I think there was a lot of schools and teachers in Islam, which could distort the original teaching. Any Muslim who doesn't believe in the god is not a Muslim. Rather, he is an atheist. There are religions such as Hinduism, which are compatible with atheism. Even an atheist will be regarded as a Hindu, as long as he follows the Hindu rituals. But the same can't be said about religions such as Islam and Christianity. Anyone who doesn't believe in god can't belong to these religions. Not exactly true. I know people who are from Muslim culture but they like dogs, drink beer, pretty normal although maybe don't eat pork. You can say they are "not Muslim" but their distance from the tenets of the religion is not different than the distance of many Christians from the tenets of Christianity. And these kinds of people are not the terrorists, ever. |
