about it.

What Will be new name?

5540  Economy / Lending / Re: "Sushi Roll" Movie project IEO. Looking for Roughly .8 BTC on: November 18, 2019, 12:49:42 PM
stead of trashing me like it's not serious
If you are serious you would not come to this section of the forum asking for a loan but instead go to your local bank and mortage some property to get a loan. Here the local rules are to provide valid collateral for whatever lending purpose you have. If you dont you will trashed like this.

Quote
You can email me or post asking for more  info and work something if your actually interested like I said....
Sure, a newbie account with a story for a 12year old.

Im new to this forum , randomly showing up and just name dropping and getting into actual terms I don't think is appropriate in a open forum.
But you know where to look for money and what to ask for. Wink
